First "official" day in the NYC area:

1) Brunch at The Cornerstone in New Jersey:

Everything I got was imply delicious. I didn't even get to try half the things this place has to off and I was completely full. To our pleasant surprise, they didn't charge for mimosas either. If you're ever in the area and looking for a buffet brunch, I can only recommend this place!

2) Silverball Retro Arcade

Finally got to try skee-ball and I only almost injured somebody once.. 😅😅😅 Hit three 50s in total, too.. 🙂

3) Monster mini golf:

So which ones were we, @jerzwriter? Lol. We both sucked about the same, so that was fun!

hey uh I've only used airbnb twice because I don't live in America but I'm seeing posts about how hotels are better in every way and while I can't speak to the accuracy of most arguments I'd like to point out the nuance that for people like me having access to a kitchen (something hotels basically never give) is absolutely a requirement if I'm staying more than like one night. The vast majority of food served in hotels and restaurants I can't eat and chances are I won't be able to check in advance if I'm going to run into enough exceptions to not make myself sick (twice I've gotten sick traveling because I wasn't able to find enough foods and spent a week eating like two ingredients, due to unforeseen complications). I need a kitchen or I can't risk going. Kitchenless hotel rooms are an accessibility issue.

I do not know enough about Lagerfeld's work to know what this has to do with the most recent Sketchy Yet Famous honoree, but Janelle Monae at least looks Artistic And Weird. Good for her!

Google says this is Met Gala co-chair Michaela Coel. The placement of the "pasties" and fringe-looking "skirt" beading remind me of Josephine Baker, but that's probably just my very specific frame of reference. Either way, love it!

As is tradition, my sister sent me JChas' look, and as seems to be tradition, it was a lovely and very Safe dress that I'm sure had something or other to do with the theme. That being said, I do think that shade of blonde makes her look like a mom who exclusively dresses little Brynleigh-Aynn in taupe:
