in which matt’s helped y/n through her chronic illness for years, but one night, it all becomes too much.
warnings; chronic illness (lupus), hospitals + hospitalization, worried matt rempe
When you were 14, you sat in the sterile doctor's office, your hands trembling slightly as you waited for test results. You had been feeling off for months—fatigue, joint pain, strange rashes—and you knew something was wrong, but hearing the words "You have lupus" felt like the ground was pulled from beneath you. Your chest tightened as the doctor explained the diagnosis, your mind racing with questions you didn’t know how to ask. All you could think about was how this would affect your life, your schooling, and the people you loved. You felt numb, unable to process it all at once.
When you were 19, you had met Matt during an off-season charity event. You were volunteering at an animal shelter, and hadn’t expected much from the night, just another hockey fundraiser with a few familiar, but many unfamiliar faces. But when you were introduced to Matt, something clicked. He was easygoing, with a quiet charm that drew you in right away. You guys spent the evening talking, first about hockey, then about everything else. By the end of the night, you were laughing like old friends. You hadn't thought much of it at first, but as time went on, your paths kept crossing, and it became clear that meeting Matt wasn’t just a coincidence—it was the start of something that changed your life.
Telling Matt about your chronic illness had been one of the hardest things you ever did. You remembered the night clearly, sitting across from him with your hands clenched tightly in your lap. Your heart pounded as you struggled to find the right words, terrified of how he might react, “I have lupus.” you finally said, your voice barely above a whisper. You couldn’t bring yourself to look at him, afraid of seeing pity or disappointment in his eyes. But instead of pulling away, Matt gently reached for your hand, his quiet reassurance easing some of the weight you’d been carrying alone for so long.
Ever since then, he’d been the absolute sweetest boyfriend — always taking care of you when things got rough, and always reassuring you about your strength and resilience. It had even gotten to the point where Matt had offered to take games and practices off, but you always told him no. Despite his reluctance, he always listened to you.
While you had been feeling okay over the past couple of weeks, today was one of those days.
It had been one of those mornings where you knew, as soon as you opened your eyes, that it was going to be a rough day. Your body ached in ways that made it hard to move, and a low fever had settled in overnight, leaving you feeling drained. You groaned softly, rolling over and catching a glimpse of yourself in the mirror— the familiar butterfly-shaped rash had returned, bright across your cheeks.
Matt wasn’t in bed next to you. You cursed to yourself as you realized the time, noting that he was at morning practice. You groaned, tears welling up in your eyes at the pain you were in. You tried to fight through it and get out of bed, but the pain was too much. You felt helpless. With the strength you did have, you reached out to grab your phone off of the nightstand next to you, sending a quick text to Matt.
one of those days. will you be home soon?
You waited anxiously for Matt’s reply, but didn’t have to wait long.
leaving the arena now. be home soon, my love.
On the other end of the phone, Matt could sense something was wrong. Even when you were dealing with a flare up, you were as independent as could be. You hated asking for help, because it made you feel like you were a burden. The fact that you texted him was a miracle in itself.
When he got home, he set his gear down in the garage and made his way up the stairs to your room as quickly as he could. Within minutes, he was sitting beside you on the bed, concern etched on his face. “How are you feeling?” he asked gently, brushing a hand across your forehead to check for a fever. You were burning up.
“Better now that you’re here,” you joked, cracking a small smile, but Matt could see right through it. He smiled at you sadly, climbing into bed next to you. He could see the exhaustion in your eyes. Whenever you went through a flare up, you felt as though you could sleep for days on end.
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” he rolled his eyes, settling down under the blankets as you gently placed your head on his shoulder, “close your eyes, love, and just rest. I’ll be here when you wake up.”
So you did.
Matt stayed close all day, making sure you stayed hydrated when you woke up, adjusting the pillows when you needed more comfort, and even gently applying cool compresses to your face when the heat of your fever became unbearable. Every time you tried to apologize or downplay your discomfort, he stopped you with a quiet, reassuring smile, “I’ve got you,” he’d say, his voice calm and steady.
By the time bedtime came around, you were still achy, but the fever had gone down a little, and the rash had begun to fade. Matt had barely left your side, keeping the TV on low and talking to you softly, filling the silence with easy conversation to distract you from the pain. As the two of you lay in bed that night, Matt’s arm draped protectively over you, and you felt a deep sense of comfort. You hated feeling weak, but with Matt, it never felt like you had to fight alone.
As you fluttered off to sleep, Matt pressed a soft kiss to your forehead. He loved it when you slept — you were so extremely beautiful, and he knew that sleeping took the pain away for a brief moment of time. At the same time, however, he couldn’t help but worry. It had been a long time since he’d seen a flare up this bad, but you had gotten through it. That gave him just enough solace to fall asleep next to you after hours of worrying as you slept, his arm still draped gently over your body.
Within minutes of his eyes closing, Matt stirred in his sleep, feeling you shift beside him. He was exhausted, having stayed by your side all day, but he’d never leave you when you were having such a rough time with your illness. He had only just fallen asleep when he felt a light tug on his arm.
“Matt…” your voice was faint, barely a whisper in the dark room, but there was an unmistakable tremor in it that shot adrenaline through him.
He blinked his eyes open and sat up quickly, heart already pounding. “Hey, what’s wrong?” he asked, trying to keep his voice steady, even though dread immediately settled in his chest.
You looked at him, your face pale and clammy, beads of sweat dotting your forehead. You swallowed hard, struggling to speak. “I… I don’t feel right. It’s never been this bad before. I think… I think I should go to the hospital.”
Matt’s stomach dropped. The words hit him like a punch, and suddenly, he was wide awake, fear gnawing at him. He kept his face calm, though—he had to. If you saw how scared he was, it would only make you panic.
“Okay,” he said gently, his voice even though his mind was racing. “Let’s get you there. Can you sit up?”
You nodded weakly, but as you tried to move, you winced in pain, and Matt immediately reached over, helping you. His hands were steady, though inside, his chest felt like it was caving in. You were never the type to admit that you needed help, and hearing you say that you wanted to go to the hospital made his heart twist in his chest.
Once you were sitting up, Matt quickly grabbed a sweatshirt for you, carefully sliding it over your shoulders before easing your legs over the side of the bed. “I’ve got you,” he murmured, his hands never leaving you as he helped you stand.
Every second felt like it stretched on forever. In his mind, he was already imagining the worst—what if something was really wrong? What if you were in more pain than you let on? But outwardly, he stayed calm, focusing on the next step. He needed to get you to the hospital, and everything else could wait.
Once the two of you were in the car, Matt kept glancing over at you, his hand gripping the wheel tighter than necessary. “You’re doing great,” he said softly, hoping the words would bring you some comfort, though the knot in his stomach tightened every time you shifted uncomfortably in her seat.
“It hurts,” you cried out, your voice shaky as you gripped your stomach and leaned forward to rest your head on the dashboard. Matt flinched at the pain in your voice, tears gathering in his eyes, but he couldn’t let them spill.
“I know, baby, I know. We’re almost there, just hold on.”
The drive felt like it took forever, every red light adding another layer to Matt’s mounting anxiety. But he didn’t rush. The last thing you needed was a reckless driver on top of everything else.
When you finally arrived at the hospital, Matt helped you out of the car, wrapping his arm securely around your waist as you guys made your way inside. The bright lights and sterile smell of the hospital hit him hard, but he kept his focus on you, his heart aching at how much pain you seemed to be in.
As Matt checked in, you leaned heavily against him, your head resting on his shoulder. You hadn’t said much since the car ride, and Matt’s worry spiked even higher.
The nurse took both of you to a room, and once you were settled on the hospital bed, Matt pulled a chair close, refusing to leave your side. The doctors came in, asking you questions. Although you were obviously in tremendous pain, the doctors wouldn’t let up and get you help. But all Matt could do was watch, his hands clenched together in his lap, his mind screaming for answers.
When the doctors left to run tests, Matt finally let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. He took your hand, squeezing it gently. “You’re gonna be okay, alright? They’ll figure out what’s going on.”
You gave him a small, tired nod, your eyes glassy from pain and exhaustion. “Thanks for staying calm,” you whispered, your voice weak but filled with gratitude.
Matt forced a smile, leaning down to kiss your forehead. “Anything for you.” But inside, his heart was racing, every second dragging on painfully as he waited for some kind of news. He kept stroking your hand, praying silently that everything would be okay, all while forcing his expression to stay calm.
For your sake, he would hold it together. But the second you were out of this hospital, he’d let all his fear and worry flood out—just not yet. Not until you were okay.
Within minutes, you had passed out from exhaustion. The doctors moved quickly around you. Matt stood by your side, holding your hand, his thumb brushing over your knuckles in an attempt to soothe both you and himself. Although you were asleep, he could feel the tension in your grip, the way you were holding on to him like he was your anchor in a storm.
“I’m right here,” he whispered softly, leaning closer to you. “You’re going to be okay. I’m not going anywhere.”
But even as he said it, the fear gnawed at him. What if you weren’t okay? What if this time was worse than before?
The doctors were speaking in low tones, their words just out of reach, and Matt’s stomach churned as he tried to make sense of it all. He wanted to demand answers, to make them tell him what was going on, but he couldn’t leave you. He needed to stay with you, to keep you calm, even as his own fear threatened to overwhelm him.
After what felt like an eternity, the doctor approached, her expression serious but not alarming. Matt held his breath.
“We’re going to admit Y/N for observation,” the doctor explained. “Her symptoms are concerning, but we’re taking all the necessary steps to stabilize her. We’ll get her comfortable and monitor her closely.”
Matt nodded, swallowing hard. “Is she going to be okay?”
The doctor offered a small, reassuring smile. “We’re doing everything we can. She’s in good hands, Mr. Rempe.”
Matt thanked her, but his focus was already back on you. You were still holding his hand, your grip weak but steady, your eyes still closed as they wheeled you toward a permanent room. His chest tightened again, but he forced himself to stay composed, even though he was falling apart inside.
Once you were in the room, Matt sat down beside your bed, his hand still clutching yours. The room was quiet, the beeping of machines the only sound breaking the silence. Your breathing had calmed slightly, but you looked so pale, so fragile, that it nearly broke him.
He leaned forward, resting his forehead on your joined hands, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’m here. You’re going to get through this, okay? You’re stronger than this. I know you are.”
And even though he was terrified, even though the fear still clawed at him, Matt knew he’d stay with you through it all. No matter how scared he was, no matter how hard it got, he wouldn’t leave your side.
You were everything to him, and he’d do whatever it took to make sure you were okay. Even if that meant staying up all night, fighting sleep when his eyes would flutter shut. The clock struck 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, and so on, but the boy refused to sleep, his tired eyes glancing over to you in concern more times than he could count. Time moved slowly, but that didn’t matter to Matt.
The next morning, around 9:00, sunlight filtered through the thin curtains of the hospital room, casting a soft glow across the bed. You blinked awake slowly, the familiar beeping of machines and the sterile hospital scent filling your senses. As you adjusted to the light, your eyes immediately found Matt.
He was still in the same chair beside your bed, his posture tense but upright. His hand was still holding yours, his grip firm even though he looked utterly exhausted. Dark circles shadowed his eyes, and it was clear he hadn’t slept at all. His face was slightly scruffy, and his hair was messy from running his hands through it all night, but his gaze was focused entirely on you, concern etched deeply into his features.
“Matt?” your voice came out raspy, your throat dry from a night of fitful sleep. You gave his hand a gentle squeeze, trying to pull his attention back from wherever his thoughts had drifted.
His eyes snapped to yours, relief flooding his expression as soon as he saw you were awake. He immediately leaned forward, his tired features softening. “Hey,” he whispered, his voice thick with fatigue. “You’re awake.”
You nodded slowly, your body still heavy with exhaustion, but you could already feel the difference. You felt better—weak, but a little better, “You stayed up all night?” you asked softly, your heart aching at the sight of him so worn out, knowing he had been up watching over you.
Matt gave you a tired smile, but his eyes were filled with love and relief. “Yeah,” he admitted, his voice gentle, “I didn’t want to sleep in case you needed me.”
You frowned, your heart swelling with love for him, but also a hint of guilt creeping in. “Matt, you didn’t have to do that. You need rest too.”
He shook his head quickly, his thumb brushing gently over the back of your hand. “I’m fine. I wanted to be here. The only thing that matters is you.”
The emotion in his voice made your chest tighten, and you felt tears prick your eyes as you looked at him. You knew he was tired, that he had been running on pure adrenaline and fear since the two of you had arrived at the hospital, but there he was, still sitting by your side, refusing to leave.
“I don’t know what I’d do without you,” you whispered, your voice breaking slightly.
Matt leaned forward, his free hand brushing a stray tear from your cheek. “You won’t ever have to find out,” he said softly, his voice filled with quiet conviction. “I’m not going anywhere, Y/N. I’m always going to be here for you. No matter how hard things get.”
Your throat tightened, and you couldn’t stop the tears that welled up in your eyes. “I hate that you’re worrying so much,” you whispered. “I hate that you have to deal with this because of me.”
Matt’s expression softened, and he shifted in his chair, leaning in closer to you. “You’re not a burden, Y/N. Not even close. I’d do this a thousand times over if it meant being here for you. You’re everything to me.”
The sincerity in his words made your heart swell, and you couldn’t hold back the tears anymore. You let them fall silently, grateful for his unwavering support, his love that never faltered even when things got tough. You squeezed his hand tightly, wanting him to know how much he meant to you, how much his presence had kept you grounded through everything.
“I love you,” you whispered, your voice barely audible, but the words filled with all the emotion you couldn’t fully express.
Matt’s face softened even more, and he leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. “I love you too,” he murmured, his lips lingering against your skin for a moment before he pulled back to meet your eyes. “More than anything.”
You stayed like that for a while, the room filled with a quiet peace as you held onto each other. You could feel the weight of everything—your illness, the hospital, the fear—start to lift, replaced by the warmth and comfort of Matt’s love. He had been your rock through it all, never wavering, never leaving your side.
“You should rest now,” you whispered softly, your hand still holding onto his. “You’ve done so much for me. Let me take care of you for a little bit.”
Matt chuckled softly, the sound warm and soothing despite his exhaustion. “Maybe in a little while,” he said with a tired smile. “But right now, I just want to be with you.”
You smiled up at him, your heart full. “You’re the best,” you whispered, your voice filled with affection.
Matt gave you a soft smile, his eyes filled with nothing but love. “Yeah,” he said quietly, brushing a thumb gently over your knuckles, “I know.”
You chuckled softly, an eye roll quickly following. But as the morning light filled the room, the two of you stayed there, wrapped in the quiet comfort of each other’s presence, knowing that together, you could face whatever came next.
That was until you checked the time, however. You groaned, and Matt’s head shot up, his brows furrowing as he looked over at you to figure out what was wrong, “Matthew Rempe! What happened to morning practice?”
And that was the first time he had left your side.

RYAN “LITTLE SPOON” LINDGREN
"forehead kisses" (from this prompt list)
after roadies. you would stay up, if ryan was coming in late, to wait up for him, unable to sleep knowing he would be there soon.
so, you parked yourself on the couch, fuzzy blanket sprawled around you, and repeats of old sitcoms played you weren't really paying attention because all you could think about was having ryan home.
your phone rang startling you from your thoughts, "hello?"
"hi." a smile instantly found itself on your face at the sound of his voice.
"are you almost home?" you asked.
"why don't you come open the door and find out?" you dropped your phone and rushed to answer the door. you opened the door and let out a relieved sigh.
you instantly wrapped your arms around him, melting into his arms. he wrapped his arms around you, holding you so close, there was no space in between you.
"i missed you."
"i missed you, too." you hummed, pulling away so you could examine the bruise forming on his jaw.
"he had it coming, " was all ryan said.
"oh, did he?" you raised a brow.
"yeah. chirping and taunting." he tried to shrug it off.
you signed, "did you put arnica on it, at least? "
"yeah." he nodded.
"see? aren't you glad I made you pack it?"
"so glad my girlfriend is smarter than me." he rolled his eyes.
"and don't you forget it, lindgren." you pushed a finger into his chest.
"all right, can we do this in the morning? i'm really tired." he yawned.
you smiled, "come on, 55. let's go to bed." you reached for his hand and walked towards the bathroom.
after brushing your teeth side by side, you climbed into bed. you first, then ryan after so. he wrapped every limb around you, forcing you to be the big spoon.
you smiled, running your fingers through his hair, "i love you." he mumbled.
