Is anyone else around age 16 going to Närcon summer?? I only have like one friend who’s going this year so I’d love to meet new people and do a group cosplay if anyones interested?

being in my dark rider sabine cosplay at 2023’s summer närcon was one of the best experiences i’ve had and i hope to do it again one day 🙏

hoping to make another star stable cosplay one day, i just don’t know which character it’d be 😭 i do prefer having my face covered up and/or appearing genderneutral, but I can’t really come to think of any SSO designs that match that, especially out of the updated designs

A friend of mine and I are planning to go to Närcon Summer 2025. My friend plans to sell at the Artist Alley and wants me to start doing it too. It would be my first time, and I haven’t really made anything I could sell yet. All I can think of is stickers. XD At this moment it looks like I will only be there to keep her company

Hi Petra!! Maybe a bit of a silly question, but a group of friends and I have been planning to make tiger tiger cosplays for Närcon this summer, and we were wondering if you had any colored references aside from the physical book cover! So far we've got Ludo, Jamis, Luck, Honeyfoot and Remy. I know this is a lot to ask but it'd help out a lot with making the costumes!

I will be at närcon summer btw! Me and some other artists (peppar too!) got together to get a vendor’s room in C-huset so we won’t be in AA though. I hope people find us haha!

My two cosplays from Närcon Summer this year!

Astarion from Baldur's Gate 3 (of course), and Alice from Alice: Madness Returns

I worked very hard on my Alice cosplay ahead of this con and I'm so happy I manage to make it presentable in time! It needs some updates for next time and I want to make a prop for her but I still felt really good wearing it and I got many compliments on my work!

Astarion was a bit simpler and more confortable to wear, but he also need some updates! People really liked my wig though and I'm impressed myself at how well it held up through the con!

Finally leaving for Närcon tomorrow!

First a long roadtrip tomorrow, then three days full of con fun, and then home again Sunday!

All of the cosplays have turned out great, I have a new dress for Louise with a better color, Denki has a whole new outfit including shoes in his colors, and the brand new Hello Kitty turned out cute as hell!! 

The weather is a little dodgy on Thursday, just a few hours of potential rain, and then it looks perfect elsewise!
