                         THIS IS A SPACE OF PURE POSITIVITY 

According to the the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Struggle is defined as follows: To make strenuous or violent efforts in the face of difficulties or opposition. Struggle is a word that many people are familiar with and after reading this definition I feel that the word is thrown around so much lately that it has lost the power of its meaning. But then again that just may speak to me being disconnected with the rest of the world and the wider interpretation of the word. When I think of struggle I think about the struggle of getting out of bed in the morning to go to work each day, or the struggle of deciding what the right career path for myself is, I think about the struggle of feeling like I don’t have enough time to do everything that I want in a day, I think about the struggle of wanting to provide for my family and feeling like I’m not capable of doing so, and I think about the struggle of going against my family’s expectations of me, just to name a few. These are a wide range of struggles but one of the reasons this blog exists is to cover ALL struggles while also discussing ways to overcome them. (Reading that back I’m actually surprised I only used the word struggle 10 times lol!)  

The purpose of StruggleDay(SD) is to explore the extent to which we all struggle then offer/provide resources to help our COMMUNITY to be liberated of their struggles. The most important aspect of StruggleDay will be COMMUNITY. We welcome everyone but we caution you to be aware that this will be a place of pure positivity. We are here to help one another and express kindness and generosity while doing so. This is a NO JUDGEMENT ZONE where we help our fellow human beings to be at peace in their lives. One of the byproducts of entering this COMMUNITY will be a clear, healthy mind. Lets face it, the internet can be an evil place. That negativity is not allowed here. I created this blog because I’ve been through some tough times and I’m now at a point where I feel that I’m at peace and I want to give others going through struggles a place to express themselves so that they can find their peace. My hope is that our COMMUNITY will feel comfortable enough to open up about themselves/their lives so that others going through similar struggles can find a place to call home and realize that they are not alone.

I chose the name StruggleDay because its something that I know we can all relate to. We’ve all had a StruggleDay, a day where we feel like things aren’t going our way. A DAY WE JUST WANT TO END! A day that feels unreal and extremely out of the ordinary. I want to know about your StruggleDay or StruggleLife if it goes that far. I’ve had struggles in my life and I will happily share them throughout my posts. I will even get my friends and family to provide some of their struggles so we can start to realize the wide variety of struggles that are present.  

Oh yea! I almost forgot… We want to have fun throughout this process so please add to my collection of struggle memes whenever possible. I will admit that the internet has become a place where I go to waste time because it makes me laugh. While I don’t want to waste your time I do want everyone to get a good laugh from time to time. So the rule is a one meme per post limit. Please find a good one and post it! See you soon…
