NedTober Day 10: Birthday

Today’s Ned’s cousin Mikey’s birthday, so Ned is here to celebrate with him! Today’s also my birthday, I’m 24 today :3

"Why does my Literature teacher hate me?" Ned said out loud in the cafeteria as he sat down next to Peter.

Peter pats his friend's back in comfort. "C'mon man, it can't be that bad."

Ned covers his face in his hands and groans. "I have to write a book report of my choosing in two weeks. My mom is going to kill me." Peter pulls out his phone to text Michelle.

"Michelle says she's heading here to the table with her friend who tutors for the class. Maybe you can ask her for help!" Peter says enthusiastically.

"Great! Who is it?" Peter is about to answer till he sees Michelle at the entrance with someone. "There she is!" Peter motions his head at the door.

Ned turns his head and sees you with your head down, reading a book. He uses his binder in front of him as a shield to hide his nerves.

"No, no, no. Not her." Ned muttered as his face paled. Peter quirks an eyebrow and turns to his distressed friend, sharing the binder that was blocking the view of the girls.

"Um, ok? May I ask why?" Peter asks as Ned perks his head up again to see you still reading from afar.

"She's in the same Literature class as me. If she thinks that I'm dumb, I can't handle the embarrassment."

"You like her!" Peter screamed out loud in excitement as Ned shushed his friend.

"You like her?" Peter whispers as he shares the binder with Ned.

"She makes me nervous, ok? Every time I'm near her, my knees feel like jelly. I don't even know how to talk to her!" Peter quips his head and sees Michelle and you walking towards the table.

"Now's your chance." Peter encouraged Ned as the two of you sat down on the benches.

"Hey, you two! Where did you guys come from?" Peter says as Ned slowly lowers his binder

"We just came from French," Michelle says, opening up a book she had in her hand.

You look up to introduce yourself until you saw Ned. "Hey! We have each other for Literature, right?" You ask him.

He nervously nods his head yes as you smile at him.

"How's your paper going? I'm revising mine with Michelle tomorrow."

Ned opens his mouth but the words don't come out.

Peter helps him out. "Actually, Ned is having trouble choosing a book for the paper. Any recommendations?" Peter asked.

You ponder for a bit till your eyes brighten, digging into your bag to find something.

"Here! This is my favorite novel. It has a lot of sword fighting, magic, romance..." You subtly glint your eyes on the last word as you stare at Ned.

He visibly gulps as he feels his mouth beginning to dry.

"N-nice, t-thanks," Ned says, reaching out for the book, but accidentally grazes your fingers that were holding it.

Both of you yank your hands away from each other, visibly blushing like two cartoons.

Peter is loving this interaction while Michelle rolls her eyes, standing up. "I'm grabbing something to eat, wanna join?" she asks you as you haven't broken eye contact with Ned.

"Yeah." You said, slowly getting up.

"Oh, and Ned... maybe we can revise our papers together this week. We can talk more about it once I get my food," you told Ned as you raced after Michelle, squealing as you were out of earshot of the boys.

Peter slowly turns to his friend as Ned forms the biggest smile on his face, sighing like he was hit by cupid's bow. Peter waves his hand in front of Ned's face as he was staring in the direction you left.

"Yep, you're totally wimped."

NedTober Day 17: Dog

Ned’s dog form is back, and he’s up against a mean dog he encountered as a human!

Ooh, what’s this?? Just some sketches for a project I’m doing called “NedTober” where I draw something related to Nightmare Ned for every day of October. I’ve already finished the first two but I’m not posting them until Oct. 1 and 2.

NedTober Day 30: Free choice

“I’ll get you for stealing my organs!!” I thought it would be funny to see Ned try to get revenge on one of his enemies from the game. Defaulted to the beaver creature because he looks goofy :3

There were plenty of goofy facial expressions to be seen in the Nightmare Ned TV series, so I drew one of my favorites from “Magic Bus!”
