Happy Thursday ! Pattye was awesome as the heroine Mae in the Maria Irene Fornes play “Mud” performed at The Theater for the New City, in NYC, NY. The play had its New York premiere in November of 1983. Is a play about rural poverty, humanity’s darker side, human redemption, and how Mae tries to rise about the misery that surrounds her; Patricia was 32 at the time- the play won an OBIE award for Best New Play in 1984.

obviously when you look at eric bogosian's wikipedia page it's like "wow this man has truly lived a life," but the funniest examples of this from the iwtv press tour are:

a) the interview where he talks about young daniel molloy's look being modeled off Lou Reed, in a way that strongly suggests he was casual acquaintances with Lou Reed irl:

and b) the interview where he mentions correcting the 1970s drug paraphernalia props because louis' backgammon box didn't include the right kind of pipe:

current dilemma: very badly wanna go to new york in october for one last Sleep No More (unless they extend it again, lol) but cannot really justify the $$$ of 2 nights in a hotel

in theory I could just stay overnight but if I’m going all that way I wanna do Life & Trust too, so that means 2 nights

I was hoping going midweek would make it semi-affordable but. nah
