Cute Animals Transform into Handsome Boys at Night in Animal Theratopia Anime Teaser Movie

    Animal Theratopia is a new healing project for females, collaborated by the acclaimed animation production studio Toei Animation and the game/music production company MAGES. The project's official YouTube channel has started streaming a two-minute first anime teaser movie.

        Under the theme of "Animals x Handsome Men x Music," the project was launched in April 2020. The animals, who are lovable by day, become handsome boys by night, and invite adults who are tired of their daily lives to join them for showtime. It has released three "Song & Drama" CDs, and a web radio program "AniTopi Wave" hosted by Yuto Suzuki (Nerori) has been streamed since June. 

  The anime teaser movie is produced by Toei Animation, and Mai Matsuura, known for her works for the KING OF PRISM by PrettyRhythm series, serves as the character designer of the boys in human form. She says, "I have been preparing for the release of this movie since I received the offer for this work. Based on the rough illustrations by the original designer Nakahara-san, I created the character designs that wouldn't look out of place when animated, so the design is simpler than the usual series for women. We hope you enjoy seeing them who are moving and expressive, look cool and cute...!" 

    Meanwhile, the fourth "Song & Drama" CD is set to be released on January 27, 2021. Preview videos for the solo songs by Hinoki (CV: Kento Ito) and Nerori (Yuuto Suzuki) in the album are now streamed.

          "Animal Theratopia" synopsis:

  The place found by you, who have been so tired, is a paradise of animals and a place to meet them, "Animal Theratopia." You open the door, and you see..., the animals who transform into humans...! They have dreamed of living with people and been looking forward to meeting their destined partner. At night in the facility, they spend a secret healing time with the people who are tired of their daily lives. A new Shiba Inu named Yuzu, who was picked up by the facility's caretaker, meets a black cat Sweet Olive who is longing for a life with humans...!

Check Out The Voices of Animal Boys in Animal Theratopia Character PV

    The official website for Animal Theratopia, a new collaboration project by the animation production studio Toei Animation and the game/music production company MAGES, has started streaming a 140-second PV to introduce its main character voices.

  Under the theme of "Animals x Handsome Men x Music," the healing project for women was launched in April 2020. Currently, five song & drama CDs are set to be released from July 2020 to March 2021, and a web radio program "AniTopi Wave" hosted by Yuto Suzuki (Nerori) will start streaming on June 16.

Toei Animation & MAGES. Co-Launch New Healing Project for Females, Animal Theratopia

    The animation production studio Toei Animation and the game/music production company MAGES. revealed their new co-production healing project for females, Animal Theratopia, today on National Pet Day, April 11. The day was created in 2006 to celebrate pets of all kinds and to raise awareness of protected animals.

  The theme of the project is "Animals x Handsome Men x Music." In addition to the teaser movie on Twitter, the project has also opened its official Instagram to introduce the inside of the "Animal Theratopia" facility from today. Also, the five-volume drama and character song CDs will be released from July 29, 2020.
