Last night I went to Newport, RI to see Joan Baez give a book talk / signing for her new collection of poetry "When You See My Mother, Ask Her To Dance.” After the reading I went and got my book signed and when I met her again, I made sure to introduce myself this time. As I'm turning around to walk away I hear "John...John" I turn to her and she says to me, "You wouldn't happen to be Irish?" I was wearing this tweed hat..."because you look so fucking Irish." *swoon*
