Security Breach: The unseen story?
Be prepared to rethink everything you know about the game.
Ok so, based on a year of theorising, I think the plot of Security Breach may be totally different to what we have perceived it to be. Here is the shortest write up of my theory that I can muster. I have explanations coming to explain how I reached these conclusions. Trust me, I have way more to say on the matter.
It might help you to read the script or watch a playthrough of the game with this theory in mind. You'll likely spot the same things I did on the rewatch.
My breakdown of the plot of Security Breach
Gregory is the Crying Child remade physically. This is integral to the theory because it means he represents an Afton child with existing relationships/dynamics.
Patient 71 is Vanessa who has the soul of Elizabeth/Baby. Patient 46 is Gregory while acting as a vessel for William/Glitchtrap (46). The tapes help tell the story of what led up to Security Breach and fit with this theory. Also note the location of each CD, I think there are additional clues there.
Security Breach is actually the story of Fazbear Entertainment knowingly handling the Glitchtrap virus in the Pizzaplex, preventing the escape of William Afton and maintaining control of the situation.
The game has parallels to abusive/toxic family dynamics and fundamentally represents a power struggle between Mrs. A and William. Both want power and to control/win over their children.
Mrs Afton is the unseen but omnipresent owner of the Pizzaplex. She created it after escaping with Baby/Ennard from the Sister Location spot. She was originally Ballora but may have a different form now - she has explicit links to Roxy at very least. (Big explain coming soon). She has very big, evil plans for the Pizzaplex.
Prior to the game beginning, Mrs Afton uncovered the ruins of the FNAF 6 location with the goal of having Henry's soul inhabit Glamrock Freddy. Together, the duo begin to rebuild the company and - literally - their family. Mrs. Afton needs Henry's engineering skills to start again. They keep Afton imprisoned in the basement, unsure what to do with him. They may well be using him as part of their goals, against their better judgement.
Gregory - before disaster struck - was innocent but unknowingly complicit in FE's crimes. He helped the family business by becoming the new version of Balloon Boy (he does no harm himself but gives the animatronics an opening to attack the victim). He lived with his family in the Pizzaplex and he is friends with the animatronics - he may not know he is an animatronic himself. Freddy was designed specifically as a bodyguard for him. His job was to drum up business and unknowingly lure people into the Pizzaplex FE's experiments. However, one day Gregory begins to suspect something strange is going on. He follows the breadcrumb trail, glitches the arcade machines/tries the VR game and accidentally becomes a vessel for Afton/Glitchtrap.
William - now in Gregory's body - proceeds to pretend to be Gregory, playing along with FE's plans with the goal of overthrowing the management in the long term.
Mrs Afton notices Gregory is behaving out of character and asks the company therapist to get to the bottom of it. Patient 46 is Gregory post-Glitchtrap infection, trying to fly under the radar. Glitchtrap kills the therapists to cover his tracks but Mrs Afton persists. To prevent William from catching on, they play along. The therapists and Mrs. A are in cahoots, using the sessions to find out more information.
FE handles the initial virus outbreak (i.e stated in tape 16) but Gregtrap modifies the code to escape detection. As the therapist says, "the glitch stopped being a glitch and turned into an intentional set of subroutines that were aimed at creating the same thing the glitch created". Consequently, FE have already dealt with Glitchtrap system wide. However, at the start of Security Breach, they're still chasing the source of the glitches/subroutines which keep shifting.
To end the problems once and for all, FE decide to set a trap. They lock all the individuals they are suspicious of in the Pizzaplex to observe their behaviour.
Mrs. A sends Vanessa - her trusted daughter and employee - from another branch to sort out the Pizzaplex. Vanessa is the final current form of Elizabeth/Baby - an entity that spent years trapped alone with her mother in a basement. Mrs. A knows she can trust Vanessa to act in the best interest in the company and with utmost discretion. However, Mrs A. also suspects that William has already got to Vanessa and that Vanessa cannot figure out where her loyalty lies.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Afton suspects that Henry is having second thoughts about the company. She suspects his heart isn't in it and that he may be waiting to escape or double cross her.
Unsure where William is hiding/who is siding with him, FE sets a trap for all three of them. They find a way to get Gregory in Freddy's hatch. Then, Mrs. A takes the opportunity to reset Freddy and Gregory, triggering safe mode for Freddy (inc. low battery capability). Freddy and the animatronics are disconnected from the mainframe for a true test/network safety. Mrs Afton resets Gregory in the hope that doing so will remove Glitchtrap, return Gregory to his normal self or wipe his memory. Likewise, she hopes Henry and Vanessa's reactions to Gregory will help her figure out their motivation.
When Gregory exits the hatch, Mrs. A and FE watch to see how all involved react. Freddy and the animatronics pretend he's just a lost kid they don't know. Meanwhile, FE set Vanessa off after the two of them. The three are triangulated against each other and their behaviour monitored so the managers can figure out who is and isn't infected by Glitchtrap. Freddy is desperately hoping Gregory will be his normal self again.
What begins after is a hilarious game of rope-a-dope. Since Gregory acts like a lost child, Freddy calls Gregory's bluff and plays along. At every step, the pizzaplex throws up barriers designed to delay Gregory for time. From Freddy's unexpected detour to 'first aid' in the basement, the machine eating Gregory's pass, and the forced detour to daycare. FE can manipulate Pizzaplex machines on demand.
The daycare segment was the first real test. Fazbear Entertainment assume that a lost child will feel safe in daycare with the non-threatening Sun. Sun tries to distract and keep Gregory in place but he makes a beeline for the security pass. Gregory fails the test. The fail-safe goes off and Fazbear Entertainment cut the lights, subjecting Gregory to the glitchtrap-infected Moon as a distraction.
Meanwhile, FE direct the animatronics to wait for Gregory outside of the door, ready to capture him, now they are certain something is wrong.
However, Freddy ruins their plan by saving Gregory before the other animatronics can get to him. I think from the plot details we have suggest that Freddy has his own ulterior motives separate from FE. Perhaps FE plan to disassemble Gregory and Henry can't handle that?
However, Freddy doesn't get far before needing to go to the recharge station.
Vanny happens (and has little impact on the story).
Freddy does his best to direct Gregory to an alternative exit, hoping to escape with Gregory. However security passes block them at every turn.
Eventually, Vanessa closes in. Gregory blacks out when she captures him. She takes Gregory to Lost and Found, following procedure. This exchange reads as authentic - Vanessa is merely trying to do her job. Vanny happens again.
It's very possible there is a time skip here - unbeknownst to Gregory.
During Gregory's trip to lost and found, Freddy is either injured as punishment for not obeying orders or as another test for Gregory. Or both. Freddy directs Gregory to do fetch quests so they can go to Parts and Service. They have to fix Freddy before he goes any further.
Gregory goes to the Rehearsal Room and gets locked in. Freddy spontaneously regains the ability to communicate and the use of his legs - which is so odd, the script calls it out. This miracle may be due to Gregory's actions in said room or this could suggest Freddy was being deceptive about his motives. Could this be a ploy for time or a mission with a secret goal for Freddy? Perhaps he stole the Showtime disk for a different reason?
Either way, this scene reveals the pizzaplex is on lockdown. This could suggest that FE are manipulating the pizzaplex to modify Gregory and Freddy's route.
Freddy tells Gregory he has to vent (lol) and they are reunited. They head towards Parts and Service
Just as they approach PaS, Freddy begins to run out of power. Gregory gets into a recharge station just in time to see Moon knock Freddy out and drag him away. I personally think this is confirmation that Moon is possessed/controlled by Glitchtrap - independently of Gregory - and he is also working against Henry and to achieve his own ulterior motives. I believe Moon's goal is to seperate Gregory and Freddy to prevent their escape and also to guide Gregory towards upgrading Freddy.
Gregory detours through the rest of PaS and goes up against endos. He returns to Freddy and witnesses a cutscene with Freddy and Vanessa. This scene reads totally different with this theory in mind. A key nod comes from Vanessa suggesting "If you are part of this, you are scrap.". This confirms there is more going on than meets the eye. Vanessa also talks about replacing Freddy which I think is a clue to her being more senior/being more than just a security guard. How does Vanessa have any control over who performs?
Gregory finally reunites with Freddy. Gregory fixes Freddy before asking what he can use to "stop the other bots". He then notes that all of the animatronics have special parts and states "we could upgrade you!". Unbeknownst to Freddy, this is Glitchtrap's real aim. He wants to use Gregory to find a way to his Burntrap body in the basement with the hope he can find a way to free himself. This is why Gregory is so angry when Freddy tries to dissuade him.
Freddy states that the animatronics would never ha a child, it is against their programming. I think this is there to highlight what seems like unwarranted aggression from Gregory.
Gregory heads to Monty Golf of Fazer Blast. Stuff happens. The key point here, though, is that as soon as Gregory begins to break/take parts from the animatronic, his goals become clear to Mrs. A. She knows that the upgrades to access Burntrap are spread across the animatronics to prevent any accidental accessing of this area. At this point, Gregory's facade falls away for FE. He is openly aggressive towards the animatronics but Freddy appears too naive/trusting to realise. He seems genuinely concerned/upset about the idea of the other animatronics being injured.
This marks the point where the animatronics (and Vanessa) become more aggressive ingame.
Freddy and Gregory head to Roxy Raceway. Sidenote: I think the scene with the S.T.A.F.F driving assist bot head quest is a lore clue. Why do you need a specific 'head' to drive a go-kart if S.T.A.F.F bots are generic? Also worth noting, the post-it note room (presumably Gregory's) is full of Staffbot heads with glowing eyes and Gregory takes Freddy's head with him in the Princess Quest ending. Food for thought…
Freddy tells Gregory to go to the West Arcade, making excuses not to go himself. I believe he knows he cannot get caught again as he will be disassembled. Here, the animatronics really throw themselves at Gregory. Roxy launches herself at him. The half-body of Monty does an alligator death roll jumpscare. Basically, FE makes a last ditch attempt to grab Gregory, even triggering Bouncer mode on DJ Music Man. (No sign of the "nice guy" Freddy claims him to be). Freddy even comments that "The Security System knows you are here and has locked you out". I believe this is a hint. Why would the animatronics be hunting Gregory if they cannot/would not harm a child? And why would the 'security system' be trying to catch him?
After this section, we move onto the endings. Each of these have interesting subtext in this theory.
Gregory leaves: Gregtrap plays along with his 'lost kid' gambit to the end. Henry - as Freddy - helps him to escape. He wants to do so himself but cannot and instead lets his child go, hoping at least he can be safe. However, FE are ready for him. Gregory has nowhere to go and Vanny quickly finds him. Glitchtrap loses.
Fire exit ending: Gregory can drive. Major hint. He does so, laughing like a loon. He's done it. He's escaped the Pizzaplex with Freddy in tow. He runs over Mapbot with glee. He hates the animatronics. Freddy runs out of power but Gregory easily revives him, showing he has more knowledge of tech than he claimed. Glitchtrap wins
Vanny ending: Vanny catches up to Freddy. FE has figured out that Freddy has gone rogue and he is trying to escape/go against Mrs. A. As a result, Vanny instructs the staffbots to disassemble Freddy. Gregory responds by instructing the Staffbots to 'disassemble Vanny'. Gregtrap doesn't really want to - she is his daughter after all and its possible she was his collaborator - but she leaves him no choice. She is acting on behalf of Mrs. A and he needs to survive. He goes back to Freddy and keeps up the Gregory act. He weeps at Henry's side. Given that Freddy and Gregory have a father-son relationship, it's a genuinely sad moment and I believe Freddy is totally genuine in his final words. Glitchtrap survives but everyone else lose.
Burntrap ending: This is the ending where Glitchtrap wins. Working in tandem, Gregory and Burntrap make out that they are fighting but in actuality, Gregory is helping him to escape. The Blob knows Gregory is possessed and tries to stop him. However, what no one realises is that Glitchtrap's ultimate goal is to merge with the Blob, allowing him to grow stronger and ultimately tap into the Pizzaplex' systems.
Princess Quest: The good guys win? Now this is the ending I am still shaky on. I'm unsure what exactly happened. Ultimately, however, Freddy gets to escape (sort of… only his head does) with both of his kids. So is this a happy ending? I'm genuinely not sure. I am not convinced the Princess Quest game freed Vanessa or Gregory or anyone else. It's possible that Gregory just reinfected the Pizzaplex again, removing Mrs. A's control and placing it back in William's. Alternatively, perhaps it did but Gregtrap lives on. That said, I'm sorely tempted to say this is a happy ending and this represents Henry, Greg and Vanessa finding freedom from William and Mrs. A. There are way more sinister readings available though.
