Character in general:  coughs softly as i go to step upon my gendry loving soap box. letme get real, i absolutely love gendry riv - i mean sno - i mean pumpkin - i mean waters. sorry, was momentarily possessed by the d&d demons. anyway, i have loved gendry since the books. my fondness for book gendry is so powerful and so mighty that when show gendry came about, i was admittedly particular. but when show gendry came, i was so happy and so pleased, and i just fell so in love. and i missed that row boating man for the years between season 4, i think, to season 7. bless his heart.How they play them: from the moment i saw this blog, i knew that it was good. when i first saw it in my recommended, i skimmed over it as i normally do. i read the rules, inspected the bio, yada, yada. but then i partook in the critical part, in that i looked over the writing, and by holy pumpkin spiced latte, i was amazed. the writing for gendry was absolutely stunning. in truth, the whole writing being conveyed in gendry’s style of dialogue is so clever and so engaging that i often find myself immersed into gendry’s voice. it’s as if i’m peering into george r. r. martin’s mind in how he views gendry’s internal thoughts. internal thought ception, shh. but really, i was so spellbound by this style alone, and the more i read the more i became infatuated by the dedication and passion and downright silliness to boot.The Mun: bella and i have only interacted a couple of times, but those couple of times have been utterly lovely, because bella is utterly lovely. utterly humorous and dedicated to the character and inclined to put up with my spoon and senpai loving silliness, i stan bella.
