"Oh, of course, because you two aren't a couple of lying liars who sit on thrones of lies. And really, if you think Law's being creepy and chaotic now, just wait until he starts playing Leg Jenga. Or juggling gallbladders. He's gotten pretty good at that."

@chatcambrioleur asked: Smash or Pass + Usopp. Send Smash or Pass + a name and my muse will say if they would smash or pass on that person. (Still Accepting!)

"Usopp's a good guy, but he's not for me. Pass. I'd gladly be his wingwoman, though. Hype him up and back up his tall tales to whoever he's got his eye on."

@sogekyng asked:  ❛ don’t look at me like that. ❜
Unprompted
Tumblr media
"Like what?” Ikkaku asked, frown deepening. She hoped he didn’t mistake her expression for pity, because it wasn’t. It was concern mixed with disapproval, though the latter wasn’t towards Usopp. Not in the slightest. No, it was towards his father.
She’d met the sniper’s father. The Hearts and Red-Haired Pirates had crossed paths a few times since Marineford, and she’d slowly gotten to know several of the crew. Yasopp had been nice, and funny, and told some great stories, but she’d assumed that he’d had some actual contact with his son with how much he bragged about him.
Ikkaku didn’t have a great relationship with her own father. Nonexistent, really, even when she was little. Like everyone else he’d blamed her for a death she’d had no real fault in and had emotionally checked out before she was even a toddler. She could understand if Yasopp had been completely absent, or negligent, or simply terrible, but to hear of a father who was clearly so proud of his son, but didn’t even try to get in contact?
It kind of made her want to punch the guy.
Shaking her head, she gave Usopp a smile, deciding to change the topic to something that might cheer him up. “You know, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that my family’s approval really doesn’t mean all that much. My crew, though? Anytime I hear them sing my praises, I feel like my heart could fucking burst. But I’d be lucky to get even half the praise Franky gives you. Seriously, he went on for over an hour about how you’ve implemented dials into your arsenal. Mind showing me? They sound really cool!”

@climatact asked: would you friend-ship Usopp and Ikkaku
Let's Play "Would You Ship This?" (Still Accepting!)

Oh absolutely! I think these two would bond great over creating inventions and Usopp could tell Ikkaku about the Merry and she’d totally understand his love for that ship because she feels the same about the Tang and she’d understand even more after this current arc but we don’t talk about this fucking travesty. Ahem anyway she would also have a blast scaring Usopp with horror stories from Joras (sorry not sorry dude but Law’s had many years to rub off on her). So yeah, this would be a great friendship and I’d love to see it.

“Usopp is a great guy, but sadly a pass. It’s kind of hard not to see him as a sort of baby brother, I think. I mean, he’s my curly-haired, inventor buddy. We do hair masks and talk about the cool shit we’ve built. I wouldn’t want to risk ruining that with meaningless sex.”
