i watched myself become a figure snob like this
actually it was kind of like walter white's chaeacter development. the "bases make or break a figure" guy was in me the whole time
#squeak#no but for real if your figure base is like a plain black or white circle or square or oval or whatever i hate you#like im only a snob for myself i hope people collect what they like and are happy with it 100%#but a figure with a good base will make me drool#A GOOD BASE OR a figure that could be realistically displayed with no base i like those a lot too#i just like eclectically organizing my shelves and plain bases with zero saturation are not conducive to my goals in that regard#i have a few exceptions but that's just because (kicks rock) i like boys and have kinda low standards for figures of boys i like#NOODLE STOPPER FIGURES ARE SO CUTE i love the way they can add variety to a setup
