Summary- Y/N meets Matt's brothers for the first time and they fight over who she likes more

Me and Matt had been dating for around 3 weeks, and ever since we got together he had been dying for me to meet his brothers. I had been putting it off for a while, I just didn't want to do something wrong or didn't want to face them not liking me. But after a while Matt had persuaded me to finally meet his triplet brothers.

Matt had come to my apartment to pick me up and we were in the car driving back to his house that he shared with his brothers. I was so nervous. Matt's hand was stuck to my thigh as some sort of quiet comfort. I started doing some breathing exercises to calm my nerves. In and out, in and out. Matt's ears pricked up to my morse code. He turned his head to look in my direction, his eyes flickered back to the road frequently.

"Y/N, babe, you don't have to be so nervous." Matt chuckled.

"I just want to make a good impression that's all." I looked at him and smiled.

"You know what all of these nerves mean?" matt speaks up. I shrug my shoulders. "It means you care baby. And that means the world to me."

Matt's small pep talk had actually made me feel a bit better. The bundle of nerves were still lingering but they weren't as intense anymore. I closed my eyes and tried to relax for the rest of the journey.

I felt the car come to a halt and Matt softly tapped my thigh to indicate that we had arrived. Matt held the car door open for me and guided me to their front door. Matt unlocked the door and held it open for me to enter first. I kicked my shoes off and put them to the side.

"Were here!" Matt called out. I heard a few shouted whispers from up the stairs. Matt placed his hand on my lower back and we started walking up the stairs. I was greeted with two smiling, similar faced people.

"Hi! I'm Nick. You must be the famous Y/N Matt has been running our ears off about?"

"Yeah that's me. It's nice to finally meet you!" I answered. I looked over at the other person, his gaze lingered at the floor. "You must be Chris?" I I broke the silence. He lifted his head and locked eyes with mine.

"Oh yeah, that's me!" He smiled.

"Should we move this conversation to the living room? Because if I stand on these stairs for any longer I might fall down." matt announced. I laughed quietly.

"Oh-shit, forgot about you there Matt." Chris joked.

Matt still had his hand placed on my back, he tapped softly and I moved up the stairs into the living room.

"Haha asshole." Matt said sarcastically.

We settled nicely on the couch, the room was filled with chatter and chuckles. I was talking about my home life, family, my hobbies my childhood. They all listened so well, I had never felt so heard before. They were extremely patient with me while i would tell stories. I felt appreciated. We moved from topic to topic. We had found ourselves where Nick and Chris were telling stories of Matt when he was younger. I would chuckle quietly to their storytelling skills. matt tried to keep a straight face while they would be talking but he would accidentally let a few laughs escape.

The whole time we were talking Matt would have his arm around my shoulders or his hands slipping onto the dips of my hips. He had never been this touchy before. I liked this side of him. Who knew that he would become a new type of protective?

We had found ourselves on a topic of whether i liked Chris or Nick better. The truth was that I didn't prefer one to the other, they were both interesting in their own ways. I could never choose.

"Dude she obviously likes me better, she has laughed at every joke I have made so far!" Chris argued.

"That doesn't mean she likes you better. At least I have my own personality, and I don't steal it off my brother." Nick spit back.

I was laughing with Matt while the whole situation unfolded. I looked over at Matt and he was already staring at me. Chris and Nick's argument was still going on in the background.

"I knew they would argue." Matt announced quietly. I just shook my head and laughed.

Both Nick and Chris turned their heads towards me.

"Y/N, who do you like better?" Chris asked.

"I can't choose. i don't prefer one of you to the other. Your both just so different." I answered.

"Guys what she actually means is that she likes me better than both of you guys. I just am at the top of every category, so that means you two are just equals." Matt joked.

"Ooohh, boyfriend Matt has spoken." Nick joked.

Chris and Nick still bickered in the background, I looked over at Matt once more. He seemed proud of himself. He place his hand on my neck and pulled me in to a kiss softly. He will always be my favourite.

This is a bracket to determine which of the many memorable NPCs from across the Professor Layton games are the greatest.