A little sidenote: What about Mike? If Freddy is Henry, where does Mike fir in. Well, I think his absence is deliberately glaring. I think we were wrong about the Post-It note room family scene. Mike wasn't represented by Balloon Boy but by the headless robot. Balloon World suggests BB is Gregory. So why is Mike headless? I believe he decided to work against FE and he has been systematically disowned and his existence ignored by Mrs. A ever since. There is a hint to this in Help Wanted. They want to write him out of the story and discredit him as he and his knowledge poses a direct risk to FE's future. This is why he is entirely absent in the Encyclopedia.
I have taken some creative liberties to fill in the gaps but I think this is a good starting point. I believe Security Breach is a game of deduction and deception so its possible there is even more going on. Maybe Gregory and Vanny/Vanessa are working together/double crossed each other? Or Fazbear Entertainment staff were plotting to put Glitchtrap in charge? Its hard to know right now but imho, there is way more to this story than meets the eye here.

Oh I would be happy to elaborate on why I chose them 🥰
Reasons will be under the break line because I will probably have a lot to say knowing me haha
1. Inojin
From his first introduction in the anime, I immediately fell in love with this cheeky boy. I can clearly hear his laugh in my head at all hours of the day. Even though his honesty and sarcasm can be jarring to others, it is quite refreshing to me. His blunt and to the point responses remind me a lot of how my mother is, in fact. But the whole arc with Akkun...that was what really got me. I never want to see him be in pain like that again. Only laughs for him, no more crying. Also, the amount of times I have rewatched "The Mind Transfer that Lost to Potato Chips" episode is...probably much much more than any other human being haha
2. Shikadai
This boy is the reason I came back to the Naruto fandom. Even back when I watched the show on tv in my youth, I was always team ShikaTema. The second I found out they became canon, but not only that but they had a canon child...I needed to know every single detail about how it came to be. And once I met Shikadai, I knew it was all over. I was hooked. I see in him bits of both his mother and his father, two of my favorite characters from the original story, but he is also his own person. I can't wait to see how his story progresses. I hope we get to see him embrace both his Nara and Suna roots even more, and create his own unique way to life.
3. Chocho
Chocho just makes my little foodie heart so warm inside. One of my favorite moments of her in the anime is during the Himawari academy arc where she is considered a master of food knowledge by the younger kids. Food is such a big and special part of my life, and so I relate to Chocho a lot in that regard. Her using food analogies as metaphors for certain life situations is just top tier. I also loved her development during the arc where they served as bodyguards for the movie stars. Her realization that looks aren't everything was something I whole heartedly relate to, which brings me to...
4. Chouji
Chouji has always taken up a massive part of my heart. Of course, his love for food as with his daughter is a big part of that. But, his acceptance of who he is and what he looks like is something I have always admired. I grew up most of my life being very overweight and constantly being teased and made fun of because of it. So, as a kid to watch Chouji not only embrace that about himself, but to use it to his advantage and make himself a better ninja? If that isn't inspiring, I don't know what is.
5. Sai
Sai has really wiggled his way into the depths of my soul. I am sure a big part of that is because of my Dance AU centered around him. But even in canon, his development as a person is truly extraordinary. I was always curious about him from his first introduction in the show. And as his story startled to slowly unfold, every new detail just made me love him even more. How he has overcome the trials of his youth, learning to feel and to love and to just be himself: his journey has been one of my favorites to follow. Seeing him as a father truly makes my heart so so warm. I constantly think about during the Iwagakure arc of Boruto that one scene where he is in the Hokage's office and tightens his grip around his arm. That's it. The one little movement says so so much. He loves his family above all else, and I wish we had gotten to see more of the blank period with how his and Ino's relationship developed. What I would give to see Sai with infant Inojin.
But hey...I guess that's what fanfics and fanart is for, right? 😉
5 Comfort Characters 😊 (in no particular order)
Tagged by @spellcasterlight what a fun cute idea!
It was VERY HARD to only pick 5 but I didn’t wanna cheat so…I just went with those who came to mind first and could always use more love and screen time ❤️
1. Inojin (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations)
2. Shikadai (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations)
3. Chocho (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations)
4. Chouji (Naruto)
5. Sai (Naruto)
I’ll tag *insert your username here* ✨

Kinnporsche Rewatch - Episode 12
Summary: Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too So I stayed in the darkness with you
Or, alternatively, for people who still have their wits about them (not me): Some boys fuck up and other boys fuck.
Favorite Line: “If you’re feeling sad it means it’s important.”
Porsche’s Wacky Antics: Arm and Porsche together again! CODE RED we must spy on Kinn immediately to make sure he’s not cheating, using Arm’s Super Secret Spyware. Uh oh, CODE BLACK Arm you gotta go catch them red-handed! … Uh oh this is... not cheating but. Uh oh. Elsewhere, he moves Chay into the Main Family house, moves him back into Porsche and Chay’s house, and we already know because this is a rewatch that in short order he’s going to move Chay back into the Main Family house.
Why is Chay crying? He’s sad he’s about to break Porsche’s heart by not going to his Music Academy University interview. Come ON kid.
Woe is Big: Still dead. Still no wake. Poor Big.
Tankhun Highlight: Tankhun has disappeared from my eyeballs. Disappointing.
A Woman Speaks: University student asks Chay if he’s here for his interview. When he says no, she goes and starts greeting other students.
What’s Pete eating, and who prepared it for him? Pete doesn’t eat anything. Of the two of them, Vegas is the only one eating. 🍑 He savors it.
Vegas Report: Vegas and his assortment of wide leg pants emphasizes how pocket-sized he is. I would like to pat him on the head. Right as his big pet is recovering and regaining his spark, Vegas’ littlest pet is sick and he fails his dad again. “Everything my dad gives me to do is important,” and Vegas failed in keeping any of the pets foisted on him by his stylish fuck of a father alive. His life is pathetic, and Macau is the same. Being born into the Minor Family is a Series of Unfortunate Events.
Shipping Activities
KinnPorsche: Oh nooooo Porsche’s spying reveals Kinn was behind the debt to force Porsche to take the bodyguard job. People in love don’t lie to each other, Kinn! He was following Korn’s orders and he didn’t know Porsche then. He promises he’ll do better & help Porsche find any answer he wants. He waits until Porsche’s body language indicates permission to touch, and they are such dumbasses with the constant lying and mistrust (it’s hilarious I love it) but they also demonstrate respect for each other? Kinn’s excited to be a domestic goddess at Porsche and Chay’s house – isn’t bread and water a delicious snack? (From a purely Watsonian perspective, these dudes are obsessed with eating bread.) They talk about who has the best home and Kinn is firm that he wants to be in whatever house has Porsche in it. Kinn supports Porsche when they go to take revenge on the dude who supposedly killed his parents, but Porsche can’t hurt someone’s grandpa. Of course he can’t. They revisit the back of Hum Bar where they first met and they start all over again, with no secrets between them (Once again, Ha!). Then there’s bug eating and this time I skipped over that shit because I can only tolerate one watch-through of bugs.
VegasPete: Okay. Okay. *cracks knuckles* Pete’s reading a book about personalities and blood types because “what else is there to do around here,” and Pete is the funniest dude on this show. He and Vegas bicker: “You’re an idiot.” “No, that’s you,” and tease: “I wish I was AB not O type. O is handsome, cool, smart and clever, though.” (It’s notable that Pete is no longer addressing him as Khun.) Apparently pets can reveal their owners’ personalities, and a hedgehog’s owner looks strong & scary but is sensitive inside. You need love, Vegas. Oops, you touched a nerve, Pete. Put your insights away. Vegas “accidentally” leaves the key to the cuffs on the bed when he runs off to save the hedgehog, and Pete’s free! He’s gonna run along home! Except… is that Vegas over there on the lawn? Is he- Is he crying? No, no, gotta go Pete. Time to hightail it out of here. But… what if Vegas is really hurting? Pete knowingly gives up his chance to escape, and when Vegas realizes he looks just as stunned as Pete. Pete shuffles closer and it’s so sad that little hedgie is gone, and Pete slowly reaches out with a gentle touch. I’m holding my breath this is Too Much. That’s all it takes for Vegas and the waterworks really begin. They have a lovely funeral for the hedgehog (This is not the time or place but WHERE IS BIG’S FUNERAL). Pete willingly follows Vegas back inside and he doesn’t know why he didn’t run. Everything Vegas loves leaves him and he’s stupid and he starts self-flagellating but Pete won’t let him. It’s okay to be sad but it’s stupid to hurt yourself. Vegas accuses Pete of thinking Vegas deserves this grief but Pete is not having that nonsense and he tells him so. Vegas regains enough composure to be cruel – he’s got insights too, Pete. He can see you like it when Vegas is “moody.” He can see behind Pete’s mask too. Don’t go around perceiving people when you can also be perceived! It’s rude! Pete tells Vegas he’s a psycho and Vegas basically responds with yeah? Well so are you. What are you gonna do about it, huh? Pete’s ready to let whatever is happening here happen, but Vegas isn’t willing to take this one thing. It has to be given, and Pete has to make a choice. He chose to stay, and now he must choose again. Vegas isn’t interested in a passive doll. So Pete Chooses. He grabs, demands, and takes. He asks. He wants, he hungers, and he chooses to give that to Vegas. He offers Vegas trust. Hip hip hooray for explicit consent!!! Between the two men hanging out in the torture bungalow, everything until now has been force and coercion, but this is shared and freely given. My screams are loud and unceasing. The focus on Pete’s tattoo! Pete handing Vegas the rope! The kiss to his bound hands! The tenderness! The unwavering eye contact! Asking for what you want and getting it! Their smiles in the afterglow: knowing and being known for the first time in their lives. I see you. I see you, too. I know you. There you are, my reflection, finally after all this time. There’s nothing more to question here, right? ... Right? The white noise surrounding me is rolling thunder and high pitched keening. I’m undone.
Do I care about KimChay yet? No. Porchay jeopardizes his future at University because of this useless fucker. Stalking him to a club does not make it better, Kim (Did he put a tracker on Chay’s phone? Did he? I will fight him. He’ll take me out with his bare hands but I will fight him.) Yeah Chay’s making some questionable choices but that’s none of Kim’s business. Chay can be an idiot without you, dude. (Oh dear. I’m rereading that and realizing my tone is not one of disinterest. Well shit. If I’ve played myself here I’m gonna be so pissed. No. Nope. I’m just gonna breeze on by that moment of self-reflection mmmkay?)
# of KimChay scenes in this episode: 1
# of KimChay scenes I watched without skipping through: 1
Kisses: Vegas and Pete consummation sensation. Porsche and Kinn smooching and eating bread. More KP smooching behind Yok’s bar.
Tits Out: Pete and Vegas, baby.
What’s Gun wearing? He left Vegas alone for five minutes, praise all the gods. Wherever he is I’m sure he looks amazing.
Serious Observations of Various Sorts: Porsche and Chay are precious together. That’s all. Watching Korn lie through his teeth without a care in the world is just *clenches fist* grrrrrrrr fun. His betta fishies in their terrible vases smashed up against each other! Gah! Tay is the ultimate cinnamon roll: too good for this world, too pure. Time ought to get his shit together and be worthy of him. Or, you know, ASK first before trying to start up a polycule. Tay is clearly over the bullshit and I support him I will buy him so much Farmhouse bread.
Have I calmed down? No, and we’re close enough to the end that I’m starting to worry I just… won’t. I know what’s coming and it does not bode well for my future peace.

The Rookie 4x01 Life and Death Recap ****Spoiler city****
I promised a friend a recap, since she can’t watch until tomorrow, so I figured I might as well post it for anyone who wants to see it? I never can figure out a read more break on mobile so fair warning, DON’T LOOK IF YOU DON’T WANT SPOILERS 😁
This is just a rough draft thing, so it’s probably full of typos.
@hamburgerheroes @piratesbooty63fan
Phew… crazy first episode. Unfortunately I was fielding calls and texts about a work issue the whole time so my viewing was very disjointed. So I’m rewatching as I type this recap for you.
The episode is preceded with a recap, of course. Then the opening scene is Chen, Bradford, Nolan, and Harper in tactical gear approaching a warehouse.
While waiting for the go order from Grey, grey has flashbacks of a few hours earlier. They realize Lopez and West are both missing, they find out La Fiera has escaped and assume she took them, then they get security footage of the kidnapping and are watching it at the station, still in their wedding attire. As we suspected. The footage shows Lopez being put in a vehicle and West struggling, then shot in the back, then stuffed into the trunk. Everyone is in shock, Lucy is crying.
Lots of fans are really upset about Jackson, and I get it. But the show runner and writers had no choice. Here’s excerpts from an interview with Alexi
At this point, we’re back to Grey a different officer wants to wait, but Grey says it’s been 3 hours and they need to move fast and orders them in.
They breach the warehouse, find an empty get away car and Angela’s wedding dress on the floor. Lucy moves to pick it up, Nolan stops her, there is a trip wire to explosives under the SUV. They leave the warehouse and realize they had a plane waiting there from the tracks it left.