"i love you, too." he leaned down and kissed his forehead.

You took a deep breath, staring at your reflection in the mirror. Eyes alighted with fresh mascara and cheeks adorned with blush; you were ready for the night. You knew what was coming, yet the nerves still boiled inside your belly. Matt was nothing but courteous toward you, never pressuring you into anything. He promised he wouldn’t ask until you brought it up.
What is “it” one may ask? Sex.
You had never planned to end up a twenty-old-virgin, yet here you are.
It’s not for the lack of opportunities, not in the slightest. Sure, you’ve had the offers of hookups or one night stands with random men from the bar, but that just wasn’t your style. You weren’t holding out for marriage, per se, but you did prefer to wait until you felt it was the right time. In all honestly, it started to feel like that day would never come. At least, until you met Matt.
You had met Matt after securing a position on the Ranger’s media team, inevitably catching the eye of the 6’8 hockey player. His once confident demeanor was dwindled down to a blubbering mess the second you talked to him. Poor boy, don’t judge his size and skill on the ice, he was still just a kid who was head over heels for a girl.
Once he finally mustered up the courage to ask you out, it only progressed from there. You could hardly keep your hands off each other, taking to exploring other aspects of one another’s bodies. The first time things got a little too heated, you managed to break away and explain things to Matt. He clung to your every word, noticing the way you anxiously fiddled with your fingers.
Being the respectful guy that he is, he nodded understandingly, reassuring you that it was okay. He even pinky promised you that whenever you decided to go all the way, he would make it the most romantic experience you could dream of. And, he definitely tried his best.
You walked into his apartment on that clear Thursday night, only to be met with candles, all of your favorite scent, lit around almost every room in the place. Your eyes widened at the effort he clearly put in for tonight, not truly expecting it.
You turned to face your boyfriend, who stood biting his lip nervously, “Matty..” You cooed.
He walked up to you, wrapping his arms around your waist, “I promised you I’d make it special.” He quirked his head to side amusingly, “You know I can’t break a pinky promise.”
You smiled up at him, finally being able to take in his attire. His soft grey hoodie hung loosely over the black sweatpants that adorned his muscular legs. Matt’s hair was tousled, clear evidence of his hands carding through the brunette locks in his worried state. You could practically feel your heat melting with the warm drips of love that filled every fiber of your being.
His eyes raked down your body, adam’s apple bobbing roughly as his gaze lingered on your breasts a tad longer than considered polite. The rise and fall of your chest began to increase as his hands trailed under your shirt. Matt’s thumbs rubbed soothing circles against your bare sides.
“We don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to, baby.”
His reassurance brought an extra blanket of comfort, but also even more solidity that he was the right one.
You shook your head lightly, “No, I want to. I want to do this with you.” You tilted your head up more, now fully looking him in the eyes, “I trust you, Matty.”
He leaned down, taking your lips into a soft kiss. Although it was gentle and sweet, it conveyed how much care Matt had for you. All of the unspeakable things and unsaid words were passed through this simple kiss.
Your hands moved to grip his biceps as his tongue slipped delicately into your mouth. His hands pulled your hips closer to his, a small gasp leaving your mouth as his hardening bulge pressed into your soft tummy. He took the opportunity to lick at your teeth, a low groan leaving his chest. Matt finally pulled away, eliciting a whine of protest on your end.
He chuckled lovingly, “Don’t worry, baby. Just wanna take you to the bedroom first.”
You nodded, swallowing nervously. Matt intertwined your hand with his, leading you through the apartment to the main bedroom. Upon entering, you felt your breath hitch in your throat. There were more candles, except this time they were accompanied by slightly crumpled rose petals that had been haphazardly thrown about the bed and hardwood around it.
It rendered you speechless.
Matt’s eyes scanned your face, still not fully convinced everything was good enough for you, “I’m sorry.”
Your eyes darted towards him.
“I-it’s not how I envisioned everything, the roses weren’t in season apparently, and the vanilla candles were all I could find at the store to match. I should have tried harder or-”
You cut him off, “It’s perfect.” You reached for his fingers, pulling his body into yours, “It couldn’t be more perfect.”
A conflicted sigh left his mouth, his bottom lip swollen from the anxious biting. You lifted your arm up to cradle his face, “I promise,” You forced him to lock pinkies with your other hand, “I pinky promise.” You reiterated.
His eyes searched yours for any discomfort or hesitation. You gently pulled his face down into a confirming kiss. You let your hand fall from his face, fingers cascading down the tense muscles of his chest and abdomen. You tugged on the bottom of his hoodie, signaling that you wanted it off.
Matt smirked as he pulled away, “I figured I’d be the one undressing you first.”
You smiled, kicking his foot lightly in retaliation, “Well, since somebody won’t take charge, clearly I’m gonna have to.”
With this, something darkened in Matt’s eyes, his smirk only growing. He quickly discarded the unwanted material, revealing his toned torso. You immediately reached out to run your fingers through the dips and divots of his stomach. His skin was warm against your fingertips, the muscle smooth under your touch. He watched your hands move, stomach tensing as you brushed over sensitive areas.
He grabbed your hand softly, just as you reached the waistband of his sweats. He brought your hand to his lips, placing a kiss on each fingertip, “So” on your thumb, “eager,” on your index finger, then following with the last three, leaving a lingering kiss on your pinky. Your breath picked up as he trailed his kisses down your palm, sucking gently on the pulse point in your wrist.
“Matt,” You sighed, the pressure building between your thighs becoming overbearing. The room’s temperature seemed to rise with each kiss he laid upon your skin, igniting tiny fires in every vein. You could practically feel the desire pounding in your ears.
Matt leaned down further as he stuck his nose into your neck and jaw, burying his face there for a moment. You brought a hand up, tangling it in the hair at the nape of his neck. The locks were soft between your fingers and you tugged lightly. His mouth started to suck teasing kisses and red blotches into the supple skin causing you to deliver a harder tug on his hair. Matt let out a loud groan, and with panic, you let go.
“I’m sorry, Matty,” You brought his head up, “I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
He just laughed, “Hurt me? Baby, you couldn’t hurt me if you tried.” He took your hand, placing it back in its previous position, “And, for the record, I was into it.”
Your cheeks burned at his confession, but you believed him, especially with the evidence straining against the material of his pants. Matt resumed his attack on your neck, only this time he worked his way down until he was met with the collar of your shirt.
His hands hesitated for a moment at hem, his eyes looked to yours before moving forward. You nodded, giving him the consent. He gently pulled the shirt over your head, tossing it somewhere on the floor. His eyes immediately drifted to your breasts, his tongue darting out to wet his lips.
"Go lay on the bed," Matt rasped.
Not wasting time, you quickly crawled on the bed, leaning against the soft pillows. Matt kneeled down on the mattress, body coming to slot in between your legs. His calloused hands rested on your thighs, running seductive patterns into the plushy skin.
"So pretty like this," He panted through his need, "All laid out just f'me."
You whined, hips bucking with a mind of their own. The deep carnal desire was becoming too much, the new ache of want echoed through your bones. You shook with anticipation.
"Please, Matty," You begged, "Need you so bad."
"Use your words, pretty girl," He encouraged, "Tell me what you want."
You huffed with embarrassment, not yet used to having to voice your needs. Matt watched you closely, enjoying the flustered look on your face.
"I need you," You managed.
He tsked, "Gotta tell me exactly what you need, baby. Wanna give you what you want."
You swallowed the whine that bubbled in your throat, barely managing out your words, “Need you to touch me.” You grabbed his hand and placed it between your legs, “Need you to touch me here.”
“Fuck,” Matt mumbled under his breath. The feeling of your wet cunt through the fabric of your leggings was enough to have his cock weeping. He leaned down to kiss up your stomach, making sure to give the tops of your breasts attention. By the time he reached your lips, you practically inhaled him. You were desperate for him, and your body’s response betrayed any attempt to cover it up.
Matt’s hand snaked behind your back, fumbling with your bra clasp, his brows furrowed as he tried to focus on kissing you and unhooking it at the same time. Not breaking the kiss, you sit up slightly, reaching behind you to help him out. The second the hook popped off, Matt eagerly discarded the item. His breath stopped as he took in your breasts. Even though this wasn’t the first time he’d seen them, they never failed to make his stomach swirl and his cock throb.
His head dipped down to take a nipple into his mouth, tongue circling the peaked bud. Your head fell back against the pillow as you arched your back, pushing your tits further into his mouth. A load moan escaped your throat as he bit down gently.
“Fuck,” You panted, “Matty, need more.”
He smirked against you, fingers treading down to hook themselves on the waistband of your leggings. He sat up on his knees, before looking to you for permission. You nodded eagerly, the fiery desperation for him greater than anything you had ever felt. He slowly pulled them down, tapping your thigh lightly in order for you to lift your hips. Matt helped thread your ankles through, tossing the material with the rest of your discarded clothes.
Your legs instinctively fell apart, putting your glistening cunt on display for him. Matt could have sworn he’d cum in his pants right then and there. He sat for a moment, taking in your body. He took note of every curve, mark, and scar that littered your skin. He wanted to remember them forever.
Becoming impatient, you tugged at his drawstrings, “Don’t just stare. Want you inside of me.”
His body immediately fell to trap yours, his lips so close you could feel them as he spoke, “Can’t say things like that, baby. Or else this gonna be over far sooner than we’d like.”
He pressed one more searing kiss to your lips before dropping a hand between your bodies.
“Gotta stretch you out, okay?”
You nodded, wanting nothing more than for him to touch you where you needed him most.
His hand brushed against your clit, making you jolt with pleasure. Matt prodded at your entrance with his middle finger, before slowly slipping the digit into your slick walls. He quickly found a steady rhythm, your arousal seeping onto the bed sheets.
You bucked your hips as the pleasure coursed through your body. Matt took this as a sign to add another finger. He continued to work you up, gently adding a third. As soon as he sped up his fingers, you ground yourself down against the heel of his palm, the stimulation almost sending you over the edge.
"Matty," You cooed, "M' gonna cum."
And just as you began to ride to that peak, Matt removed his fingers. You almost let out a whine of protest, but the sight of him sucking your essence off his fingers had your soaked pussy clenching around nothing. Matt lifted himself above you once more, holding up his weight.
"You ready, pretty girl?" He asked, "We can always stop and watch a movie if you'd rather do that. I won't care, I promise."
You looked him dead in the eyes, "Matthew, I mean this in the most loving way, but please just shut up and fuck me."
He laughed as he took your lips into a hot fight of tongues and teeth, he mumbled against your lips, "I love you, woman." With that, he sat up and quickly threw off his sweats and boxers in one go. His cock slapped proudly against his abdomen, drops of pre-cum already seeping from his swollen tip.
He aligned himself, before slowly starting to inch his way in. Matt watched your face intensely, watching for any signs of you wanting to stop. You let out a gasp, the initial pain catching you off guard.
Matt leaned down to plant kisses all over your face as he eased himself in further, "I know, I know, baby. You're doing so good f'me." He hushed out, "Taking my cock so well."
You both let out moans as he sunk in the final couple of inches. You panted, overwhelmed by the way he split you open.
"You doin' okay?" He managed through gritted teeth. The tight grip your cunt had around his cock was almost too much for him to deal with.
You nodded, the dull pain finally fading away into need, "You can move."
He swallowed harshly, before pulling out gently and sheathing himself back in fully. Matt did this a few more times, or at least until he had a reign on his hormones. The feeling of being buried inside of you had his mind in a frenzy, wanting nothing more than to fuck you until you couldn't remember your own name. But he knew there would be time for that later, right now was all about you.
Matt reached up to intertwine your hands, his thrusts slowly getting faster and harder. You moaned loudly as the tip of his cock nestled so deliciously against your g-spot. Waves of pleasure surged through every sense you had, until all you could focus on was him. He intoxicated everything. There was only him.
Low groans left Matt’s mouth, his heavy breathing picking up as he tilted his hips in order to reach deeper into you. Your jaw fell slack, your grip on his hand tightening with the intense pressure in your lower belly. It spread from the tips of toes all the way to the tops of your ears, consuming you completely until the only thing still holding you to earth was Matt. His groans turned into breathy whines as he neared his peak, but he was determined to have you finish first.
Matt snaked a hand down your body, to rub sloppy circles on your clit. The added stimulation had your eyes rolling back and a loud cry leaving your mouth.
“Come on, pretty girl. That’s it, cum all over my cock.”
The sounds of his hips slapping against yours, paired with his encouragement finally broke the knot that had been tightening in your gut. Your moan fell silent as the force of your orgasm hit you like a truck. Blinding white pleasure danced through your body, your pussy spasming rapidly around Matt’s cock. Just your facial expressions alone were enough to send him toppling over that edge as well, his cock twitching as he quickly pulled out. He stroked his cock until ropes of white painted your stomach and chest, the warm liquid dripping down your tits.
Matt’s chest heaved as he fell beside you, rubbing soothing patterns into your hair. He whispers sweet nothings to you as you slowly came back to reality. You tilted your head to look up at him, smiling softly.
He placed a sweet kiss on your head, “There’s those beautiful eyes,” Matt cradled your face with one of his large hands, “You feeling okay? I wasn’t too rough was I?”
You shook your head, “No, everything was perfect. You were perfect, Matty.”
He smiled lovingly at you, eyes looking at you as if you’d hung the moon. He placed another kiss on your temple, before getting up and grabbing a towel to clean you off. Once his spent had been wiped off of you completely, you grabbed his wrist, tugging him back down to lay with you.
“Baby,” He laughed, “We gotta get you in the shower so I can clean you off.”
You groaned in displeasure, “In a minute, just wanna cuddle with you first. Want you to hold me.”
He fell into place behind you, pulling your body snugly against his, “If I ever say no to holding you, you have my full permission to kill me on the spot.”
You just grinned, burying yourself further into his warm body.

Tumblr media
The soft light of dawn began to seep through the curtains, casting a gentle glow over the room. You lay beside Matt, his steady breathing and the rise and fall of his chest a soothing rhythm in the quiet morning. Last night's game had been intense, and the brawl he'd gotten into left visible marks on his face.
Gently, you traced your fingers over the bruises, feeling the warmth of his skin beneath your touch. "You always give it your all, don't you?" you whispered softly, more to yourself than to him. Your fingers moved to the curve of his jaw, lingering on the rough stubble, then traced the line of his cheekbone.
Matt stirred slightly but didn't wake. You smiled, reaching to brush stray hairs out of his face. Your tank top rode up slightly as you placed a chaste kiss on his forehead.
He stirred a little more, his hand settling on your lower back. His calloused thumb rubbed against your exposed hip as his eyes opened sleepily.
"Good morning," he rasped, leaning up to kiss your lips. The kiss was soft and lingering, both of you needing something soft and bliss.
"Morning," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. You brushed your fingers gently through his hair, careful not to touch the bruises. "How are you feeling?"
Matt sighed, his eyes closing briefly as he savored your touch. "Sore," he admitted, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "But having you here makes it better."
You traced the outline of his lips with your finger, marveling at how even in pain, he managed to smile. "You scared me last night," you confessed. "Seeing you out there, fighting like that… I hate seeing you hurt."
His smile widened. "My fight didn't get you hot and bothered?" he suggested, pulling you into his lap, his hand running up and down your back. You giggled, shoving his chest playfully.
"You're the worst, Rempe," you said, shaking your head.
He laughed softly, the sound rumbling through his chest. "I know," he said, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "But you love me anyway."
You couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, I do," you admitted, wrapping your arms around his neck. "I love you even when you're a pain in my ass."
"Y'know what else could be a pain in your ass," he teased, raising an eyebrow suggestively.
You jumped out of his lap, making your way to the bathroom. You could hear him laughing to himself as you called back, "Not happening, babe."
Still chuckling, he leaned back against the pillows, a satisfied grin on his face. "Can't blame a guy for trying," he said, loud enough for you to hear.
You rolled your eyes but couldn't suppress the smile that tugged at your lips. "Just rest up, Matt," you replied, peeking out from the bathroom door. "You've got to heal those bruises before you can try any of your moves again."
"Yes, ma'am," he said, giving you a mock salute.
You laughed, shaking your head. "You're impossible."
