Important Information about NEST 2017 Application Form
The only online mode is available for Candidates to fill and submit the NEST 2017 Application Form.
The application form for this exam is not available in offline mode.
The application form is available online from the 2nd January 2017 until 6th March 2017. After the date, an online window will be closed, and no one can submit the form.
Candidates have to fill the application form with all required details and upload the recently scanned images along with.
The filled application form will be submitted by online only. There is no provision for editing, so you should fill up the form carefully.
Male candidates of General/OBC category have to pay Rs.700/- as application fee.
SC/ST/PD and all female candidates have to pay Rs. 350/- as application fee.
All the primary online mode of payment like debit/credit card, net banking will be available for fee payment or Candidates can deposit their fee through demand draft of any bank drawn for NISER-NEST and payable at Bhubaneswar.
NEST 2017 Exam Pattern
The question paper will be of total 230 marks.
Negative Marking: Negative marking will be done for subjects section only. No negative marking in general section.
Sections: The examination paper will be divided into five different sections. One general section of 30 marks & four subject sections of 50 marks each.
Subjects: The five sections consist of General aptitude, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
Candidates can choose any section.
Merit Calculation: Only three highest scored sections was considered for merit calculation.
Language & Exam type: only English language will be used for exams and question will be of objective type questions.
NEST 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam with PCM/PCB
Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing in 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.

NEST 2017 – All the Important Information You Wants To Know
NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) is a national level entrance test in a joint venture of National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS).  This Test is conducted for providing admission to the five-year integrated M.Sc programmed offered by NISER and UM-DAE CBS. This Annual exam is being carried out around 59 cities across the country.  In this article, NEST 2017 Aspirants will get the detailed information about NEST 2017 including the application form, eligibility, exam pattern and syllabus.

NEST 2017 Application Form date has been announced on 2nd January 2017, and it is already started. So if you are a NEST 2017 aspirant, then read the dates carefully for the upcoming exam

Online Application has started on 2nd January 2017
Last date of Application Form submission is 6th March 2017
You can Download NEST Admit Card from 14th April 2017
NEST Exam Date is 27th May 2017 (10.00 AM to 1.00 PM)
Result will be an Announced on 16th June 2017
Important Information about NEST 2017 Application Form
The only online mode is available for Candidates to fill and submit the NEST 2017 Application Form.
The application form for this exam is not available in offline mode.
The application form is available online from the 2nd January 2017 until 6th March 2017. After the date, an online window will be closed, and no one can submit the form.
Candidates have to fill the application form with all required details and upload the recently scanned images along with.
The filled application form will be submitted by online only. There is no provision for editing, so you should fill up the form carefully.
Male candidates of General/OBC category have to pay Rs.700/- as application fee.
SC/ST/PD and all female candidates have to pay Rs. 350/- as application fee.
All the primary online mode of payment like debit/credit card, net banking will be available for fee payment or Candidates can deposit their fee through demand draft of any bank drawn for NISER-NEST and payable at Bhubaneswar.
NEST 2017 Exam Pattern
The question paper will be of total 230 marks.
Negative Marking: Negative marking will be done for subjects section only. No negative marking in general section.
Sections: The examination paper will be divided into five different sections. One general section of 30 marks & four subject sections of 50 marks each.
Subjects: The five sections consist of General aptitude, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
Candidates can choose any section.
Merit Calculation: Only three highest scored sections was considered for merit calculation.
Language & Exam type: only English language will be used for exams and question will be of objective type questions.
NEST 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam with PCM/PCB
Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2015 or 2016 are eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing in 12th or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.
Candidates should secure a position in NEST merit list.
