Neville Longbottom x Reader Chapter 2

Welcome to part 2 of this series! I will be creating a masterlist for my series however there will be separate links for my different masterlists! Ok lets get into this headache of a process!

A/N - You may be wondering, how can it be one-sided love???? Well you're gonna find out in future chapters have fun!

It was a couple days after the dance, everyone seemed tired as there were a couple different after-parties for the different house, (that may or may not have been approved by Mcgonagall), you and Neville had gone on a cute little "date" near the greenhouse. The date had been a little picnic where Neville had talked your ear off about different plants and flowers.

When Neville had dropped you off after the Ball at your dorm where you had shared your first kiss with him. He had walked away smiling while blushing, you had walked into the room smiling and you were met with the sight of Ginny and Harry having sex. Thankfully they were under the blanket but that didn't stop you from letting out a scream.

"What the fuck Ginny?!"

Ginny and Harry scream before Harry gets off of Ginny and covers them more. "Why didn't you put a sock on the door?! Or a sign?!" Ginny huffs, "I didn't think you would be back so soon you loser!"

You turn around and quickly run to the bathroom to let them get situated privately, you take off your dress and shoes before hopping into the shower and washing off all of the sweat. A couple minutes later you get out of the shower and dry off, you wrap the towel around your body and walk out covering your eyes.

"Is it safe for me to open my eyes?" Ginny sighs, "Yes, we're gonna head to the room of requirements so we don't bother anyone" You smile and uncover your eyes, "Thank you, you can come back whenever, after your done though"

Harry laughs and grabs Ginny's hand leading her out of the room, as they leave you get ready for bed, grabbing your book and laying down as you start to read.

Neville was walking you back to your dorm again when Hermione runs over to you hurriedly, "Y/N! I need to talk to you! Privately" You furrow your eyebrows as you let Hermione lead you away with Neville looking just as confused.

As she leads you away from hearing distance Hermione starts rambling about Neville and someone else which confuses you a bit, "Wait wait wait, slow down and talk normally please" Hermione takes a deep breath, "So I was in the library as usual, and I heard some girls talking about Neville, so I got closer, and one of the girls in Neville's girlfriend, I asked her for how long and she said since last year"

Your face goes pale as you listen to her ramble about Neville and his supposed girlfriend, you take a deep breath, "What is his girlfriends name?" Hermione thinks for a second before pulling out a piece of paper and handing it to you, "This has her full name, her house, and her year on it, she gave it to me because I asked for it"

You nod taking a deep breath and putting the paper in your pocket before giving Hermione a hug. "Thank you Hermione" She hugs you back before smiling, "I'll handle Neville, I'll see you later alright?"

Hermione nods before taking off as you walk back over to Neville, "Sorry about that, she was telling me about a new book she read that could help make sure he who shall not be named couldn't be revived" Neville smiles and puts his hand out for you, "Well I could either walk you back to your dorm or we could go to mine"

You fake a smile and nod "Actually could you drop me off at the Ravenclaw house? Luna wanted to hang out with me and I told her we could after our date was over" Neville nods and walks you over to the Ravenclaw house before giving you a kiss on your head and walking away smiling.

You let your face relax into a frown before saying the password, which you only know thanks to Luna, you walk in walking over to Luna before whispering "Luna do you know who Katie Smith is? She's a year below us and she's in this house" Luna smiles and nods "Yes, she's in my dorm, she's up there now if you want to meet her"

You nod and sigh "She's Neville's girlfriend, did you know that?" Luna shakes her head "Katie doesn't talk to us much, she likes hanging out with more her year, she doesn't tell me much" You nod and follow Luna up to her dorm room and see Katie there doing her potions homework.

You smile "You're Katie right? I'm Y/N, I'm in the year above you, my friend Hermione said that she talked to you in the library today and that you were a really cool girl" Katie smiles, "Yeah that's me! I would love to hang out with you, Hermione was a really cool girl as well" You walk over to her and see some wrong things with her work.

"Oh it actually needs to be 3 fluxweed stems and not 2" Katie smiles and fixes her mistake, "Thank you! I did not want to get that wrong!" Luna walks over to her bed and starts to read her books while you and Katie get to know each other.
