Not only that, but they'll ALSO be hitting up C2E2 and NYCC next year.

Pre-sales start October 28th for Beacon members. You should receive a code in your email.

General sales for most of these start on Oct 30th.

I'm not sure yet what the booth rules are/ whether there's a limit on # of items you can bring, so while I personally would be super happy to, I think it would probably be good to check with First Second in advance! New York Comic Con!

Im trying to put together a young justice group costume for NYCC 2024! ages 14-19 preferred. plz tag ur friends or reblog! (even if u arent coming- i rlly want to make this a reality!!!) (also dw abt ur costume being "good" or "professional", this is just for fun and i know some people dont have the funds or time for a fancy cosplay!)

so. i have arrived with yet again another stupid post because i have way too much free time (the perks of exam season being over!!)

i have done some MATH, and collected some information regarding the time frames between season 4-5, and based on those, i will be speculating a possible s6 release window. (can you blame me. i am a swiftie and i think you can see)

*dates are written as in date/month/year so don’t get confused!*

season 4 - 5 gap: 261 days (3/11/2022-22/7/2023)

season 4 - s5 window release announcement: 144 days (3/11/2023-27/3/2023)

season 4 - first volume 2 reflection story: 173 days (3/11/2022-25/4/2023)

s5 window release announcement - s5: 117 days (27/3/2023-22/7/2023)

first volume 2 reflection story - s5: 88 days (25/4/2023-22/7/2023)

nowwwww we have the current situation-thing:

season 5 - day of writing this: 150 days (22/7/2023-19/12/2023)

season 5 - geeked week: 110 days (22/7/2023-9/11/2023)

-this far these are the only dates i can provide us with. although i would like to point out ->

geeked week: 9/11/2023

notice the common thread? second week of every month. keep that in mind for later. (don’t trust me on that as i thought we were gonna get something during the second week of december too but uhhh that didn’t happen 🤡🤡)

going onto the actual speculating part (solely based on time frames between s4-5):

s6 release window: 13/12/2023 (that did not happen! 🤡 although i feel like they could drop it around christmas time, since the s5 poster was on because of wondercon) -> somewhere between 25/12/2023-7/1/2024

first volume 3 reflection story: 11/1/2024 -second week- (22/7/2023 + 173)

first v3 reflection story-s6: 8/4/2024 -second week- (11/1/2024 + 88)

speculative s6 release window-s6: 20/4/2024-4/5/2024

so. according to my estimate, we could expect season 6 anytime between 8th april and 4 may 2024. although i find it unlikely for them to put it out at the week between april 29th-may 5th as that’s orthodox holy week. also i think i should mention, none of these dates overlap with atla’s live action release, which is obviously something they’d want to avoid.

there you have it. 8-28 april 2024. how does that sound? being honest, i’d supposedly stick to the week between 8-15 april as i feel it is the safest choice -> later dates are based on a sole estimate while the earlier dates have some sort of base to them.

honestly at this point i am just clowning but oh well. don’t take this too seriously

Ohhh yes yes, I know what this is about! Someone had seen Sebastian on Saturday night in NYC with Jeremy Strong, the actor, and Chris has also talked about knowing Jeremy a few times I think? Maybe even recently, but I missed that if so. And then the Broadway thing is about the fact that Chris mentioned at NYCC that he's looking to do another Broadway play very soon, while Sebastian mentioned in a Zoom call with Don a while ago that he was also working on getting a Broadway show off the ground, and that he had someone in mind to star in it with him (and he did his Chris smile <3)

Not sure if any of these things are actually related haha, but it would be lovely, and I think that's what @riricitaa was referring too! Hope this helps <3

NYCC 2023 - Featuring me not being able to do splits 🤸 or understanding how to apply makeup in a mirror 🤷‍♀️ But I did exchange "Hi Barbie!"s no less than 60 times a day and posed for photos with some FANTASTIC cosplayers. It was Barbie's world for the weekend and we just ran around it it (in the birkenstocks I already owned, natch.)

So yeah 10 years of cosplay. I never thought I’d be in this position now. Tbh I thought I was going to be “cosfamous” at 19 or 20 but real life stepped in. Lol

So what do I do now? Answer: keep cosplaying! My goal is to eventually compete at New York comic Con or even find someone to work with and compete for World Cosplay Summit! But my skills in sewing need refinement, my wig styling skills need major improvement and finding someone to work with for WCS is a challenge on its own.

I want to thank everyone who has been supporting me and the cosplay community as this 10 years has gone by. Cosplay as a hobby and field are so much more known in the public eye today when it was more niche a decade ago. Hell even NYCC still had tickets available the week of the con in 2013. I’m always looking to learn and improve on my work and I’m excited for what the next years have in store!

You know what I think I have to commit to my cringe and write the Frenchie/Ed/Stede/Jack/Izzy troll AU.

Like. I haven't written a cross over since middle school but there really is so much potential for shoving these guys into shipping quadrants. Like I already laid out Blackhand's failing moirailegence turned pale pitch fluctuation and Izzy's pitch crush on Stede and Jack and Stedes budding Kissmesitude. However I haven't even touched on Ed and Frenchie's pale flirtation or Ed ignoring his very present ashen feelings towards both the Stizzy Kissmesitude and the GentlemanJack Kissmesitude so that he doesn't disastrously shift his quadrant with Stede who he wants firmly in the flush quadrant. Frankly if I didn't have a full plate with Myspace AU, Ed, 19, Never Fucking Learned How To Blackbeard, the A to Zs of Ed Teach zine, Drag, going back to college, trying out for my school's musical, and NYCC I would write a fanfiction that Karkat himself would go feral for.

Also Spanish Jackie and Jim are in a Kissmesitude and Oluwande and Jim are moirails shifting into the flush quadrant. I could incorporate that somehow not everything has to be about Ed and his pet white boys and his best friend Frenchie.