GAMES INCLUDED: Every game except LBMR. Eternal Diva characters are also not included here.

WHAT COUNTS AS AN NPC?: Anyone who doesn't have a puzzle animation. Characters excluded are Layton, Luke, Flora, Clive, Emmy, Randall, Aurora, Des, Espella, Phoenix, Maya, Katrielle, Ernest, Sherl, Hastings, and Emiliana.

WILL THERE BE NOMINATIONS?: Nope! Every NPC will be included.

WHAT ABOUT THE LAYTONMOBILE/MOLENTARY EXPRESS?: No vehicles. Not characters.

WHAT ABOUT THE PUZZLE LADS/LASSES?: I only plan on including characters that we can speak to in-game, so no Puzzle Lads or Lasses. Sorry to the people who like them 😔

WHY IS NAIYA YOUR ICON?: In my opinion, she's one of the more underrated NPCs of the series. I'll probably cycle through some of the ones I have available to me right now.

WHAT CRITERIA SHOULD I VOTE ON?: Whatever makes you happy :)

ARE ALTER EGOS SEPERATE CHARACTERS?: No. For instance, Ratman is not included because his secret identity is in the tournament.

US OR UK NAMES?: I will try to make available as many names for the NPCs as possible! Which includes their Japanese names and as many names in the localizations as I am able to obtain from the wiki and my own sources. I'll probably reliably have the English (both versions where applicable), Japanese, and French names for every character when I do the bracket rounds. The list below however is entirely in English.

A/N- Guys with that last post called 'one month' it took me ages to write in third person so I will go back to first person for now :)

I was so excited for me and Matt's first fall together and so was Matt, it was his favourite season. Me and Matt had been together for around 10 months, they have been the best ten months of my life. Matt was so charming and loving towards me and everything in this relationship was going perfect.

It was officially the first day of fall, the 22nd of September. Matt is his happiest in the fall according to his triplet brothers.

I got woken up to Matt shaking my shoulder gently. My eyelids flutter open and look at Matt. His hair was a little messy, but he looked cute. He had no shirt on, as usual, and was wearing sweatpants hanging dangerously low.

"Good morning baby."

"G'morning." I mumble. I stretch my arms out and groan.

"D'you know what today is?"

"Saturday?" I guess.

"Actually it's Sunday, but it's the first day of fall!"

"Actually!" I point my finger upwards to make fun of Matt. I chuckle.

"Come on! We have a busy day today. I can't wait!" Matt jumps out of bed and heads for the shower. The door shuts temporarily and then opens again and Matt comes to my side of the bed and gives me a quick peck on my forehead. Before Matt re-enters the bathroom he does a small excitable jump. I chuckle to myself and then get out of bed.

I was all ready for the day and I was about to make some coffee for myself. There were quiet patters gradually getting louder coming down the stairs. I turn around and see Matt wearing an unbuttoned flannel with a white long sleeve underneath. He looked really good, and hot.

"You look handsome." Matt didn't answer and kissed me quickly and smiled.

I was wearing a grey sweater with some baggy jeans and Uggs to keep my feet warm.

"Don't make a coffee, we are going to try the new Starbucks drink."

"Really?" I said excitedly. The Starbucks was a short walk down the street next to some town houses.

"Really." Matt answered.

I ran to go grab my bag and purse, and then meet Matt at the door. He laughed at my eagerness. Matt grabbed both of our coats and handed mine to me to put on and Matt put his coat on. I opened the front door and waited for Matt to lock up. Then he took my hand and held it softly and started walking.

We arrived at the local Starbucks and headed indoors. It was lovely and warm, it was all decorated for fall. I could tell that matt was all for it. I ordered a 'Pumpkin Cream Iced Chai Latte', and Matt got a 'Pumpkin Cream Iced Oat Shaken Espresso'. I got my card out to pay but Matt swiped it straight off me.

"Matt." I whined.

"It's fine sweetheart, I got it. It's my treat." He said quickly before paying. He carried my drink over the the table and we sat opposite each other. I took my drink and had a quick sip of it. Matt chuckled at me.

