- Ring wearer, even has one with a “T” on it.

- Coffee addict.

- He hates tying his shoes so Todd usually ends up tying them.

- Claims to want to buy a Tiger when he gets rich and famous.

Todd Anderson:

- Knits and bakes so there are sweet treats at meetings, and he also is the main contributor to Knox’s sweater collection.

- Collects wristwatches.

- Stargazes and knows all the constellations.

- Can’t swim, like at all.

- Picks the skin around his nails as a nervous habit.

- Very prone to getting sick, due to his weak immune system.

- Hozier’s number 1 fan.

Charlie Dalton:

- Sings Queen in the mirror whilst getting ready.

- Snores LOUD, but Knox is a heavy sleeper so it doesn’t matter.

- Plays soccer, and is Number 17.

- Marvel fein, his favorite superhero is Iron Man.

- Draws VERY well, and does portraits of the poets.

Knox Overstreet:

- Can’t handle his alcohol and is a clingy drunk.

- Plays the guitar, which is another reason he bought Charlie one.

- HUGE music guy and collects vinyls, but he cannot sing for the life of him.

- Get antsy at night so he makes his rounds with sleeping in the other boy’s dorms/rooms, but can usually be found in Charlie’s.

- Has an inhaler.

- Number one Anderperry shipper.

- Not the best poet.

- RED CASHMERE SWEATER. (idk why but i’ve read so many fics that headcanon him having a very fancy red sweater that Charlie steals so yes.)

Steven Meeks:

- Makes a mean Shirley Temple.

- Still sleeps with a stuffed animal, it’s a giraffe named Gordie.

- Star Wars fan.

- Knows a bunch of languages and switches to one of them when he gets overcome with emotions.

- Can read people almost creepily well.

- Has a collection of buttons in a huge binder.

- Has horrible handwriting.

- Breaks his glasses at least once every 6 months.

Gerard Pitts:

- Had a pet turtle named Leo.

- Met Meeks at some sort of child math camp.

Their Favourite Holiday Festivities.

merry christmas to all who celebrate, and happy holidays! i apologize for not being able to get this out sooner. as expected, i’ve been spending some time with family.

without further adieu, enjoy this holiday headcanon!!

Todd Anderson:

He always enjoys reading by the window, cuddled up in a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa, and just reading his favourite novels.

Even if it isn’t very “christmassy,” he enjoys making time for himself at the beginning of the winter break.

Eventually, he does start to miss his friends, but that’s what the books are there for. They make a very good distraction.

Sometimes he makes cookies for his friends, too. Cookies are always nice.

Neil Perry:

This man loves all the music and winter performances.

He will go watch the nutcracker, he will explore the town just to hear christmas buskers, jingle bells, and the sound of citizens shouting “happy holidays!”

He is also the type to be standing by a piano singing any carol he recognizes. He can’t help that he’s such a sucker for the classics.

Always enjoys spending time with the poets, his true family. It heals his inner child from all that he never got to experience.

Always gives gifts. A L W A Y S.

Charlie Dalton:

He’s the one to come up with/bring all the games. He loves playing games and getting all competitive with everybody.

Always ends up getting too cocky and losing everything at least once in a game. It’s always funny to everybody else but him.

Makes bets that he can never repay. Every year it gets harder and harder to convince him.

Accuses anybody beating him that they’re cheating. Just the Charlie way out of things.

Steven Meeks:

Loves decorating for the holidays. Paper chains, trees, lights, you name it. He’s usually always put in charge by his family for at least something to do with decorating.

Makes heartfelt cards for all of his best friends, and always make sure they all look different and exactly to his vision.

Usually the first one to show up at a dead poets festive gathering. He doesn’t want to miss any of the action!

If Neal isn’t the first to compliment Todd’s amazing cookies, Meeks is. It’s probably one of the main things he’s excited for every holiday now.

Gerard Pitts:

He’s a big fan of any holiday movie. Ones that make him laugh, cry, sometimes cringe, he doesn’t really care.

He just enjoys sitting down with others, all snuggled up and spending quality time in each other’s presence by watching a movie.

His favourite is either It’s a Wonderful Life or any holiday movie under the comedy umbrella.

He can never get his friends to fully shut up during the movie, so eventually he just joins them in making comments during the movie. It can get really fun sometimes.

Knox Overstreet:

He usually can’t pick a favourite thing to do. There’s always so much, and his choice changes every year!

He just enjoys the holiday in general. He wouldn’t trade the time he gets to spend with his friends for the world, and all the laughs that get exchanged all in one night.

One of his top things is definitely how Charlie always gets his ass handed to him during games.

Richard Cameron:

He adores all of the music. How people can make such diverse, but similar covers of the classics will never get old for him.

If Neal sings by the piano, he’s the one playing it.

He keeps a special binder full of holiday music that he keeps tucked away for this very occasion every year.

