I want to start a roleplay blog.

Could you give me some tips on how to set it up? + How it works? Thx.

Hmmm...

You should have about pages for the mun (Person running the blog), muse (character), rules and promo post (this is for reach!). You could make the main, pinned post as fancy or plain as possible. Plus feel free to add images and such.

Most roleplay blogs use sentence starters to get their RPs going. Use can make your own starter calls or use prompts!

Basically most RP blogs use reblogs to make threads. I can't really explain it well but I think my RP blogs might be a good example of how to RP?

You can download the Xkit extension, which allows you to cut individual reblogs. This means that you can shorten posts to the parts you need.

Other than that, I don't really have much advice? That'd all on the top of my head.

I want to learn more about Rúna! What are her interests? Any backstory/ trivia?

Oh! Well, Rúna loves reading, ESPECIALLY books on history and folklore. As a Bard, she loves to learn about tales of old and will make songs based on her favourite events and stories! Besides that, she loves "singing" (Basically making musical melodies with her hum), dancing and such. They're also learning how to play the fiddle.

She was once a regular old huntress, devoid of any personality or mind. However, she ended up unshackling and somehow got thrown into another world, specifically a coastal community. Despite their confusion and panic, she was eventually taken in by a kind kobold who's also part of the crew! Said kobold is the healer/ monk btw-

Now they sail with their crew to hunt down a great beast who's wrecking havoc around the islands and seas!

As for trivia, her situation is somewhat similar to the Duo's own, in that she unshackled due to a hunter... it's unknown what happened to the hunter, although the possibility of them also getting thrown into this world is greater than zero.

She's also slightly "older" than Edda, I like to imagine that they spawned a good while before Edda (How are starfolks supplied... does TOFA just spawns them in whenever they feel like it?).

She will sing Sea Shanties, ESPECIALLY Wellerman.

Her class is technically a Skald, which is a combination of a Barbarian and Bard. Her weapon/ instrument is a sperm whale-themed carnyx.Said carnyx is modified so it could be used as a hammer.

She acts like the captain's right hand man most of the time. The kobold is the actual captain... unfortunately everyone mistakes Rúna for the captain.

She isn't scared of water. It's a nuance at times but she doesn't mind.

I have to write quickly, I'm leaving for something.

Do you have a general idea of the plot for the retelling? Anything that deviates from the canon?

Hmmm... yeah! It's a bit more... modern? Like think Steampunk stuff. I do plan on there being a train scene, probably when the duo are together.

So I do know that Angel and Demon are not really leaders of any kind, but they're just random starfolks that the duo come across. Same with everyone else. Summum was watching the duo for a long time... though.

Hunters, proper name pending, have animal traits here! Aven might be based on a thylacine, while Edda might be a wallaby or dingo or something? Not too sure on what she'll be.

Edda's very feisty and mischievous, while Aven is more skittish and shy (Now I'm thinking that a tasmanian devil would be a good fit for Edda-). Also Edda has red-green colourblindness while Aven has Visual snow syndrome so... yeah-

Hmmmm... lemme see

As I said, she is attempting to learn how to play the fiddle... but she's also learning the guitar! She loves folk music.

She's very scared of enclosed places, like caves. She also tends to get nightmares of a being with six wings, which is absolutely terrifying.

She has an interesting in seabirds. Especially albatrosses, she loves albatrosses .

Also, got anything to mention about the world she ended up in? Maybe her crew?

(also, do you plan to make a fic with her, because I absolutely love her (dw if you don't)).

Hmmm.. Well, I did say that the World that she ended up in is seafaring-themed. What I meant by that is it's basically a chain of islands with lots of water between them, so sailing is the major mode of transport from one spot to the next. Plus it involves a lot of nautical stuff too... including sea shanties-

As for her crew, we shall give them a proper introduction!

Revi Sorrel is a kobold cleric/ fighter who uses their staff as their weapon. The captain of the crew, they are quite level-headed and adventurous, albeit a bit mischievous at times. They have a cobra familiar named Chant, who is quite calm and helps with levelling out their mischievous streak.

Harpy Hare (or just Hare for short) is a unicorn brawler who was born with extremely weak magic, mostly only able to take on a humanoid form. Despite this, he still uses his horn as a spear, making him quite terrifying in combat. He is extremely determined and can be quite stubborn, but he is quite helpful.

Arne Falk is a harefolk ranger who joined the crew in order to track down the beast that destroyed his town. Extremely good at his job, he is extremely charismatic and daring, if not a little bit fiery. He's also a really good bartender, and gladly helps with relaxing on the crew's downtime days, sharing drinks and telling tales with Rúna!

Also unfortunately, I don't think I could make a fic with her, since that seems a little daunting, although a potential oneshot (or series of oneshots) seems a bit more likely-

AVEN WAIT I HAVE AN IDEA.

So, Rúna is an Unshackled Lightfolk right? Then what about her counterpart? Specifically, what if they get thrown into the same world as her.

Cue them being scared and confused, and trying to seek Rúna out (Unshackled beings, because of their incomplete Unity, share a connection to those who freed along side them).

Aka: Potential antagonist or maybe just a friend?

Hmmmm... I have thought about them! But I'm not too sure how to incorporate them...

They could be searching for Rúna... or I revamp Arne (Who I made up in a minute to be the forth member of the rag-tag team) to be Rúna's counterpart... who comes in very, VERY late-

Currently preparing to play through Pokemon Black, so have another Gen 5 Pokemon I like:

Scolipede!

It's a Bug/Poison type that's very territorial. Plus, it's the rival of Centiskorch!

Also have its prior evolutions: Venipede and Whirlipede!

Hey it's okay! We can wait, plus a project that took a long time to create will be better than a rushed project... is that the saying? Plus when you do release a new chapter, it's guaranteed to be filled with lots of love and amazing writing!

Also I am good. We have been seeing lots of moths lately so now Aven is mentally going "Hey look! Mystic!" And frankly that's oddly hilarious. Oh and many of them are big moths.
