Arboreal, herbivorous, crepuscular.

The largest known species of skink, they can grow to a total length of 32 inches (81 cm).

Live-bearing, they provide parental care for the young, after birth, as well. Females are known to be fiercely protective of the young.

They are actually social, and live in extended family groups.

This has been scientifically proven to be one of the best lizards, and I love them.

ok so it's not a comic hope thats ok with you but instead it's karkat n nepeta but designed by someone whos madly in love with them both

they're maybe around 30-40 yo? This was mostly just an exercise to give both of them adult designs. uh. i'm only calling it an au because I made bs some explanations behind their designs while i was drawing them. so uh, in this universe, sburb never happens + things that happened because of sburb don't happen either, but the alternian society is relatively unchanged. i dont actually know.. what.. karkat does.. like i cant figure out why he wouldnt be culled but it doesnt really matter i just wanted to draw him looking cool! (i am. open to hear about speculation if you have any). also i figured that Kanaya would go to the brooding caverns after her lusus dies, bc the wiki said her lusus would die regardless of the game taking place n whatever, and probaly do something with the matriorb there idk. thats all tho! ill prolly draw them more and maybe develop more lore as i do ^^;

also! fun fact. i was having trouble designing kk's outfit so i looked in an old antiques catalog book from the internet archive to get inspiration from objects that had the same colors as those that i wanted to use in his design? not sure why i did that. just had a hunch that it would be fun. so this is the object i found that strangely enough inspired kk's fit

haha.. and i also found one for nepeta, though it was easier to design her fit and i didnt actually need a reference object

Okay guys, time to correct and rewrite some stuff about the cosmic AU

I've read my older post developing on the story and this was basically my reaction

So yeah my older posts are full of off details and inconsistencies, brace yourself for some redcons and new concepts

Starting with :

Redcons:

• Cosmic entities are allowed to interact with other mortals ,because I'm sick of the trope of "powerful being who shape the universe must stay out of site at any cost or else it's the end of the world" or whatever, it's just drama for the sake of drama in my eyes and it doesn't add much of a mysterious vibe. Besides it adds more possibilities story wise :) .Let's say that it's something very discouraged among cosmic entities, it's okay if they fuel legends and folklore, but if an entity actively tries to get well known and mediatised in a universe, only then will they get in trouble.

• Stars are no longer needed for someone to turn into a Cosmic entity, basically I put stars in the mix to seem more cosmicy (if that's even a word...) and I didn't really knew what a star was myself, for now on stars are the sparkles you see floating around cosmic entities and are the physical manifestation of said entity's emotion, appearing in different shapes depending on how the cosmic entity feels.

•Cosmic entities are no longer bound to travel in the universes they're assign to, I put this to make their power not too OP. It's useless to restrict them to some universes and it doesn't really add much to anything relevant.

• The Noise is allowed to have more than his TV show as a form of media (such as journals, radio stations and more, although his most popular form of media is his TV show), limiting The Noise to only having a TV show really contradicted with the idea that he's his own boss, he's free, he can now do as he pleases and shoose what he wants to do in his show ( in his universe The Noise was forced to do what his higher ups told him to do, such as filming ads, promoting stuff he didn't necessarily like, and things that generaly bothers and annoys him), nonetheless his show is still limited to the cosmic realm (he does break this rule sometimes and bring random people in his show to torment them and satisfy his sadism but shhhh no one has to know this okay 🤫)

• There's no such thing as a title of ultimate prankster anymore, I just put this notion to solidify the idea that The Noise is an asshole, but does he really need an official title? The Noise is a little shit and his actions are enough to prove that.

• We don't know how old Peppino and The Noise are, honestly I shared their age to solidify the idea that they are older, more mature, and also to prevent people from thinking they were thousands of years old (seriously I hate this fucking trope. You're telling me you lived several times the age of the Earth yet you still act like a 10 years old, like do you live at the same paste of a snail for years to go this fast ?!!!) they both are very recent cosmic entities and are not super old, but you know, you can tell by how they act that they're more experienced and mature (the same goes for every cosmic entity by the way.)

And finally

• Cosmic entities don't have the power to manipulate their environment, this was the first thing that threw me of, like what? No they can't, that would be a huge loop hole ! I guess I put this in there to make them seem more powerful somehow? Cosmic entities can only travel between realms (mortal, cosmic etc, the afterlife is the only realm they are not allowed in) and between universes, they can stitch a ripe in reality but ONLY with a special thread provided by the court, they don't make it themselves. Only far more older and powerful cosmic entities have the ability to manipulate their environment as they pleases (more on older cosmic entities later)

Okay I think that's it for the redcons, if I want to redcon other stuff I'll reblog this post with those modifications.