He’s always found humming the tunes while a holiday movie is on. This causes him to get poked fun of quite a bit, but he just can’t help it.

okay bulldog clip because bulldog clip is my favorite stationary. i usually use this on my poetry notebook and it's attached to certain part my notebook and slip in a few important loose pages or random shits and that's just cameron because he's attached to ur life and u can just tell him anything like a secret and he'll take care of it for you. highlighters because cameron is That Girl™- jk. i feel like if olden times, he'd fucking refuse to use highlighters for his notes because idk he just feels weird about it because he's used to writing in just fountain pen something like that but he fell in love with calligraphy and now will write names or letters to give to the poets slash his friends. it's awesome!! binders because he just keeps his life organized. the richard "got my shit together- NOT" cameron.

okay because we all know this bitch doesn't care about stationery at ALL 😭 he's messy and he doesn't even give a fuck about writing on proper notebook. (dude draws boobies while on class.... and writes poetry on u know... the 'teach me to love? go teach thyself more wit' thing. ) ANYWAYS i just feel like he'd still love clicker pens because it's 🥰🥰🥰🥰 and u can just click on it whenever or whatever. it's a fun pen and charlie loves it. swivel chair because it's a SWIVEL CHAIR!!! it's the turny around chair. he loves it very much. periodt.

no particular reason at all except he embodies all of these stationery tools. this is very personal and i don't care what u say (light-hearted) (who am i arguing with sorry) PUSH PINS OKAY coz he keeps the notice on the boards. also coz he's the mother friend he keep them shit together like the reminder on the notice board which u will not notice if the push pins are not pushed on them. stamps because he loves stamps. it's a reminder of those good luck stamps from when he was a kid. it's nice and he misses his parents everyday thx. when he gets home and he spent a lot of time with his siblings and lots of accomplishment talk with the kids u know and he gives the good job! stamps or the three stars one. paper clips because paper clips.

u know those index card that has design on them and really smells great? idk i think it's actually special paper or something. or like the invitation papers!! yeah haha anyways pittsie loves using them. when he sees quote or poem he likes he writes it on them and put it on a scrapbook 🥰🥰🥰 and accordion file is literally a fun folder. why would you not love that!!

neil is a HOLE PUNCHER. pun intended. that's it. that's the reason. jk. sticky notes because he's sticky. i mean he just sticks with you forever. he's sticky. and he's also notes. he remembers stuffs about you and you'll always feels included with him i love him very much and i will do anything for this dude anyways he's also a clipboard because that's where the papers goes. and guess who the paper is

the notebook ™ for obvious reasons. notebook, journal, u know it babe. i'd like to think todd tried to make those DIY journals. (i know because we hang out sometimes and makes shitty diy notebooks). u know one time todd wrote like no. of poems to neil on an occasion and he made like this cute booklet out of it and stitched it. it was simple and not very good but neil loves it nevertheless. the notebook and papers 🥰 he's a writer so. pen holders is jus kinda poetic tbh. he's a master of words!! he's an English teacher and he aspire people. he's a pen holder !!!!!!

computer coz u know he's digital yeah. no particular reason honestly ? eraser uh. well u know he's very forgetful. idk why is that related but it's related also when he was a kid his parents would buy him those school set things. u know the themed pencil cases with pens eraser and sharpener all and all that comes with a trolley bag ?

LIKE THIS ONE 😭 so he's very fond of erasers and pens !! coz they always have themes and stuff like that. why is neither meeks and pittsie not a computer? dk.

(side note that most of these headcanons are probably not going to be canon accurate due to my lack of knowledge of medicine and stuff from the canon era)

neil perry: bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. didn't get diagnosed with bd until he was a teenager and bpd until he was in his 20s. he really struggled with his confidence before he was diagnosed bc he always felt like something was wrong with him. when he's in a manic episode he just hyperfocuses on things and barely sleeps. when he's in a depressive episode he loses all interest in the things he enjoys

todd anderson: chronic pain. has scoliosis. not bad enough to need a brace but still causes him lots of pain. he also has horrible posture which does not help. he also gets chest pains when his chest is restricted which makes it hard for him to wear a binder. when the pain is really bad he needs to position a bunch of pillows in specific places so he can sleep.

richard cameron: chronic pain. has interstitial cystitis. can manage the pain most days but sometimes the pain gets so bad he has to cancel plans and stay in bed. he owns a bunch of different kinds of heating pads. he never goes anywhere without pain meds. when he can't move due to pain he likes to watch romcoms to help him feel better.

richie tozier: bipolar disorder. has been diagnosed and medicated since he was very young. sometimes his meds need to be adjusted and they stop working as effectively. he finds these periods to be really weird bc he doesn't notice right away. they usually start off with him being manic which results in him spending a lot of money and having a lot of extra energy. during these manic episodes he tends to feel so many emotions to the extreme. these periods end with him getting a super bad depressive episode which is how he realizes something isn't right. when he's in a depressive episode he barely leaves his bed. he doesn't like having to take meds every day and with his adhd he sometimes forgets.

what if i started headcanoning all my favourite characters as having bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and/or chronic pain? what then?
