NIOS Admission 2022 Class 10th, 12th:- NIOS Admission 2022 has been started on the official website of the authority. NIOS Application Form (April 2023) is now available. National Institute of Open Schooling is a board under the central government similar to other education boards CBSE and ICSE. It provides a great platform to the students who want to finish their secondary and senior secondary exams without appearing in the school. Eligibility for NIOS Admission 2022

Though this provides a great opportunity to the students there are certain eligibility criteria without which one cannot fill the admission form. Students who want to write the exam must fulfill the criteria as per the requirement of the Boards. NIOS takes secondary and senior secondary exams into account. Other courses are also offered by the main concentration is on the 10th and 12th Class board. Those who apply for the 10th board must clear the Class 8th and have the attested certificate showing that candidates have passed class VIII. Attested needs to be done by the gazetted officer. On the other hand, for the 12th board, candidates need to clear the std. 10th examination.

NIOS Application Form 2022

The candidates, who are looking forward to pursuing their studies in NIOS will have to fill an application form. The application form of NIOS for the October session was released on the 16th of September 2021 on the official website. The last date to apply for the session of October has ended. Now, one can apply with the late fee. While filling in the application form of NIOS, one should make sure that he/ she is filling all the correct details. After the candidate applies for NIOS Admission 2022 Class 10th, 12th, he/ she will have to pay the application fee. The step of paying the fee will lead to the procedure of uploading the required documents. If one becomes unable to complete all the steps, then he/ she will not be able to submit the form.

While filing the form, the Board wants the students to scan and upload the documents. This is a very important step as all the documents need to be scanned and uploaded in the admission process. The document that needs to be uploaded are:

Recent Passport size colored photographs.

Valid Identity Proof like Aadhar Card, Voter id., Passport, etc

Signature (preferably in Black Ink).

Date of Birth proof in case of the Secondary Course. dd/mm/yyyy is the format for it

Residence proof

Class 8th Marksheet or Self Certificate ( For secondary course).

Class 10th Marksheet/ Certificate ( For Senior Secondary Course) Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC).

NIOS Admission 2022 - National Institute of Open Schooling has opened the NIOS Admission 2022 Class 10th, 12th Window for October Exam. The last date for NIOS Admission 2022 Class 10th & 12th is January 31, 2023 without any late fee. However, with late fee fees, the last date for NIOS Admission 2022 is March 15, 2023.

Class 8th pass students who have completed 14 years of age can apply for NIOS Admission 2022 10th class and 10th pass students can apply for NIOS Admission 2022 12th class. To complete the NIOS Admission 2022 process, students need to pay the requisite NIOS Admission 2022 fee and upload the required documents.

NIOS Admission 2022 Dates (Stream 1)

NIOS conducts class 10th and 12th admissions twice a year. Students can check the tables by clicking this link to know the NIOS admission last dates for block 1 and block 2 exams.

All unsuccessful students of Class 10th and 12th from any recognized board are eligible to get NIOS admission 2022 under this stream.

They can also avail the facility of Transfer of Credit (TOC) up to a maximum of 2 subjects from the parent board.

The student must have passed in the subjects with 33% marks or equivalent grade.

Age Limit

For class 10th: The minimum age to take admission in 10th class is 14 years as on 31st July of the current year.

For Class 12th: The minimum age for taking admission in 12th class is 15 years as on 31st July of the current year.

A student who gives a self-certificate that "I have studied enough to be able to pursue a secondary course" may be eligible for admission to the secondary course.

To take admission in a senior secondary course, the learner must have passed the secondary course from a recognized board.