"And you love me for it," he called back, settling into the bed and closing his eyes, the smile still lingering on his lips.
As you finished up in the bathroom and returned to the bedroom, you couldn't help but smile at Matt. Despite the bruises and the teasing, he was yours, and that was all that mattered.
"I think you should assess my injuries," he suggested as you crawled into bed beside him.
You raised an eyebrow, giving him a playful look. "Oh, really?"
He smirked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Yeah, I need my girl to check all my injuries," he said, gesturing to his bruised face. "Very thoroughly."
You chuckled, shaking your head. "Fine, but only because you actually need some care," you said, leaning over him to gently kiss the bruises on his face.
"How's that?" you asked, your voice soft.
"Much better," he murmured, his eyes closing in contentment. "But I think you need to keep going."
You smiled, your heart swelling with love. "Alright, but remember, this is just so you feel better," you teased, pressing gentle kisses along his jawline and down to his neck.
"Of course," he replied, his voice filled with amusement.
"You know," you said softly, pausing to look into his eyes, "I'm really glad you're okay."
He reached up, cupping your face with his hand. "I'm glad I have you," he whispered. "You're the best medicine I could ever ask for."

check out my Masterlist. Also send in request! I had so much fun writing this one and would love to write more for you guys!
The things you do to me
_________________________________________________
Matt and you have been dating for about a year now and he does this thing. He’ll jerk off anytime of the day and anywhere whenever you are around him. He loves the idea of you finding him doing it, but also loves just being around you when he does do it.
He always has full control over the situation. Most of the time he does it to show you that you are his. When he is about to cum, he will hold you in place no matter what you’re doing and cum on you. letting out a grunt and a ‘Mine’ as he does it.
_________________________
Matt had invited you over to his apartment to hang out. Using the key that he gave to you unlock the door. When you entered it was unusually quiet. “Matt?” you call out. Why would he invite you over if he wasn’t going to be here, and why wouldn’t he let you know. You pull out your phone to check to see if he texted you, but you saw nothing.
A few seconds passed and you hear a moan come from his bedroom. You walk over to his room the door slightly open. You peek in to see him sitting on his bed his back against the headboard and his hand wrapped around his hard cock.
“Baby open the door so I can see you,” he says. You push the door open fully. you continue to watch his hand as it strokes his cock. His eyes never leave you. He watches as your lips fall into a little pout and how you shifted your legs to help relieve some of the tension that’s building between them. “Matty,” you let out a whine.
“Your being so good for me. Watching me like the good girl you are.” His hand now moving faster. His eyes never leaving yours. He lets out a few loud grunts as he cums onto his hand and stomach.
“Come here baby, let me help you out. I know that my girl is needy from watching me.” Your quick to move. Taking your shirt and pants off before getting on the bed and straddling Matts legs.
He grabs you chin with one hand, bringing you in for a harsh kiss as his other hand slips inside of your panties. His thumb finds your clit, you let out a gasp. Matt takes this opportunity to slide his tongue into your mouth.
_________________________
You had spent the night at Matts apartment after one of his games. You didn’t do much, just spent the whole night cuddling and talking about the game. you woke up the next day later than you wanted to. It was almost one pm when you woke up. That meant that Matt should have just gotten home from practice.
The sound of the shower turning on confirmed that you were right about Matt being home. You get up and make your way into the bathroom to say hi to him. when you walked in you find him, he’s leaning on the counter, his arm keeping him up. His other hand is down his sweats pumping his cock.
“Kiss me baby.” He turns so his back is leaning against the counter now. Reaching out his non busy hand to you. You take his hand, and he pulls you in. He leans down to kiss you, his hand now on your ass,  pulling you further into him so his leg was in between yours.
His one hand still pumping his cock, as he uses his other hand on your ass to pull you forward making you grind agist his leg. He lets out grunts moving his hand faster. He flips you both so your back is now against counter. He moves his sweats down just enough to pull his cock out.
He lifts the shirt that you were wearing so he could look at your tits. “You’re my good girl. So good to me. You all mine.” His head tips back, his mouth hung open as he lets out moans. The tip of his cock rubs against your stomach, making him rut against you so he could feel more pleasure.
“Fuck. Fuck. Your mine baby, remember that. Your mine, always mine.” He grunts as he reaches his orgasm. His cum now covering your stomach “I love you. my pretty girl.” He smiles at you as he pulls your shirt the rest of the way off and moves to pull your sleep shorts off. “Come get into the shower with me.” He kisses your lips then kisses his way down your neck. His lips wrap around your nipple as he pick you up so your legs now wrap around him.
_________________________
You and matt were going out with friends. It was a struggle to get him out of the door because he was trying to bend you over almost any surface that he could find. You realized you left something in up in his apartment, so you left him in the car to go get it.
It didn’t take long for you to get back to the car. “Okay baby. I’m ready if you are.” You say. finally, you look over at him and he’s already looking at you. You don’t realize what he’s doing till you look down and find his hand wrapped around his cock. “I don’t think you realize that you drive me funking crazy. All day every day, your all I can think about. I need you, right now.” You climb over the center console and sit in his lap, finally giving into what he wants.
The second you’re on his lap he attacks your neck, kissing from you jaw down to right above your boobs. “Your mine. Now move your panties to the side so I can fuck you.” You do what he says. Bunching up the dress and moving your panties. He brings his hand down and slides two fingers through your folds.
“So wet for me.” You don’t trust your voice, so you nod your head at his statement. He aligns himself and pushes in. His hands find your hips and he starts to help you bounce. It didn’t take long for either of you to reach your orgasm.
“Fuck baby, I’m going to fill you up. Make you all nice and full for the rest of the night.” You could only let out a moan in response. His head drops to your shoulder. He bites at your neck to stop his moans from being too loud. Your orgasm followed right after his.
“My good girl. You did so good for me. You always do so good for me.” He grabs your chin and gives you a quick kiss on the lips, making you smile. You bring your head down into his chest as he plays with your hair. “You wouldn’t happen to have some makeup on you, would you? those marks are kind of noticeable.” He says. A small laugh leaving his throat. You climb back over the console and pull down the car mirror so you can see what he’s talking about.
There are three huge purple marks on your neck. “Matt. Oh my god. They are so going to say something.” You turn to look at him and he’s got a huge smirk on his face. “You’re a butthead. You’re going to owe me big time” you close the mirror and start the car so you can at least try to be on time to meet your friends.

The Party Planner
Matt Rempe x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Trevor, Jack, and Luke learn they probably should knock before surprising people for their birthday…
Word Count: 2K
A/N: Gonna make this a series abt her being a lowk nepo baby
Y/N’s life had always revolved around hockey. As the daughter of a star defenseman from the ’90s, her childhood was filled with rink-side memories, locker room laughs, and endless conversations about the game. Her dad had gone to university with Ellen and even played on the Mens National Team when Ellen played for the womens. With that remaining close especially when she married Jim. They all remained close with him. Because of that, Y/N grew up with the Hughes brothers—Jack, Quinn, and Luke—feeling more like family than friends.
As she got older, Y/N’s life diverged from the rink. She found fame as an actress, rising through the ranks to become a household name in Hollywood. Still, no matter how bright the spotlight got, she stayed close to her roots. Her friendships with the Hughes brothers expanded to include other NHL players like Trevor Zegras and Cole Caufield. Whether it was hanging out in the off-season or cheering them on from the stands, she was the unofficial sibling of hockey’s rising stars.
But her personal life was a little more complicated.
For the past few months, Y/N had been dating Matt Rempe, a towering enforcer with a reputation for physical play and an even bigger temper. The hockey world knew him as the guy who spent more time in the penalty box than on the ice. His aggressive playing style and frequent fights had earned him a demotion to the AHL—a fact her father and friends couldn’t overlook.
“Are you sure about him?” her dad had asked more than once, skepticism clear in his voice.
Even Jack, Luke, and Trevor had their doubts. “I mean, he’s a good guy, right?” Jack had said cautiously. “But, uh…maybe not your guy.”
Yeah, like someone who doesn’t punch people for fun,” Trevor added.
Y/N brushed off their concerns. They didn’t know Matt like she did. Sure, he had a reputation, but beneath the rough exterior was a man who was kind, funny, and fiercely protective. He treated her like gold, and that was all that mattered. Winning over her friends and family would take time, but she was willing to wait.
As her birthday approached, Y/N opted for a quiet celebration. Between work and travel, she wanted nothing more than a simple dinner with close friends. What she didn’t know was that Luke, Jack, and Trevor had cooked up a plan to surprise her.
Trevor stood in the aisle of a party supply store, holding up a pack of balloons. “I’m telling you, this is the move. We sneak into her place, decorate, and when she gets home—bam! Surprise party.”
Luke raised an eyebrow. “How do we know she’s not there?”
“She told me she was filming or something,” Jack said, tossing a bag of confetti into the cart. “We’ll be in and out. Easy.”
An hour later, armed with decorations and a cake, the trio let themselves into Y/N’s apartment. Trevor insisted on carrying the cake, while Jack and Luke carried the rest.
“She’s gonna love this,” Trevor said, plopping the cake box onto the kitchen counter.
Jack grinned. “Yeah, if we don’t screw it up.”
The three quickly got to work. Jack wrestled with an oversized banner that read HAPPY BIRTHDAY, trying to hang it over the living room window. Trevor blew up balloons, complaining about the lack of a helium tank, while Luke meticulously set up confetti-filled balloons around the coffee table.
“This is looking pretty good,” Luke said, stepping back to admire their handiwork.
“Where do you want the cake?” Trevor asked, balancing it precariously on one hand.
“Counter,” Jack mumbled, still wrestling with the banner. “Let’s finish before she gets home.”
“She’s not home,” Trevor said confidently, grabbing a balloon to blow up.
But he was wrong.
Y/N was home, and she wasn’t alone.
In her bedroom, she and Matt had spent the morning together, enjoying a rare, quiet day off. They’d slept in, laughed over shared jokes, and gotten caught up in each other in a way that made the rest of the world fade into the background.
Matt leaned back against the headboard, a lazy grin on his face. “So, part one of your birthday present?”
“Can it be presented with people around? Or is this a private one” Y/N replied, running a hand through his tousled hair.
“Definitely just us, might give your dad a heartattack” Matt teased, pulling her closer. “Come here”
She rolled her eyes but couldn’t help smiling. They leaned in for another kiss creating explicit faint sounds of muffled noises through the apartment.
Out in the living room, Trevor froze mid-step. “Wait. Did you hear that?”
Jack, teetering on a chair, glanced over his shoulder. “Hear what?”
Trevor held up a hand, signaling for silence. All three of them stilled, ears straining. From down the hallway came the faint sound of moans—deep and unmistakably male and female.
Luke’s face turned bright red. “Oh my.”
“No way,” Trevor whispered, a grin spreading across his face.
Jack hopped down from the chair, his expression one of sheer panic. “It’s not what you think. Maybe she left the TV on.”
Another sound—this time softer, followed by an unmistakable thud—left no room for doubt.
“Oh, this is gold,” Trevor whispered, clutching the edge of the couch for support.
Luke groaned, burying his face in his hands. “We have to leave. Right now.”
“Agreed,” Jack said, already gathering their decorations. “Pack it up. Let’s go.”
Trevor, however, lingered. “Guys. We could just—”
“Nope,” Jack snapped, grabbing Trevor by the arm. “We’re leaving. Now.”
As they scrambled for the door, another sound—one that they really didn’t want to identify—echoed from the bedroom.
“Call Quinn,” Luke muttered as they fled into the hallway. “Call Quinn right now.”
Quinn answered on the second ring. “What’s up?”
Trevor’s voice came through in a near-shout. “You’ll never guess what just happened!”
“What did you do now?” Quinn asked, sounding suspicious.
“We didn’t do anything!” Trevor insisted. “But we went to surprise Y/N for her birthday, and, uh…”
Jack snatched the phone. “We heard them! Her and Matt. Going at it like rabbits.”
“What?!” Quinn sounded half-amused, half-horrified.
Luke’s groan was audible in the background. “It was so bad. I don’t think I’ll ever recover.”
Trevor took the phone back, grinning. “Quinn, I’m telling you. I’m traumatized, but it was also hilarious.”
“You guys are idiots,” Quinn said, though there was laughter in his voice. “Please tell me you didn’t say anything.”
“We ran out of there so fast, they probably didn’t even know we were there,” Trevor assured him.
“Good,” Quinn said. “Because if Y/N finds out, she’s going to kill you.”
Later that day, Cole joined the group call, his laugh echoing through the line as they recounted the story.
“She’s going to find out eventually,” Cole said, wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. “You guys are the worst.”
Jack groaned. “Don’t remind me.”
Meanwhile, back in her apartment, Y/N had no idea what had just transpired—or the chaos that her well-meaning friends had unleashed.
Weeks after her birthday, Y/N found herself seated in a sleek studio alongside Jack, Trevor and Jamie Drysdale, appearing on Instagram live. The atmosphere was casual and lighthearted, the kind of energy Trevor thrived on—and the kind that made Y/N suspicious of what he might say.
Jamie leaned forward with a grin. “So, Y/N, how was your birthday? Heard stuff happened but I’ve been so busy can’t believe I missed it.”
Y/N smiled warmly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “It was great, honestly. Very low-key. Just how I like it.”
Trevor, sitting to her left, suddenly perked up, a mischievous glint in his eye. “Not that low-key,” he muttered, loud enough for everyone to hear.
Jack immediately groaned and slumped in his chair. “Trevor, no.”
“What?” Trevor said innocently, spreading his hands. “It’s a funny story!”
Jamie’s grin widened. “Oh, I need to hear this. What happened?”
Y/N shot Trevor a warning glance, but he was already leaning into the phone, fully committed to his role as the ultimate pot-stirrer.
“So,” Trevor began dramatically, “we thought it would be a good idea to surprise Y/N for her birthday. You know, being the amazing friends we are. Balloons, banners, cake—the works. We figured we’d sneak into her apartment and have it all ready for when she got back.”
Y/N shook her head, already sensing where this was going. “Trevor…”
Trevor ignored her. “The thing is, we didn’t realize she was home—and, uh, she wasn’t alone.”
Jamie burst out laughing. “You’re kidding!”
“Oh, yeah,” Trevor continued, grinning ear to ear. “We’re mid-decorating—Luke’s got balloons, Jack’s fighting with a banner—and then we hear…” He paused for dramatic effect, lowering his voice. “Let’s just say we heard things.”
The studio erupted in laughter. Jack buried his face in his hands, muttering, “I told him not to tell this story.”
Trevor was on a roll now. “We froze, completely starstruck. Like, ‘Is that Matt?’ And sure enough…” He trailed off, smirking at Y/N.
Y/N, her face a mix of embarrassment and exasperation, finally spoke up. “Are you serious right now?” She turned to Jamie. “This is Trevor’s favorite pastime—making up ridiculous stories to embarrass me.”
Trevor looked affronted. “Making up? Oh, no, this is 100% real. Ask Luke!”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “I’m telling you, it’s not true. Matt and I would never—” She gestured sarcastically and vaguely, clearly trying to keep the conversation from getting too graphic. “This is pure fabrication.”
Jamie leaned in, still laughing. “So you’re saying you weren’t home?”
“I was home,” Y/N admitted, her voice calm but firm. “But Trevor has a very active imagination. Matt and I were for sure watching a movie in the bedroom.”
Jack, seeing an opportunity to back her up, jumped in. “Yeah, I mean…we didn’t actually see anything. We just heard…stuff. Could’ve been the TV.”
Trevor groaned. “Don’t cover for her! You know what we heard.”
Y/N crossed her arms, leaning back in her chair. “Oh, please, Trevor. You probably heard muffled sounds and immediately jumped to conclusions. Matt and I were watching a crime thriller.”
Trevor shrugged, clearly enjoying himself. “Hey, if the shoe fits.”
Jamie laughed so hard he had to wipe his eyes. “This might be my favorite story of all time.”
Y/N sighed, half-laughing despite herself. “I can’t believe I’m defending my perfectly pg 13 relationship on live.”
“You’re welcome,” Trevor said smugly.
Jack chimed in, trying to steer the conversation away from further disaster. “Honestly, the best part is how fast we ran out of there. Luke didn’t even look back. We just left everything—balloons, streamers, the whole setup. It’s probably still there.”
