End of the Year.

2024 has been a whirlwind...many things happened, and many changes happened.

Therapy- actually is really helping this time.

Relationship- Lucas has been the best thing to happen to me this year. (he's second because therapy started first haha)

Other relationships- Many for the good, and some for the bad. Sometimes you have to cut off people in life that are toxic or just aren't good to you.

Having a better out look on life in general.

Those are the top 4 things I feel that are big this year.

I'm honestly for pretty much the first time ever...happy...which to be honest feels a little weird to think about. Happy hasn't really ever been my thing. Depressed, anxious, sad, neutral, and things along that line have always been my moods or what not.

Not that I don't have those still, but it's much much less. I look at myself in a very different way than I ever thought I would. I have a more positive look on things and on myself. Like I am actually going places...actually doing things. (mostly)

Lucas has been a saving grace to me. The best, and I mean best, thing to happen in life relationship wise. He's so many things, but most of all he's the person I needed in life. He will never know/understand how thankful I am for him. He gets me. FINALLY someone that gets me. He doesn't maybe get all that I've been through, but I don't know all that he has either and that's totally fine. Sometimes we just need a person...THEE person in life you need.

Fuck, I love him a lot.

I want you to go have beer with your friends, for you to be hungover the next morning and ask me to join you anyway because you feel like having me in your arms, for us to nuzzle against one another. I want to talk in bed in the morning about all sort of things, but sometimes, in the afternoon, I want us to decide to take different paths for the day. I want you to tell me about the evenings with your friends. To tell me that there was a girl at the bar who gave you the eye. I want you to send me texts messages when you're drunk with your friends, for you to tell me unimportant things, just so you can be assured that I think of you, too. I want us to laugh while making love. For us to we start laughing because we're trying new things and it just doesn't make sense. I want us to be our friends, for you to take me by the hand and take me to another room because you cannot take it anymore and you feel like right there you have to make love to me. I want to try to stay silent because there are ears that could hear us. I want to eat with you, want you to make me talk about me and for you to talk about you. I want us to rant about the northern lights. I want us to imagine the loft of our dreams, knowing that we will probably never move in together. For you to tell me about your plans with neither head nor tail. I want to be surprised, for you to make me say that, "Take your passport; we're leaving." I want to afraid of you. To do things I would not do with anyone else, because with you I am confident! To return too drunk after a good evening with friends. For you to take my face, kiss me, use me like your pillow and squeeze me so tightly at night that I would melt in your arms. I want you to have your life, for you to decide on a whim to travel for a few weeks. For you to leave me here alone bored and wishing for that small Facebook pop-up with your face that tells me "hey!"
