The last time I visited The Naked City was, in fact December 31st for "The Last Swim of the Year" a fun and civic event for, nutty naked nudists. I go every year as we live virtually next door, and whilst we have spent holidays au Village Naturiste, we are there pretty well daily in the peak Summer months. I wouldn’t recommend the destination just for that one day as a holiday, no, the complex is open from Easter until Mid September, the peak months being July and August. Le Cap D’Agde boasts some 300 days of Sunshine a year, and can get very, very hot, so be aware of this as you will be obliged to bear all, certainly on the beach. Anything up to 50,000 visitors can be holidaying at any one time ( that’s an awful lot of flesh!! ) and it is well worth pointing out the following: The visitors include families, singles, gay folk, and it has to be said those who are seeking a little more, aiming to take advantage of the friendly and liberated atmosphere. Oddly, these various different factions seem to enjoy themselves side by side, although you should be advised to be pretty open minded. The City boasts a plethora of facilities, pools, banks, shops, restaurants and night clubs, in fact everything you would expect in a village, except that you are expected to... ( at least in the daytime ) get yer kit off! If you are prudish, don’t go, if you are looking for a fun and different experience The Naked City may well be for you. As, it’s often said it is a great place to hang out :)

‘When I arrived in my clothes, I felt all eyes on me’: Stefano Morelli’s best phone picture
The Italian photographer on an inspiring trip to a nudist resort
Skin in the game, 2014, shot on iPhone 4s.
Photograph: Stefano Morelli/Parallelozero
The young Italian man was playing on a basketball court with two friends when professional photographer Stefano Morelli approached him and asked to take his photograph. All four were entirely naked, aside from Giacomo, who had thrown on his orange shirt to play. It was 2014, and all were holidaying in Cap d’Agde in the south of France, within the resort’s naturist village, considered the largest in Europe.
“Inside there are supermarkets, shops, a post office, bars, discos and, of course, the beach,” says Morelli, also from Italy. The fenced perimeter is controlled 24/7 by private security; there is only one entrance and you must present identification and agree to the rules, the main one being: no clothes allowed. Given the resort’s strict policy against cameras, Morelli’s photograph was taken furtively, with his iPhone 4s. Aside from some colour optimisation, it is otherwise unedited. “I describe myself as a visual anthropologist, and I love to learn about alternative lifestyles,” Morelli says. “When I first arrived in my clothes, I felt all eyes on me; as soon as I was undressed, no one considered me any more.”
By the end of his visit, Morelli came to believe that living without clothes “flattens any socioeconomic difference. We become so accustomed to categorising and stereotyping, and presenting ourselves in a way that defines our status, but that is all taken away. You focus less on form and more on quality human interactions.”

The Bay of Pigs Beach in Cap d'Agde | Capdagdestudio
Do you know Bay Of Pigs Cap Papa? Located a few meters north of Heliopolis beach, La Baie des Cochons beach is known for being a playground for libertines. This portion of the Cap d'Agde naturist beach attracts naughty people looking for fun in the great outdoors. Exhibitionism on this portion of the beach is not normally allowed, but complaints and fines are rare. The sulphurous reputation of La Baie des Cochons keeps away families who prefer the rest of the naturist beach for their seaside vacations. To know more details contact us at 695283166.

