Poesiering
Dit verhaal verscheen eerder op Shortreads_.
Amours portent mon cuer a mon ami.
Ja. Posy, posie of poesie in oud-Engels.
Mijn favoriet: ‘Of earthli joyse thou art my choys’. En bij andere ringen zou ik de gever minstens wantrouwen: ‘You never knew a heart more true’ en ‘As God decreed soe wee agreed’, of keihard wegrennen: ‘Denial is Death’.

Lost in the Fun Zone by Leif Goldberg
vimeo
I think Leif Goldberg made Lost in the Fun Zone using automatic writing—after absorbing all art of the twentieth century and comics from the past forty years. How else do you get Dubuffet, synthetic cubism, Garfield, Italian Futurism, Luis Buñuel, and Gary Panter in a story about two cats traveling a digressive and banal path to nowhere? It's boldly weird. Goldberg has hijacked the comics form, for its benefit and ours.
