Long answer

After Twilight got injured by the Shadow, instead of waking up the next morning normally he was awoken by sunlight burning his skin, as during the night he got turned into a Shadow beast.

The obvious thing to do when you wake up as a monster is run way so that the heroes you've been travelling with don't immediately murder you. Unfortunately for Twilight the heroes assume he's been kidnapped and aren't going to be stopped, even with the kidnapper having taken Epona as well.

The heroes travel for a bit following Sky's dowsing for the Ordon shield (why'd the kidnapper take that?) run into some monster's, fight and then Wind gets mckidnapped himself by a black blur. (where did Epona come from???)

Wind wakes up and has possibly the weirdest interaction with a monster ever?? it's weirdly friendly, polite, and is willing to carry him all the way back to the group of stab happy heroes??

Wild figures out that Epona knows where Twilight is and leaves camp in the middle of the night to find out. She brings him to the Shadow beast and Wild only almost stabs him.

When they get back to camp and the confusion gets cleared up the heroes start trying to figure out how to get Twilight back to being Hylian, going through a portal and that where ilthis chapter will start!

Last time we had a Sky POV Sky was dowsing and the heroes were very confident in back and slash the first dark thing we find, so it'll be fun to see what his thoughts on the situation are now :)