Now brace yourself for

The new stuff :

• the difference of power and look depending on a Cosmic entity's age : there are three very distinct stage in a cosmic entity’s life: dwarf (they arbor a red color scheme in reference to young stars, it's the stage any cosmic entity starts at, only having the ability to travel between universes), minor ( in reference of smaller constellation, is the state our cosmic duo is at right now as well as most cosmic entities. After some years as a cosmic entity, roughly 20 years, they arbor a more colorful color palette and gain the ability to hear thoughts, feel what other beings feel and summon objects they own, that already exist.) and the last is major (reference to bigger constellations, idk they get bigger, sparklier and more colorful? I haven't figured that out yet... After several hundred years, cosmic entities gets tremendously stronger and gain several abilities, on the physical plain they can create or fix a ripe in reality through shear will, manipulate things around them, twisting and reshape reality as they pleases and create anything on commande [the only thing they can't create are living beings tho], on the spiritual plain, they can see things that are invisible for the average mortal being, that earlier stages couldn't see, such as ghosts, angels, demons and the soul of mortals, and also [this is the creepy part] they can manipulate not only other beings emotions [including their own] but also manipulate others memories, changing events in others mind, create new fake memories or erasing them completely. Basically they become a discount version of Discord from MLP... But they have more ✨✨✨ you know ?)

• How the Pizza Tower cast is seen in the cosmic realm : (Before I start this, keep into your mind that Pizza Tower is the only media in the multiverse, yes it brings down the idea of infinite universes, yes it restrict a lot of possibilities, but I think it's better to work with a smaller scale and focus on stuff that specifically interest me story wise, besides I really didn't want to go on a crossover kind of story 😓) When you think cosmic entity, you think of beings like you see in marvel comics right ? Huge menacing individuals, wise and intimidating, well that's exactly what were cosmic entities before the PT cast arrived. You see since most people in the tower absorbed cosmic particles, some of them became cosmic entities. At first the court didn't like this, what are those cartoon looking creatures doing in a society of grand powerful being? Of course they are some entities who are "cartoony" but not to the extent of Pizza Tower characters. Thankfully the first people of the tower were quite efficient as cosmic entities and set a good image for their "kind", so the court kept turning people of the tower into cosmic entities thinking they were still promising individuals (for most of them at least). In general the cast is considered like the babies of the realm, most of the other cosmic entities are completely fine and interact with them as if they were equals, it's only with the higher ups and oldest cosmic entities that you see they're kind of looked down upon, considered as not really inferiors, but kind of like idiots, not worthy of the title.

• The constellation system: After accomplishing several tasks, cosmic entities are rewarded with stars, but not any kind of stars, these stars appear directly onto the entity's body and serve as some kind of merit badge, gain enough stars and you get a constellation, gain enough constellations and you get your ticket to complete freedom and you can stop watching over universes, giving your spot to younger cosmic entities. It's kind of a retirement system, entities tend to get enough constellations around the end of their minor stage. You'll see on some designs that constellations are not the same depending on'the individual (it's gonna be a huge pain in the butt to keep track of who has what but anything for consistency ✊👁️👄👁️)

And finally and probably one of the darkest aspect of the AU

Loss of memory: To make sure cosmic entities eventually get rid of what attached them to their universe and former life, the court enabled a memory wiping system that will make all cosmic entities forget where they come from, who they knew and what experience they lived, only conserving memories regarding who they are and what they did in life. Things like memoirs and diaries are forbidden and if the court finds out an entity has any of this kind of things, it will be immediately destroyed an the entity will have their memories wiped even faster. Major cosmic entities all have forgotten who they used to know in their earlier life, family, friends, all experience that shaped them into the person they are, with who they are and what they do in life being the only memories they have left.

And that was it for the new stuff, if you made it this far congratulations ✨✨✨. Like for the redcon part if I want to modify this part I'll reblog the modifications.

And now comes the part I shall call

Random trivia ✨✨✨

Like the title suggest, it's literally just random trivia I couldn't efficiently put in the post, regarding anything and everything.

