I just keep returning to these lil guys and their lil cabin on a lil lake in Québec. They go on lil adventures here and there, but it’s nice to bring them home, to the lakeshore down the steps from the porch, where they swim some mornings when the weather is good, or just look out across the lake to the trees and mountains beyond.

This run of the game is not going well. The players had to call in Nigel for help and they still all got captured by Jurgen the Brutal.

While the players try to come up with a plan, Jurgen drags the Jumanji Field Guide away for a word in private, and he's not going to be gentle... or at least Nigel hopes not.

tl;dr - Nigel/Jurgen, established relationship (yes, you read that right), fun times in the Fortress.

Pushing through Rhys/Taika characters ships ehehe, as for this one, I'm getting obsessed with the idea of Nigel, not Antwan, being pulled into this world bc of some Jumanji console malfunction (mb after some former CEO spilt his booze on it, why not ><) and from now on he's to be taught by Antwan how to survive in our concrete jungle (I want to read smth like that, yesss 0-0)

Sometimes a fever dream of an idea grabs you by the lapels and will not let you go until you paint it. That's what happened with this watercolour of Baba Yaga station here, an urban metro station standing on a pair of funky lil birb legs, under which the subway passes. Please imagine the lil guys on the platform got down there by way of an escalator or some stairs I didn't feel like painting. Just don't question the logistics tbh. Torontonians may recognise that Baba Yaga Station here is inspired by an entrance to the Line 1 platform at Spadina station, which indeed used to be someone's house, and was apparently enough of a significant building that they just... built a subway entrance directly into it. It's a weird, cool building that I love a lot, and I'm pretty sure the upper portion of the building is still a habitable home. Wacky!

Watched all three Jumanji films. (I realized I barely remembered the original film, but I love Robin Williams). And yeah Niiigeell. I enjoyed Rhys more than Dwayne Jonson and Karen Gillian (bad Whovian 😂😅)