Y/N groaned, burying her face in her hands. “You guys are unbelievable.”
Jamie grinned. “Well, whether it’s true or not, it sounds like Y/N’s birthday was very memorable.”
Trevor gave a mock toast to the phone. “To Y/N and Matt—congrats on keeping things…entertaining.”
Y/N gave him a playful shove, laughing despite her embarrassment. “Next time, maybe knock before you decide to play party planner.”
As the live wrapped, Y/N couldn’t help but shake her head. She might never live this down, but at least life with these guys was never boring.

I Didn't Mean For This | M. Rempe
word count: 2.19k
pairing: Matt Rempe x fem!reader
summary: Matt makes a bet with his teammate that he can get any girl in the club.
warnings: Matt's an asshole? angst?
requested: yes
notes: this took a little longer than I hoped to write and the ending kind of sucks, imo, but I hope y'all enjoy!
Tumblr media
“I don’t think you could get any girl in here.”
It was a stupid argument, starting between Braden and Matt. Forcing their teammates into the conversation, with Matt claiming he could have any girl in the room.
“Let’s settle this, Matt you get with her,” Jacob pointed to the first girl he saw, somewhere around Matt’s age, she was gorgeous, “For a week then you’ve won, if not, Braden was right.”
Matt nodded, he could do this. He made his plan, running through what he would do to gather your attention, ignoring his teammates remarks about how immoral this was.
His movements were precise, walking over to you with a goal, leaning against the bar you sat at, watching you glance up at him when he slid beside you.
“Anyone sitting here?” He spoke softly, testing the waters.
“No, it’s all yours.”
He smiled, sliding down onto the stool beside you, his hand lingering on the tabletop beside yours for a minute longer than necessary.
“What’s your name?” He was the first to speak, initiating the conversation, asking you simple questions about your life and answering as if he were genuinely interested.
Within the hour, he’d learned all he needed, he had your name and your number and a date set up for tomorrow night.
“See you tomorrow Matt.” You held a shy smile as your friends returned to drag you away from the bar and back to your apartment.
Nervous would’ve been an understatement, waiting for Matt to arrive the following night. He had messaged ten minutes ago, claiming he was just leaving his apartment, he’d been at yours in fifteen minutes. You paced the room nervously, anxiously cleaning up random things in your kitchen, before being interrupted by a soft knock on your door.
Opening it quickly to reveal Matt, dressed in well-fitting jeans with a button up, holding a bouquet of roses. He was quick to push the roses towards you, telling you how beautiful you looked and that the flowers were for you.
“Thank you.” you almost whispered, shocked at how formal he was being, quickly finding a vase for them to stay in before following him out, taking his outstretched hand, letting him lead the way.
“I hope you don’t mind, but I thought we could do something different than go to a restaurant.” He spoke softly, opening the door of his car for you before walking around to his side. “I was thinking we could go to the arcade.”
It was a quick drive to the arcade, Matt’s eyes occasionally drifting from the road to you during the ride. He was quick to remove himself from the driver's seat, running in front of the car to open the door to the passengers side, holding his hand out for you to take.
“What a gentleman.” Your tone was soft, joking, watching him smile at the words.
“Mama raised me right.” He grinned, leading the way into the arcade.
The night moved fast, playing every game that caught your eye, letting Matt win prizes for you, it was something of a movie that made you sad when it came to an end.
Leaving at the same time the arcade closed, hand in hand with Matt while he led you back to his car, driving you back to your apartment slowly, savoring his time with you.
“I wish this night would never end.” He whispered, his hands on your hips, standing outside your apartment door.
“Me too.”
Without thinking, he was kissing you. Your lips molded together perfectly, his hands keeping you pulled tight against his body, your hands tugging through his hair.
He pulled away panting, his forehead pressed to yours while you smiled, pecking his lips once more before turning inside, whispering a ‘good night’ while he stared as you closed the door behind you.
His walk down the hall was slow, his hands gripping his phone where he rewatched the video, listening to the conversation that had just played through before sending it to Braden. The simple ‘6 more days’ text that followed had him smiling, opening the door to his car while he simply liked the message.
It was no more than a day later when Matt showed up at your door again, holding takeout and sporting a shy smile.
“What are you doing here?” The smile on your face was confirmation enough, he made the right choice coming over.
“I wanted to surprise you, I was thinking dinner and a movie at home?” He suggested, raising his hands that held the bags of food.
“That’d be amazing, thank you.”
It wasn’t till he was leaving that night had he remembered about the bet, sending a quick message to Braden stating ‘5 more days and I win’ with a smile on his face.
It wasn’t till three days after that he’d shown up again, appearing at your door with bags of goodies after you claimed you couldn’t hang out because you were sick.
His knocking was soft on the door, hoping to not wake you if you were sleeping, waiting to hear the pad of your footsteps coming to the door.
“Matt?” Shock  filled your voice, standing wrapped in a blanket as you opened the door, your voice rough with a cold as you spoke.
“Brought you some things to make you feel better.” He smiled, shifting your body to the side, sliding into your apartment before picking you up, his bag of goodies left beside the front door for now.
“Matt you’ll get sick!” you were smiling as he carried you, bringing you into your bedroom and laying you down gently.
“It’ll be worth it to spend time with you.”
When he snuck out, at nearly midnight once he was sure you were asleep, his phone flashed the three messages from Braden.
‘Any progress?’
‘I think I might win this tbh’
‘Shit where are you man?’
A smile covered Matt’s face, laughing at his teammates messages before quicking typing one back.
“Let me in.” Matt’s voice, muffled through the door, filled your kitchen.
“One second I need to take the cookies out.” You yelled back reaching in the remove the hot tray from the oven, knicking your arm on the top as you pulled them out, muttering a soft ‘fuck’ as you placed the cookies and went to open the door.
“Baby, what happened?” Matt’s eyes immediately dropped to the red patch on your arm, his hands reaching to hold your arm to look.
“I just hit my arm on the over, I’ll be fine.”
“No, we’re taking care of this.”
He had a determined look in his eyes, as if he’d never take no for an answer, leading you into your bathroom to clean the burn himself.
The sight alone was something you wouldn’t mind seeing everyday, sat on the counter while he rummaged through your items, finding all the ones he needed before gently cleaning the burn.
His touch was gentle, as if he were scared of breaking you, his eyes always on you, his heart racing as he tried to focus.
“Thank you, baby.” You whispered, leaning up to kiss him when he finished, letting his body melt into yours.
Leaving was almost the worst part of the night, at least in Matt’s opinion. He dreaded walking through your door, clinging onto your body a little bit longer before he had to leave, walking slowly through the halls.
Glancing at his phone he saw the message from Braden, reminding him of the bet he’d forgotten about, his mind only focused on falling in love with you.
‘You won man, gg’
He ignored the message, fighting the urge to block Braden for reminding him that this started as a bet. Guilt flooded his body as he walked, how could he have been so cruel to make her a bet?
He deleted the messages, spending the night forgetting that the bet had ever been made, trying to drown the feeling of guilt in the morning when you messaged him a thank you for last night.
‘Open the door’
The message woke you up, coming through at 7 am on a saturday morning, Matt’s contact photo filling your screen when he deemed you hadn’t answered fast enough.
“Open up, I brought you something.” You could hear the smile in his voice, slowly moving from your bed as he spoke, rummaging for something else to put on.
“Let me get some clothes on.” You groaned, dropping your phone onto your bed to get dressed, picking it up right after before heading to your door.
Opening it to reveal Matt holding two cups of coffee and a bag of food, greeting you with a hug whilst balancing the order.
“I missed you.” He whispered, as if he didn’t want anyone else to hear, letting your arms wrap around his shoulders, pulling him down.
“Missed you too.”
It had been months, three months since the first date. He was the picture perfect boyfriend, more than anyone could want.
“I love you so much.” He whispered, constantly, laying almost on top of you on the couch, watching whatever stupid show was playing on the television.
“I love you.” You’d whisper back, glancing down to see the smile on his face.
Those were your favorite days, lazy days with Matt. He would lay with you all day, showing constant affection, whispering sweet nothings. It couldn’t get better.
His phone buzzed from the counter, laying discarded from this morning while you both had lounged on the couch. Matt was cooking, something he did rarely but nonetheless loved, urging you to grab his phone and read the message for him.
“Okay it’s from Braden, ‘Are you still with her?? You won the bet you can drop her now’” Your voice lowered as you read, dropping the phone to stare at Matt, where he froze in horror.
He turned quickly, facing you with a look of guilt along his features, his mind moving quickly through things he could say to you.
“Baby,” He tried, your hand raising to cut him off.
“What the fuck does that mean, Matthew.” Your voice was filled with venom, watching his eyes widen at the words.
“I- Fuck.” He stuttered, nothing sounded good enough anymore for him to say, his mind frozen trying to think. “I didn’t mean for it to go this far. I didn’t mean for this to happen.”
“What does that mean?” The words were sharp, pushing an urgent tone as you glared towards Matt.
“Baby I can explain-”
“Don’t fucking ‘baby’ me!” The yell caught him off guard, flinching back towards the stove where he stood in front.
“Okay, okay, I’m sorry. But you have to let me explain.” He begged, his eyes filling with more guilt as time passed.
“You have five minutes before I kick you out of my house.”
You could hear the several ‘thank you’s mumbled from him as you walked back to the couch, sitting in the corner whilst Matt followed and sat on the other side.
He paused for a moment, looking at you while you held a glare at him.
“What are you waiting for? Speak.” The words made him almost recoil, having never heard you be so venomous.
“Fuck, I’m so fucking sorry.” His words broke when he reached to run a hand through his hair, planning his next words. “It’s okay if you never forgive me but you need to know I love you.”
Your eyes never softened, keeping the hard glare at the tall man while the gears turned through his mind on how to explain this.
“You deserve the truth, this was a bet.”
It was like the world had gone silent, everything had stopped spinning, the leaves had quit falling and all was over. You had been a bet to him.
“But listen I fell in love with you, Baby believe me. I would never lie about that-”
“No? You’ll just lie about the rest of our relationship! None of it was real!”
There were tears streaming down your cheeks, covering them with a shine that reflected the light of the room. Matt’s eyes clouded over, leaning his head back to keep the tears from dropping.
“It was real! I love you, baby please.” Matt’s pleas were useless, the words being ignored as you tried to make the room stop spinning in your mind and the tears to quit falling.
“Get out.”
Matt froze, all his pleas fell silent as he stared at you wide eyed. His hands dropped in his lap, his eyes scanning your face while you just stared back at him.
“What? Baby please-”
“I said get out, Matthew.”
You moved quickly, walking past his figure on the couch to open the front door, holding it open whilst gesturing for Matt to go through it.
“I was a fucking bet to you and you thought that this would all be fine? Get the fuck out of my house Matthew!”
He moved slowly, grabbing the discarded phone from the kitchen counter as he passed, mumbling out more apologies as he walked through the door, turning to say more as the door shut in his face.

hope you enjoy sof!!! love you my cutie!
Tumblr media
You rolled over in bed, having just woke up from a dream and wanting to reposition yourself in Matt’s arms. You let out a soft whine when you realized he wasn’t next to you in bed.
“Matt?” You whispered. You lifted yourself up on your elbows to squint at the alarm clock on your bedside table. 3:29 AM.
Reluctantly arising from your warm bed, you quietly walked down the hallway. You carried a blanket for Matt in case he was asleep on the couch, which wasn’t uncommon if he was watching hockey. The bathroom light wasn’t on, nor was the light near your television. In your sleepy haze, you heard a glass clinking as it was set down. Bingo.
Finally, you spotted Matt sitting on a stool by the kitchen island. His hunched figure was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by the candle that was lit in front of him. The scent of vanilla entered your nose as you drew closer.
“Matt, why are you up? It’s three in the morning,” You called in a whisper. He whipped his head towards you, startled by your presence.
“Geez, you scared me Y/N,” he chuckled softly. Matt’s hair was strewn about, the product of him running his hands through it incessantly and his leg bounced up and down.
“Sorry,” you mumbled sheepishly, stepping closer to him to wrap him up in the blanket. “I woke up and you weren’t there.”
“Yeah, just couldn’t stop thinking about today,” he sighed, mumbling a soft thank you. He was looking at you with an expression you couldn’t read. Your sleep-addled brain was not ready to comprehend big feelings, but you wanted to be there for him.
“It’s finally happening,” you said, smiling. “I’m so excited for you.”
Matt nodded, focusing his attention on the cup in front of him. He traced the rim with his finger, lost in thought once again.
You were overwhelmed with a sense of deja vu as you watched him in the ambient light. You and Matt had met two years ago. At the time, you were a college student in Connecticut and Matt was playing hockey in Hartford. You had met through a dating app and while it didn’t seem like you had anything in common, Matt had won you over pretty easily. Both of you were set on living in New York City-you wanted to do more schooling and Matt was hoping to be called up by the New York Rangers. After many date nights, hockey games, and one graduation, you were both closer to living your dreams. You had been waiting for the day that Matt came and stayed at your apartment while preparing to play for the Rangers.
But, it was never without some bumps in the road.
You knew you’d never understand what Matt went through as a hockey player, but for the past two weeks, you had tried to be there for him. He’d received the call from the Rangers in the beginning of February to play, but he hadn’t gotten any playing time. That would change today when he made his debut.
“Your family is so excited too, I can’t wait to sit next to Steph and Alley and cheer you on,” you tried again. It was true, in a few hours, you would be driving with Matt’s family to MetLife Stadium to watch his NHL debut. You couldn’t be happier for him.
“I can’t believe it,” he muttered. “It’s everything I’ve ever wanted and it’s, like, here. Feel like I’ve waited for so long and I just want it to go well. Especially today.”
“It’ll go well, babe. You know that,” you said. You made your way to sit next to him at the other stool. Matt and his family had been thinking of his Dad who had passed away and you knew that it would be a huge deal for him to make his debut on his anniversary. You reached out for his hand and gently traced a pattern onto his palm.
“You’re going to make your family so proud, Matt. Especially your Dad.”
Matt released a shuddering breath he had been holding in for far too long. He pulled the blanket tighter around his broad shoulders, a chill running through him from the seasonal February weather.
“What if I’m nobody?” Matt whispered it so quietly you’re not sure you would’ve heard it if it wasn’t silent. The doubts of not being good enough swarmed in his mind.
“First of all, you won’t be nobody, Matt. And I know that the people in your circle wouldn’t care if you scored a hundred goals or zero, or ever played with the Rangers. You’ll always be somebody to us,” you said softly. “You’ll always be someone to me.”
You brought his knuckles to your lips and gave a soft kiss. You watched the tension leave his shoulders and he quickly reached over to give you a kiss. He leaned into you easily.
“There’s my boy,” you said against his lips.
“Thank you,” Matt said. “And thanks for listening to me at 3 in the morning.”
You chuckled. “Technically it’s 4 now, so you should come back to bed and cuddle me until your stupid alarm goes off at 7.”
Matt blew out the candle and stood up from the stool. You made grabby hands at Matt, which he quickly took and led the two of you back to bed. You both climbed in bed and Matt wrapped the blanket around both of you to keep warm.
“Love you baby,” he mumbled, already drifting off. His hair tickled your ear as he moved closer to you. “Gonna score for you tonight.”
“Yeah and you better not get in any fights, Rempe.”
“Mmm, no promises.”

Matt Rempe - NSFW ALPHABET
Note: If you’re confused as to why this isn’t F1 related, I also watch hockey. Been watching this man for some time now and I can’t believe there isn’t more content on here for him. Guy’s a catch. But do not worry, I am here to solve that problem. Anyway, enjoy. As always this is VERY juicy 🍒😉
Tumblr media
A - Aftercare. (what he’s like after sex)
Matt is a big aftercare guy but not in the way you would think. I think he would be the one to receive it mostly. Yeah, he’s very considerate and caring and will always make sure that you are alright after sex, but this big guy is the one who will act like a little baby in need for affection and love. All he wants to do after sex is cuddle and put his head on your chest so you can play with his hair as you praise him for how good he was and how amazing he made you feel. Don’t be fooled by the fact that he’s a 6’7” aggressive guy on the ice because outside of it he is just adorable.