Next we see La Fiera, Angela, and her female goon in the airplane. Angela assumes they’re going to Guatemala so she can torture and kill her slowly, but La Fiera tells her (as we suspected) that she’ll be kept alive until Angela safely delivers her (La Fiera’s) baby (of course)
Next Grey and Wesley are meeting with a DEA bigwig who essentially says, we ain’t helping. Next they arrive in the compound in Guatemala and talk about how impenetrable it is, etc. She meets the doctor who will be attending her. Angela tries to tell the doctor not to touch her and La Fiera says if she resists she will be sedated for the rest of the pregnancy.
Back at the station Lucy is talking with Nolan, beating herself up about not seeing the trip wire. She’s really just upset about Jackson, she says she can’t believe he’s gone and she and Nolan hold hand for a moment.
Tim and Harper join them and discuss if Lopez is still alive and why. Lucy comes up with the theory that La Fiera wants Angela’s baby as the ultimate revenge. Grey tells them the DEA won’t help. They talk about how Jackson scratched his killer and they’re running DNA. Grey tells them all to go home and get some rest while they work on a plan. ***Chenford alert***
Lucy says she can’t go home and see Jackson’s empty room. Tim says, “you don’t have to, you can stay with me”
Dying!
She says she doesn’t want to impose and this is where he says she shouldn’t be alone right now. She says thanks, he says yeah, then she wonders how Wesley is holding up.
Cut to Wesley meeting with some bad guy and offering to turn dirty lawyer in exchange for finding out where Angela is. I do not like this development and what it can/will do to them in the future.
Cut to a short, weird interaction with Lopez and the female bodyguard then, back to Chenford.
We see Tim in his jammies, setting up his couch to sleep on. The house looks different than I remember it and surely it has at least 2 bedrooms, so why the couch 🤷🏻♀️. Anyway. He looks adorable in his jammies. He says, “I’ll take the couch”. Lucy walks out of presumably his bedroom and says she thought he was setting up the couch for her. He says he’s not going to have a guest sleep on the couch and she says she’s not going to kick him out of his bed. He says okay, gets up. Looks a bit awkward, a bit nervous. Asks her if she needs anything. She says “the last 24 hours back”, he says he doesn’t have that power. She says, “a hug” and he says, “yeah. Come here” in a soft voice that nearly made me combust! He hugs her. As they go to part things get all UST, he croaks out “night”, can’t quite meet her eyes. Meanwhile she’s definitely got the “realization” light bulb starting to go off slowly. Still a bit confused. He goes to his room and flops into bed. Obviously affected by what just happened. she is the same out on the couch. Fidgety with nervous energy. He looks toward the door like he’s about to go back out there to her, say something more (do something more?) she looks toward his door from the couch, obviously contemplating same. Back to him purposefully looking away from the door, back to her making her decision. She’s pushing the covers off about to go to his door, when his door suddenly opens. He’s on the phone saying “yeah, okay, we’ll be right there”. She tries to pretend she wasn’t already up and moving toward the door. He says Wesley knows where Angela is and they head into the station.
Oh man, it was sooo gooood!!!
Next it’s the Wesley telling them that he knows where they’re holding Angela. They all say they want to help, but Grey says how’re we gonna do that . They bring up “Max” the covert government guy from the counterfeit money case. Grey says fine, reach out. He tasks Tim, Harper, and John to start tactical plan and says Lucy will stay with him to run the murder case. Then he takes a moment to congratulate Nolan on officially becoming a P2. They get the DNA back, the killer is a 17 year old kid.
Government guy shows up at Nolan’s they coerce him into helping. They go to Guatemala separately from Wesley who is supposed to get a meeting with La Fiera without getting killed. Nyla and Tim look hot playing with military surveillance toys while John steals the plans to La Fiera’s compound from the architect.
Lucy and Grey go after the killer. Grey has a really great scene after cornering the killer and he and Lucy take him in.
Back at the compound Wesley gets to see Angela. John tells Nyla and Tim that he has the plans and there’s a weakness, but the drone shows that the weakness has been fixed so they have to go to plan B. Nyla does not like plan B!
Cut to a very sad scene of Lucy finally going home and looking at Jackson’s room as he left it. Tim calls, says they’re going to plan B. Lucy, as well, does not like plan B. She says to give her a minute to get set up. Tim then radios government guy Max, who also does not like plan B. They decide on a different extraction point and he reminds them if they aren’t there at the agreed upon time they will be left behind.
They alert Wesley with fireworks. Turns out plan B is him injecting Angela with pitocin to start contractions so that they’ll have to transport her out of the compound to the hospital. Nyla will have a drug to counterreact the pitocin at the hospital.
Unfortunately, they separate Angela and Wesley. He’s put in a different car to take him away and kill him so Nolan goes after Wesley while Tim and Nyla get set up at the hospital. Lucy is tapped into a satellite giving them info on the vehicles, etc. Tim says, thanks, we got it from here”. Lucy says, “Tim”, the tension clear in her voice. “Please be careful”. With more significance than just one officer to another. He’s in business mode and replies, “I always am”.
Bradford and Harper ambush LaFiera et al. Angela gets into the hospital with Tim and Nyla and gives Angela the reversal shot. As they make their escape to the helicopter LaFiera follows and fires on them, grazing Angela’s leg, she turns and shoots La Fiera, killing her. They make it to the chopper, tell Max they need to get Wesley and Nolan, he says no, they all point their guns at him and he decides to make the stop.
Wesley and Nolan fight their two bad guys (Nolan simply must save the day in each episode). They make it to the chopper, everyone is safe and they get the hell out of dodge.
Then, the time jump. It’s 3 months later and Angela and Wesley are arriving home from the hospital with their son to a surprise welcome home party with Grey, Nolan, Harper, and Chen. They’ve stocked their freezer and bought them a second freezer and stocked that too. Tim is happy and relaxed. Lucy is a bit overly cheerful, it’s obviously a bit forced. She and Nyla present Angela with a basket full of teas and herbs and cookies tailored to uterine health and breast milk production (as she would). Nyla admits that it was all Lucy when she walks away. That it was good for Lucy to concentrate on something positive. This makes Angela turn a bit sad and reflective. The show ends with Angela holding her baby and standing at Jackson’s grave updating him on her life and how she misses him and hopes by the time her leave is over that she’ll be able to face the station without him in it. She then reveals (again, as we suspected) that her baby’s name is Jackson😢

Updated K-drama list (4)
This list is getting looooong, because I’m well and truly addicted to these shows and can’t stop watching them.
I think its because each show is so self-contained - one series, 16-20 episodes and its done. A clear beginning, middle and a satisfying end. That, together with all the tropes in play (SO MANY TROPES!!) makes each show feel like a novel come to life. And when I start a good novel, I have to finish it in one go. This usually results in me staying up till 2am because I NEED TO KNOW HOW IT ENDS. And it’s the same with these shows. I’m getting very little sleep, but I’m having a hell of a good time!
FAVOURITES
1. Crash Landing on You
He’s from North Korea. She’s from South Korea. They never should have met, but they’ll change each other’s lives.
This was my first K-drama, and its still my favourite. The full cast of characters is great, the lead romance is ANGSTALICIOUS and its genuinely, laugh out loud funny (when its not making you cry or swoon).
Male lead: Officially the best boyfriend ever. With added dimples.
Tear-jerk factor: 4/5
2. Healer
The lives, and pasts, of a hot shot reporter, a spunky young tabloid journalist and a mysterious thief-for-hire intersect.
This was so addictive - the plot was tight and engaging, and this is one of the few shows I’ve watched where there didn’t seem to be a lot of filler. I loved the central 3 characters, and the romance was amazing. I especially loved that the male lead started off such a brooding loner, but he became super-affectionate as soon as he admitted his feelings. So many good hugs and lots of face-cradling in this one.
Male lead: Effortlessly beats up 2 henchmen while comforting his girl over the phone. What more do you need?
Tear-jerk factor: 1/5
3. Itaewon Class
A young man’s life is forever altered when he runs afoul of a powerful family.
This felt like a big step up in quality from everything else in this list, in terms of the production, soundtrack (which was brilliant), the lack of annoying sound effects, and just the overall ‘real world’ feel of the show. All of the characters were fleshed out and 3-dimensional, and they all had their ‘moment’ to shine. The story itself was gripping and so well done - some of the twists and reveals had me gasping! And what can I say about the 2 leads? I love them, both separately, and together. He is so wise beyond his years, and his journey will break your heart and inspire you. She is borderline sociopathic, but I adore her.
Male lead: Tenacious, principled, kind, innocent, caring, driven, loyal…and he can cook!
Tear-jerk factor: 2/5
4. Descendants of the Sun
A special forces Captain meets a capable and beautiful trauma surgeon. They feel an instant bond, but their jobs and philosophy on life get in the way, threatening to tear them apart.
Halfway through this show, I seriously thought this might overtake CLOY as my No. 1 fav. I absolutely LOVE the male lead character, and the romance was beautiful…but it didn’t quite nail the angst and the last minute was a bit twee which dropped it down the rankings a bit.
Male lead: A cocky, charming, absolute BADASS with the most adorable, cheeky smile.
Tear-jerk factor: 2/5
5. Love in the Moonlight / Moonlight Drawn by Clouds
A young woman poses as a eunuch in the Royal Palace and falls in love with the Crown Prince
I wanted to try something different so I opted for this period piece and OH MY GOD am I glad I did. The start had a really light comedic tone (and a lot of modern anachronisms - high fives everywhere!) and I loved all the identity-concealing hi-jinks. But then the romance kicked into gear and the DELICIOUS angst started flowing, and I became obsessed with it. It's like loads of bits of my favourite regency historical romances were mashed up and transported to the Joseon Dynasty. I loved it so much!
Male lead: Manages to look amazingly handsome despite all the period headgear, kicks ass with a sword, and doesn't allow himself to be manipulated by the corrupt officials surrounding him, which was refreshing. Also acts like an adorable goofball when he's in love.
Tear-jerk factor: 2/5
6. My Holo Love
A lonely woman falls for a holographic AI and then meets his creator...
I love the concept of this show (I’m a big sci-fi nerd), and it was beautifully shot. The lead relationship is well developed and it doesnt fall into a typical love triangle. I’ve come to realise it utilises a lot of K-drama tropes (face-blindness! shared childhood trauma!), but it does it really well, imho.
Male lead: Tortured loner genius. My catnip.
Tear-jerk factor: 2/5
7. Goblin
A 900yr old immortal guardian finally meets the ‘bride’ who will end his existence
Once I got over the slight ick-factor of the age difference between the two characters at the beginning, I really fell for this show and it’s world. It had me in tears. And I especially loved the secondary character of the Grim Reaper.
Male lead: Surprising innocent and funny for a 900 year old
Tear-Jerk factor: 5/5
8. What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim
An personal assistant decides to quits her job in order to get a life. Her boss has other ideas.
I loved the female lead in this - I’m a sucker for uber-competent people, and the actress is STUNNING. Her boss is self-centred, entitled and vain...but over time, somehow that just becomes endearing! Possibly because he’s played by Park Seo Joon, who can do no wrong in my book! The central romance is super cute - I can rewatch their scenes again and again.
Male lead: Like I said, somehow makes vanity and narcissism endearing. Also not afraid to get his shirt off and flash his 6-pack. Bonus.
Tear-Jerk factor: 0/5
9. Legend of the Blue Sea
A mermaid comes onto land to find the man she loves
The (literal) fish-out-of-water scenes in the first half of this show were hilarious - the actress is a comic genius! The romance was nicely done, and there wasn’t a lot of extraneous plot or too many characters. I couldn’t stop watching this one!
Male lead: Cocky, arrogant conman with a soft mushy centre
Tear-Jerk factor: 1/5
10. Fight for my Way
Two life-long friends decide to go after their dreams
I fast-forwarded large chunks of this (I wasn’t interested in the secondary couple at all), but it still made my favourite list because I love the leads - both as separate characters and as a couple. This is one of the best friends-to-lovers stories I’ve seen, mainly because you truly buy that these 2 have known each other their entire lives (their bickering and teasing feels so natural). And then when they take the next step, they’re so affectionate and refreshingly open with their feelings.
Male lead: The third Park Seo Joon character on this list! I love his contradictions. He’s goofy and childish…but can really turn on the sexy charm; he’s a badass MMA fighter…who loves when his girlfriend sticks up for him and protects him.
Tear-jerk factor: 0.5/5
11. Suspicious Partner
A young, hardworking lawyer has her life turned upside down when she is put on trial for murder.
This has been officially bumped up to my favourites list - partly because I’m now a massive Ji Chang Wook fan, and partly because I’ve rewatched scenes with better subtitles and its made it 10x better. Its still overly long, but the serial killer plot had some nice twists and it was central to the story, so it didn’t feel extraneous like some of these types of plots do. I really enjoyed the central romance - the 2 characters sparked off each other well and I loved their evolution from sort-of enemies to lovers. This is another show where I can endlessly rewatch their scenes together.