Cap d'Agde is a seaside town in Agde, France set on the Mediterranean sea.
Prior to 1960 when Cap d'Agde started becoming a tourist destination for visitors in France, it was mainly a city that locals visited for a weekend getaway. With the development of the city as a tourist resort, more international visitors have started flocking to this beautiful port city. Below are 12 varied things visitors to Cap d'Agde can engage in whilst in the city.
1. Head outdoors to Plage de la Grande Conque
The Plage de la Grande Conque is one of the most beautiful sites in Cap d'Agde. The stunning site might seem like the least attractive of all attractions but it is truly beautiful. The Grande Conque is a volcanic beach with fine, black sand and fine pebbles. Surrounding the beach are cliffs which break off into two sets of stacks known as Les Deux Frères, otherwise known as two brothers. When the weather is in your favor, this is a perfect beach to frolic around in. Even if the weather is wild, you can stand atop the cliffs and watch the waves crash against the base of the cliffs with great force.
2. Casino Barriere
Casino Barriere is set in the leisure area of Cap d'Agde which is also home to several restaurants, bars, the family-friendly Luna Park and much more. The casino which opens at 10 a.m. every day allows free entry only for adults with an ID on them. The casino features almost about 150 slot machines and video pokers. There is also an English electronic roulette which is a great attraction in the casino. In the night from 8.30 p.m., games like the English Roulette, Ultimate, and Black Jack start operating. There is a bar in the casino which features live music and offers a serenading experience to your ears.
3. Aquarium Marin du Cap d'Agde
The aquarium in Cap d'Agde is completely natural and relies only on sea water for its water supply to sustain marine creatures. This aquarium has been renewed and serves a good attraction for everyone, especially young kids. The aquarium is built around three themes and the indoor attraction takes slightly over an hour. Presenting the Mediterranean fauna such as murres and seahorses, the aquarium is also home to tropical creatures such as turtles, corals, and sharks. Constructed very closely to the natural habitats of this marine life, the presentation of all these exhibits are of high quality.
4. Aquapark Cap d'Agde
Aquapark consists of a series of inflatable structures laid on the water surface. It offers the young and old a day of pure adventure, leaving you asking for more. Inside this park, you will be able to experience a wave pool, a bubble area for some fun and even a hot tub for some added relaxation. If adventure is your cup of tea, then climb the giant buoy and lead yourself to the rapids which will encompass you. You could also play on the several slides in the park for some fun with friends and family.
5. Archaeology museum
Musée de l’Éphèbe is an underwater archaeology museum which overlooks the beautiful harbor in Cap d'Agde. This museum was opened in 1987 and consists of 3 galleries; modern gallery, bronze gallery, and antique gallery. The modern gallery contains exhibits like medieval ceramics, ammunition from the royal fleet and shipwrecked cargoes dating back to the 17th century. The antique gallery consists of items from maritime trade as well as ancient boats. The bronze gallery is especially impressive as it houses ancient bronzes. The museum derives its name from one exclusive item in the museum, the l’Éphèbe d’Agde, which is a late-Hellenistic bronze statue of a young man, purported to be Alexander the Great.
6. Enjoy Luna Park as a family
The Luna Park in Cap d'Agde is a family friendly amusement park which offers a fun day out for all ages. This funfair attraction has free admission and individual rides are charged. There are about 20 adult attractions and more than a dozen family attractions catered to young children. There are several games of skill and strategy as well. Different crowds are present at different times of the day at the park. if you have kids with you, then the best time to come to Luna Park is in the early evenings. This is when people usually bring their little ones to play on the slides, bouncy castles, and carousels, something that children always enjoy! As the park is located on a leisure strip, later at night, young adults flock the park and later move on the discos to continue the night.
7. Amazing experience at Cap d’Agde Naturist Village
The most surreal part of a trip to the resort village in Cap d'Agde can be on your first ever visit, as you enter the resort for the first time. Cap d'Agde is known to have fine, sandy beaches in a preserved, natural environment. As such, the Cap d’Agde naturist village lets visitors fully enjoy whatever nature has to offer. The naturist village in Cap d'Agde opens up to the Mediterranean sea and is self-contained. With about 2km of beaches for visitors to enjoy, the Village also consists of a varied range of accommodation options. There is also a wide variety of restaurants, leisure activities and shopping avenues for you to spend your time.
8. Spend a day whale watching
Why not try out something different for a change and set out on a boat. Whale watching is a popular activity in Cap d'Agde and the Mediterranean sea provides just the right opportunity to do so. There are dedicated whale watching companies which offer boat trips out to catch whales having a good time in the water apart from other tours like fishing and sunset tours. The boatmen will explain the various species of whales and also educate people on the various measures in place to protect these creatures and their habitats.
Do note that sightings are not always guaranteed. Nonetheless, you will still get a fun day out at sea with a fresh breeze blowing at your face. One reputed company which offers excellent trips out with top-notch service is Terre Marine. Do check out this company which offers such trips that are reasonably priced and reliable.
9. Visit a World Heritage Site
Canal du Midi is a 240-kilometer (150-mile) long waterway which stretches from Toulouse to Sète and was constructed in the 17th century. It is one of its kind in the world and has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Adge lies towards the end of the Canal du Midi just before ending at Sete. As such, this site can be visited while at Cap d'Agde. The canal is mainly used as a transportation route for irrigation as well as tourism. Visitors can take a boat ride along the canal and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city from this world heritage site.
What is unique about this canal at Agde is that the Agde lock is the sole round lock on the canal. This has been made out of volcanic rock and extends over three varying depths. This feature allows boats to navigate in different directions, heading further to Béziers towards Toulouse, Thau lagoon and the town of Agde.
10. Sip wine at Hérault-Méditerranée
The Hérault Méditerranée region where Cap d'Agde lies on a perfect terrain for wine-growing. Cultivators have used this opportunity and converted the region into a wine tourism destination. Wine tourism maps can be found at the tourism office in Cap d'Agde, helping you plan your vineyard tours. The wines in Agde are highly reputable and provide an explosion of tastes.