B - Bodypart. (favorite body part of his and his partner’s)
Definitely his hands and back. He takes good care of his body because his role on the ice is more on the physical side, so he has to stay fit. His hands help him at throwing the punches that everyone loves to see at the games. But they’re also one of the things that makes you horny the most, so that’s another reason for why he loves them. They’re just so big and strong that he could lift you up like you weight nothing. He knows you got a thing for them, especially when his fists are bruised and bloody from a fight. You care deeply about his well being and you’re always worried for him when he gets himself in fights, but you just can’t help but imagine his fingers in your mouth, tightening around your throat or deep inside your pussy. And he’s more than okay with that. He’ll tease you about it just to make you nervous a bit, but he’s 100% into it himself. And his back? It’s huge. He loves it when you come up behind him and press your face into it, or when he’s fucking you so good you just can’t help but scratch it with your nails, almost making it bleed. It just makes him fuck you harder, and he enjoys the sting and the pain that comes with it.
On you, he gets feral about your lips and your tits. He’s always looking at your lips when you talk and will almost always be the one going in for a smooch. He can’t resist them, especially when you use your favorite flavored lip glosses on them. He’ll pull you in for a kiss without a care in the world that now his own lips are coated in your pink strawberry gloss. To him, there’s nothing better in this world than having you all for himself. But when he has you on your knees, with wide teary eyes looking up at him, struggling to take all of him in your throat, while his base is covered in your pink lipgloss? Yeah, that’s gotta be one of the best things he ever experienced in his life. And your tits? This man worships them. Of course, he loves all of you, but there’s just something about your breasts that drives him INSANE. He can’t keep his eyes away from you when you’re wearing tight clothes that just makes them pop out of your chest, and you always have to remind him not to be so obvious, especially when you’re in public and everyone can see him just shamelessly staring and almost drooling at the sight of them. He never listens though, and he has half a mind not to just grab them and play with them in front of everyone to see. He also loves it when you let him cum on them and his seed is slowly dripping down towards your stomach. He is nasty like that. The way they’re just bouncing up and down when he’s fucking you stupid is also a big turn on for him. He’ll slap your tits, squeeze them, suck on them, bite them and leave marks, anything. He is obsessed and he has no shame about it.
C - Cum. (anything to do with cum)
He likes it messy 100%.
He makes the decision of where he’s going to cum in the heat of the moment. If you give him permission to cum wherever he wants, he turns into a maniac. When you’re blowing him, although he loves it when you swallow, he thinks it’s HOT AS FUCK when some of his cum gets on your face. It gets him hard again in a matter of seconds. And then he’ll want to take your pussy for a spin and come inside. He gets so pumped knowing that he gets to leave a part of him inside of you, it’s almost possessive. He has so much cum to give you, and he loves that you’ll take it anytime and everywhere he wants. He’ll squeeze orgasm after orgasm from you just to see both your releases dripping out of your tight pussy, making a mess everywhere. If he’s taking you doggy style, he’ll cum both inside AND outside of your cunt, sometimes taking some of it on his fingers and spreading it on your ass or making you suck on them so you can taste how good he got you.
D - Dirty secret.
Matt wants to fuck you in your sleep. Now let’s not get it twisted, he would never do such thing without your consent. He kind of felt ashamed for wanting something like that, since it’s not a fantasy that everyone has, he thinks. But he can’t help thinking about it anytime he comes home at night after a game and he finds you asleep in his bed, with just one of his shirts to cover you, leaving your soft legs bare, slightly spread and so inviting. You look so peaceful, like an angel. Your hair is tousled all over the pillow, your lips are parted just a bit and your skin is beautiful and glowy in the pale moonlight creeping through his window. He’s so tired, but all he could think about since the game was over was you. Coming home to you, kissing you, having you in his arms. He knows you have your own busy schedule and you can’t always stay up just to wait for him to come back, and he never gets mad when he finds you already fast asleep. But sometimes it gets overwhelming for him. All he wants to do then is run his hands softly on your body so he won’t wake you up, get down and spread your legs wider so he can see your pretty pussy, already wet just from his light touches. He swears he’s never gonna get enough of how sensitive and responsive you are to him, even when you’re unconscious. He’d get feral over your scent and won’t resist tasting you. He’d keep his movements slow and steady while he’d look up at you, observing every whine you let out in your sleep, every time your brows would furrow, how your breathing would pick up. And even though he would love to have you cumming on his tongue, his dick is just too hard it’s almost painful for him. He’s humping the bed as he is eating you out, desperate to feel some relief. His selfish side would convince him that you love him anyway and you wouldn’t mind if he’d just slip it in.
E - Experience. (how experienced he is)
He is still in his early 20’s so I assume he’s not had a crazy amount of experiences. That, but also because he barely even had the time to get girlfriends anyway. To him, hockey was always one of his top priorities, and he chose to dedicate himself to it, because he knew that’s how you get to the top. Sure, he did have a few girlfriends in the past, but the sex was always kind of vanilla and bland. Probably because he never felt true love before you. When you two started being intimate he wasn’t too bad, he was still able to make you cum, unlike most men before him, but you could feel that something just wasn’t right with him. So you spent more time in building up his trust and making him feel more comfortable, assuring him that you would never judge him. He told you about how he wanted to experience more but he didn’t get the chance yet, and was more than excited to hear the same thing coming from you. You two spent a lot of time after that trying new things, testing your limits, and needless to say, he gained up a lot of experience just from doing things with you.
F - Favorite position.
Doggy or cowgirl. Normally, he fucks you in any position he can, and he’s not shy in changing them frequently just to make things more exciting and pleasurable for you. This man will have you everywhere and in any way you’ll let him.
But to him, there’s just something special about you in all fours, in such a degrading position. He loves you with all his heart, but he’ll fuck you like he hates you when you’re in doggy. He goes crazy over the desperate sounds you make, the way you grip the sheets or the headboard like your life depends on it as he is fucking you hard and fast. The way your ass jiggles when he’s thrusting his hips into you. He’ll spank you multiple times just to see your ass cheeks go red with his handprints, he’ll squeeze it, pull out of you for a brief moment just to bite it. This position doesn’t give him the best view of your face though, which he hates at some point, but not to worry about that! Matt will immediately grab you by the neck and yank you towards him so your back is glued to his chest as he squeezes your cheeks and forcing you to look at him. Now he can see all of you. How pretty you look with tears of overstimulation in your eyes, your makeup smudged all over your face and your fucked out expression. His pace would never cease, only increase while he busies himself by gripping your tits or flicking at your puffy, too sensitive clit, eager to make you fall apart again. He’ll groan in your ear and tease you, praise you and degrade you, because he knows you love it when he tells you you’re a good girl and a desperate cockslut both at the same time.
And cowgirl? His go-to when he’s feeling a bit too needy and submissive. As I said, he might be a huge guard dog most of the time, but deep down he adores it when he’s being taken care of and controlled, in a loving maner. Especially when he’s tired and can barely move, but still wants you. He’ll whine and push his face into your boobs and be extra touchy, hoping you’ll get the hint. After some time in the relationship you start to pick up on this habit of his and you happily indulge. You’ll have this man whimpering, squirming and grabbing at everything he can while you ride him. You never really looked forward to being on top before Matt, but with him things changed. You feel like a goddess when you’re riding him and keeping control of the pace while he is right there in front of you, with his head buried in your tits or slightly leaned back, looking at you like you’re going to be the death of him. Like he wants to possess you.
G - Goofy.
I would say he is goofy in bed, yeah. He’ll poke your sides or your butt, will randomly bite you and laugh when you yelp and jokingly push him away. But when things get serious, he’s rather more focused.
H - Hair.
Not shaved entirely but he keeps it neat and clean, trimmed short. Anything more than that is just too messy for him.
I - Intimacy. (how is he during the moment)
BIG on intimacy. Usually the mood is set by whatever the situation might be in the moment, but he’s always romantic. Not over the top type of romantic, but you can feel it. He pours his love into every touch, every word and every gesture. And even when he fucks you rough, he’ll always do something small to remind you that he loves you, like pressing a kiss to your forehead, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear, looking you deep in the eyes.
J - Jack off. (masturbation)
Matt’s the horniest bitch you’ve ever seen. It’s so easy for him to get hard if he’s thinking of you, seeing or touching you. You’re tying your hair? He’s bricked up. You’re cutting some vegetables for your dinner? He’s throbbing in his boxers. Most of the time you offer to help him, but when he’s away from you for games he’s losing his mind. Thankfully, you’re lovely enough to always send him some special material when he’s away, and now he just has a whole ass private album on his phone with pictures and videos of you that he can masturbate to. He prefers to facetime you though, so you can do it together. But if you’re not available at that moment, the videos will do.
Will 100% send you a video to show you how desperate he is for you and how much he misses you.
K - Kink. (what kink/s does he have?)
I think he would be into light BDSM. Not the hardcore shit, just a bit of restraining and discipline for the most part. He’d love to have your wrists tied up and boss you around a bit more, if you’re into that. As much as he likes when you have your moments of taking control, he loves to take it from you and have you arching off the bed and rolling your eyes to the back of your head while he’s overstimulating your pussy.
Another one would be size kink. I don’t need to explain it too much. You’re so much smaller than him, he fears he might break you in half sometimes, even when you tell him that you can take it. But it also excites him knowing how much power he has over your tiny body. He’s manhandling you in any position he desires with ease.
I don’t know if it’s a kink, but he definitely has a thing for squirting. He’s so big, in all ways. You can barely take all of him and when he’s fucking you nice and good you feel like he’s abusing every inch of your cunt, in the best way possible. The first time you squirted you were left in shock and embarrassment, because, obviously you’ve never done that before him and you thought he might not like it. But oh boy, how wrong you were. He groaned and slowed down a bit but couldn’t take his eyes off the mess you made on both of you. It was the hottest thing he’s ever seen.
“Fuck. Look at that, my baby made a mess.” he smirked, tilting his head to the side and biting his lip. His eyes caught your wide ones and then he leaned closer to you, squeezing your cheeks and placing a messy kiss to your lips. “Again. I want you to do that again for me, yeah?” he said, and you didn’t get the chance to respond before he started thrusting into you again, picking up his aggressive pace.
L - Location. (favorite places to have sex)
For the most part, he prefers having you in privacy, on his bed or yours. Of course, sex with Matt will never be boring. He’ll fuck you in every surface of the apartment. But he isn’t a big fan of public sex. Mostly because he doesn’t want to put you in an uncomfortable position or ruin his reputation. After all, he’s playing in the NHL and people like to talk. The last thing he wants is to have people spread word of him fucking his girlfriend for all to see. It could end bad.
Car sex also isn’t a problem, as long as you’re well hidden.
M - Motivation. (what gets him going)
Like I said, you could do any random thing and this man will get bricked up, and that’s because he’s just obsessed with you. But what gets him going the most is seeing you get all dolled up for him and admitting that the effort is all for him, while you’re touching him teasingly with your hands and batting your eyelashes innocently at him. Or when you’re attending his games and he can spot you for a brief moment in the crowd, cheering and wearing his jersey, his number and name on your back. You wear it with such pride that it’s making him burst. He fucked you a few times while you were wearing it, by the way. ;) . And he came hard.
N - No. (turn offs/things he wouldn’t do)
Nothing disgusting or that can hurt you in an unpleasant way. He would never.
O - Oral. (how good is he at it? preference on giving/receiving)
Man’s a munch. You can’t tell me otherwise. Y’all seen the videos of him sticking his tongue out after punching the shit out of the other players? Yeah.
And when this man eats pussy, he eats pussy. He won’t back out of it even when you’re pushing his head away because you’re too sensitive from all the orgasms he already pulled out of you. He loves to overstimulate you because he knows that it’s only going to make you cum harder. He’ll suck on your clit, he’ll push his tongue deep inside your cunt, he’ll spit on it, he’ll add fingers, anything to have you shaking and screaming in pleasure. He gets off on making you feel good.
When he’s receiving head, he gets animalistic. He won’t force you to take all of him in your mouth because he knows it’s too much for you and it won’t fit without a struggle, but if you’re freaky like that and tell him that it’s okay if he wants to fuck your throat, he will. He’ll still be careful though. He’ll push his hips into your face or wrap your hair in his fist and make you take him deep, fucking your mouth hard and fast, until you’re left gagging and crying. Happy tears of course.
P - Pace.
Going with the flow is his motto when it comes to sex. If the atmosphere is more romantic, he’ll make sure to give it to you slow and seductive. He’ll make love to you.
If you’re being a brat though, he’ll treat you like one. Disobedience needs punishment. And he’ll edge you for hours, deny you orgasms, just to teach you how to behave next time. It boosts his ego so much when you’re begging him to let you cum. He loves it.
When he’s mad and needs a way to relieve some stress or anger, he’ll also go for a more aggressive sex session.
Q - Quickie.
Not a big fan. Will not refuse it, but he prefers to take his time. Taking his time in making you feel good is one of his ways of showing his love to you.
R - Risk. (how risky is he?)
Living on the edge is what pumps him. He’s convinced that life is made to experience things. So if something pops into his mind and it excites him, he’ll want to give it a go. With that being said, he’s game for taking risks.
S - Stamina.
Matt has a lot of stamina. His workouts and his hockey career are always pushing him to do better, to endure more. And when it comes to sex, as long as he has the time, he could fuck you all day.
T - Toys.
He’s interested in them. He’s thinking of buying you a vibrator so you can use it when he’s away or if he wants to make things a bit more spicy when you’re having sex.
U - Unfair.
The thing about Matt is, he likes to tease you. He loves playing with you because he loves the look on your face and how whiny you get when you’re frustrated. He thinks it’s cute.
V - Volume. (how loud is he in bed)
He’s not making as much noise as you’d like. He’ll moan, groan, even whimper sometimes, but nothing more than that. It’s not because he doesn’t enjoy the sex though, he just gets too focused on his job. All this man wants is to make you feel good.
W - Wild card (random headcanon)
Wants to try cockwarming. There’s nothing better for him than being buried in your tight, wet pussy. He knows he’s probably not going to resist for too long before he’ll start fucking you. But if he could, he’d have you staying on his cock all the time.
X - X-ray. (what’s under)
No one can tell me he doesn’t have a huge cock. He’s easily above average, with a juicy mushroom tip. Girthy. Will have you struggling to sit down or walk for several days.
Y - Yearning (sex drive)
His sex drive is through the roof. In general, he enjoys sex. He’s not crazy about it, he will still live if he doesn’t get it But if he loves the person he’s with, he wants it all the time.
Z - Zzz
Dead asleep as soon as he pulls out and crashes beside you. He always gives it his all, but when he gets tired he is knocked out. He’ll put his hand on your tits and sleep like that.

warnings?: cursing, wine, oral sex male receiving, kissing
masterlist and part two
-
you and matt sat distant on the long sectional long after everyone had left your 21st birthday celebration. you’d been best friends with the boy as long as you could remember so you asked if he would stay the night with you like old times.
“this wine is actually really good.” matt says breaking the silence.
“yeah it is, that’s why i bought it.” you smirk.
“now y/n, how did you buy this wine last week? just a question.
“well let’s just say the ‘how’ is cut up in my garbage right now.” you giggle, cracking a smile.
“you sneaky sneaky girl.” you points at you.
“as always.” you giggle, downing the rest of your glass. the thing about wine that differed from the other things you drank is that it makes you honest. you were barely even buzzed, but wine brought out the honesty in you.
“wow it’s so crazy, i’m 21 and i still haven’t even actually hooked up with a guy.” you scoff.
“you’re not a virgin though? i’m confused.” he adds.
“well i guess the better word would be properly. he stuck it in, nut, and then left.”
“wow.”
“did i really never tell you that?” you ask, sitting up on the couch and setting your glass on the coffee table.
“no?” he replies giggling, doing the same.
“it’s kind of embarrassing.” you reply as he gets up and sits closer to you on the couch.
“why’s it embarrassing?”
“it just is. i don’t wanna be 21 and completely unexperienced.” you say as silence rung out in your living room.
“hey matt?” you ask, breaking the silence.
“yeah.”
“can you….. teach me some….. stuff?” you asked practically in a whisper, a blush burning on your cheeks as you stared at the floor.
“teach you what?” he replies, using his fingers to guide your gaze back to his.
“i don’t know, i just-“
“yes i can y/n, i was messing with you.” he giggles.
“oh okay.” you reply, the blush burning darker.
