"Go and live with her, then! See if I care." The cry rumbled across the road, towards a retreating form wrapped in a cloak. Every step they took saw Hel bristle all the more, teeth bared, eyes wild. The instant before a proper curse could fly from her mouth, she became aware of another form at her back, posture frozen in place as she turned to meet that interloper. Blinking mutely at the shieldmaiden, she all but deflated, unsure of what to say after such a childish display.
