β€οΈβπ₯My 2025 Shifting Planβ€οΈβπ₯ (that's not actually a plan but let's ignore this)
So, first a little storytime:
I discovered shifting on December 29th 2023 trough an online friend (who i don't talk to anymore), and basically she said she' thinking about permashifting and since I didn't want to apear stupid I googled it and did some research and well yeah. That's how I discovered shifting.
Only a few months later I told one of my close friends who I tjought wouldn't judge me (I couldn't keep shifting a secret anymore) and it turned out she was also a shifter and had contemplatet telling me. So we started talking alot about it (we still do) and we kept ourselfs up to date on our DRs and journeys and even made a DR together (we also atemted to shift together).
Over the last year I started making more and more DRs, tried many different things, and even found some things that work for me (brown noise trust me). I even succesfully manifested something!
But then life started to be a bitch, and I started having trouble, stress and overall no energy to direct towards shifting. I laid it on ice.
And in the last months I got back a little bit. I started reading more shifting posts, thinking about my DRs again and now decided to make 2025 my year! So here is what I'll do:
I do a visualisation routine. This is something I planed and did a while ago, but now I'm planing on making it a routine. Basically, I picture my DR apartment (I used my Chess DR apartment for this, since I have it fully planed out in my head) and do my evening routine. I always start with sitting on the couch, then I go to the bathroom, brush my teeth, do a little skincare and do my hair, and then I go over to my bedroom. I change into PJs, turn of the lights and go to bed. The same routine as always, and I picture it with as much detail as possible.
Start scripting on paper again. I used to do this all the time, and I even have long and finished scripts in my scripting book, all writen down. It helps me focus on one DR.
Continue my shifting diary. When I started shifting, I wrote down everything that happened in my scripting book, hiw I started, what symptoms I got, etc etc. I think I'll do this in a little form, just writing down the DR, the date and the method in a little notebook.
Post about it! I used to post about shifting all the time and now my account is as good as dead!
Connect with my shifting friends. Exchange Ideas, storytimes, and just generally be here for eachother.
