ok re: sam & nadia being friends who also hate each other:

I think the MOST tension that would form between them is the fact that objectively Sam speaks to and sees Nasrin way more than Nadia does. And even post-game events where she tries to rebuild that relationship, it's undeniable that Sam brings out a completely foreign side to her mother that she has never witnessed, even with Namar. which makes her feel a variety of things, one being resentment that she never showed that carefree side with Nadia lmfao