"What?" I asked nervously.

"You're just eager-" Matt looked up at me. "And you have foam around your mouth." He laughed and leaned over the table to wipe it away from my face.

"I didn't realise." I laugh with him. Matt opened a straw, placed it in his drink and took a quick sip.

"That's good." Matt confesses.

"Do you want to try mine and i will try yours?" I said and Matt nodded in agreement. We switched our drinks and had a small taste. I was the first to react. "Ewww, that's so bitter." Matt laughed at my disgusted interraction.

"Yours is nice, but I like mine better."

"I disagree with that, yours is awful and mine is fantastic." i said and quickly switched the drinks back. I took a big gulp of my beverage to get rid of the strong taste in my mouth. "How can you enjoy that?"

"I don't know." matt answered nervously. I shrugged it off and continued drinking.

We both had finished our drinks but we were just talking for ages. Just talking about life, we do this before we go to bed. But we weren't in any rush today. Me and Matt were having conversations about maybe taking our first trip together soon, and we were talking about events coming up for matt and if I wanted to join. I would be joining him everyone of those events. I felt so open and comfortable talking with Matt, we were joking around, and Matt was saying something funny that nick did the other day. I couldn't contain my laughter through the whole story. We were both in fits of giggles.

"Do you wanna head back?"

"No, the day isn't over yet!" Matt confessed.

"What else are we doing then?"

"We are going to have a nice little stroll through the park. If that's okay with you?" Matt asked hesitantly.

"Of course that's okay." I replied.

We headed out of the small Starbucks and walked slowly arm-in-arm down the streets of our quiet town. Me and Matt haven't officially moved in with each other yet, it would be me sleeping over at Matt's and Matt sleeping over at mine. We never really had a conversation about 'living together' even though we kind of already did. But I knew that Matt probably never imagined moving away from his brothers, I just didn't want to upset him. And this would be the perfect time to just ask, it's not like we needed to be anywhere today.

"Matt." I began.

"Yes sweetie."

"I wanna ask you something."

"What is it love?" Matt faces me and gives me a warm smile.

"Do you..-like, wanna get a place together?" Matt thinks. "It's just...-like, we practically already do live together,..but just at each others houses. D'you get what i mean?"

"I do get what you mean,..and, I would love to be in our own home together. It's just..-I d'know about Chris and Nick."

"I totally get that Matt, it was just a question. It doesn't have to be now." I back up my question.

I can see matt's brain thinking, he is hesitant to speak again.

"Sorry, I shouldn't of had Nick and Chris as my first thought of moving out. I actually think it is a perfect idea,..to be honest."

I start blushing, at his thought out words.

"Okay, we can talk about it soon then?"

"Yeah" Matt smiles. "Anything for you." I start to blush even more.

We reach a park and it is around mid-day now. The park is surrounded with beautiful trees full with amber, brown and red leaves. There are some dimly lit rustic street lights down each path. There were small piles of leaves scattered around and we saw small children jump in them. It gave me a warm sense of well-being. I turn towards Matt and he is smiling softly at what is before our eyes. We saw small clusters of friend groups up and down the park enjoying the nice seasonal change.

Me and Matt walked for a few more minutes, still at a slow pace. Until we found a bench to sit on facing away from the local lake. I saw a small plaque in the middle of the back rest. Matt spotted it as well.

"I think when I die I would like a memorial bench, or maybe a tree." Matt says.

"That does represent you Matt, that is a lovely idea." I reply.

We sat in a comfortable silence for a few more minutes. I rubbed my hands together as they were feeling a bit chilly. Matt noticed this. He reached into his pockets and pulled out my gloves. I was a bit shocked and confused on why Matt had them in his coat pocket.

"I knew your hands would get cold eventually." He said.

"You know me so well." I smirked. I placed the gloves onto my cold hands and rubbed them together again. "Much better." I looked over at Matt. I rested my head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around my waist. I felt so safe and secure. We stayed like this for a while, just stuck together.

