no thoughts just simon roughly undoing your corset at the end of the night. idk how he'd be there without it being seen as improper or whatever or maybe hes your husband but i feel like it'd send me into subspace so quick.. kinda similar to shibari? idk.

The times when he's rough with your stays are few and far between, mostly he unlaces the (newly) double stranded thing with blunt nails that slip against the laces. His own knots so carefully tied keeping you held tight in what may as well be his embrace. His signature is already neatly embroidered on your modesty panel, his words neatly penned in bleeding ink professing all the places his lips would touch. Scandalous delivered before he ever made it to your marriage bed, you might add.

Oh no, Simon is very... deliberate with your stays. Possessive, even. His knot is one you can't undo, one that even he sometimes resorts to pulling between his teeth. It's a security you can't go against, a lock whose only key is held by Simon. He won't even let your maid touch your laces. You sit for him and arch into his touch as he threads one line, then another, and another. His fingers skim your chemise, his breath just barely even. You hang your head to feel his teeth graze the top knob of your spine as he pulls you tight, and takes the first swell of your breath between his fingers.

It's a beautiful thing. A second spine borrowed from your husband's hand. How each crossed thread holds its own knot at the center, how each lace ladders itself to climb up the looping of Simon's signature, his name just barely visible under the knots and laces. No, he doesn't tear at your stays. Swear at them maybe. Tell you he won't tie them so tight next time, a lie. But never tear.

Cut? Well, now that's another thing entirely. And you'd be lying if you said the press of his blade along your spine, slowly carving out your trapped breath, didn't make you squeeze your legs around the hand he'd already buried between them.

I blame you for my Simon brainrot, so have this:

Simon smitten with someone who is a complete nerd, just an absolute geek. Plays D&D, reads way too much, wears glasses (I double blame you for this) and dorky shirts and socks, etc. Him just sitting there listening to them ramble about something he has no clue about and then later on him referencing back because you cant tell me he isnt actually paying attention even if he doesnt have a vested personal interest in it.

Simon Riley is absolutely smitten with Nerd!Reader - it doesn’t matter what fascinates you, he’s taken. anime, manga, comics? tell him about it. music, video games, movies? play something for him. are you into Dungeons and Dragons? he’ll listen to you explain everything - show him your dice, tell him about all the classes, spells, monsters

Simon Riley adores your glasses - prescription or not. thick frames? metal? plastic? functional or fashionable? he can’t stop looking at your face. if you do have prescription lenses you can convince Simon to try them on. they’re a little small sitting on the crooked bridge of his nose, he blinks once before handing them back, “Prefer my reading glasses.”. but if you wear his reading glasses? he’s nearly drooling, they look so charming on you - in fact, why don’t you just keep ‘em?

Simon Riley will soak in whatever you tell him. be careful talking to him about stuff you want, if you mention a certain pair of pretty dice or a new volume of your favorite series it’ll end up in your hands, cost be damned. if something is really expensive Simon will lie through his teeth so you don’t feel bad, “Was on sale, love, don’t worry. Hm? Exclusive release? Don’t know about that.”

Simon Riley, the big, hulking man he is, can be talked into cosplaying for you. he might roll his eyes, but he’s biting back a smile when you mention he would look good dressed as a certain character from a series you love. when October rolls around you might just come home to find Simon standing in the doorframe to your bedroom, dressed in oh so familiar clothes, “This what you wanted, lovie?”

Simon Riley that, even though he’s dead silent listening to you, can repeat everything you’ve said back to him. he might forget smaller details - the color of a character’s clothes, the way to specifically pronounce a name, but he remembers your favorite chapters and episodes, the class you play and your lucky dice. he might even surprise you when he talks about things you didn’t tell him, “Hm? Oh, jus’ did some light readin’ on it, nothin’ special.”

Soap being a huge nerd in comic books and movies so when he inevitably brings Ghost back to his childhood room his walls and tables are filled to the brim of comic book heros, sketchbooks, and just overall being a nerdy ass room

Ghost thinks it’s adorable, Johnny wants to die of embarrassment but never really could bring himself to take the posters down or sell mint-conditioned comic books.

I’m always so torn on whether I love it or if I find Vamp Eddie hilarious because like vampires are so cool and sexy and elegant and Eddie is a cringefail weirdo who drinks yahoo and I can’t decide if that escape from the trope is like amazing or the funniest thing in existence.

Like I get vampire biting is sexy but I can’t picture him being sexy about it he’s to much of a little guy. There’s no way he doesn’t at least once go “I Vant to Suvck you Vblood” and Steve has to put his pants back on and leave.

You laugh with panic evident, “O-oh, that’s cute! Oh that’s cute, mm- wait for your papa to get home, sweet pea.”

Abigail stares up at you with the math homework in her hands- she took after John in every way possible, including the inordinate amount of knowledge she just randomly knew. Especially when it came to anything STEM related, seven years old and doing pre-calc for fun. It…was great for her obviously, but you still would leave homework help to him.

with a frown she relented and she went back to the kitchen table, working on her actual homework.

So when John did get home he was greeted with a kiss, as always, and a seven year old holding equations up for him to help her solve as if it was some movie she wanted to watch.

They would sit at the table, a whiteboard from the closet taken out and the faint sound of some obscure pop song in the background. They would take breaks every two hours either to bake cookies or watch some tv, but this is what the considered fun. So by the time you were waking up they were turning in for the night.