Male lead: Its Ji Chang Wook! He’s so good at playing serious guys who are secretly big dorks.
Tear Jerk factor: 0.5/5
NOTABLE MENTIONS
These are shows which I completed and really enjoyed but they had flaws which kept them out of the favourites list.
1. The K2
An ex-mercenary takes a job as a bodyguard protecting the illegitimate daughter of a politician. A sort-of Snow White retelling.
This started off really well, with some amazing fight sequences (hello, shower room scene!). However, the back half became too bogged down in double crosses and manipulations, and it focussed too much on the politicians. The writers did well to give these characters some layers, but they were all essentially doing bad things for the wrong reasons, and I just didn’t care about them. The show was much better when it was following K2’s journey. The romance also started off well, but was a bit underdeveloped (mainly because they barely interacted).
2. I Am Not a Robot
A man who is allergic to human contact finds companionship with a robot…or does he?
I honestly thought I wouldn’t make it passed a couple of episodes of this - the concept was just too ridiculous. But I’m glad I persevered, because it developed some real depth and some proper good angst towards the end and I LOVED the central relationship.
3. Extraordinary You
A high school student discovers she's a supporting character in a comic book
The plot of this was so unique, and the way the comic story played out interspersed with the characters 'real lives' was really well done. Plus the central couple were so adorable. It dragged in the middle section (several versions of the same conversations were had, and the same exposition was spelled out multiple ways for no apparent reason) which kept it out of my favourite list, but it redeemed itself with some good angst at the end, and it had a really lovely ‘epilogue'.
4. My Love from the Star
Alien stranded on earth meets an actress soon before he’s due to be rescued.
I finally gave this another chance, and I’m glad I did. The female lead got a LOT less irritating, and I enjoyed the present-day romance and all the flashes back to the past. However, the ending was really abrupt and disappointing (which kept it out of my favourite list). There should have been 1 less filler episode in the middle, and a decent, fleshed out finale instead.
5. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo
A young talented weightlifter experiences first love
Honestly, I wasn’t sold on this at first; the female lead was a bit much (lot of gurning and over-acting) and there was a weird disconnect between how she was described (big, overweight, manly, unfeminine) and how she actually looked (thin and beautiful!). But the back half of this show saved it; her relationship with Joon-Hyung was sooooo cute. He is adorable, and they were both so supportive of each other’s dreams. I finished this with a big smile on my face.
6. Because this is my First Life
A rational-to-a-fault software designer and an aspiring screenwriter come up with an unconventional way to solve their housing problem
When I started this, I thought it was going to be all light and fluffy (the main character's job in the beginning was to insert the product placement in Korean dramas - hello, Red Ginseng! - which I found hilarious and meta) but it had a surprisingly melancholic tone throughout and touched on issues of workplace harassment and gender roles. I didn't warm to the male lead until right at the end (which was probably partly intentional - he's very remote and closed off) but overall I found the story quite lovely. Plus it had a really great central female friendship and their conversations actually passed the Bechdel test!
7. Strong Girl Bong-Soon
A woman with inherited super-strength gets a job as a bodyguard for an eccentric young CEO
The lead couple in this are AD-OR-ABLE and I loved their relationship. But there was a weird tone issue in this show. The romance is super cute...but there’s a whole dark sub plot involving multiple women being held captive by a psychopath. I ended up fast forwarding most of that, and just concentrated on the romance.
THE OTHERS...
I finished these shows and liked parts of them, but they ultimately didn’t set my world on fire.
1. Her Private Life
A talented art curator tries to keep her professional persona separate from her fangirl obsession with a pop idol.
This was cute and I loved the central relationship - he was so supportive of her, and their interactions were refreshingly mature and their banter felt really natural. Ultimately, it was a bit forgettable (I’m not dying to rewatch any of it), and the last minute tacked-on childhood trauma subplot was really unnecessary.
2. Touch Your Heart
Star actress rocked by scandal works at a law firm to prepare for her comeback role
This starred the secondary couple from Goblin and I really like them, even though they are playing very different characters in this (more opposites attract, than doomed lovers). At first I found this too ‘cutesy’, but I’ve since realised the sound effects/graphics are a K-drama thing and not unique to this show, so I’m not as down on it as I was. I still had to fast forward a lot of the secondary romances which I wasn’t invested in.
3. Hyde, Jekyll and Me
A woman becomes involved in the lives of 2 men, who share one body
This stars Hyun Bin from CLOY and he is sooo watchable, especially as the slick-haired, glasses-wearing, uptight Seo-Jin. And the show started well...but quickly went off the rails into a convoluted, dragged-out revenge plot.
4. Melting Me Softly
Two people are accidentally cryogenically frozen for 20 years. They have to navigate the modern world and their new lives together.
Another good concept, but it ultimately descended into little more than a light work-place romance. Had a couple of good kissing scenes, but it was overall a bit forgettable.
And the DNF:
My Secret Romance
I started watching this because I was looking for something a little less PG - the characters have a one night stand in the first episode! But I couldn’t get passed the bad acting and cheap production.
Master’s Sun
I liked the premise but the 2 leads weren’t very attractive (at least in comparison to the insanely beautiful actors/actresses in the shows listed above). Call me superficial, but I couldn’t see myself spending 17 hours watching them and willing them to kiss.

TKEM Episode 12
I actually really liked this episode. I’m glad they showed how LG found out about JTL in the beginning. Also man I LOVE EUN-SUP. He’s the babiest baby and just how do you not have a smile on your face just watching him?? Him with not-Nari and him when he reunited with JTL!! That was PRECIOUS I love the friendship between JTL and ES.
Okay ALL of JTL-LG scenes today were TOP TIER 🥺 Everything from when he saves her, to the conversation right after she wakes up, him making her food in his navy uniform, her picking clothes and him giving her a necklace, their trip to where she was kidnapped, their conversations at the church!!, him crying because of the very likely possibility that they don’t have a “forever”, and the KISSESS (baby time??). Damn we were so well fed in this episode. There’s 4 episodes left and this has me worried.
Lady Noh...there’s a lot packed in her. Also did she asked JTL the question about the war to see if she really was from KOC or what? I was a little confused about why she asked but I have to go back rewatch.
What is Lee Lim trying with LG’s mom from ROK? LG himself said he doesn’t care much to see his ROK mom’s face because it’s not his real mom. So I would think if LL is trying to use her against LG it wouldn’t work the best? But also LG wouldn’t let an innocent die, but most definitely he won’t give up the flute. I’m terrified for the day LG has to pick between the Manpasikjeok and JTL 😩😩😩
Jo Yeong talking about when he first became LG’s bodyguard 🥺 “I just wanted him to be happy.” MAN I ship both JTL and JY with LG. Also I love that they addressed that there are rumors of them dating LMAO.
Okay now I need to go in depth about JTL and LG because how can I not ship them more and more each episode at this rate? The neck kiss? Excuse me?? Aksbdbdkslsl. It’s sad they can’t dream of a future of them as a family with mini them running around. I also love how LG still gets scared everytime JTL puts her hair in a ponytail lmao. I love all the angst but hate it at the same time 😭 I need more than 16 episodes.
Um PM Koo wtf? I hate you?? I really thought they wouldn’t make her so bitchy and let her actually have a purpose but so far she just seems like a bitch. How can you wish despair upon someone you want to marry? I hope her characterization gets better.
As usual I’ll have more to say soon but I’ll end it for now with this. I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this scene. The way she misses him. His worry. How he shoots the gun (why is that so hot??). Just everything.

Bunch of Hope wanted plots. Like if you like to talk doing one of these plots
College au. Hope jumped into Malivore and when she comes back no one remembers her. Freya was trying to find Rebekah (who had been kidnapped) only to be lead to HOpe because she did a spell to call her to Mikaelson blood. Hope ends up back at the compound and starting college/ Landon and Rafael finished the Salvatore school and ended up finding a home in New Orleans. Landon working at a local restaurant that Hope always comes into for lunch, the two of them flirting and at some point, Hope asks him on a date. It isn’t after the first kiss but after the first time sleeping together does all memories coming back to everyone. The angst of it all and them going about their relationship now.
Also, presidents party girl daughter who has been assigned a new secret service bodyguard. He has no idea what he’s in for or the trouble she attracts. She has a problem with the word no’ and he likes to say it a lot.
AU on 1x05 of Legacies: Hope turns around, kisses Landon and then decides to go with him
someone take Hope bowling and let her win or better yet, take Hope bowling and get her drunk
I want a twisted what if plot where Hope and Roman went to a witch in Mystic Falls and bound her werewolf side, her mother was let go and Hayley finding out her daughter did the unthinkable.
So this is cheesy but assuming Klaus rarely comes back to Mystic Falls it could work. Normally, I never have Hope anywhere near Mystic Falls if she never knew her dad but au on an au where Hope goes to the Boarding School or goes to Mystic High and Klaus comes to town to see this kick-ass red-haired girl that has eyes that shine bright golden when she is angry, does magic freely, and has been sipping blood for days and he can smell it
Freya going to Hope’s parent-teacher conferences and Alaric saying that she doesn’t listen to him. “What do you want me to do?” Freya asks. “Maybe if you stop treating her like some magical little pony that can be used and thrown away she would listen better.” Hope sitting in the chair next to her aunt texting on her phone pretending not to listen to everything that is going on.
I love verses where Hope grows up not knowing one of her parents because she is different there and it is like magic. But in canon, Hope deserved a hell of a lot better like KNOWING her father instead of having to guess the little things. She didn’t get to ask questions about his likes and dislikes, instead had to read about him to feel connected to him. She couldn’t ask him what his favorite drink was or what he likes to do besides painting.
So I have a private verse of Nashville based but another verse based on it would be amazing. Handon, Hosie, Hizzie. all with Hope being Juliette
I still want Hope going dark full tribrid and Hayley coming back to life because someone has to stop her daughter and angsty feels
AU Handon: Reincarnated lovers, again and again, these two always find each other again. Set more if Hope had been born after her father broke the curse (If he had done it back when Katherine was still human) and Hayley was born much earlier. Anyways, immortal Hope chasing after her not so immortal true love and all of the angsty moments. Flashbacks of Landon and Hope in different eras living completely different lives doing their thing, Landon dying young for some reason or another until he ends up being born a phoenix (or golem. I need to research both of these really) and just this whole thing is cheesy and overdone but still going to put it in my wishlist tag
A verse where Landon was pushed into the pit would be interesting or even one where Landon was pushed and then Hope jumped in to destroy said pit and two years later both Landon and Hope come back and find themselves in a middle of a field
So plot idea. Hope and Landon go about their lives and Hope becomes pregnant. She has the baby and with that, she uses the 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬 𝐕𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢 to bring back both Klaus and Hayley. Like how Davina used Hope’s birth as a 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐬 𝐕𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢 to bring back Mikael.
Hope would bring back Mikael just to torture the fuck out of him, She hates the fact that Mikael brought her family pain for their immortal lives. Hope would make him beg for death. He thinks her father is an abomination so keeping him in a nice cellar for her own pleasure would be fine by her.
Davina and Hope should draw together! Aunt and niece quality time
I really don’t need to do the whole let’s rewrite the Originals with Klayley but man, now since watching the first episode I want to do it differently. Starting with Klaus being the one there for Hayley when Agnes does her shit, him in the pool with her. give them the freaking pregnancy they should have gotten even with Klaus being Klaus. I blame by sudden Hayley muse on rewatch and reading fanfiction. So while this isn’t a Hope plot it is a plot
You know, why didn’t they just bring Finn back from the dead and shove the Hollow into him? He didn’t want to be a vampire and that way he could stay together forever. Instead of taking Hope’s mom and her dad from her.
No, but for real. Klaus flipping the fuck out when this teenager comes claiming he is daddy. Hope throwing her phone across the room and shattering it when she sees her mother’s name pop up on the screen. Klaus doing the same thing he did to Hayley in canon of pinning her to the wall by her neck, Hope knocking him on his ass with magic. Hope being locked in the place that Roman had been in when it comes to canon. Hayley showing up and threatening to rip apart Klaus’s hybrid army if he doesn’t start talking about where her daughter is. The two of them getting physical upstairs and Hope hearing the yelling and screaming. Marcel sneaking down to take a peek at this teen that claims to be Klaus’s daughter and ending up distracting her from the fighting. Hope ending up bonding with Marcel from the start. They play tic-tac-toe with different colored rocks (one color for o’s and one for x’s). Hayley throwing a royal fit to find her kid and Klaus ordering Elijah to go get the defiant teenager. Hope coming back up, having to be physically dragged by Elijah and the moment she sees her mother start’s crying her eyes out. Hayley finally hearing a heartbeat that isn’t Hope’s because Hope had cloaked it with magic until she was out of state going to find her father.
In just a Marshall. Hope running to find her father when she finds out she is pregnant. I can just see it in my head. Plot idea for sure here!