An elderly couple walked passed, and the old woman looked us. She smiled softly.

"Oh Tim, look." She pointed in our direction. "Isn't that lovely. Just like us when we were young." Matt wasn't seeing any of this, his eyes were closed. He was relaxing. I smiled back at the woman and her husband and they walked on, arm-in-arm.

After a while Matt opened his eyes again. "Do you wanna head back now?"

"Yes please." I answered.

We stood up from the wooden bench and took each others hand and walked to the exit of the park. Me and Matt chattered a little bit on the way home. We were both a bit tired from the walking. I'm surprised Matt is though, he downed a cup of espresso in less than ten minutes. I still can't believe he enjoyed it.

We reached back to Matt's house, and we both already knew that I would be staying the night. Matt lead me to his bedroom and closed the door behind him. We both sat at the edge of the bed.

"Do you want to watch a movie later? Like-... after we eat?"

"i would love that." i lean in and give him a passionate kiss. "thank you for today, it might not have been the most eventful day, but I really enjoyed it." I went in to kiss him again. Matt pulled away.

"I'm glad,-...I also have a small surprise." He smirked. he got up from the bed and went out of the room downstairs. i just waited in anticipation. Matt came back into the bedroom with a box behind his back. "i got this for us, since you were begging for so long." He brought the box in front of him and then placed it onto my lap. I opened the box quickly and tore away the tissue paper carefully. Matt had bought us matching Hello Kitty pajamas.

"Oh Matt! thank you so much!" I put the box to the side, stood up and gave Matt another kiss.

"We can wear those tonight when we watch the movie."

"Yes!!" I agree. "Can we put them on now?" I ask.

"Of course, I didn't buy them to just stay in the box and look pretty." he joked.

I smiled and took my pyjamas and gave Matt his. They were Halloween themed and were bright orange. I loved them. I went to the corner of the bedroom and started changing. I felt eyes on me. I turned around and saw Matt smirking at me.

"See something you like?" I joke.

"Very much." he answers.

"Creep." I say and turn back around. When I finished changing I picked up my day clothes, folded them and placed them on the floor next to Matt's bed. I saw Matt had finished changing as well.

"Oh Matt! You look so cuddly!" I practically ran over to him and gave him a warm hug.

"Do you just want to cuddle until we feel hungry?" Matt suggests.

"Yes." We both climb into bed and hold each other in an embrace. We are facing one another and just smiling. I lean in and kiss Matt sweetly. Matt deepens the kiss, holds my waist and brings me closer to him under the covers.

After a while of kissing and cuddling, we were interrupted by a pair.

"Get a room." Chris surprises us.

"Technically we are in a room, and you're intruding." Matt spits back.

"Whatever, we want food. Can you drive us?" Chris asks.

"Are you hungry Y/N?" Matt says to me.

"Pretty hungry." I answer.

"Okay, lets go to Mcdonalds then." Matt says and gets out of bed.

The drive was nice, other than Nick and Chris fighting on what song to play. It was pretty funny anyway. That's what i get for sitting in the passenger seat instead of Chris.

We got our Mcdonalds and ate it in the car before Matt drove us back home.

We all got inside, Nick and Chris went straight to their rooms. matt faced me.

"Do you wanna watch a movie now?" he suggests.

"Of course." I accept.

I go and get a big blanket to share from Matt's room, and Matt gets some sweet treats from the pantry and fridge. I go to sit on the couch and Matt brings all of the snacks over.

"What a feast." I joke.

"What movie do you wanna watch?"

"Can we finish watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, and 2?" I suggest.

"Sure."

Me and Matt had been watching the Harry potter franchise together for the first time, and we both were really getting into it and enjoying it. I have always enjoyed fantasy, I was the one who got Matt into it.

We snuggled together and Matt put on part 1, I opened a bag of popcorn and rested my head on Matt's shoulder once more.

