Half the fun in the horror cowboys is the lads trying to maneuver this shit, as in characterisation n all that because

Juliette basically spends half her time close to a panic attack because somethings wrong here, why is nobody seeing this?? And it has to be the giant, ominous priest that somehow shoots better than her and is bathed in a suspicious amount of red light, right???? One quarter of her time murdering her way through the people still trying to hunt her down. And the last quarter vaguely horny because that priest is also hot and this is a very weird combination of feelings and then there's also her very funny and charming host that let's her stay and defends her against the town's people and she's falling in love with him, however could she explain what she's done in the name of love and revenge already? And holy shit, the priest and Johnny just brushed hands on the church step, holy shit, they have to be fucking-

Simon is over here having the time of his life, walking into places dramatically and being unsettling and telling people how to be good Christians while hooking up with Johnny in the church half of the time because they get a kick outta it. Seriously, he's helping his murder boyfriend find his next victims, he's getting decently paid, he gets to say weird Latin words that nobody involved knows what they mean, it's great! It's not a life on the road and he's getting antsy, yes, but he's having fun, Johnny's having fun and he might really enjoy Juliette stare at him with equal amounts of murder and horny as he tells people to repent.

Johnny, meanwhile, gaslight gatekeep girl bosses his way out of every single human interaction, making up the wildest shit possible on the uprise of coyote in the region as he decides whether he should eat the next person or go out for a simple drink with them. And he leaves blood stains on the altar, helps granny over the road, watch Juliette get more and more frazzled as shit goes on because she's convinced that something is wrong with that priest as he smiles and manages to pull her down for a kiss with teeth too sharp and eyes that glow because there's something very pretty about her getting frantic enough to be quiet again as she contemplates murder. It's not often they find someone covered in almost as much blood as them and he delights in the knowledge of her red stained hands on his cheeks. What beautiful, beautiful people he has in his life.

And the rest of the town meanwhile thinks that Juliette is a terrible omen, there was a group of men turning up dead just a bit out and Juliette stares because she knows these men, they were looking for her, how are they dead. Just as Johnny smiles in the background because ain't that tragic and Simon grumbles because he got blood on his coat last evening when he shot one of the lads' brain out because no way in hell are they letting any of them try and hunt Juliette. They're in this together now <3

And all in all, there isn't really a point to make, I just think it's fun :D
