A little while ago I acquired a breeding pair of old Zaire Frontosa. The male is very spectacular, but I can’t get a good picture of him as he is in my 150 gallon indoor pond. His pectoral fins are intensely blue.
I did briefly move the female into a tank to take a picture of her and here she is!
Along with this pair I was able to acquire one of their spawns.
There are 11 babies
Baby Zaire…
My lfs has some N. multifasciatus, and just placed 3 on hold! They're going to stay with Pancake in the 10 for now (will add some sand and shells, of course!), Then have they're own tank when I move to VA this winter.
