watched the new mismag and then immediately upon finishing it listened to the new wbn and. to begin with, a little bit of whiplash going straight from one to the other, but also watching/listening to them back to back, nif and evan are so clearly cut from the same brennan character cloth. they have the exact same “i’m going to tell you something that YOU will think is sad/distressing/terrible but is normal for ME and i need you to not make a big deal of it” way of explaining their pasts and also just general. bad situation made better by. well. in evan’s case friends. in nif’s case, getting kidnapped i guess.