Muse A is a single parent of a very young child, just getting back out there and dating because it’s terribly lonely sometimes. They’re out at a bar and meet Muse B, who’s got a reputation for being a heartbreaker. One thing leads to another and Muse A invites Muse B home for a one-night stand. That morning, Muse B awakens to Muse A’s very small child sitting on their chest, asking if they are their new parent.
A thread or verse where Gretta killed Hope right in front of Hayley and spent two hours torturing and taunting the mother that just “lost” her child. Hope laying on the floor the whole time and all of a sudden Hope wakes back up in transition and hungry, enough that she r breaks the chains and sends both Gretta and Roman onto the ground with magic, pinning them to the floor as she frees her mother and Hayley kills Gretta by taking her heart out while Hope shoves a piece of wood into Roman. Give me Hope dealing with that she died, give me Hope killing someone when feeding and becoming a full tribrid. give me Hayley dealing with the fact that her daughter had kidnapped her first.
So in the adopted or so they hoped verse. I had this idea of how they had Marcel down in the basement and only Mikaelson blood could know where he was and hear him. What if Freya spelled a room in the house for only Mikaelson blood could enter and or hear what is being said and Hope sits down in the kitchen when they all come down and Hope asks, “So what are we going to do about BLANK.” asking about the thing the Mikaelson family just talked about before they came down.
Okay but a college au with Lizzie, Josie, and Hope sharing an apartment that has three bedrooms. Hope meeting Landon later in life and brings him home one night. Lizzie stopping to admire his backside. The girls fighting over the bathroom, struggling with homework, going out partying, paying bills, and just everything that goes with it. Each of them having their own lives but coming together sort of thing.
Give me Hope going back in time to help her mother find her family. Give me Hope appearing in Freya’s dreams when Freya was with Dahlia. Give me Hope going back in time to the very day she met Landon or even when Landon was locked in the transitional cellar. Give me Hope collecting blood every day and taking it with her when she goes to save Landon and instead of her jumping into Malivore, she dumps a hell of a lot of blood into the pit. Give me that it works and she saved the day. Give me when Josie lit the fire in Hope’s room and Hope goes back in time to spot it. Give me Hope deciding to take a different path and becomes friends with the twins after the events of the Originals (After going back in time). Give me Hope going back in time to when her father is human and using magic to show him the life he is going to have for him to have hope for the future. Give me Hope going to the future where she has kids and is married. give me normal Hope going to see Ripper Hope. Or Mikaelson Boarding School Hope going to the normal world.
Princess Protection Program AU because why not?
Once again Supernatural royal but freaking everyone wanting to be in the favor of the Mikaelson family so wanting their kid to make Hope fall for them so that way it has protection for life.
So I am so freaking cheesy but royal aus ONLY supernatural. Two rival kingdoms that have been fighting for thousands of years decide to stop the war if there was an alliance so the parents get together and decided that the firstborns are going to get married
So I want an au where Hope is kidnapped by Greta instead of Hayley. I want Hayley and Klaus saving their baby girl instead of Hayley dying. I want Hope binding her werewolf side or even worse, them binding her witch side and Freya has to figure a way to fix it.
So thread based on Hope turning Rafael back into wolf form. Bonus points if he found human (that he couldn’t harm for some reason? Didn’t exactly chase her down sort of thing) and she is living off the land in this old crappy cabin and Rafael comes back often. He tells her about this school for people like them. Hope going by her middle name and Rafael just finding a really good friend in her. Could turn Rafael x Hope romantic or stay platonic.
Hope has been in a mood for the past couple days. Give her children! Give her angsty pregnancy threads. I mean, she fears having a child but wants them. She doesn’t want her kids to be feared like she is.
Hope body painting Landon would be funny as hell. “Stop moving.” “I swear to god if you tickle my side one more time Hope!” I can see these two spending a lazy Saturday together like this. Hope painting his back while Landon lays on the bed with his head turned watching scifi movies. It wouldn’t be something she would do if her dad was in the house because she doesn’t need him barging in saying, “Alright! Party’s over!” even if she is an adult. That gives me a good idea for her way to tell him she is pregnant if they were together. Alright, so I can see it as Hope sort of using her nursery for inspiration. Hope painting a beautiful sort of nursery set up with a rocking chair that holds Landon and a blanketed baby in like a yellow color so it isn’t that traditional pink or blue thing (even more so because at that time they wouldn’t know what they are having). A sign that hangs on the wall above the crib that says something really cheesy like “Loading…” and see you in ten months (Or maybe even like thirteen? Since Hayley had been pregnant longer with Hope but that most likely was an error in the continuing of the storyline). Hope taking a few pictures when it is all dry that she will edit on her laptop and send out in emails or if they decide to make a social media announcement that they could use the painting as a way to say, “Get ready for another Mikaelson!”
Handon freaking teen pregnancy; young parent au with everything being the same with them being supernaturals.
Handon only a twisted thing sort of based on the drabble I wrote. Hope ending up like Landon’s mother (pregnant) after coming out of the ashes of what would be Malivore. The moment Hope sees Landon again, all his memories of her flash before his eyes.
Okay but the just pretend world for me but with instead of Landon going to Mystic High when he finds out about Hope being supernatural. It being kind of legacies where Hope goes to stop the Catholic church to save a werewolf (Rafael), without her dad knowing and well, instead she drives them to New Orleans with Rafael sleeping in the back seat and somehow Hope manages to convince her dad to let them stay just for a few days which turns into a few months.
So writing Legacies? A thing I want, starting from the moment Landon asks her to stay with him. Her crawling into bed with him to keep him calm because of small spaces. Alaric deciding that he can stay. The knife still ending up being taken by him like in the show but instead of finding a fire breathing witch / dragon in the woods, it comes on campus wanting the knife.
Handon first apartment though. Hope and Landon painting walls, getting into a paint fight. Moving day. the first night at their new place. Give me them buying furniture and fighting over silly things. Give me soft kisses in the room that is going to be their room even.
AU where Hope goes with Landon to find his mom. So drinking coffee every morning with him at the coffee shop with Landon while his mom works. Going to motel rooms and just giving her a taste of what could have been. Plus, I mean imagine Hope with Landon when he was given drugs, she would be still standing and his mother would be all, “What the fuck?” Just Handon road trip really.
Okay but an au where Landon’s mom kept him. Where when Landon’s mom woke from being in the pit, she ends up working for the Mikaelson family. Landon and Hope growing up together and ending up being the best friends to lovers trope. Landon’s mother being hired to keep Hope safe from threats of the Mikaelson family. Even though she thought of supernaturals as monsters that shouldn’t exist, it was good money
Okay but Hope starting a school of her own when her kids are growing up with Landon. They set up the school in New Orleans for Hope’s pack, the witches, and the vampires that come back into town. Headmistress Mikaelson and Headmaster Kirby. The two of them raising their kids together without shame of being this completely unheard of species. Everyone treated like they should be. Just feels. Married Handon with a school though?
Dark Hope and Landon. Blood covered, murdering couple of the year, I am totally seeing Mr and Mrs. Andreason episode of Criminal minds. The couple fucked near the dead body and just killer couple trope right there. Totally twisted and fucked up, tribrid and her boy. Just give me darkness. Two people that will kill anyone but each other.
So, in general, the idea of Hope wanting to murder Roman being a thing. She clearly wouldn’t know her mother is either at the school or lurking about able to sneak into her world undetected. My thought is he is like his mother (because there is no way he is innocent in my mind) so if there was even a thought she was pregnant he would suggest getting rid of it or even trying to kill Hope himself. Either way, I have this image in my mind of Alaric holding Hope back from killing him in the middle of the field at the school and someone (Namely Alaric) mentioning that Hayley wouldn’t want Hope to become a murder and well, of course coming in and making her opinion known on the subject, maybe even killing Roman herself. The whole thing of watching your baby grow up almost overnight and is going to have her own kid that she is willing to protect
Struggling actress that gets to work with a child actress that has always been the center of attention.
Makeup artist and actress/model were they are dating but have to pretend not to be
two costars that are dating in real life but on their show, their characters hate one another so when they come home from work they are all sort of hot and bothered because wow those words your character said to mine left me wanting you.
Actress/Actor relationship where they hooked up and opps three months later the other is at their door crying because they are pregnant and what is the press going to say?
Reckless rich kids that have never been told no that secretly wish their parents bad attention to them so they start dating their parents rival (could be an actress/model/instagram famous person as well)
Honestly, just give me all the angsty human aus
or even make these not human and have them be their supernatural selves as well.
So Hope coming back to the school as Andrea Marshall and makes friends with Lizzie and Josie, starts dating Landon Kirby, asks for fight training with Alaric Saltzman. Just a big do over
Handon, Hizzie, Hosie plots set after the season one final are something I am living for in the moment! But also anything with the Mikaelson family in general really.

For Kisama: 8, 12, and 15 bc lmao. For Kew : 13, 7, and 12
Muse Development Questions
8. How do they like to unwind after a long day? (Kisama)
Unwinding isn’t one of Kisama’s strong suits. He’s gotten used to working long hours with few breaks, though tends to justify it by dicking around playing Tetris when he can. Going out into the field to supervise an investigation is a way he unwinds in itself, which is why he’s at his most aggressive and prone-to-screaming-at-people-over-nothing then. He’s fed-up and letting off steam to whoever is unfortunate enough to make a mistake.
That doesn’t really answer the question though. Kisama doesn’t like being in his craphole apartment, and can’t easily walk the streets without being incognito or needing bodyguards. (He’s developed a bad habit of sleeping in his office on an air mattress.) Still, if he has to go somewhere to relax, he likes going to karaoke bars. Singing relaxes him, whether there’s an audience or not.
12. What is their pain threshold like? Will a stubbed toe take them down, or does it take something much more drastic? (Both)
Between the two of them, Kisama has the upper hand. He’s had formal combat training and been in plenty of fights– since he prefers hand-to-hand combat, that always runs the risk of trading blows. So he has to be able to take a punch without bursting into tears, but that’s not to say he’s the most stoic guy ever. His pain tolerance still isn’t great, and he has a hard time not crying out, at the very least. He’s definitely the guy at the office who stubs his toe and swears loud enough for the whole floor to hear.
Kew is a lot worse. Being the better fighter actually plays to his detriment here– Because he’s so overpowered among devils, he’s almost never been wounded in a fight. Not seriously, at least. He’s basically known for killing his opponents before they have a chance to do anything. Some of Kew’s strategy involves powering through an attack in order to guarantee a hit (taking or catching a punch, for instance) but he’ll only do that if he knows for sure he can take the incoming attack, and has a moment to brace himself. Even a slight amount of pain, especially by surprise, will send Kew into panic-mode. If he stubbed his toe, he’d probably scream, then get scared someone would try to kill him while he was weak and hide somewhere.
15. If they had to sell their soul to save one person, who would it be and why? (Kisama)
Well that’s just rude. I mean… any innocent person, in theory. Not by choice, he’d literally have to do it, and boy would he be pissed about it. That’s probably not the spirit of the question though– If Kisama could pick someone to save, it’d probably be his secretary and second-in-command, Axa Pfertun.
13. Are they a binge watcher or do they prefer to stretch shows out? What kind of shows do they like? Are there any that they rewatch with any kind of frequency? (Kew)
Kew has no idea what a ‘show’ is, or what it would mean to ‘binge’ them. He’d probably have to have the concept explained to him a few times before he stopped yelling things out every time Dora the Explorer asked him a question. That said, I’m not sure if Kew’s really the couch-potato sort that would just watch TV all day– I think he has too much curious energy for that. Hed see something on TV and get inspired to do it/try it himself, and not want to keep sitting around.
I could also see Kew rewatching educational kids shows, so he could try to catch up on lots of human-world concepts (how to read a clock, basic science, basic manners) without needing to read anything. … Or, well, learning how to read instead.
7. Sweet or savory? (Kew)
He likes both! Although sweet is more new to him, which is why he gets so excited about things like hot chocolate and ice cream. Souls, to devils, all roughly taste like meat. (Especially souls of darkness, Kew’s favorite. Lighter souls have less of that dense, umami flavor.) There’s no soul Kew’s had that tastes like a minty milkshake, or cotton candy!