This was truly the best way to start autumn, and I am so happy that I got to have the best first fall with Matt.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Far From Home (Jon Watts, 2019) Cast: Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Samuel L. Screenplay: Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers. Cinematography: Matthew J. Lloyd. Production design: Claude Paré. Film editing: Leigh Folsom Boyd, Dan Lebental. Music: Michael Giacchino. Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are fine actors, but neither of them made the role of Spider-Man their own the way Tom Holland has done. His training as a dancer helped him get the moves right for the stunts as Spider-Man, and he's the right height (five-eight) and age (early 20s) to keep him credible as the adolescent Peter Parker. Beyond that, he's a gifted actor, more than holding his own in scenes with veterans like Samuel L. Jackson and Jake Gyllenhaal. It's hard to know what Marvel Studios will do when Holland eventually ages out of the role. He's the main reason I liked Spider-Man: Far From Home much more than the usual superhero movie. He makes the slam-bang special effects tolerable. It helps, too, that he's up against one of the more engaging villains in the genre, Gyllenhaal's Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio. Gyllenhaal -- who was once considered for the role of the webslinger in Spider-Man 2 (Sam Raimi, 2004) when Maguire was sidelined -- makes the seduction of Peter Parker into handing over the gizmo that gives him power credible, and then does a fine job of unveiling Beck's bad side. But mostly it's Holland's ability to sustain Peter's boyish gullibility, and his reluctance to give up his teenage life (and his pursuit of Zendaya's MJ) to become one of the Avengers, that brings the implausible superhero to life. The screenplay is efficient and sometimes witty, often at the expense of Peter, who gushes "Oh, I love Led Zeppelin!" when Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) plays a track by AC/DC and who gets zinged by Nick Fury (Jackson) with "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Stark said you wouldn't get that because it's not a Star Wars reference."

Duncan & Lizzie's Wedding

Part I- Guests Arrival

Today is the day! Royals and Nobles from all over gathered too morning at the Willow Cathedral in Willow Creek to witness the wedding of Crown Prince Duncan Norton to childhood sweetheart, Princess Elizabeth De La Cru!

Among some of the first to arrive were the Clovervale Family- Duke Soren and Princess Carolin, Liz's Aunt and Uncle, and their children, Lady Brianne and Viscount Beckham Landgraab.

Next was Duke Finnegan and Duchess Tess Bates of Parkshore, Duncan's Aunt and Uncle, as well as Duncan's maternal grandmother, The Dowager Duchess Gabriella, and Duncan's cousin, Marquess Silas Bates.

Marquess Francisco and Prince Ygor Castille of Cedarworth arrived next with their triplets, Princess Remy, Prince Rhys, and Princess Ruby.

And not long after them came Princess Yelena and Duke Jacob Riordan of Grandwoods with twin daughters, Lady Anya and Lady Aurora.

The Imperial family arrived all together (minus Princess Rosalind who is a bridesmaid and will arrive later), lead by the Tsarina Ekaterina and Prince Matthew, and followed by Crown Princess Ophelia, the Dowager Tsarina Nadia, and Prince Benedict Ivanov with his date, Miss Taylor Prescott.

Prince Yuri and Countess Kacie Ivanov of Thornleigh arrived next with daughter Princess Alexandria, and son Prince Grant with his date Crown Princess Claude Pelletier.

Then Princess Natasha and Duke Jamie Arrington of Eastmeadow and their children, Lady Josephine, Marquess Theodore, and Earl Christopher Arrington.

Then it was the blended Arnsey Family- Prince Nickolai and Duchess Megan Ivanov, with Nick's daughter Princess Victoria and her husband Lord Louis Yang, and Megan's daughter, Miss Wren Hathaway.

Princess Adriana and Major Samson Glenn of Fielmont with their twins Lady Charlette and Earl Cosimo.

Princess Francesca and Duchess Olive Colona arrived next, without baby Lady Contessina, who stayed home with nanny.

Then came the rest of the Royal Newcrest Family- King Cesare and Queen Misha Colona, Princess Lucrezia and fiance Mr. Leo Rose, Princess Emilia and her date Mr. Gabriel Micheletti, and finally Crown Prince Dante.