“don’t be shy now y/n, you can trust me.” he says brushing your hair behind your shoulders.
“i know i can trust you matt, i’m just nervous.” you reply picking at the skin of your nails.
“would you feel more comfortable if we went to your room?” he asks softly, running a soft hand up your thigh. you only nod in response as the tall boy stands up in front of you.
“come here.” he mutters as you reach for him. he picks you up, your legs latching around his waist as he carries you to your bedroom. carefully, he shuts your door behind you and stops in his tracks.
“look at me pretty girl.” he says, doing as you’re told you pick your head up off his shoulder and lock eyes with him, a smile spreading across his face before locking his lips with yours gently and respectfully. you moved your hands to grab onto his face, begging to deepen the kiss. you had never imagined you’d be in this position with your lifelong best friend but at the same time it felt so familiar to you. you felt safe in his embrace and absorbed the love from his affection deeply. regretfully, he breaks apart the kiss, setting you down carefully on the bed. you sat up on your knees and looked up at the brunette who looked down on you with a soft gaze in his eyes.
“now what is it you want me to teach you exactly?” he asks, squatting down to your level, his hand placed gently on top of your hand that rested on your thigh.
“oh um, anything. i really don’t mind.” you reply shyly.
“do you feel comfortable getting undressed for me or is that not okay?” he asks.
“i think im comfortable.”
“okay just take off some layers until you want to stop, is that okay?” he asks gently and you nod, removing your shirt revealing the black lace bra you’d bought yourself for your last birthday. you notice matt also removing his shirt.
“matt you don’t have t-“
“yes i do. it’s only fair. if you’re gonna be vulnerable, so am i.”
“okay.” you reply, blushing as you shimmied out of your jean shorts, him removing his jeans and tossing them to the side.
“i think this is good.” you say, very aware of your bareness.
“okay.” he says as you look back up at him.
“do i look okay?” you ask with a gleam in your eye.
“gorgeous.” he smiles, bending over and reconnecting your lips softly for a few moments.
“okay, i’m gonna teach you how to give head, that alright?” he asks and you nod eagerly. now that you’d seen him in this light, you didn’t think you’d ever be able to see him another way, and that didn’t bother you.
slowly, he pushed the waistband of his boxers down, revealing his soft cock. at first glance he was already big and that made you nervous as to what was to come.
“give me your hand.” he asks quietly and you do so. gently, he wraps your hand around his length.
“okay, now carefully but not too carefully, jerk me off.” he says and you do so, pumping your hand slowly up and down his cock. his hand wrapped back around yours moving you a little bit faster before letting go. you keep the speed and feel the blood begin to rush to his length. he thickened in your hand quickly as he muttered and mumbled words you couldn’t make out above you.
“you’re doing so good y/n.” he says.
“you’re so big matt.” you say before looking up at him with a smirk on his face.
“give me your hand.” he requests and you do so, removing your hand from his dick and holding it up to him. slightly, he bends over and spits a puddle of saliva into your hand.
“now do that again.” he continues and you do so, working the liquid into the skin of his swollen cock.
“good girl.” he mutters, a blush creeping into your cheeks once again.
“okay, are you ready babygirl?” he asks, using two fingers to tilt your chin upward to him.
“yes.” you reply lowly.
“i’ll start easy on you, open your mouth a little bit and stick out your tongue a bit as well.” he says and you do so, earning a nod of approval from the brunette.
“now take me into your hand, and put the tip onto your tongue.” he says and you do as your told, placing his wet, pink tip onto your tongue.
“now if you want you can brush your tongue along the underside of my tip,” he says and you begin to do so, “yeah just like th- fuck, it’s so-“
“sensitive.” you smirk, taking him away from your mouth for a moment.
“yeah, that.” he replies as your put it right back wear it was.
“now you can kind of take your tongue where ever you like, you can move all the way down to the base or you can circle the tip, whatever feels comfortable to you.” he says and you act upon his words, dragging your wet, warm tongue down his shaft to the base of his cock. you moved your way back up, circling the tip just like you’d been told.
“is this okay?” he asks, holding your hair in a ponytail.
“mhm.” is all you reply as you work your tongue magic on his thick cock.
“now, if you’re ready, you’re gonna protect your teeth with your lips and start to take some of the shaft into your mouth.” he says and you do so, making an ‘o’ shape with your mouth you take some of him into your mouth, continuing to pay close attention to detail with your tongue.
“yes just like that.” he grunts as you make it just less than half way down his shaft before you begin to feel your gag reflex. quickly, you take him out of your mouth and look up at him.
“am i doing okay?”
“you are doing perfectly, is something wrong?”
“no, just don’t know how much i can take.” you sigh, avoiding a giggle,
“try to take a little more for me baby.” he asks and you nod, carefully taking him back into your mouth, pushing more of his cock in. you make it a moment further before gagging and pulling him out, spit webbing from your lips.
“god, i’m so close im sorry.” you sigh out.
“don’t apologize, here, hold onto your thumb like this, it’s shuts off your gag reflex.” he says and you copy his hand. using your free hand, you take his cock back into your mouth, your other hand gripping mercilessly onto your thumb, praying that maybe you could impress him. much to your surprise, you took him with ease, his happy trail tickling your nose as he bottomed out in your throat. you pulled him out with a pop, breathing heavily to get air back, not realizing you’d been holding your breath.
“that was so good baby, do you wanna try bobbing your head?” he asks and you do so, trying to mimic the same rhythm you used with your hand, your tongue tracing the bottom of his thick shaft.
“god you’re amazing.” he groans as his grip on your hair grows tighter, not pressuring you to move any other way. you continued this seemingly perfect routine, his moans and grunts growing closer together, his cock swelling even more. you could tell he was about to bust, as much as he didn’t want this night to end.
“oh fuck i’m gonna cum y/n.” he says lowly as you take him all the way, his warm, milky climax spurting down your throat, you pulled him out slightly, allowing him to finish on your tongue before you impressively, swallow his nut.
“you’re a fucking natural.” he scoffs, a smile spreading across his face as you wiped your lips from the mixture of saliva and cum.
“really?”
“god yes.” he says, tackling you to your bed pressing sweet kisses all over your face.
“so, can we do this again sometime?” you ask, face inches away from him.
“oh yeah? what’s our next lesson?” he replies.
“what about that, but on me?” you smirk.
“so the next one is you grading me?” he giggles.
“duh.” you reply, “or maybe we can call it the final, and we can go all the way?” you continue and he hugs you to his chest tightly.
“are you sure?”
“yes matt, i trust you. god you’re amazing.”
“i just can’t wait to show you the good sex you actually deserve. i in fact will not, stick it in, nut and then leave.” he laughs.
“well id hope not, better live up to the hype.”
“i won’t let you down.” he smirks reconnecting your lips.
“we never specified when this next ‘lesson’ was.” he sighs.
“soon. very soon.” you reply.
it was moments later that the two of you got cozy, deciding that maybe you should sleep together in the bed instead of a few feet apart on a sectional in your living room. and maybe you shouldve done this way sooner than your 21st birthday party.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION MATT REMPE
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: fem!reader x matt rempe
summary: matt makes sure to go all out for your birthday, hoping to make it one to remember.
warnings: sweet sweet fluff, reader not liking her birthday, brief crying (but out of happiness!)
wc: 1.4k
notes: fun little birthday celebration with matt :)
Tumblr media
The morning light filters softly through the curtains, and before you’re fully awake, you feel the gentle brush of lips against your cheek, the warmth of a breath close to your skin. Blinking your eyes open, you see Matt’s face hovering inches away, his expression tender as he places soft, sleepy kisses along your forehead, down to the tip of your nose. “Happy birthday, beautiful,” he murmurs, his voice low and full of affection.
Still half-asleep, you reach for him, pulling him closer, savoring the warmth of his embrace and the scent of him — a mix of his cologne and vanilla. You’re not entirely sure why he smells like a cupcake, but your sleepy brain doesn’t think about it much. The last thing you want to do is leave this cocoon, this perfect moment wrapped in Matt's arms. A contented sigh escapes your lips as you press your face into his shoulder, barely able to articulate anything beyond a soft, murmured, “Can't we just stay like this all day?”
You’ve never been one to celebrate your birthday with much fanfare. The thought of a day centered entirely around you has always felt a bit uncomfortable, and you’d rather let it quietly slip by with minimal fuss.
Matt chuckles softly, tightening his hold as if he, too, wants to savor every second of this peaceful morning. “That’s exactly why I planned something low-key, just the two of us,” he whispers, his fingers tracing gentle patterns on your back. You can’t help but feel your heart warm at his thoughtfulness. He knows you so well — how the attention of a big celebration has always made you feel slightly on edge, how you’d rather not be the center of it all.
As he pulls you a little closer, he murmurs, “I know you don’t like all the fuss… but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to make today special for you.”
He presses a couple of kisses along your jawline, hands holding your frame tightly to his. Suddenly he pulls back as you let out a disappointed groan. “As much as I’d love to stay here all day… I actually planned something for you.” he says, his voice carrying the faintest trace of excitement, “And I put a lot of effort into it so you’re going to have to get up and at least see it once.”
Reluctantly, you let him pull you out of bed, the world outside seeming less enticing than the warmth you were leaving behind. He wraps an arm around your shoulders as you shuffle down the hallway, staying snug in Matt’s hoodie you slept in last night. When you reach the living room, your breath catches.
The room is transformed. Streamers drape from every corner, a riot of colors filling the space, and a little banner in your favorite colors stretches across one wall, proudly proclaiming, Happy 22nd Birthday! Balloons in every shade are placed around the space, while small decorations and a few scattered confetti glitters on the coffee table. For a moment, you’re speechless, turning slowly to take it all in.
“Did you seriously do all of this?” you manage, looking at Matt, feeling almost shy.
“Of course I did,” he says, looking at you with a mixture of pride and a soft, almost vulnerable joy that takes your breath away. “Oh, you have to come see the best surprise.”
You follow him to the kitchen which is where you see a cake sitting on the counter. It’s a beautiful mess: the frosting uneven but clearly, painstakingly applied, a little lopsided, and decorated with a generous helping of sparkling sprinkles. He must have worked on it for hours, trying his best, determined to make it perfect just for you. The sight of it, so personal, so filled with love, tugs something deep within you.
The gratitude, the overwhelming sweetness of it all, builds so suddenly that you feel your eyes start to prick with tears. You try to blink them away, but it’s too late; Matt notices. His face changes, his brow furrowing as he steps closer, hands finding your shoulders.
“Hey, what’s wrong? Did I…did I do something wrong?” There’s a thread of worry in his voice as he reaches up to gently cup your face, his thumb brushing away the single tear that’s escaped down your cheek.
You shake your head, a tremulous laugh bubbling up. “No, no… it’s just… no one's ever done anything like this for me before.” You gesture around the room, the carefully decorated chaos, the little details so clearly made with you in mind. “All of this… it just means so much.”
Relief floods his features, and he pulls you into a warm, solid embrace. His hands press firmly into your back as if anchoring you to him. “Well, it's your birthday, and it only comes once a year," he says, his voice soft but steady, almost as if he’s saying it to himself. “So, of course I’m going all out. You deserve every second of it.”
You sink into his embrace, feeling the truth of his words settle around you like a warm blanket. The tears fall a little harder because of that — the sheer simplicity of being seen, of being loved without conditions.
You pull back, a smile breaking through the tears as you look up at him. “Thank you,” you whisper, your voice soft but full of emotion. You lean in, pressing a gentle kiss on his cheek, then another just shy of his lips. It’s a little kiss, but it carries all the gratitude, affection, and quiet awe you feel for him in this moment.
His eyes meet yours, his cheeks tinted a little pink as he grins back, clearly touched. “You’re so worth it,” he says quietly, giving your hand a reassuring squeeze before nodding toward the cake. “Now, let’s eat some of this masterpiece, yeah? And then — you still have to open your present!”
You both settle at the kitchen counter, laughter filling the room as you cut into the cake, teasing Matt about the abundance of sprinkles. You take a bite, tasting the slightly sweet, perfectly imperfect frosting. It’s delicious, mostly because you know he made it himself. “Matt, this is incredible, thank you.”
As you savor another bite of cake, Matt fidgets slightly, his eyes glimmering with eager excitement. He clears his throat, before reaching into his pocket. “Okay,” he says, looking almost bashful, “now for the real present.”
Matt pulls a small, velvet box from his pocket and places it on the counter between you two. Your eyes widen in surprise, and you look at him with a mix of curiosity and excitement. “Matt…” you start, but he cuts you off gently.
“Just open it,” he says, his voice soft.
You pick up the box, feeling a small flutter in your chest as you lift the lid. Inside, nestled in the soft fabric, is a gold charm bracelet with a single small charm dangling from it — a tiny, intricately detailed ice cream cone. You gasp softly, instantly remembering your very first date with Matt when you got ice cream, talking for hours until the diner had to kick you out.
“It reminded me of our first date,” he says, watching your reaction closely, “and every time you look at it, I want you to think about all the other firsts we’re going to have together.” He gives a soft smile. “And, I thought… maybe over time, you could add more charms. Little things that remind you of us — of things we’ve done together, memories we’ve made.”
His words settle over you, filling your heart in a way that’s almost overwhelming. Each little charm to come would be a reminder of this — of him, of this journey you were both on together.
You look up at him, feeling your voice catch slightly. “Matt, this is… it’s perfect. I love it,” you say, reaching for his hand. “Every time I look at this, I’ll think of you. Of us.”
He breathes a sigh of relief, his smile widening as he gently fastens the bracelet around your wrist. “Good,” he says quietly, leaning in to press a tender kiss to your forehead. “That was the idea.”
You lean back, the weight of the bracelet on your wrist a reminder of everything Matt has done to make this day special for you, to help you enjoy your birthday again. As you look up at him, your heart swelling with emotion, you can’t help but smile.
You press another soft kiss to his lips. “I think this might just be my best birthday yet.”

here’s a little drabble about his playoff debut + his mullet bc i’m going insane over it
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“That was fucking amazing,” you raved, following Matt into his apartment.
He laughed. “I know, you’ve said it like a million times already.”
“I feel like I really have to emphasize how great that was,” you said, closing the door behind you.
Matt collapsed onto the couch, patting the cushion beside him. You sat down next to him, and he wrapped an arm around your shoulders, pulling you closer.
“I’m glad you’re staying over tonight,” he said, kissing the top of your head.
“Me too.” You tilted your head back to look him in the eyes. “You played really well tonight, Matt.”
He grinned, his thumb stroking the 73 on the sleeve of your jersey. “Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah, it was a really great goal. Everyone loved it. They love you. I’ve never seen a crowd like that one before. I mean, they were literally screaming your name.”
“Were you?”
You nodded. “Oh, yeah. I was screaming the loudest. I stood up and started jumping around,” you admitted. “I hope I didn’t scare your mom.”
He shook his head, smiling wide. “No, I don’t think you did. She loves you. She told me so when you went to the bathroom at dinner.”
“Really?” Your eyes widened. “I thought I was being totally awkward.”
“Not at all. You did great. Plus, now that she’s seen you watch a hockey game, I think she knows that you are not awkward.”
You shrugged. “I guess that’s true. Let me be honest with you, Matt,” you said, shifting on the couch so that you were fully facing him.
“Shoot.” His arm shifted from the top of the couch as he reached out to play with the hem of your jersey.
“The playoffs look good on you.”
He laughed. “That’s it?”
“Yes!” you said. “You were having so much fun out there. I could tell. You love this game, like really love it. That’s what I love about you.”
“Love?” He said, bringing a hand up to brush your hair away from your face. “Are you saying you love me?” He said it like he was joking, but you knew what he wanted to hear.
“Yes.” You rolled your eyes. “That’s exactly what I’m saying.”
“Good.” He took hold of your face and pulled you in to kiss your lips.
You leaned forward, deepening the kiss. You rested one hand on his shoulder and the other in his hair. The kiss was slow and passionate. You could tell he was tired, but he still wanted to take his time.
You pulled softly on the ends of his hair, and he whined into your mouth. You pulled away then, giving both of you a moment to catch your breath.
You rested a hand on his chest and brought the other back to your side. You were feeling fairly confident until you glanced up to his face and saw the way he was looking at you.
He was staring at your lips, his pupils dilated. You loved his deep brown eyes. They were so pretty. His lips were parted slightly, and his cheeks were a little red. His hair was in his face, partially blocking an eye.
