i was watching the dystopia daily episode with dan’s grandma and is it actually true that she was interacting with fans on twitter? lmao
she was! especially one person who kept @'ing her and then there was drama about it cause people said this person was harassing her and she was like um no we've been having perfectly lovely conversations. i miss her tweets she is so cute

but my personal favourite part of veronica's twitter era is the amount of tweets to and about phil. like that's unbearably precious actually. being an amazingphil fan is in their genes i think

Last week, Mike and Dave spoke to Chloe Hill at the Unleashed Events con. She asked about fave Boosh episodes:
Mike: “Yeti and Nanageddon are my favourite…I can’t watch the first series. I’m just very critical of myself in that one. It’s the first thing I’d ever done. But the second…you can see my confidence build over the later seasons.”
Dave: “I think you’re too hard on yourself, Mike. I think you’re brilliant. Everyone always goes ”Mike’s a great actor” and I go “No, Mike IS Naboo!” That’s Mike in life. The only difference is he’s got a turban on.”

Headcanon for gender-fluid Vince!
Course Vince is always pretty gnc, but there’s some episodes that he sticks to more masculine or feminine fashion and terms. Killaroo and Mutants, he’s always wearing his work uniform and coming off a bit more macho and not really seen as a woman. But in Nanageddon, he spends almost the whole show in a skirt or dress and seems completely content to be one of the grandmas rather than a man in his 20s. There’s also episodes where we see a pretty big spectrum of his expression, namely Journey to the Center of Punk where Vince himself is dressed on the masc side of androgynous, and his braincell seems not to be gendered with both masc and fem Vince’s on TV the high fem secretary and the masc guards. We also see it in the characters Vince portrays himself as, the major one being Sunflash. He introduces Sunflash, who’s effectively a version of Vince that’s just living his dreams, as a he-she and other (outdated) terms for being trans or gnc. Of course actors of any gender can play characters of any gender, but in this case it could be read as an insight into Vince’s brain.

On the Nanageddon commentary, Julian explains the blue face prop in the background of this scene!
Julian: “See that kind of face?”
Noel: “Yeah.”
Julian: “I found it in a charity shop on Essex Road “Past Caring.”
Noel: “I remember. I paid for it!”