Rewatching Gigantitan
This is the funniest episode in the show I’m already laughing
I JUST WANT TO SAY FIRST OF ALL THAT I LOVE THE GIRL SQUAD SO MUCH AND THEY’RE MY FAVES AND I’M SO GLAD THEY GET THEIR TIME TO SHINE IN THIS EPISODE okay moving on (Mylène sits so adorably omg)
...I’m not gonna lie, out of context it looks like Marinette and Alya are trying to tell everyone that they’re girlfriends
THEY’RE SO ADORABLE WHEN THEY LAUGH and I can’t get over the fact that they all just Know that Marinette likes Adrien, like, do they know she’s Ladybug too? Do they just not say anything? Who knows? And they all just agree that the boys are dumb and haven’t noticed anything like what kind of Girl Solidarity, I’m so proud
Okay they all sit adorably actually? From left to right top row then bottom row: Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Hufflepuff
I bet she got this big Trocadero map image from Google Earth
They’re still so adorable but this is so funny because like... Mylène literally actually has a boyfriend, she knows what she’s talking about so she actually has Good Advice
I can’t get over how giant Rose’s eyes are even when she’s squinting
Here are all the adorable drawings for you to look at, you’re welcome but I’m crying because Alix doesn’t get one
Look at this statue
They’re so ride or die for Marinette at this point, like, purposely get an innocent man into trouble with the police? Sure why not
Okay but if they had been expecting their plan to work, did they not think Roger would realize the fake signpost is on a trolley and not actually an actual signpost in the ground? Eh whatever
JULEKA PATTING ROSE ON THE HEAD IS SO CUTE I’M STILL NOT OVER IT
This screencap is still so funny to me akdjfhskjdhksjg, also THANK YOU someone finally pointed out how creepy it is that Mari knows Adrien’s entire schedule
Theo’s back and as usual, he runs every job in Paris
Well played, Zag, very well played...
Fake Adrien’s reaction to fake Marinette’s gibberish is priceless
And you know who else is priceless??? ALIX FREAKING KUBDEL
The fake date is so funny not just because of how cheesy it is, but also none of them wonder if maybe Adrien will be idk CONCERNED that his bodyguard is nowhere to be found?? But nah he won’t care he’ll go off gallivanting around with Marinette
The falling flower petals represent my tears of laughter when watching this scene
There’s the pink bubbly background too I’m DYING (btw the fake date is all in widescreen)
Oh my goodness Rose has actual literal tears in her eyes if you look carefully, I love her
MARINETTE SDKJFHDKJGHKDJHF
I love that Alix acts all outwardly supportive etc but then if you look at her she’s sitting in the corner cringing like “I’M TOO ARO FOR THIS” like can everyone else step up their Relatableness game because flower petal skater child is winning
YESSSSS GO GIRL SQUAD GO
Why does Adrien just model in his normal clothes? What is Gabe trying to advertize here? I mean I know Wayhem wears those clothes too but he’s Wayhem, that’s different
I’m so glad to see this guy is back
Juleka’s codename is Rose... here’s Juleka, surrounded by roses... hmm... remember what happens later in the Zombizou episode... I’m just saying... what I’m saying is she’s gay and Julerose is canon
Theo’s reaction to being roped into this plan though
I love that Juleka feels the need to randomly clear her throat before she starts pushing the cart, that’s somehow a mood
Bless her, she’s trying so hard
Mylène is frickin shredded, we totally missed that somehow
Alix just chills on the bridge the entire episode half forgotten, occasionally providing snarky commentary, I cannot express in words how much I adore her
It’s nice that Roger recognizes his daughter’s classmates - and it’s so nice that he recognizes Juleka, of all people! She’s come so far since the Reflekta episode :’) (of course Roger immediately starts complaining about pigeons...)
Juleka overcoming her social anxiety to yell about illegally parked cars!!! YES!!! YOU GO GIRL I’M SO PROUD!!!
“Hahaha don’t mind me just casually hugging this signpost...”
He’s still at it with the acrobatics
I can’t get over August crying an actual waterfall of tears askfhskjdfhksjd it’s like Syren-levels
I wonder what the Gorilla was doing on his phone... do you think he plays Pokemon Go?
Idek what to caption this just look at all three of them and Rose chasing after in the background
Marinette you good child, you’re such a hero even without the mask ily
This is seriously so great, I need more Secret Mission episodes like this
Hndfngjdfjdhn they’re not even trying to make it look casual now
Adrien’s car doesn’t even have a numberplate
DUDE WHY WOULD YOU AKUMATIZE THE GUY YOU PAY TO PROTECT YOUR SON WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU
Actually the Gorilla is now winning the Relatableness game because I, too, immediately become happy and lose all negative emotions whenever I see Adrien Agreste
THIS IS SO HILARIOUS?? And then instead of just de-akumatizing the baby who has no teeth and can barely speak, like any normal evil supervillain would, Hawky just rolls with it and doesn’t even think about how spectacularly this is going to backfire
Wow I love Honey I Blew Up The Kid
You can even see some of the Girl Squad
Awwww Juleka has her arm around Rose
CMON ALYA NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO DIE
August’s lil (well, big) baby bracelet has his name on it
I feel so bad for the Gorilla because he’s having such an unbelievably bad day in so many ways
I love how season 2 has so many more real Paris places etc, it’s a cool detail
Girl Squad group hugs are so good
SDNNFJFGNJDNJH I LOVE THEM
They’re so good and brave though, literally facing akuma villains to go find Marinette
The strings don’t even go in front of him
This whole scene where they’re trying to distract the baby is so good omg, I guess Adrien didn’t inherit the Bad Parenting Skills from his dad. And it’s nice that the owner of the car left their windows wide open for Chat to climb through
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
HE JUST KNOCKS OVER THE EIFFEL TOWER, I SWEAR THIS POOR TOWER IS WRECKED SO OFTEN IN AKUMA ATTACKS PARISIANS MUST BE USED TO SEEING IT LYING ON THE GROUND IN RUINS
Alix is still just chilling on the bridge, staying out of all the nonsense, like she can probably hear all the doom and destruction going on through the bluetooth and she doesn’t even care
No!!! Let Adrien eat!!!
See look at this thing. It’s like a giraffe that tripped over. How many people were on there do you think? How many got crushed underneath? It’s like the Mime except it actually hit the ground this time
THERE THEY ARE AGAIN!!! Using the fake signpost to save the day!!! And apparently they stole Theo’s rickshaw too, chaotic good
It looks like she was about to dab but got surprised by something
Chat’s smile in the Ladybug-o-vision is adorable
Amazing
Thighs of STEEL
They look like a married couple with their child, I love it
More Girl Squad group hugs!!! Look at those height differences
Where was she carrying that?
These are the best characters in the show and you can’t change my mind
And the best of all is tiny Alix who just stands there deadpan chucking flower petals at them, what an ICON
THIS IS THE BEST END CARD oh wow my cheeks are hurting from smiling so much, Zag stop making hilarious episodes about my favourite characters you’ll give me a heart attack
#GIRL SQUAD!!!#miraculous ladybug#random stuff#rewatching ml#next up: dark owl#oh jeez oh damn oh fffff-#*prepares for multiple heart attacks*

kdramas that everyone should watch
Playful Kiss
:) this drama has a special place in my heart
i found playful kiss because i had just finished the anime adaptation(which is really good, pls check it out its called itazura na kiss)
basically female lead is dumb as rocks but she has a crush on cold male lead who is really hot and extremely smart
her house collapses in an earthquake and male leads family are friends with her dad, so they move into male leads house aaaaand you can assume what happens
very sweet and lighthearted although sometimes you wish female lead would give up on male lead cause he’s super rude and shes THAT stubborn
Boys Over Flowers
idk why you wouldnt know about this one
kinda overrated but really good overall
girl starts going to rich kid school and cold male rich lead falls in love with her
this drama is why i love Lee Min Ho
some parts might make you angry cause male lead can be infuriatingly selfish
took me forever to finish
Heartstrings
my girl park shin hye is in this and shes cute as hell
male lead is cold and hot (i love cold guys)
basically playful kiss except girl isnt dumb and theres music
solid OST
Pretty Man
this drama invented melodrama lol
like its SUCH a soap opera sometimes
but also its cute
it took me a couple tries to get through it
IU is in it and shes basically the heart of this show
male lead is unbelievably hot as the title insinuates
IU loves male lead but he could really care less
then his mom dies and shit hits the fan quick
basically he has to seduce women and build a business to get this passcode thing his mom left behind
spoilers
male lead is actually in love with IU’s character Bo Tong the whole show but it takes him forever to realize it
i love IU
Shining Inheritance
SUCH AN UNDERRATED DRAMA
basically the same idea as Boys Over Flowers but they’re graduated
kind of melodramatic
male lead is typical cold guy (lol)
female lead becomes poor after her dad ‘dies’ and then her autistic brother goes missing and this poor girl omg i feel for her she goes through SO MUCH
somewhere in the drama she becomes an heir to another families fortune and male lead is PISSED (as is the rest of his family)
side characters are really annoying ngl
i watched this drama really fast
its so good
The Heirs
this drama is BASICALLY Shining Inheritance and Boys Over Flowers combined
but minus all the stupid parts and drawn out storylines
park shin hye AND lee min ho are in it
they’re the leads
i lowkey got second male lead syndrome but got over it cause <3 <3 <3 Lee Min Ho
male lead isnt as cold as the previous male leads mentioned but he isnt super nice either
Strong Woman Bo Dong Soon
if i could rewatch this drama a hundred times i would
if this show doesnt make you melt and giggle like a child you arent human
male lead is unbelievably cute
and female lead is so so so cute too
the love triangle is actually tolerable unlike the dramas previously listed
i love the male lead in this one tho so much
bo dong soon (our female lead) is super strong and male lead is a CEO so he hires bo dong to be his bodyguard
EVEN THOUGH HE HAS HIRED HER AS A BODYGUARD HE STILL TRIES TO PROTECT HER DESPITE HER BEING UNBELIEVABLY STRONG
its also SO FUNNY ive never laughed so hard watching a drama
the chemistry between the leads are tangible i swear to god i cant
mamamoo sings a song for the ost ;)
Cinderella and The Four Knights
the second drama to actually make me cry
overall a really cute show
i dont understand the ads for this show tho cause dramafever advertised it as like a sequel to Boys Over Flowers but ITS NOTHING like Boys Over Flowers
she lives with her stepmom and stepsister who suck
and then her dad kicks her out after a wicked plot twist
so this ceo guy is like “move in with my grandsons they are awful people you can help them but dont date them”
so you KNOW from the get-go she’s gonna have to date one of them!
so theres three male leads
one cold rebellious guy (ha)
the rich spoiled brat
and the nice one whose a singer
also theres the butler dude but he isnt really romantically linked to female lead, hes just a chill dude who has his own storyline (WHICH MAKES YOU WANNA SCREAM)
cannot stand the side romance in this between two characters i wont name
second female lead gets on my nerves
however, the main romance, i eat that shit up
it takes a while for them to get together but totally worth and hella cute
i adore this ost???? so much????
on the lowest of keys i had second male lead syndrome
Scarlet Heart: Ryeo
this drama destroyed my will to live
its SO SAD
i’d explain the plot but its complicated and very convoluted
i dont really like historical dramas but i LOVED this one
also
IU is in it :)
OST is the greatest ever
WE NEED A SEASON 2
spoiler: ending will make you wanna die
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
idk why this did bad in Korea
but im happy its gained a lot of popularity recently
its so so so cute
the relationship is so loving
both leads have such GOOD chemistry together
the plot seems simple: she’s a weightlifter and he swims and they were childhood friends uh kind of
then they hit you with that heavy shit
you just have to watch
#kdramas#playful kiss#scarlet heart:ryeo#cinderella and the four knights#weightlifting fairy kim bok joo#strong woman bo dong soon#pretty man#the heirs#boys over flowers#heartstrings#kdrama#korean drama#2017

Wynonna Earp 3x02 "When You Call My Name" Review
Hello, a crestfallen Earper here *waves sadly*. Not really sure how to start — I’ve rewritten this review three times — so here goes my Wynonna Earp episode 3x02 “When You Call My Name” review, accompanied by the five stages of grief.
“Geez, We’re having a day” - Wynonna Earp
We pick up right where we left off at the end of the Season 3 premiere last week, with Wynonna and Waverly in a bad car accident that was apparently a hunting tactic of a gnarly people eating, voice stealing demon that lives in a cabin in the woods (cliche much, demon?). Wynonna awakes literally halfway down the side of a cliff...how she got there still puzzles me, but that is the least concern I had watching this episode.
She is still in her fancy “frock” (thanks for the colorful word, Mama Earp) from her run in with the vampires last episode. She is banged up and literally freezing, realizing her body is going into shock only after she recognizes she’s having a full on conversation with her mom on the side of a cliff, when she knows her mom is actually a patient in a nearby mental institution.
It was actually such a great way to get to know “Mama” Earp, through Wynonna’s mind's eye, making quite the juxtaposition from the slightly raving Mama we met in the season premiere.
Illusion!Mama Earp gives Wynonna a pep talk to climb to safety, but in doing so she has to leave Peacemaker down on the side of the cliff...which poses problems later. And after she's back on solid ground she grabs her coat and a swig of whiskey from the crashed truck and is off to save her sister, demons be danged!
