Second S:WH oc! Meet Headless Sprite

Their card is The Hanged Man, they're based on thylacines, black shucks and the headless horseman AND it can glow! It's also pretty tall, as in almost twice the height of the Fool... but they're chill!

Character ask Puck

PUCK

Favorite thing about them: He is a sassy and funny prankster, one of my favorite character archetipes. Interestingly, when we first meet Puck, he appears to be just malicious trough and trough. And while yes, he actually enjoys causing misery to humans for his own amusement, we see that he genuinelly feels pity for some characters like Helena, and regrets his mistake of exchanging Demétrius for Lisander on the aplication of the love potion spell. On those instances, we see that Puck has a slightly innocent side that makes him adorable.

Least favorite thing about them: I was originally going to say none, but maybe the fact that he sides with Oberon on tricking Titânia to fall in love with Donkey! Bottom so she feels humiliated and ends giving up the Changeling Child may feel subject to criticism. Buuut... it was never something that contradicts his character, who was extablished as being far removed from human morality and cares mostly with what is fun for him. So i don’t see it as big of a deal.

Random headcanon: He is the brother of Ariel, from The Tempest. And constantly mocks him for having been a servant of “a human (Prospero) of all beings”.

Unpopular Opinion: I don’t have any. I just love this sprite so much.

it’s so frickin’ weird. ari and ad were conceptualized as the Protagonists. 

from the getgo it was supposed to be Ad helps Ari start a coup and also maybe they kiss. I did my favorite little personal trope of a pink and blue pair of heroes where the blue one has a hammer and the pink one has pigtails. I don’t wanna say i worked hard on them per se but they’re the most recent incarnations of my two oldest OCs, like, ever. I’ve had a lot of time to cement who they are and how they act and stuff.

but then. ohhhhh but then.

i just. slap a concept together for a filler employee in a picrew while conceptualizing my lobcorp OCs. Didn’t think too hard. I slap together a sprite for him and give him the first name I can think of, and barely think about a personality for him when I drum up a summary of Ad and Ari’s story. Then I make ONE edit of him headless and he EXPLODES. I get an entire named anon and an edit request for Butter. I NEVER get edit requests. Let alone for any of my OCs. Granted I only started having OCs recently and I can only draw the simplest concepts for them if they aren’t lobcorp-based, but that’s still incredibly impressive. He overshadows the intended protagonists of Employed Abnormality. All ‘cuz he can take his head off.

Now I have two ideas for SWH ocs:

This one is based on The Hanged Man, mostly likely will be called "Headless Sprite." Based off of the headless horseman and have some slight black shuck/ Church Grim motifs.

Bases on Ace of Wands, and might be called "Inkblot Heartpiece." Not too sure on this one? Will have an artist motif and might be based off of pari from Genshin Impact... or at least birds in general.

Also why do I suddenly want to doodle a potential Sayanora Wild Hearts oc-

I don't even have ideas for them...
