Sometimes Jeff and I wander around NYC like tourists. We go somewhere to eat we haven't tried before, walk around tourist attractions, take photos, and observe our surroundings like we are on vacation. i often feel overwhelmed by the fact i live here, it does not feel real most of the time. when i see the statue of liberty on my commute to work i am reminded of how hard me and so many others have worked to succeed in a place like this.
not my usual content but nyc real estate is fucking dystopian. Just toured a 3rd floor walkups are going for $3400/mo. Not to mention the horrible experiences i’ve had with these real estate agents’ egos — super flakey and rude. It truly feels like playing a game of monopoly to them.