“Secrets suck, I hate them!” - Jeremy Chetri
Over at Black Badge, the day just keeps getting worse. Nicole, of course, wasn’t convinced by the demon impersonating a chill Waverly. Jeremy confirms what killed all the people at the bar from the previous episode — it was a demon that can apparently apparate from one victim to another so quickly it made the mass murder seem like it happened at once. And they think he’s been doing it as a blood sacrifice to Bulshar for years and years, how reassuring! *insert nervous laughter*
The team knows they need to stop this demon fast, but first they gotta get the team together. Jeremy and Dolls obviously have a few secrets going on between them but Dolls keeps giving Jeremy the “don’t you dare” look. Upon my rewatch of this episode, I realized I should’ve felt more primed for the inevitable setup of what happens to Dolls in the last five minutes, I was but a sweet summer child when I was watching live and did not look for the blatant clues laid out before me.
“Craft night is Thursdays.” - Doc Holliday
Dolls goes to collect Doc so the team can assemble. Doc is downright FROSTY to Dolls and is missing that trademark sarcasm and humor that makes him so delightful. He is sad about Baby Alice, but more so his problem is that he died back in that alternate timeline in Season 2 when Dolls shot him. And he went to hell.
For a man that’s lived 150 years, most of those with his “curse” of immortality, that’s gotta be a very new and scary feeling, knowing you can die and that you went to hell. He seems to think he can’t be redeemed from that fate, and I hope he realizes that’s not true. “You and I are destined for the dark,” he tells Dolls, anger and anguish flashing in his wild eyes.
Dolls does not accept this gloomy fate, stating, “We’re not the same, I don’t need a threat of damnation to fight for the right side.” Ouch, what a burn. I hope Doc remembers Dolls’ words for the rest of his life. Doc has a chance to really step up his role in the team after this episode, I hope he rises out of his depression spiral and to the occasion of being a better team player.
Doc catches Jeremy looking for something in the basement of the bar and Jeremy alludes to Doc that there is definitely a problem with Dolls’ drugs...But before Doc can get too heated Nicole texts hims stating she’s found the Earp truck, prompting Doc to tell Jeremy, “Get Dolls, we’re gonna need him. Don’t tell him I said that.”
I am SOOO sad that we won’t have the mutual grumpy bro frenemies relationship of Doc and Dolls after this episode. It adds so much life and one liners to this wild show.
“I swear on my favorite boy band” - Wynonna Earp
Poor Waverly is still strung up like a slain rabbit in the demons cabin, with no voice to cry for help, silently hoping Wynonna and the team come for her. The demon booby trapped his cabin, as a poor lost hunter finds out the hard way; the demon lures the hunter to his death by doorway garrote, crying for help with Waverly's stolen voice. As only Wynonna could state, “This is some kinda crazy Little Mermaid sh*t” when she arrives at the cabin to save her kid sis. Of course, being sisters makes the whole talking without talking thing pretty easy and Wynonna and Waverly even have a heart to heart about Mama without Waverly using words.
I’d also like to point out the cabin demon saying “The trees are changing, I’m getting lost in my own woods, the animals are leaving,” given that the animals didn’t leave with his demonic presence but are now that Bulshar’s presence is there….CONCERNS me. I have a feeling this seemingly random line is gonna come back to haunt the team and the town pretty soon as was proof of the rock n roll tour bus vampires last episode, Purgatory is about to get a whole lot weirder.
Of course Wynonna is wily and cunning, and bests the demon at his own game by running away and using a tape recorder to make him think she fell in his pit trap, only to kick him in herself (but when she left him he was “mostly” dead since she didn’t use peacemaker to dispatch him, I hope she went back and finished the job) . She is caught in one of his tree snares and strung up to be cut down by a still grumpy Doc and the ever reliable officer Haught.
Wynonna still checking out Doc’s butt while hanging upside down is just another iconic Wynonna moment from this episode. If only they all went back to Black Badge and had drinks with Dolls and Jeremy and it was the end of another crazy demons in town episode….but alas, this is where the episode takes a sudden “wtf” turn and I — and most of us live watchers — were left reeling for hours afterwards.
As Doc and Nicole help Wynonna down we cut to someone watching in the woods. It’s the dreaded demon Bulshar himself and his “bodyguard” demon, looking on as the team runs to free Waverly. Insert Han Solo saying, “I’ve got a bad feeling about this.”
“Wynonna is gonna need you more than ever” - Deputy Marshall Xavier Dolls
So here we are, friends, the reason I have dragged my feet on this review the last few days. The one thing about these last few scenes is we get to see the beautiful snowy Alberta terrain in all its natural rugged beauty.
Wynonna needs to retrieve Peacemaker, so they are back at the cliff, and Nicole is rapelling down via rope to get grab the weapon (her being the only skilled rope climber out of the current group). Of course Dolls shows up to assist and assess; Nicole is literally tethered to the rope at the mercy of Wynonna and Doc, while Dolls helps Waverly to his car when lo and behold the “apparating” demon appears!
It’s Bulshar’s bodyguard demon from earlier! And he is Nightcrawler-from-X-Men fast. He severs Nicole’s rope; Wynonna saves her by grabbing the rope and holding on for dear life; Doc goes into gunslinger mode; but the demon is too fast for him and he renders Doc unconscious in less than 20 seconds. Dolls sees the mayhem, shoves Waverly in the truck, drinks his “dragon drugs” and goes up against the demon.
As the demon is trying to take out Wynonna he gleefully states “You cannot kill me with mortal weapons” as Dolls shoots at him. Waverly answers Jeremy’s emergency comcall informing her that the drugs he’s been making for Dolls have made him “unstable.” Meanwhile, Nicole begs Wynonna to let go and save herself but she refuses, and Waverly adds just enough strength to pull Nicole to safety.
The demon tells them, “Someone must die here today, the earth lusts for blood.” (YIKE!) Doc comes to and is up on his feet they all have that look like “there’s a good chance we’re all gonna die” but Dolls grabs onto the bodyguard demon and doesn’t let go, his eyes turning yellow and his strength increasing. All of a sudden, flames are shooting out of his mouth, engulfing himself and the demon. The demon is incinerated by Dolls’ dragon flame, and Dolls is left lifeless on the ground.
“No more pain. No more drugs. No more demons.” - Wynonna Earp
Wynonna and the team rush to Dolls’ side, checking his pulse, his breath, for any sign that he’s alive. Even Doc is shaken to his very core when Dolls doesn’t “wake up.” Wynonna and Waverly begin to cry and Wynonna, like many of us, is in disbelief.
“He saved us. He saved me. How is this okay? How is he lying here?” Wynonna, bb, I was asking my TV the same questions. She keeps saying, “Open your eyes,” it’s heart wrenching and honestly confusing because it doesn’t feel like a final death in the moment? I was thinking it was gonna be like Supernatural or The Vampire Diaries where it’s a temporary death that they have to “fix.”
It wasn’t until afterwards when I got online and saw the article from Emily Andras (the showrunner) and once I learned Shamier Anderson was moving onto Hollywood projects that I realized it was final. I was left feeling kinda numb. Like, that’s all we get?
Yes, he did go out a hero saving his friends; yes, he did kill the demon, but in the grand scheme of “leading man exiting series” it didn’t feel grand enough? It was too short. What about tying up loose ends? How did he become a hybrid lizard man? What about his and Wynonna’s will they won’t they relationship? How did he join Black Badge?
I have so many unanswered questions about his character! It just doesn’t feel complete.
I love this show a lot. It’s fun! Daring! It thinks outside the box! BUT I have noticed sometimes plot threads are dropped or aren’t coherent. (Like the Season 2 finale scene between Nicole and Dolls, what even was that for? Will we ever know?!?!) And I for one HATE plot holes or misdirection in TV shows, I feel like they do it for shock or to keep you guessing…but if there isn’t any payoff or it’s done haphazardly it’s not worth my time.
The more I cover TV shows for critical analysis or review platforms like Truth Bee Told, the more annoyed I get with the way some things are written/executed. This wasn’t a terrible job by far. But why couldn’t the whole episode be dedicated to Dolls' story? Having a good moment with each character, a little backstory fleshing out etc. Instead, they give him the last five minutes of the episode to go out in a “blaze of glory” and leave Wynonna wailing in the snow.
I will hold out judging more until I see next week’s episode! Maybe they do some post mortem work on Dolls story that will satisfy me...but I’m actually kinda afraid that’s not going to happen. But until next week I will stop my rambling about it.
Final thoughts
Besides the ending we got some fabulous witty one liners, great physical acting (Melanie gave that charades scene her all and it was amazing!)
I loved learning more about Mama Earp (her name is Michelle, by the way).
We have some things that will probably come back up, like the forest literally changing.
Bulshar is shaping up to be the worst villain Wynonna has had, but he needs to talk soon, I grow tired of these “looks on menacingly” once an episode scenes. I need him to be fleshed out like Bobo (who is still by far my fave baddie to date).
I give this episode 3 ½ out of 5 bees because I’m feeling a little petty but also because I feel this episode wasted too much time setting up what should’ve been the focal point of the episode the sacrifice and death of Dolls. Until next time, Earpers!
Wynonna Earp airs Fridays at 9/8c on Syfy.
Gina’s episode rating: 🐝🐝🐝.5

gundam ibo rewatch for the orgamika, shinoyama, mcgae
at first i was gonna make an orgamika manifesto (a why ship orgamika?, type of thing) so i rewatched ibo, but then it devolved to just me flailing about and compiling all the orgamika per episode, then the tracing of how/when did mika/orga’s goals changed, then all the shinoyama, then mcgae, then galigali...
