The meaning of the mantra goes like this, “O Lord Krishna, you protect the universe, and you control it. You are the supreme power, and you are the beloved of the gopikas. Oh Lord, protect me from every evil power. You who has the entire world in his hands. You who holds the Sudarshana Chakra and destroys every injustice, I surrender myself to you.”

The Sudarshana Chakra is generally portrayed on the right rear hand of the four hands of Vishnu, who also holds a shankha (conch shell), [Gada] (mace) and a padma (lotus). While in the Rigveda the Chakra was "[Vishnu]'s" symbol as the wheel of time, by the late period Sudarshana Chakra emerged as an ayudhapurusha (anthropomorphic form), as a fierce form of Vishnu, used for the destruction of an enemy. In Tamil, the Sudarshana Chakra is also known as Chakkrath Azhwar (translated as Ring/Circlet of God).

went to see 'game changer' for the second time today.

here are some thoughts before I forget again. will be mostly spoilers.

I love that they went all out with the music numbers. The dancing, costumes and extras really add to the energy of the whole film.

The soundtrack is great. Not just the music numbers, the use of music throughout really gets you hyped for what's happening on screen.

The story is centred around corruption and power. But I think having Ram's character being always one step ahead really lightened the mood and made it a satisfying watch. He had some nice dialogue which is what you want in a hero really.

Mopidevi is such a good villian character! The way SJ Suryah played him is just so fun to see.

Appanna's character really hit me. Oh I do love a very humble moral character. That whole section was really sad and such a good part of the film.

Liked that Appanna's character shows how corrupting money and power can be. It's something I think about a lot so I did enjoy having that be such a big part of the story.

Appanna and Parvathy's relationship is just so cute and wholesome. You really got a sense of how much they love and respected each other from their scenes together. Just looked like a really healthy loving relationship.

Wish there was more on Ram and Deepika's relationship. Would have been cute to have more moments of them together and to further develop their relationship. Probably would have been difficult to fit into the rest of the film but still would have been nice. I did like what little we got.

Didn't really like the part of Parvathy's death. It was just very dark but also is the election really more important than her life? Bit too dramatic for me. And how did no one pick up on her search history? surely that's suspicious af.

Which kinda leads to this next point. I think I would have enjoyed the story a lot more if Ram was not related to Appanna and Parvathy. Then there wouldn't be that morally questionable point of him being the election officer when he has personal connections. And the rest of the story still would have held. But then I guess we wouldn't get Ram Charan playing Appanna which was the highlight of the movie for me.

Okay so now for what bothered me the most lol. Where is NaaNaa Hyraanaa?? I thought they added it back in now? When going to watch it the second time, I was most looking forward to seeing this song. I've been listening to it non-stop and the still images I've seen of it look so good. I just want to see :(

naanaa baeee i feel like im misreading the ship but a lot of proship antis will protect minors and ship tojigo…..am i missing smth bc wasnt gojo a kid and a teen when he saw toji??? smth abt tojigo content makes me feel sick..

i’m not a huge fan of that ship for the same reason but i usually only see fanart of them together when they’re both adults, and though they didn’t meet at that point they are both adults in the fanart depiction so i think it’s ok?

obviously it’s weird as fuck if they’re making fanart of them together when gojo was 16, but idk

like i said, not a fan of the ship but id take seeing adult tojigo on the tl over yuuji and gojo or some shit