“You know what else I love?” you asked softly.
“Hm?” His eyes snapped back up to yours, and the adoration in them made your heart beat faster.
“I love this mullet.” You ran your fingers through his hair again, pushing it off of his forehead and twirling the ends on your fingers.
He gave you a huge smile. “You think it looks good?”
“I think it looks hot.”
“You really think so, baby?”
You nodded. “I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it.”
“And that’s what I love about you.” He leaned back in to kiss you again, this time more passionately. You could feel him pour all his love into the kiss.
He pulled you onto his lap by your hips, his hands going to your hair as you placed yours on his chest.
You let yourself get lost in Matt, and you forgot about anything outside of this moment.

pairing(s): fem!reader x Matt Rempe
warnings: not proofread, public sex (they don’t get caught), unprotected sex, and cock riding
WC: 557
Notes: first time writing for Matt. Not good at writing smut but I’m trying lol. this was rushed. anyways hope you guys like it<3
As you stood in the hotel room, your gaze swept across the space in search of a suitable cover-up. You felt a sense of urgency, as Matt had been pleading with you to join him at the beach for quite some time. Despite your best efforts, you were unable to locate any suitable options among your belongings. In an act of desperation, you reached for Matt's light blue dress shirt from his suitcase and quickly threw it on, hoping it would suffice as a beach cover-up.
walking out towards the balcony, you find Matt on his phone with his feet up on the table, shirtless, wearing his swimming shorts that made his abs look so hot. Feeling yourself become wet you squeeze your thighs together wishing it your 6’7 boyfriend was between them.
“Hi baby, you ready to go?” You asked him, grabbing the bag that was placed nicely beside him as Matt’s eyes trail down to your bikini and his dress shirt. He bites his lips, dropping his phone onto his lap to bring you closer to him.
“Give me a minute” He muttered against your stomach.
Bringing his hands to rest on your ass, his lips continue to dance along your skin on your stomach, enjoying the smoothness.
“Matty, don’t do this to me” you whined, wanting him to touch you where you needed him the most. Running your hands through his hair you tug at it when you feel him pull your bottoms to the side.
“I need you, baby.” He said, pressing his fingers onto your clit, moving in circular motions as your body begins to feel impossibly hot.
Matt’s hands leave you pull his shorts down, fishing out his hard member and pumping it with his right hand. You moan at the sight of the precum oozing out of his slit, saliva starts to pool quickly in your mouth. “You wanna ride me out here on the balcony” He ask with a smirk.
“Omg yes, please” You nodded eagerly.
“I’m not gonna last long just letting you know” Matt says as he continues to pump himself. quickly getting rid of you bottom you toss them aside not caring where it lands. His hands grip your waist to help you sink down onto his cock. Without any warning he starts to thrust up into you harshly.
“God I love your cock” you moaned, bringing your lips to kiss and bite at his jaw gently when you hear Matt groan, suck on his Adam's apple and kiss down to his collarbones leaving little marks.
“I’m so close, baby”
“Oh yeah? You gonna let me cum inside?” He slaps your ass when he feels you clench around him. When You feel him start to slow down, you place both of your hands on his chest and bounce hard on his cock.
“Yes. Come inside me, Matty. Make a mess”
You feel his cock swell, hitting that spot he knows so well, ejaculating hard, his hot, sticky mess coats your insides and he grabs your hips suddenly.
“Cum, baby- you can do it”
your head tips back letting out a silent cry when you cum. Matt takes his dress shirt off your body to unclip your bikini top and expose your breasts. He sucks harshly on your nipple causing you to moan out loudly.
“Round 2?”

(Not edited)
Summary: Matt was playing video games with his friends. Y/n wants to get his attention. She comes over to him when he’s playing video games and decides to give him a blowie. He’s playing with some friends, so he has to be quiet.
1.2k words
_
“Come on guys! You guys’ fucking suck, your literal dog shit. I had two guys on me, and I called for backup but none of you guys came to help.” Matt clicks some buttons on the controller in his hand before reaching up to adjust the mic on his headset so it sat in front of his mouth more.
“Oh, don’t fucking start this shit with me again. Just start the next game and when I call for help you guys better show up.” He shakes his head and lets out a laugh to the voice in his headphones.
He’s been playing video games for the past four hours now. you had no problem with it because it gave you time to do the things that you wanted to do like take a bath and read some of your book. It also allowed you to take a nap that you normally don’t get to take because Matt always bugs you with stupid shit.
but now you have woken from your nap. And after getting a cup of water and a snack you realized that you got nothing else to do. One thing you love to do when Matt is playing video games is to sit and watch him. you take your water and snack over to the couch and sit next to Matt.
“Hi baby. How was your bath and nap?” He asks, giving you a quick kiss on the cheek before going right back to his game.
“It was good!” You grab an apple slice and bring it to his mouth so he can eat it. He takes it and chews it fast before he’s back to yelling at his friends.
You lay down on the couch so now your head is resting in his lap so you’re looking up at him. you finish eating your apples, watching him as he plays. You then turn so you’re facing his stomach. Coming up with a plan to entertain yourself.
You give him a fake yawn and pull his shirt over your head. Making him believe that you are just going to take another nap. You move your head in his lap trying to find a comfortable position to lay it. He lets out a grunt before reaching up to mute himself.
“Baby what are you doing?” he pulls his shit up so he can see your face.
“Getting comfortable so I can take a nap on my favorite pillow.” You pull his shirt back over your face not giving him a chance to respond.
You could hear muffled yelling coming out of his headphones. It doesn’t take him long to go back to his game. You lean forward and plant little kisses on his stomach.
He lets out a little hum. You kiss him harder, sucking and pulling at his skin so that it would leave marks. He mutes himself again.
“Stop that. You’re making me hard and I’m trying to play my game. give me like a few more games and then I’ll give you all the attention you need.” You send him a little pout.
“But I want you In my mouth now.” You move off the couch and kneel in front of  him. he was wearing a pair of basketball shorts. You slid them down enough to take his cock out of his pants.
“I’m going to suck you off while you play your game. so, unmute and play your game.” you told him before wrapping your mouth around the head of his cock. He lets out a hiss before reaching up and unmuting his microphone. You were taking your time knowing that it would make him frustrated.
“Come on guys lets finish this thing up. I’m getting tiered and want to go take a nap.” Matt says before you decide to take him fully into your mouth. His head tips. You could hear the muffled voices talking to him, but you know he wasn’t listening to what they were saying.
You start to move your head slowly. Taking your time and enjoying the feeling of having him in your mouth. you move your head so you’re now sucking the tip of his cock. The taste of precum hits your mouth.
You could tell he struggling to not make a sound. His game basically forgotten now. he tosses his controller to the side. his hand grabs your hair, and he pushes your head down. The tip of his cock hitting the back of your throat.
“Guys I got to go.” his free hand hits a few buttons on the controller shutting off the console before tossing his headphones to the side landing next to the controller.
“Fuck you couldn’t have waited, could you? you hand to have my dick in your mouth. You nasty little slut. But this is what you wanted right? To be a slut and let the guys hear you sucking my cock?” his hand keeps your head down on his cock. You struggle to take in a breath, giving him two taps on his leg to let him know. He pulls you off his cock and makes you look up at him.
“You pretty little slut. You know the guys ask about how good you are in bed all the time, but I never tell them because your mine. Now, you’re going to suck my cock just how I like it or I’ll make you sleep on the couch tonight. Does that sound good?” You try to nod a yes but his hand that’s still griping your hair stops you.
“Yes.” Your voice also failing you, but he takes it anyway.
“Good fucking girl.” He pushes your head down so his tip is touching your lips. you open your mouth taking him in. your hand wraps around the base of his cock. he pulls your hand away and pushes your head down further. You don’t mind when he pushes your head because you know that if you told him, you didn’t want that he would stop. But you love it when he’s like this so you don’t really care at the moment.
You let him take control for a bit. He will occasionally, thrusting up into your mouth instead of pushing your head down on him. You could tell that now he’s getting closer to cuming.
His cock is twitching in your mouth and his grip on your hair his letting up. You bring your hands up, so they are now resting on his stomach. You drag your nails around his stomach, you could feel his stomach tense up.
He pulls you off his cock. His hand going from your hair to jerking himself off. The tip of his cock now resting on your tongue as you wait for him to let go.
“Fuck. Fuck. Yes! Oh god.” His cum lading on your tongue. Some of it sliding down your chin as you swallow what’s in your mouth.
“Fuck such a good girl for me huh? Always want to please me, don’t you? now go to the bedroom so I can fuck you for being a brat.” You stand up leaning forward to give him a kiss on his lips.
you step back and give him a wink. Taking your top off and sliding your bottoms off too before turning around and walking to your room.
“Brat!” He yells out from behind you.

I Bet You Think About Me Part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Braden Schneider x Reader x Matt Rempe
WC: 5K
Summary: We receive the love we think we deserve, too bad Matt doesn’t know that
A/N: THIS IS PART TWO OF THIS ANGST FIC
The air in Matt Rempe’s apartment was filled with the scent of garlic and simmering tomatoes as Y/N stirred the pasta sauce on the stove. A soft laugh escaped her lips as Matt tried, and failed, to flip a piece of dough in the air like a professional chef.
“You’re gonna hurt someone with that,” she teased, watching as the dough flopped onto the countertop.
Matt grinned sheepishly, his tall frame hunched over the counter as he tried to salvage the mess he’d made. “Guess I should stick to hockey.”
“Maybe,” Y/N laughed. “But hey, points for effort.”
It had started out as a simple evening. After
A stressful media day, Y/N hadn’t wanted to be alone. Matt, always the easygoing one, had offered to cook dinner, promising to make her laugh and distract her from the emotional weight of the day. And he had. His humor, his lightness—it was a refreshing change from the intensity she had always felt around Braden.
But as the night wore on, something between them shifted. It wasn’t just about pasta anymore. As they ate and shared a bottle of wine, sitting on the couch watching old movies, Y/N began to notice the way Matt looked at her, the way his hand lingered just a little too long on her knee when he laughed, the way her pulse quickened whenever their shoulders brushed. She had never thought of him like this before. Matt had always been the friend, the easygoing guy who could make her laugh. But tonight felt different—more charged.
She wasn’t sure if it was the wine, or maybe the emotional high from finally standing her ground with Braden, but the moment Matt leaned in to kiss her, she didn’t hesitate. His lips were soft, careful at first, as if he were testing the waters. But when she didn’t pull away, the kiss deepened, their bodies gravitating toward each other with an intensity that surprised them both.
Y/N’s hands found the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer as the kiss grew more urgent. The taste of wine lingered on their tongues, and the world outside seemed to disappear. All that mattered in that moment was the heat between them, the way Matt’s hands explored her back, the way her fingers curled into his hair.
They broke apart only long enough for Matt to pull his shirt over his head, revealing the sculpted muscles beneath. Y/N’s breath caught in her throat. She had seen Matt shirtless before—after all, they were friends, and he was a hockey player—but this time, it felt different. Intimate.
Her heart pounded as his hands found the hem of her shirt, lifting it gently over her head and tossing it aside. She felt exposed, but not in a bad way. There was a tenderness in Matt’s eyes, a warmth that made her feel safe. This wasn’t about rushing into anything. This was about being in the moment, feeling connected to someone who cared about her, someone who didn’t make her feel like she had to be anything other than herself.
Their kisses grew hungrier as they collapsed onto the couch, limbs tangled together in a mix of passion and laughter. Y/N’s skin tingled where Matt’s fingers grazed her, and she found herself lost in the sensation, in the way he made her feel like the only person in the world. It had been so long since she had felt this kind of closeness with someone—without the weight of expectations, without the fear of being hurt.
Just as they were teetering on the edge of something deeper, something more, the doorbell rang, cutting through the haze of their shared moment.
Matt froze, his forehead pressed against hers as they both caught their breath. “Who the hell…?” he muttered, his voice thick with frustration.
“I don’t know,” Y/N whispered, her heart still racing.
The doorbell rang again, more insistent this time.
Matt sat up, running a hand through his tousled hair. “I’ll get it. Don’t move,” he said, his tone playful but strained.
He quickly grabbed a shirt from the floor and threw it on before heading to the door. Y/N adjusted her position on the couch, her fingers nervously tugging at the blanket as she tried to calm her racing heart. She didn’t know who would be at the door at this hour, but whoever it was, they had the worst timing in the world.
Matt opened the door, and the color drained from his face.
“Braden,” he said, his voice laced with surprise and tension.
Braden Schneider stood in the doorway, his expression unreadable for a moment. But as his eyes flicked from Matt’s disheveled appearance to Y/N, who was half-covered on the couch with her shirt missing, realization hit him like a ton of bricks.
“Are you kidding me?” Braden’s voice was low, simmering with barely controlled rage.
Y/N’s heart sank. She scrambled to grab her shirt from the floor, hastily pulling it over her head as she stood up. “Braden, this isn’t—”
“Save it,” he snapped, his fists clenched at his sides as he glared at Matt. “I came here to apologize, to try and fix things between us, and this is what I walk into?”
Matt stepped forward, his voice calm but firm. “Braden, you need to chill. This isn’t what you think.”
Braden let out a bitter laugh, his eyes blazing. “Oh, it’s not? Because it sure as hell looks like you were about to screw my ex-girlfriend, man.”
Y/N winced at the harshness of his words, but she forced herself to stay composed. “Braden, we broke up months ago. You don’t get to come in here and act like this.”
His gaze snapped to her, the hurt in his eyes barely masked by the anger. “So that’s it? You’re just gonna move on with him?”
Y/N crossed her arms, fighting to keep her voice steady. “You broke up with me, Braden. You don’t get to be angry now just because I’m not sitting around waiting for you.”
Braden took a step closer, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper. “I made a mistake. I know that now. But this—this isn’t right.”
Matt moved between them, his expression hardening. “Braden, back off. You don’t get to come here and start a fight because you’re jealous.”
“I’m not jealous,” Braden spat, though the fury in his eyes told a different story. “I’m just—this is messed up, Matt. We’re supposed to be friends.”
“And we are,” Matt said, his voice steady but firm. “But you don’t get to control what happens with Y/N. You made your choice.”
Braden’s jaw clenched, and for a moment, it looked like he might throw a punch. But then his shoulders slumped, and the anger seemed to drain out of him, replaced by something else—something broken.
“I loved you,” he whispered, his eyes locking onto Y/N’s.
Her breath caught in her throat. “I know.”
Braden’s voice cracked. “I didn’t know how to handle it. I didn’t know what to do with everything I was feeling. But I can’t stand this. Seeing you with him—”
“Braden, it’s not about you anymore,” Y/N said softly, her heart aching for him, but knowing that there was no going back. “We’re over. You have to let me go.”
For a long moment, Braden just stood there, staring at her as if trying to find the words that would fix everything. But there were no words. There was no fixing this.
Finally, he turned away, his voice hollow as he muttered, “I’m sorry.”
And then he was gone, the door closing softly behind him, leaving Y/N and Matt standing in the aftermath of a storm neither of them had been prepared for.
Matt turned to her, his expression uncertain. “You okay?”
Y/N nodded, though her heart felt heavy. “Yeah,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “I will be.”
Matt could feel the tension building long before they even arrived at the arena. The silence in the car, while comfortable, carried an unspoken weight. Y/N had reassured him over breakfast that morning that they’d be fine, that what happened between them last night didn’t need to be complicated by what others thought, especially Braden. But as they pulled into the parking lot, the reality of it settled in Matt’s gut like a stone.
The moment they stepped out of the truck, eyes followed them. He noticed it right away—the way some of the guys paused in their conversations, how the trainers glanced over as they walked past. The easy, familiar camaraderie that normally greeted Matt on his way into the locker room felt stilted, almost like everyone was holding their breath, waiting to see how this would unfold.
Y/N, for her part, kept her head held high, walking beside him with quiet confidence. She had always been resilient, able to handle the pressure of working in a male-dominated space with grace. But Matt knew this was different. This wasn’t about media work or professionalism. This was about Braden.
He could already feel Braden’s presence before he even saw him. His stomach tightened as they approached the locker room, dread twisting his insides like a knot.
“You okay?” Y/N asked quietly as they neared the door, her hand brushing his arm lightly.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” he said, though his voice sounded strained even to his own ears.
