a group of guys came into the store i work at. they each had matching lanyards. i asked if there was a show going on, and they said yeah, they just got done playing at a pretty decently sized venue nearby. i chat with them a bit. metalcore band. they buy a shit ton and pay separately, each of them tipping me the entirety of their change. ok

antonio meeting luna’s dad went very well. luna is asking when he’ll let her meet his family. antonio decided it was time to talk about his family issues. he shares with luna about a childhood memory; a five year old antonio was sitting on his front stoop when his dad, lorenzo, unaware he was sitting there was approached by a business associate. they began arguing over something pursingingly about money from some of the words he could hear. after arguing for a while lorenzo pulls out a knife and stabs the man. antonio saw the whole thing happen but his dad never found out. antonio knows his dad is involved in organized crime and the drug business. he doesn’t know exactly the details but as he gets older he understands more things. no one owns that many fancy suits by owning a bar, the house is always filled with men dressed in those same suits. he always thought these men cared and respected his father but he’s starting to think maybe that’s because they fear him.

his dad always talks about him wanting antonio to join the family business and he knows it’s not just working at the bar. antonio hopes to never be like his father, he wants to be a successful football player and not fall into illegal activity.

luna lends comfort to antonio and thanks him for sharing such a personal memory with her, something that could put a man away in prison. “i love you” antonio says to her. “i love you too” luna says to him. antonio truly cares so much about her and trusts her to keep this secret for him.

That includes Gladiator 2, Beetlejuice 2 to R-rated comic book offerings: Deadpool 3, #Joker: Folie à Deux, Dune 3, Spiderman 4. Now, probably two of the ACTUAL WORST STUDIOS, Warner Bros Discovery and Paramount Pictures are planning to shit on two more classics, using tokenization and likely, more Queered subject matter. Barris has only written romcoms and BLACK-ISH, a show I was never tempted to watch, even before realizing how many of the actors are also Queer. I honestly could care less about a Wizard of Oz remake, given it's been done to death and THE WIZ still lives.

But It's A Wonderful Life doesn't need a shitty, token remake using whatever Flavor-of-the-month, that Hollywood wants to push. There are PLENTY of Black Christmas films and a growing number are already classics in the community. Why rip off A Wonderful Life, AND DELIBERATELY PISS OFF FANS OF THE CLASSIC, SUCH AS MYSELF?

Hollywood is tired, mobbed out, compromised, and filled with creatively empty and empty-headed, Wall Street money men, who really need to stop running the Film Industry into the ground, with their endless hubris, greed and 1% ideologies.

I Really Like Nathaniel because the guy embodies Hope and Positivity without forcing it down the gullets of everyone around him.

He looks like he'd be a pleasant individual to actually be around at 7 am. Even before his coffee. [ Sera should be too, she doesn't seem like an unbearable person to be around in La Matinée ( the Morning ) . But still, she is alot grumpier than her other half. ]

Love the way you drew Nate here! such a clean style and serious face :> He's my favorite little quadfocal guy... friendly, polite, and a good conversationalist! You're absolutely right, he's one of the easiest people to get along with. It's almost like he knows exactly what to say to people.

Sera isn't grumpy so much as she is disinterested and dismissive. She heads to work without bothering to make small talk besides a basic "Hello." if she passes you by. Not the worst outcome, really, if silence doesn't bother you.

I've just discovered this YouTube channel called "The Sims Lore", and recently they uploaded a short video essay on the defunct early 2000's MMO "The Sims Online". Apparently, the early Sims games were more adult than they are now. I wonder if there are any simmers on here who miss that.