The way someone turns into a cosmic entity is simple, after death, the higher ups of the court propose you to either go to the afterlife or become a cosmic entity, only one version of a being can become an entity (to put that in practice, if Peppino from a random universe decides to become a cosmic entity, it won't be possible for other Peppinos to become a cosmic entity), there can only be two cosmic entities per universe, the entity will start off as a dwarf entity and as time goes on their body and power will evolve.

Cosmic entities may have the ability to hear others though, they generally don't use this power as often as you may think, most of them prefer not to do it because it's a huge violation of privacy and for entities that don't care about privacy, they often find out the "downgrade" of hearing others thoughts... If you know what I mean. Cosmic entities generally prefer just sensing the emotions of other beings around rather then hearing their thoughts expressively.

Here's the main PT cast as cosmic entities, in the chronological order of when they turned into cosmic entities

Of course there are far more beings from the tower but this is why I call them the main cast, most of them have yet to be properly designed but they'll all appear eventually I swear.

All cosmic entities arbor a "scar" on their body hinting toward what killed them in their earlier life. For example the dark gradient you see flowing down cosmic Noise's head hints toward the fact he passed away from a head concussion, or if you were to look at Peppino's back you'd see a huge burn mark looking scar hinting toward the fact that he passed away from a bomb exploding inside of him. In most cases the scare is a warmer color than the rest of the skin ( Watch out tho, the color is warmer in the scientific definition, where red is the coldest and purple is the warmest ☝️.)

The cosmic realm is composed of multiple environment, expending as far as the eye can see, the most populated place is of course the main city : Cosmopolis, a city so huge it's surface equals our Moon ! It's basically your very populated cyberpunk city with huge buildings and bright light, with floating roads and boutiques at every corner. Outside of the city you have the Lux plain, very chill and on the country side, it's the perfect place if you like silence and stargazing, it's also where Peppino's pizzaria is located. Also outside the city you have the Firefly park, like the name suggests, it's a huge park with benches you can sit on of course, lakes you can admire or fish in, everywhere where the grass is a little high you'll see little fireflies fly by. And anything outside the plain and park is not mapped out, all we know is that it seems to go forever and there are several extraordinary places yet to be found and recorded.

Peppino can summon his scooter just by whistling and it will appear out of nowhere and go directly next to him, as if it had a mind of it's own, that goes for Noisette's umbrella too that she uses like a mode of transport like a witch's broom. The Noise tho has to snap his fingers and a limo will appear, crushing anything in it's way in a comically absurd way

Despite being forbidden, very few cosmic entities keep a record of their earlier life with everything they remember, for example Peppino keeps a diary with the name of everyone he knows, what's his relationship with said people and memories of his past life. As long as no one finds those records, he can keep what attaches him to his mortal life.

And finally

The only way to kill a cosmic entity is by saturating them with cosmic particles, too much cosmic particles is very dangerous, if an entity has too much cosmic particles inside of them, their body will slowly melt into a puddle of star and will eventually evaporate into cosmic particles. After that the soul of the entity will go to the afterlife, without the possibility to turn back into a cosmic entity.

And that's all folks!

Congratulations to all the mad lads who made it this far ! , I'm sorry this post has no illustration whatsoever, you had to eat consecutive paragraphs with no yummy colots, I am aware that most people like this AU because of the art, today was not an artsy day alright 😓 !

He's dumb as rocks and loves cheese and eggs. He will army crawl under the couch and scamper fast as lightning up the cat tree. He is the very best bastard boy and submitter loves him so much.

ARTEMIS

This is one of submitter's cats, Artemis. As you can see, she has very long fur and when you touch it it's so soft that it doesn't feel like you're touching anything. She also doesn't really meow, she trills. And when she loves someone very much, she kinda makes a little clicky noise at them? It's tough to explain. She is kind of mean but that's okay. She's also very loving and will bump her head against your arm for pets and allow you to hold her and hug her. However she is also a glutton and will eat almost any human food. Her favorite is sugar and she has been known to steal cotton candy and sugar cookies out of people's hands.

Assorted Artemis facts:

She loves water. She loves getting gently sprayed with water, loves getting in the shower after we're done to play in puddles, and loves getting sprayed with a spray bottle.

On the same note, pipes intrigue her. When we first met her at the humane society, she was listening to the water running through the pipes in the walls. She's always stopped whatever she's doing to listen to any running pipes.

However, she is terrified of thunderstorms and will hide in the basement whenever it's raining too hard.

She loves going outside on her leash! But she has a tendency to lead me through brambles.