“Matt,” she pressed, stopping just short of the locker room entrance. Her eyes searched his face, soft but serious. “If you’re not okay with this, if you think it’s going to cause too many problems, we can—”
“No,” he interrupted, shaking his head. “It’s not that. I just… I don’t want things to get ugly with Braden.”
Y/N’s expression softened, though there was a flicker of pain in her eyes when he mentioned Braden’s name. “He’ll have to deal with it, Matt. You didn’t do anything wrong.”
He nodded, but the knot in his stomach didn’t loosen. She was right, of course. He hadn’t done anything wrong. But guilt still gnawed at the back of his mind—guilt for how things had played out, for the fight he knew was brewing beneath the surface. For how Braden had looked at him last night, betrayed and hurt.
They reached the door to the locker room, and Matt stopped, glancing down at Y/N. The noise of the team inside hummed through the walls, voices laughing, skates clattering against the hard floors. The normal chaos of pre-practice routines. But today, that noise seemed distant, muted by the anticipation of what was about to unfold.
“Good luck today,” Y/N said, her voice soft and warm, pulling Matt from his thoughts. She stepped closer, and before he could react, she leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. It was a simple gesture, but it felt like a declaration, a quiet reassurance that she was with him.
Matt’s heart stuttered in his chest. He heard someone clear their throat behind him, followed by a few muttered comments from the guys. He knew they were watching—he could feel their stares like a weight on his back. But for a moment, all he could focus on was the warmth of Y/N’s lips on his skin, the way her touch seemed to settle something deep inside him, even with all the chaos swirling around them.
“Thanks,” he murmured, his voice barely audible as she pulled away. “I’ll need it.”
She smiled, and for just a moment, the world felt a little less heavy. But as she turned to head down the hallway toward the media offices, the weight of everything came crashing back. Matt took a deep breath and pushed open the locker room door.
Inside, the usual pre-practice buzz hung in the air, but the moment Matt walked in, the atmosphere shifted. Conversations quieted, and a few of the guys exchanged knowing glances. Jacob, always the first to stir the pot, shot Matt a teasing grin.
“Morning, lover boy,” he said, slinging an arm around Matt’s shoulders as he made his way to his locker. “You and Y/N, huh?”
Matt shrugged him off with a roll of his eyes, trying to play it cool, but his heart was pounding. “Shut up, Jacob.”
But it wasn’t Jacob or the other guys’ comments that bothered him. It was Braden, standing at the far end of the room, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. His eyes were locked on Matt, dark and unreadable. The tension between them was almost suffocating, the weight of everything unsaid hanging between them like a cloud.
Braden hadn’t said anything since last night. Not a single word. But the look on his face told Matt everything he needed to know—he was angry. Hurt. And more than that, betrayed.
Matt tried to focus on getting his gear on, going through the motions like it was just another practice. But his hands shook as he tied his skates, and the knot in his stomach only seemed to tighten as time went on. He could feel Braden’s eyes on him the entire time, could practically hear the accusations running through his old friend’s mind.
Braden was like a storm waiting to break, simmering under the surface, and Matt didn’t know when or how it would explode.
The tension in the locker room only grew as more players filed in, the quiet murmurs turning into hushed whispers about Matt and Y/N, the air thick with speculation. Some of the guys kept it light, teasing Matt about the kiss Y/N had given him outside the locker room. But others, especially those closer to Braden, kept their distance, the lines between friendships subtly shifting as the awkwardness settled in.
As Matt stood up to grab his stick, he couldn’t take it anymore. He walked over to Braden, his heart pounding in his chest. He needed to clear the air, to say something, anything, before this exploded into something worse.
“Braden,” he started, his voice low, trying to keep the confrontation private.
Braden’s eyes flicked up, meeting his, cold and unreadable. “What do you want, Matt?”
Matt swallowed hard. “We need to talk about this. About last night.”
Braden let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head as he pushed off the wall. “Talk about what? How you’re screwing Y/N behind my back? How you couldn’t wait to make a move the second I was out of the picture?”
“It’s not like that, man, it’s been months, yu didn’t think she would stay single forver did you?” Matt said, his voice tight. “Besidese we didn’t plan for this to happen. It just… did.”
Braden’s jaw clenched, his fists balled at his sides. “You didn’t plan for it? That’s your excuse?”
“I don’t want this to cause tension with us.” Matt said, desperation creeping into his voice. “But you broke up with her. You walked away.”
“I know I broke up with her,” Braden snapped, his voice rising, drawing the attention of a few nearby teammates. “But that doesn’t mean you get to just swoop in and take her, because you’ve known her since we we’re dating.”
“Nobody’s ‘taking’ her, Braden,” Matt shot back, his frustration bubbling to the surface. “She’s not a prize you can claim. She’s her own person, and she deserves to move on.”
“Move on?” Braden’s voice cracked, and for a moment, the anger gave way to something raw, something broken. “Is that what this is? You’re helping her move on from me?”
Matt faltered, guilt stabbing at his chest. “It’s not like that.”
Braden took a step closer, his voice lowering to a dangerous whisper. “You were supposed to be my friend.”
Matt’s heart sank. “I still am.”
Braden’s eyes hardened, the anger flickering back. “Not anymore.”
The words hit Matt harder than he expected, cutting deep into the guilt he’d been carrying since last night. He watched as Braden turned away, heading toward his gear with stiff, angry movements, shutting down any further attempt at conversation.
Matt stood there, feeling the weight of the team’s eyes on him, the silence in the room heavy with the tension that had been building for weeks, months even. He knew that what had happened between him and Y/N was going to change things, not just with Braden but with the entire team.
As the guys shuffled around, awkwardly avoiding eye contact, Matt felt a bitter truth settle in his chest: things were never going to be the same again.
And the worst part? He wasn’t sure if it was worth it.
Matt couldn’t shake the weight that had settled in his chest, dragging him down all day. Even during practice, his mind wasn’t on the ice where it should have been. The drills felt mechanical, his movements hollow. Braden’s words had cut deeper than he’d let on in the locker room, and now, as he skated across the rink, his mind was miles away.
Braden’s glare had followed him through every drill, and while Braden never outright said anything after their confrontation, his silence spoke volumes. The rest of the team picked up on it too—guys who were usually cracking jokes around Matt were quiet, their glances nervous, as if unsure where their loyalties lay. Matt had always been one of the guys, but today he felt like he was standing on a frozen lake with cracks forming under his skates.
He wasn’t sure how much longer he could ignore the cracks.
By the time practice ended, Matt was exhausted, not just physically but mentally. Every time he tried to focus on the game, his mind wandered back to Braden, to Y/N, to the mess that was now his life. The weight of it all pressed down on him, making it hard to breathe. He couldn’t even muster the energy to joke around in the locker room like he usually did. Instead, he showered in silence and headed out without saying much to anyone.
He needed space. He needed to think.
Y/N was waiting for him near the media room when he walked out of the locker room. She was sitting on a bench, her phone in hand, scrolling through something. When she looked up and saw him, her face lit up with a soft smile, the kind that usually made his heart race. But today, it only made the knot in his stomach tighten.
He approached her slowly, the air between them heavy with unspoken tension.
“Hey,” she said, standing up and sliding her phone into her pocket. She stepped toward him, reaching for his hand, but Matt hesitated, and she immediately noticed. Her smile faltered. “You okay? You seemed off out there today.”
Matt’s jaw tightened. He could hear the concern in her voice, see it in her eyes. She wasn’t oblivious—she knew something was wrong, but he didn’t know how to start. How to tell her that the weight of everything was pressing down on him so hard, he wasn’t sure he could carry it anymore.
“Matt?” she asked softly, stepping closer, her hand brushing his arm.
He swallowed hard, looking down at her. His heart ached. He had been so sure last night that they could make this work, that what they had was worth the fallout. But now, standing here in the aftermath of Braden’s cold silence and the tension hanging over the team, doubt was creeping in like a shadow he couldn’t shake.
“I don’t know, Y/N,” he said finally, his voice rough. “I don’t know if this is going to work.”
Y/N blinked, her expression falling. “What do you mean?”
Matt rubbed the back of his neck, feeling the weight of everything pressing down on him again. “I mean… this. Us. It’s messing with my head, it’s messing with the team, and I can’t…” He paused, his throat tightening as the words he’d been avoiding all day finally spilled out. “I don’t know if I can handle it.”
Y/N’s face paled slightly, her eyes searching his for answers, but Matt couldn’t even meet her gaze. “Matt, what are you saying?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
He took a deep breath, trying to find the right words, but they were tangled up in the mess of guilt, anger, and confusion swirling inside him. “It’s just… everything with Braden, with the team. It’s been so tense lately and especially after last night, and it’s not just about him being mad at me. It’s affecting the way we’re all playing together. I can feel it. The guys are different now—like they don’t trust me or something.”
Y/N stepped back slightly, her arms folding across her chest as if trying to protect herself from the sting of his words. “So… what? You’re saying you think being with me is going to ruin your career?”
Matt winced at her tone, at the hurt flashing in her eyes. That wasn’t what he meant, but now that she’d said it out loud, the fear of it settled deep in his gut. Was that what this was? Was he scared that choosing her—choosing this—meant sacrificing the life he’d worked so hard to build?
“I don’t know!” Matt blurted, his frustration boiling over. “I don’t know what this is going to do. All I know is that it’s already messing with my head, and if it’s going to mess with the team, then maybe it’s not—”
“Not what?” Y/N interrupted, her voice sharp. “Not worth it? Is that what you’re trying to say?”
Her words hit him like a punch to the gut, and he immediately regretted how this conversation had spiraled. “That’s not what I’m saying,” he said, his voice low, trying to calm down. But he could see the hurt in her eyes, the way she was already pulling away, and it was killing him. “I just… I don’t know how to do this without losing everything I’ve worked for.”
Y/N’s face hardened, her expression shifting from hurt to something colder, sharper. “You mean your career, right? Hockey. The team. Everything but me.”
Matt’s heart clenched, guilt twisting inside him. He wanted to tell her she was wrong, that she was important to him, that last night had meant something real. But how could he deny that fear that had been gnawing at him since practice? How could he pretend that this wasn’t already affecting his focus, his game?
Y/N shook her head, her voice breaking. “I knew this was going to be complicated, but I thought… I thought we could figure it out. You’re the one who initiated all this with me Matt remember that. You started the laughes, whispers, longing stares… the kisses. You chose this Matt, but I didn’t think I’d have to fight for you when I accepted it.”
Her words stung, but they also hit home. He had wanted to believe they could figure it out too. That maybe, somehow, it would all just work out. But now, standing here in the cold, harsh light of reality, he wasn’t sure anymore.
“I don’t want to lose you,” Matt said quietly, his voice hoarse. “But I don’t know how to fix this.”
Y/N’s eyes glistened with unshed tears as she took a step back, creating more distance between them. “Maybe the problem is you’re not even sure if you want to fix it.”
Matt flinched, the truth in her words hitting him harder than anything Braden had said. He wanted to argue, to tell her she was wrong. But the silence that hung between them said everything he couldn’t.
Y/N took a shaky breath, her voice barely a whisper. “If you’re already having doubts, then maybe we shouldn’t be doing this at all.”
Matt’s chest tightened, panic surging through him. This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. He didn’t want to push her away, but it felt like that was exactly what he was doing. And the worst part? He didn’t know how to stop.
“I don’t want that,” he said, his voice rough with desperation. “But everything’s falling apart, Y/N. I don’t know how to hold it all together.”
She looked at him for a long moment, the silence stretching between them, heavy and suffocating. Then, with a small, sad smile, she said, “Maybe you can’t.”
And with that, Y/N turned and walked away, leaving Matt standing there, watching as the one thing he had been so sure of the night before slipped through his fingers.
As he watched her disappear down the hallway, Matt realized with a sinking heart that maybe he wasn’t strong enough to have both—the career he’d always dreamed of and the girl who made him feel like he could be more than just a hockey player.
And the worst part? He wasn’t sure if he deserved either one anymore.
Y/N hadn’t spoken to Matt or Braden in weeks. Not a single word, not even a glance in their direction. She kept things professional—strictly business during interviews, maintaining the calm, collected exterior she had built over the years. But underneath that composed surface was a bitterness she couldn’t shake, a sadness that clung to her like a second skin.
The first few days had been unbearable. Every time she saw Matt on the ice or Braden walking by, the memories flooded her—memories of Matt’s touch, Braden’s words, the way everything had unraveled so quickly. But Y/N had forced herself to push it all down, to focus on her work, on being the best reporter she could be. She had to. If she let herself feel any of it, she wasn’t sure she’d be able to keep it together.
At practice, she kept her distance, standing off to the side with her notebook and microphone, making small talk with the other reporters. The guys on the team noticed her silence, the way she avoided Matt’s and Braden’s eyes, but no one said anything. It wasn’t their place to get involved, and Y/N was grateful for that. The last thing she needed was pity or gossip.
Her interviews with Braden were short, her questions crisp and to the point. She never let her emotions slip, never allowed the tension between them to seep into the professional space they now shared. It felt like walking a tightrope, balancing her feelings with the need to maintain a perfect facade. Every time she saw the flicker of guilt or regret in Braden’s eyes, she forced herself to ignore it, to keep her voice steady and her expression neutral.
With Matt, it was even harder. There had been a time when their banter came naturally, when he could make her laugh during interviews, even when she was trying to be serious. But now, the air between them was thick with unspoken words. She would ask her questions, he would answer, and that was it. No lingering eye contact, no soft smiles. Just two people going through the motions.
She thought about their last conversation every day—the way Matt had said he wasn’t sure if being with her was worth the risk, the way she had felt her heart crack as she realized that he wasn’t willing to fight for them. Her anger toward Braden had simmered, but it was Matt’s doubt that had left her feeling hollow. She had been so sure of him, of them, and now it felt like she was grasping at something that had never really been hers to begin with.
One day, after a particularly brutal practice, Y/N found herself in the hallway near the locker rooms, waiting for Matt to finish an interview with another reporter. She watched from a distance, her heart twisting at how tired he looked, the strain clear in the lines of his face. He wasn’t playing like himself latelyeveryone on the team had noticed it. He was still good, still Matt, but something was off. She couldn’t help but wonder if it had to do with her, if he was struggling as much as she was to pretend like nothing had happened.
When Matt finished his interview, he glanced her way, his eyes catching hers for the briefest second before she quickly looked away, turning her attention back to her phone. She felt his gaze linger, and for a moment, she thought he might walk over, say something, anything. But he didn’t. He turned and walked down the hall toward the locker room without a word.
The silence between them felt heavier every day. And yet, neither of them seemed to know how to break it.
Braden was no different. Their interactions were purely professional—stilted, formal, devoid of any of the tension that had once simmered between them. But every time she saw him, she was reminded of the hurt he had caused, the way he had torn her apart with his fear and his indecision. He had broken up with her because he hadn’t been able to handle the depth of their connection, and now that it was over, she could see that he regretted it. But it didn’t matter. He had made his choice, and so had she.
Still, there were moments—small, fleeting moments—when Y/N would catch herself watching Matt on the ice, or she would see Braden laughing with the guys and feel a pang of something she didn’t want to admit was longing. She missed them. She missed the way things had been before everything had gotten so complicated.
But every time those feelings surfaced, she buried them deeper, forcing herself to remember that this was for the best. She had told herself that over and over again. Maybe it was better this way, to keep her distance, to focus on her work and leave everything else behind. Maybe she had been foolish to think that she could have it all—her career, her reputation, and a relationship with someone who was tangled up in the same world she was trying to navigate.
And yet, every time she saw Matt or Braden, the doubt crept in. Maybe it wasn’t for the best. Maybe she had given up too soon.
But no matter how much it hurt, Y/N knew that there was no going back now. The walls she had built around herself were too high, and even if either of them tried to break through, she wasn’t sure she’d let them. She had been burned too many times, and the scars were too fresh.
Weeks passed, and the distance between them all only grew. Y/N kept her head down, kept her heart locked away, and did what she did best—pretended like everything was fine. But as the days stretched on, the loneliness gnawed at her, a constant reminder that no matter how hard she tried to separate herself from the pain, it was always there, lurking just beneath the surface.
Because the truth was, no matter how much she tried to convince herself otherwise, she wasn’t sure she could ever truly let go of either of them.