but i’m posting anyway, so i don’t forget to finish it eventually lol
this is part one, bec i’m only up to s1e19 as of now:
s1e1 - 1st scene is when mika, after killing someone, presumably for money based on orga's orders, asks what he needs to do next // next scene is mika waking orga up w/a smile, SMILING MIKAAAA // shino tries to discuss girls w/Mika, only to be shut down. also, they explicitly say that mika's not interested in girls // mika pinches eugene's ears off when eugene fights w/orga // orga talks w/ossan & tells him that he can't be seen as uncool, while ossan correctly guesses/adds "by mikazuki...?" - it's correct because orga smiles lol // during the fight, mika reacts when orga finally takes command // mika's dynamic entry has been timed / coordinated by orga // first mention of the "we'll go to somewhere not here, to someplace where we truly belong"
s1e2 mika learns that piloting barbatos can fry his brain, and he says it's ok bec he doesn't use it anyway // during their initial strategy meeting as to how to betray CGS, orga says that he forgot to call mika (is he assuming mika's already tailing him?!), tho he tells them that if mika is against his plan, then they won't push through. shino & eugene are confused, tho orga says that mika won't go against it anyway, because if orga shows his serious, mika will surely respond to him // when mika sees orga beaten up, he LAUGHS and calls orga an "iro otoko" pffft // mika also smiles when he quotes orga re: living instead of dwelling over comrades' deaths // when orga tells mika that there's a job he'd like him to do, mika agrees before orga's finished, taking the gun // when orga teases him that he doesn't even get the specs of the request, mika says he'll listen, but he'll do whatever it is anyway, if orga's already decided on it & orga thanks him for that //
s1e3 pretty domestic scene of orga & mika hanging out in the engine room, while mika eats his favorite; he offers one to orga, tho orga declines --- and they're apparently chilling just before they plan on killing off the CGS higher ups // mika acts as the bodyguard during their coup // when crank appears, orga simply calls out to mika and asks if he "can do it" while mika answers "sure", and everyone's confused, so orga clarifies that he asked mika to kill crank // mika tires of the discussion w/crank and just tells him that orga told him to kill him // mika smiles again when he says that 'tekkadan' (a name that orga decided for their new group w/o any input from others whatsoever, to eugene's annoyance) is a nice name
s1e4 mika shows disinterest in the talk about the future
s1e5 when atra asks them in public to be hired as the cook, mika doesn't react - orga has to prompt him (so i guess orga, like everyone, KNOWS that atra likes mika, while mika's more or less oblivious // also as a sidebit, yamagi asks shino if he likes girls (not if he likes girls *only*, mind) and shino says sure lol! //
s1e6 orga watching over mika & takaki & co learn how to write // and mika ofc reacting to orga's presence // orga & biscuit's convo about orga being so risky - to which orga replies that he feels that mika's eyes are always watching him & asking him as to what to do next & what kind of WAKUWAKU thing he's gonna do // and that he always wants to be the best and coolest in front of mika (cue biscuit's unimpressed look lol) // and we learn that mika was looking for orga // and then mika says that he prioritizes reading/writing so he can help w/mobile suit maintenance AND THEN reading books about farming // cute banter about being tired // orga says that while earth is far, they'll keep on moving forward AND THAT THEY'VE FOUND THEIR PLACE // mika says that orga's decided on it already // orga says that they'll make mika's dream come true //
s1e7 mika being so calculating lol // mika's watching orga as to how he'd react to naze & orga's watching mika back before he decides to do the crazy thing // when naze generously offers to take on tekkadan under his wing and have them work (separately), mika says that he doesn't want everyone to be separated - it's all orga needs to turn down the very reasonable offer // (also omg that shinoyama moment ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
s1e8 mika was... down? after not winning against lafter, but he does cheer up once he hears about orga's raid being successful, so // and mika does consider himself not doing a job well done, he's mopey on top of barbatos even when orga praises him // when orga tries to dissuade him from that thinking, mika still pushes on with the "i need to do better", orga relents and says that "he needs to be better too" // mika reveals that the reason he tries so hard is because he doesn't want orga to have a reason to ditch him - though orga says that there's no such thing as ditching when it comes to family (orga does get embarassed as he says this tho lol)
s1e9 during kudelia's moment of (in)decision re: her half-metal/mars independence movement, mika tells her that she HAS to decide, because her entire future will depend on her decision. this is a parallel to his decision to follow whatever orga decides on (he even says that this is a moment like the time he first killed someone - implied to be that one scene they keep on flashing back on). something noteworthy here is that mika says that it's a decision that must come from the person itself (which should shoot down any 'orga led mika to being his puppet' theories) // orga just looks on worriedly at orga getting carried away at the treats and at drinking // and then mika ends up just rubbing orga's back after he (presumably) throws up // and the way mika jolts after merribit intrudes lol and his reaction as merribit goes away // also, the translation is kinder - orga literally calls the handkerchief STINKING (not just smelling) like a woman // mika just stares at the drunk orga and says that it's the first time he's seen orga like this // but then mika SMILES when orga babbles that the reason he's so HAPPY is because he finally made a family for tekkadan // mika taking care of the drunk orga again - he's so worried about orga catching a cold, he even drapes his jacket on him; such a cute "taku" there too! // when mika and biscuit talk, mika asks if it's okay that he DIDN'T OPPOSE with the decision (that he didn't make, and not up to him to make) without asking orga // though the 99% of the time they were talking mika was looking at the sleeping orga and not biscuit, how rude // "thanks to orga's guts, we can continue to dream" // (also yamagi sulking after shino's night out lol and yamagi sulking even more when shino appears and is all sexed up) // mika, i caught that stare at orga's clothes // and mika being happy at sharing a kanji with orga;;;; - and thanks naze, for unsubtly pointing out that the kanji (that mika likes!) mika and orga's names share means "oneself" // naze foreshadows that orga should not lose this "self" in his character (so if he loses it, it's still w/mika, and vice-versa...) // after the ceremony, mika calls orga cool lol and orga apologizes for worrying mika;;;; and mika smiles again at orga
s1e10 ossan teases mika about being sad as he's left behind, but mika just admits it lol // and the conversation between shino/eugene/orga... where orga says that he doesn't care for women (women are just fucking betsu ni for him lol), then as they squabble, orga says that he's fine w/the family he has with tekkadan
s1e11 not a lot of orgamika, as the episode focused mostly on akihiro's plot & the gaelio/mcgillis in the middle
s1e12 shino being a bro to akihiro (and mika being a badass by saying outright that he'll try to go easy on his opponent, but he'd kill them if he's in trouble)
s1e13 mika continuing not to mince words to shino // mika looking so unimpressed w/the funeral rites & he doesn't cry when everyone's crying // shino finding yamagi to thank him about the funeral flowers & then yamagi refusing shino's request to make the fireworks again when he dies (though he said it in such a tsundere way tho, just admit that you hate the idea of shino dying already) // also, mika just kisses kudelia after he says that she looks cute after trying to comfort him (hc that he does it so cleanly because he's practiced in doing that lol)
s1e14 mika just goes on as normal after that lol, poor kudelia's so confused // kudelia's side-eyeing mika, but mika's just staring ahead/at orga
s1e15 during the Dolt coup/kidnapping fiasco, orga first checks in on mika's condition instead of y'know, they're client, kudelia // mika being so overprotective of atra and biscuit (mostly atra bec she's the one who's tortured) // also, orga's dynamic entry doesn't surprise mika at all despite hte lack of planning, but biscuit's all surprised
s1e16 not much gay haha;;
s1e17 when they decide what to do re: escaping to the elevators, orga asks mika for the decision, which mika cycles back to "i'll do what you decide, but seeing them getting beaten isn't interesting" // when shino launches, yamagi gives him a video call (as opposed to orga previously just giving him a voice call) and tells him to take care, and shino replies/refers to the funeral flowers again and says that yamagi will not need to make those for him this time // also, when mika recognizes gaelio's voice, he just goes, "you're chocoman's..." lol // also, GALI GALI
s1e18 dat gaelio/ein moment - gaelio proving that he's BEST MAN //
s1e19 such pure gali gali omg // also SHINO trying to console eugene saying that if eugene fails, they'll just think it's good ol' stupid eugene and won't blame him for sending them to their deaths lol // also eugene character dev't!!! // tho shino just laughs at eugene's akogare for orga lol // also, gaelio reminiscing about the past & how carta fell in love at first sight for mcgillis // "the place they truly belong?" "what kind is that?" // amazing + plenty of food + beds, but orga tells him that they won't know what it is untilt hey see it // if i follow you, orga, i'll see lots of things i never have //
#athina's ramblings#like a lot of ramblings what#gundam ibo#gundam ibo spoilers#orgamika#shinoyama#mcgae#orga itsuka#mikazuki augus#just a reminder that mika's stated to not be interested in girls in EPISODE 1#and that he uses wakuwaku to describe the things orga commands him to do#also galigali is the purest everyone go home#oh and mika & orga share oneself kanji in their names bruh#gundam: tekketsu no orphans#gundam: iron-blooded orphans#this series has so many fucking tags what

1, 3, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 19, 24, 25, 28, 30, 34, 38.
1: What is your #1 favorite anime?
Natsume Yuujinchou…. there used to be a time when i was like “oh i can’t pick a fav” that time has passed…. now it’s 100% Natsume yuujinchou.
3: Which anime made you laugh the hardest?
Hm…. probably Osomatsu-san… it’s a show i didn’t expect to like at all but it was just so funny and i think i probably laughed the hardest during it… but i don’t watch a lot of comedy anime in general.
7: Have you ever watched an entire anime in one sitting?
Yep, one time i got trigun for like 5 bucks a disk and i meant to just watch an episode before bed… ended up watching the whole damn thing…. i was very tired the next day…. also when i rewatch natsume yuujinchou if i allow myself i will marathon it since it’s like “oh the next episode is so good… ok one more episode”
8: Who is your favorite anime character?
Natsume Takashi, I just adore him as a character and i love seeing how he’s grown and i identify so much with him (not the seeing spirits things obviously but damn near everything else)… and i just want him to be happy… like… just gotta protect the precious baby.
10: Which [3] animes would you most recommend?
Hm…. i’m not big on recommending titles without know what typs of things people already like but the three shows i most often recommend are
a) Toradora - a really sweet and heartfelt romcom that’ll make you laugh as much as it makes you cry. I also love how it plays on expectations and holdign poeple on pedestals
b) Princess Tutu - The title may not be the best but if yo ucan get the first couple of episodes where everything is solved by dancing then you get an intense story that deals with so many themes so well i just can’t even begin to describe how much i love every moment of this show…. when i reccomend this one i ask people to at least watch till episode 13 since even though thats a lot to ask the story gets so much deeper as you get further in
c) Natsume yuujinchou - I actually don’t recommend this one much because it (on the surface) is an incredibly chill show about a boy who can see spirits and his cat bodyguard…. but once you get further in you get so attached to all these characters and it’s probably got the most blood of any other Shoujo anime i have watched and it gets scary and heartfelt and sweet and sad and sometimes people just want action and i get that but i love that there are so many chill episodes to offset ones that are a bit darker… but yeah i get chill shows aren’t for everyone so i don’t recommend it much but i WANT to recommend it to everyone
12: What is your favorite romance anime?
Toradora or Lovely complex. I already rambled about toradora so i’ll just say i love that Lovely complex deals with the pain of having a one sided crush… it deals with how feelings can change… it deals with expectations based on appearance or attitude… but man that Bear curry scene gets me EVERY time.
13: What is your favorite comedy anime?
Yeah gunna have to go with Osomatsu-san again cause it just made me laugh so hard… and i don’t watch too many comedy shows (cause unfortunately not all comedy is universal)
19: What is your favorite slice of life anime?
Natsume yuujinchou, i know it’s not completely slice of life but it’s the closest genre i can match it to. Other ones i like are Clannad, Blue Spring Ride and Kids on the Slope… oh also Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju… such a good show and litterally a large slice of someones life.
24: Name [1] anime you wish everyone would watch
Natsume Yuujinchou… like… it’s got 5 seasons so far (4 seasons of 13 episodes 1 of 11) and season six will air in a few months… and it’s just so good and the plot is getting so deep and you’re seeing characters real motives and I could litterally gush for HOURS (i know this cause i have with friends) about how good this show is and i would love if more watched it.
25: What is an anime you regret watching?
School Days… anyone who has seen it knows why… and for years i wouldn’t listen to the recommendations from the friend who told me i should watch this garbage.
Also Amnesia… just because wow that show made me so incredibly mad (especially with the last two guys stories) because i just think it’s really irresponsible to romanticize things like Litteral drugging and kidnapping… like maybe had the character had to pay a price it wouldn’t bug me as much as it does but NO… it’s shown as romantic and just…. NOPE…. nope nope nope.
28: Do you watch a new anime because you think it will be good, or because its popular?
True Story - I give EVERY show EVERY season a try (assuming it’s on a legal streaming service like Crunchyroll, Daisuki or Funimation) so for most shows i just continue to watch cause i like them.
For older shows if they are hugely popular i’ll probably avoid them till the hype dies down (attack on titan comes to mind - I liked it but i didn’t think i would while it was airing so i avoided it) but most of the time i don’t pay attention to whats popular cause i like my chill slice of life/urban fantasy shows… and they don’t tend to get that popular
30: How many anime episodes is ‘ideal’ for you?
As many as it needs… nothing worse then a show being rushed to fit into a single cour but also nothing worse then shows that have hundreds of epoisodes but most are filler… so yeah i like the show to have mostly plot and as little filler as possible… how ever many episodes that takes.
34: Have you ever watched an anime only because you liked a specific character?
*thinks* i don’t think i have… I’ve watched shows (or at least given them a chance when i otherwise may have ditched) because of certain voice actors (Hiroshi kamiya comes to mine) but never for a specific character.
38: Name a popular anime you hate
Enter popular Shonen title here…. like i just don’t like shonen (cause they are too long with too much filler and constant fights or tournaments are boring as hell to me) it’s not all bad but for the most part… yeah the big ones either put me to sleep (like i cannot watch one piece without taking a nap) or bore me to tears. not to mention a lot of time there an issue of power creep… i mean people are getting new skills, attacks, weapons and it just makes everything before it pointless. so yeah i’ll stick with my fluffy shoujo crap~ it makes me happy.
That was so much fun… i would joke and say take a shot every time i mention natsume but don’t do that you might get sick >

Updated K-drama list (3)
4 more shows DONE and there’s been some changes to the rankings...
FAVOURITES
This show also has lots of very good kissing scenes...and when he started to unbutton her shirt during one encounter, I was SCANDALISED (did I mention these shows are usually very PG!!)
Male lead: Like I said, somehow makes vanity and narcissism endearing. Also not afraid to get his shirt off and flash his 6-pack. Bonus.
Tear-Jerk factor: 0/5
9. Fight for my Way
Two life-long friends decide to go after their dreams
I found this during my Park Seo Joon binge and, even though I fast-forwarded large chunks of it (I wasn’t interested in the secondary couple at all), it still made my favourite list because I love the leads - both as separate characters and as a couple. This is one of the best friends-to-lovers stories I’ve seen, mainly because you truly buy that these 2 have known each other their entire lives (their bickering and teasing feels so natural). And then when they take the next step, they’re so affectionate and refreshingly open with their feelings.
Male lead: I love his contradictions. He’s goofy and childish…but can really turn on the sexy charm; he’s a badass MMA fighter…who loves when his girlfriend sticks up for him and protects him.
Tear-jerk factor: 0.5/5
10. Suspicious Partner
A young, hardworking lawyer has her life turned upside down when she is put on trial for murder.
This has been officially bumped up to my favourites list - partly because I’m now a massive Ji Chang Wook fan, and partly because I’ve rewatched scenes with better subtitiles and it made everything10x better. Its still overly long, but the serial killer plot had some nice twists and it was central to the story, so it didn’t feel extraneous like some of these types of plots do. I really enjoyed the central romance - the 2 characters sparked off each other well and I loved their evolution from sort-of enemies to lovers.
Male lead: Its Ji Chang Wook! He’s so good at playing serious guys who are secretly big dorks
Tear-jerk factor: 0.5/5
Notable mentions
These are shows which I completed and enjoyed but they didn’t set my world on fire. Usually because they were overly long, or the plot got in the way of the characters/love story.
But I’m glad I perservered, because it developed some real depth and some proper good angst towards the end.
The others…
