Lettuce released a new single “House of Lett” from the upcoming album “Resonate”

Lettuce released a new single “House of Lett” from the upcoming album “Resonate”. The band also issued the official live video for "House of Lett".  The song it’s exactly what we can expect from these funk heroes – funky groovy banger with a nod towards house music. “House music can be funky!” he said. “The driving force of the beat can lift you up and make you MOVE. Until we can all be together grooving again, we hope you enjoy the vibe of this live video of ‘House of Lett’ and that it gets your blood flowing during this difficult time in history. Turn it up and get your at-home dance party on!”, Adam Deitch explains. The first single from the new album "Checker Wrecker" featured DC go-go music legends Big Tony Fisher of Trouble Funk and Tyrone "Jungle Boogie" Williams of Rare Essence. The second single "'NDUGU", it’s a super groovy track inspired by the legendary drummer Leon 'Ndugu' Chancler, who worked with so many incredible artists, from Michael Jackson,  Stanley Clarke, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, John Lee Hooker, Thelonious Monk,  Patrice Rushen, Santana, Tina Turner, to Weather Report.   Watch video to Lettuce new song " House of Lett", the third single from their upcoming album “Resonate” below: “Resonate” is the follow-up to their 2019 album “Elevate”, which get more than 3 million streams, hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Albums Chart and iTunes Top R&B Albums Chart, and earned the band their first collective Grammy nomination in the category of Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. “Resonate is a definite continuation of the vibe of Elevate. There are brand-new tracks on it along with some stuff that we’ve only played live at shows. When listening "Resonate", we hope you can feel the groove, be moved to dance, and allow it to shine a bright, positive light on any lingering negative vibes”, the band explains. Members of fusion quintet Nth Power have toured with Beyonce, Chaka Khan, Maceo Parker, Big Daddy Kane.

Fresh from Nola’s Jazz Fest, 9th Power, which lit up the Jackson stage during Contour Fest last summer, returns to the valley Tuesday.

JACKSON HOLE, WY – There’s a keen sense of timing when it comes to piecing together the magic that happens within the tight grooves of The Nth Power. It’s moody, powerful and brings to mind the elements that made Weather Report’s jazz-fusion so hypnotic. Yet the contemporary approach melts well with the soul of Marvin Gaye and the impact of The Roots. Add some seriously heavy dance grooves spanning R&B, rock, gospel, and World Beat, and you have a five-piece that spells much of what cannot be explained without seeing them live. Perhaps you remember them from Contour Music Festival last June?

The formula starts with heavy-hitting drummer Nikki Glaspie (Dumpstaphunk, Beyonce), compounded by ultra melodic bassist/vocalist Nate Edgar (John Brown’s Body), guitarist Nick Cassarino (Jennifer Hartswick Band, Big Daddy Kane), West African djembe master Weedie Braimah (Toubab Krewe, Kreative Pandemonium), newest member, keyboardist/vocalist Courtney “Jay-Mel” Smith.