She'll have full conversations with you for minutes on end. She knows if she's being asked a question and will trill in response.

These are old photos from when I used to hold a camera down and snap a photo when they leaned in to sniff the lens.

Artemis is our younger cat and true to my prev description of her can be kind of a diva. But sometimes when you come into a room she will do her little chirp-meow and stretch and look up at you with such interest and light in her eyes you can't deny she really loves you. Even if she steals sugar cookies and cotton candy out of people's hands, mews pitifully whenever someone gets butter out, and sometimes knocks cups of pills on the floor to sift through them and see if any are edible. This cat has fur so soft you can barely feel it and spends and extraordinary amount of time keeping it neat and clean. Also, sometimes you can see her pulse through her fur. She prowls around the house like a big cat and loves to nap in sunny spots on the carpet and in the warm spot on the TV box. She doesn't mind being picked up and sometimes she'll even do a little trill as you do.

AEW Dynamite 06/28/23 Review

Jon Moxley vs Tomhiro Ishii

2 great talent. Im interested in seeing if AEW will play ok the Chaos vs BCC storyline we saw start at New Japan Resurgence.

A solid opening to the episode. I wasnt anticipating the angle until after the end of the match, but seeing Eddie make a surprise entrance as an oppurtunity to attack Claudio. I assume in hopes Mox would be too busy with his natch to interfere.

After the commercial break it seems Eddie has calmed down only in that he's not actively approaching Claudio. Instead shoosing to stare at him fron across the ring.

Mox gets the win but its its obvios theres syill tension with him and Eddie Kingston.

Parking Lot Segment

This story between MJF and Adam Cole is going exactly where I think its gonna go.

MJF is going to try and and turn Adam Cole heel, and Cole will try the to the same to MJF conversly turning him Face.

BCC segment with Renee

This was pretty much for Eddie to explain why he went out during Mox's match. I would call it a little selfish for Eddie to expect mox to all of a sudden not want Mox to hang around Claudio.

Orange Cassidy, El Hijo del Vikingo, and Keith Lee vs Jericho Appreciation Society (Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker)

2.Oh havent been on TV for a while I dont think, long enough for me to actually be excited to see them again.

I'm also happy to see El Hijo del Vikingo back on Dynamite, loved Forbidden Door, but I will say there was a distinct lack of Lucha.

Solid match. Tony really just says all babyfaces are friends. I think that's fine.

Hungbucks Dark Order backstage segment

Oooo drama between the Dark Order and Hangman. It makes total sense for Dark Order to be upset with Hangman, especially since the bucks always seem to disappear every time Hangman is in trouble. I'm excited to see what happens with their match.

Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara backstage segment

I didn't have much to say about their match on Sunday. I noticed that they didn't really progress anything regarding Sammy and Jericho, and neither did this segment.

Dark Order vs The Elite

6 AEW originals so I'm very happy to see this match.

I really hope we see a healthy showing of the dark order recruitment specialist.

So I'm not expecting Dark Order to win, and neither am I expecting Hangman and The Bucks to stop tagging together anytime soon, so with that, it is possible Dark Order could be using this opportunity to return. To their roots as villains.

It feels like a possibility with how willing Uno is to attack Hangman while he's on the apron.

Hangman is finally ready to take his opposing team seriously, and he ends up being pinned for a Newark fall the fans were really into.

Just when I typed that John Silver reversed the Buckshot Lariat into his own pin attempt for the second closest near fall in the match.

Adam Page reluctantly pins for the win.

So, instead of giving us more Dark Order, the BCC decides to use this moment to attack the Elite. We do get something though as it seems Dark Order is choosing not to do anything for Hangman. Even Kongston is out here to fight off the BCC.

Looks like Forbidden Door wasn't the last we seen of Don either since him and his new son Konosuke Takeshita are out here to be apart of Jon's official challenge for BLOOD AND GUTS.

I'm excited for Blood and Guts forsure. I'm not sure if it's just going to be Eddie instead of Kenny on the side of the Elite, but if so there's definitely room to add another player for each team. Especially since it seems Don's whole character is to be an Antagonist for Kenny's story.

There's a lot of ways this story could go, and I'm glad there are a lot of different threads that connect to the drama each character has had so far in AEW.

Jungle Boy Jack Perry Promo

Now that he's a Heel Jack Perry wears sunglasses. I guess now that we have MJF to do the Tag Team storyline, and Christian is on Collision, we need someone to just go out there and talk shit for a whole segment.

