now that people arent shoving encanto down everyones throats i can say my hot take safely: the music in it was really mid EXCEPT waiting on a miracle which was an absolute masterpiece
#like surface pressure was good i guess but not musically per se#the lyrics were fine it was just an ode to eldest daughters#the movie itself was alright; i hate disney with a passion but that movie was pretty good. and of course representation#but like everyone was like omgggggg we dont talk about bruno omggggg surface pressure omggggg family madrigal#NAH. it was soooo mid then yall overplayed it and it sucked#waiting on a miracle is actually really good though. kinda cheesy broadway style but its good i like it.#tobin talks