The last of our notably named guests were the Hartwards Family- Princess Maria and Duchess Encarna Dias, and eldest daughter Miss Yue Dias. Joining her was Lord René Yang, who is attending as her younger sister's date, Miss Feng Mian Dias, who is a bridesmaid and will be arriving later.

I’m Still Here will feature never before publicly shown archival content of Broadway productions from the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive, shown exclusively for this occasion, including Savion Glover, Jimmy Tate, Choclattjared and Raymond King in Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk, Meryl Streep, Marcia Gay Harden and Larry Pine in The Seagull, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Robin de Jesús, Christopher Jackson, Karen Olivo, Andréa Burns, Janet Dacal, Eliseo Román, Seth Stewart in In The Heights, Glenn Close in Sunset Boulevard, and even more to be announced. THE SEVENTH DAY - Review

SYNOPSIS: Many years after a tragic event. Father Peter has become a renowned exorcist in the Catholic Church. He is paired up with Father Daniel, who is just returned from his studies in Rome. On his first day in the field, Peter plunges him deep into the battle with hell on earth. When they become involved with the case of a boy accused of murdering his entire family, Daniel is forced to take the lead but the lines between good and evil blur and their own demons emerge.

REVIEW: Too often genre films dealing with the Catholic ritual of exorcism can feel stale, especially when considered against the classic film of all time, “The Exorcist.” Occasionally a film comes along offering a fresh perspective that is engaging and entertaining. Filmmaker Justin P. Lange’s new film THE SEVENTH DAY mixes in themes from a buddy picture with a urban crime drama to tell this tale of modern day exorcism.

What better place to set a film about this very Catholic ritual than the Catholic area of New Orleans, where the boroughs are called parishes. Once Father Peter is introduced to Father Daniel they roll out into the city where Peter tells Daniel he needs to change his clothes because he looks like a priest. Daniel’s first test is among the homeless population of New Orleans. When Daniel is surprised by the situation Peter steps in and saves the day. From then on, the seasoned veteran of the demonic wars takes a backseat and lets Daniel get his hands dirty, or bloody, whatever the situation. And that sets the tone for the film. Daniel is more the “rookie,” fresh from the academy. He has his book smarts, but does he have the conviction, the faith, to draw his holy water and crucifix and do what is required to send these demons back to hell.

Veterna actor Keith David and Stephen Lang are a solid addition to the cast, but Guy Pearce and Vadhir Derbez are in the spotlight. Pearce plays the grizzled street veteran. Peter, to Vadhir Derbez’s book smart Daniel. Pearce does an excellent job of bringing gravitas and grit to the role. At times he presents a “devil-may-care” element to his part that he can quickly turn into an intensity required for the situation. I enjoyed Derbez’s performance. He emulates this bookish boy who is struggling with his faith. You can see it in his face as he performs these rituals, there is an internal struggle going on within. Rounding out the cast is actor Tristan Riggs who plays the young Nicholas Miller, the boy accused of murdering his family and demonically possessed. His performance goes from the innocent child caught up in the confusion and chaos of these murders, to the extreme physical violence of a child possessed by demons.

Lange does an excellent job of crafting a hybrid tale that is engaging, visually compelling, and has just the right amount of scares. He creates some great scenes where the two priests have conversations about their experiences, faith, religion, and the presence of evil in the world. For all the pomp and circumstance of the Catholic Church it never becomes overbearing and offers the viewer something to ponder. I appreciated the way he infused action into some of the more subtler moments of the story, as well as the violentness of the exorcisms. It’s never gratuitous. Working with his actors Lange creates this feeling where you believe these priests are warriors for god.

Justin P. Lange’s THE SEVENTH DAY is a slightly different take on the exorcism genre film. He gets to work with a solid cast of veteran actors, as well as some young and talented performers. There is some thought provoking material, a few twists and surprises, and the solid effects and production values make for an entertaining and thrilling view. Also, if you haven’t seen Lange’s first feature, “Dark,” I highly recommend it. It's currently streaming on Amazon Video.