Never mind, we're getting a youpeople promo.

After talking about Hook for a minute, Hook makes his entrance, and Perry hightales it out of the ring.

We cut to back stage where Jack Perry barely escapes in his get awar car

Sammy Guevara Sign Promo

He's cutting a promo on sting. I like how they are able to use this as a way to both; let Sammy cut a promo and get the Advertisements out the way.

Ruby Soho vs Alexia Nicole (Who didn't get a lower third)

This was supposed to be a match against Britt Baker, so I'm not expecting this to be a very competitive match. We'll probably see Ruby use this as more of an angle to call out Britt.

Ruby ends this match with Britts finisher, the Lockjaw. Pretty regular stuff. All capped off with the post match Spray paint.

Oh cool post match promo too.

Johnny TV Backstage Promo

I like John Hennigan and all his silly names. He fits more with the whole QTV gimmick more than Hobbs did. Rampage is also getting its own identity now, but it's felt like it's getting one for the past few months now, and I'm not sure if it is ever going to reach that point.

Main Event: Tornado Tag Team Match: Sting and Darby Allin vs Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara

I really hate that shitty flash movie that plays in the background of Sammy's entrance.

If i remember correctly, this is the 3rd time we saw the Painmaker character on Dynamite.

I like the tornado tag rules as a tv stipulation. Makes the match feel faster paced and chaotic.

Oh, geez. Sting jumped off the ladder onto Sammy, who was on 2 tables. I dont know if that was a great landing. It looks like sting may have landed his pelvis on the edge of one table and bumped his face on the second.

Sting somehow gets up and ends up in the walls of Jericho. Luckily, he was able to use the Painmakers own bat against him.

There's a lot of interesting depth to this story between Sting and Jericho, as we see Ating using all the moves he used back in the 90s and Jericho using the collection of moves he has gained in the years since. I feel there's a lot of possibility with this fued.

Closing thoughts

It feels like not much was developed in this episode aside from the MJF and Adam Cole story as well as Hangman and The Dark Order.

I'm excited to see Rampage and to see if they build anything else towards blood and guts this week.

1) Yes, my new Pigella has a curly tail. I tried desperately to include it in the pose, but it lost the vibe of the short curly tail, since I tried making it longer so it's visible. But rest assured that it's there. I promise.

2) I currently don't intend on redesigning Mylène or Polymouse. I don't think she has a great canon design, but she's not an integral part of the new plot, so she's not on the list. I don't even think she'd get a Miraculous at all.

3) Oh absolutely she does. I love those! I like to think that all the Miraculous adapt to their holders, so the Rabbit only has roller blade boots when Alix is using it.

4) I forgot about that concept art, but oh my god I love that idea! I'm using it. I love it, it's so good. Thank you, you blessed little bean.

5) Ooooh those are so cool! I'd wear them myself! And while I currently don't have any plans to add Pegabug (whom I'd rename Unibug) to the story yet (still working out the story but I don't doubt she'd make an appearance), I feel like it would be a hate crime to not add these glasses somewhere in the story. Immunitiy to sleep: Unlike their weak “cousins” (the villagers), the Illagers have no need to sleep as they can enter some sort of trance where they recover their strength while still remaining aware of their surroundings. They are also immune to sleep from magic and other sources like poisons. They can still become fatigued or exhausted if they work themselves too much.

Resilient to charme and domination: Illagers receive a +2 bonus on saves against effect of charme, compulsion and any mind control associated effect. Furthermore, if they are forced to attack other Illagers (and only illagers), they receive a +4 bonus and a new saving throw every turn that said effect occurs.

Flexible teamwork feat: At the 1st level a Illager obtains a teamwork feat of his choosing. If another Illager is within 60ft and they are both aware of eachothern, they automatically share all the teamwork feats they possess regardless of the prerequisites.

Languages: Illagers begin to speak Common and Illager. Those with higher score in Intelligence can shoose from the following languages: Undercommon, Necril, Draconic and Villager.

Background: Illagers are like the evil counterpart of the Villagers and by all means they intend to prove so to their “inferior cousins.” The origins of the Illagers are shrouded in mistery but the most known tale talks about a far away village that was facing a never seen before crisis. Desperate, and without a choice, the people sought help from a witch to fight the menace. After the problem was solved, the Villagers showed their results to the nearby settlements showing great pride in their new “improved” selves and invited the others to join them to rise above the inferior races and become rules of the lands.
