The Challenge of Mathematics Assignments
Mathematics is a subject that builds on itself. Each new concept often relies on a thorough understanding of previous topics, making it crucial for students to stay on top of their coursework. However, several factors can make this difficult:
Complexity of Topics: Subjects like differential equations, linear algebra, and probability can be incredibly complex, requiring not just memorization but deep conceptual understanding.
Time Management: With multiple subjects to focus on, students often struggle to dedicate enough time to each math assignment, leading to rushed or incomplete work.
Fear of Failure: The pressure to perform well in mathematics can cause anxiety, leading students to avoid seeking help even when they need it.

american anon. i am not white but i am usually white passing in most contexts. my most important question is about the direction of democracy there. (also i heard a lot of conservative Americans moved to NZ because they made up some fetishized version of it in their head and imagined it as a white haven or something; is that true?) but also yeah would be interested to hear about the current government's social policies.
Yes! That is true, a lot of Americans think this is some white utopia! And I've even seen some who moved here on tik tok say that racism doesn't exist here because you can actually see Māori when you go outside 🙃
We're in a cost of living crisis, unemployment is up, job ads are down, there are cuts in every industry, massive ones in education and the public sector, it's so crowded people with postgraduate degrees are struggling to get basic office jobs and even retail jobs, not even specialist roles to their degrees. House and renting market is insane. You would need a guaranteed job and supported financial system to financially do it here. It's not an environment you could come to right now and 'wing it'.
We have the highest incarceration rate of indigenous women in the world (yep! We're even beating the US there!), Māori are overrepresented in the justice system as prisoners, victims, and offenders. Māori have poorer health and education outcomes. Overpolicing exists and I even have stories of uncles and cousins who have experienced police violence in 'the modern era' like millenial family members.
Over four years (2020-2024) we had over 14,000 hate crimes reported to police. Between 2022-2024 more than a third of reported hate crimes targeted people of Asian descent. Between 2022-2023, Muslims reported 205 hate crimes, that's just over one every two days and Muslims don't even make up 1.5% of our population! Pasifika communities experience racism, our incoming Deputy Prime Minister, David Seymour made a joke on live radio about how he'd like to blow up the Ministry for Pacific Peoples (which IS a government agency and he was an MP then too) last year BEFORE the election and there were no repercussions. The current government has no interest in racism except enabling it, they've demolished a group that were investigating hate crimes and white supremacy, the Māori Health Authority which was established to promote better health outcomes for Māori, want freedom of speech laws to pass and make Universities have to agree to uphold freedom of speech policies to receive funding. They're changing the tertiary and primary education landscape with no thought for learners or educators. They're destroying the tertiary education sector and creating so many job losses that'll also have intergenerational losses for the students who won't get qualifications and training, especially in the trades sector. What they're planning to do, over 90% of our polytechs won't survive.
Gender affirming healthcare is extremely inaccessible here, some schools still don't allow students to use the bathroom or wear the uniform that matches their identity. NZ First want to make it illegal for trans women to use women facilities and for sports to be based on biological sex assigned at birth rather than gender identity and are disguising their transphobia as 'concern for women's safety and wellbeing' when every single man in their party voted against abortion law reform to decriminalise it a couple of years ago.
We're moving more to privatisation of prisons, more prisons being built, youth boot camps being set up for young people, especially Māori. One of the parties in government, NZ First, is very much interested in trying to make prison slave labour part of their punishment and accountability.
Education and healthcare is fucked with cuts and legislation. So many teachers and healthcare workers have moved to Australia. They've done cuts to make it harder for people to use childcare services, families are struggling whether they work or not. They're trying to force people to not work from home.
Our PM has said he won't touch the abortion legislation but he has said in the past that abortion is "tantamount to murder". Our incoming Deputy PM is the reason why it's legal for people to harass people at abortion and gynecological healthcare providers, because it's freedom of speech.
There are so many bills going through to kill the environment and just make money. It's damaging for the environment and Māori as the land is part of us and we are her privileged caretakers. There's too many bills there to name. There are some conflicts of interest that are getting involved with this.
Our cabinet is stupid, those ministers are only doing work that is a waste of time and money. It's people establishing unnecessary projects to waste taxpayers money and boost their ego and dissolving other ones for the same reason.
This country is a racist place. These are just vague brief points and I honestly just don't have the brain to type up more. It's four am, I want to not be stressed and sleep. I hope you're having a nice morning. And I do not want to hear something like "oh it's so much better than america though!/shut up and be grateful!" because it is a DISGUSTING time to be Māori here, we are being told that we do not matter and are second-grade citizens in our own country.

Kyle Steven Boldrey, Michigan inmate 423368, born 1991, incarceration intake in 2017 at age 25; earliest possible release August 2038, maximum discharge August 2066
Murder, 2nd Degree
In 2017, behind the prosecution table, 11 men and women quietly but palpably longed for the two missing men who they would never see again.
Behind the defense table, 11 men and women sat in support of a loved one at the beginning of many years of bars and cement block walls.
Between them stood a young man who, according to police and the prosecution, in 2016 ingested a drug and brutally murdered an elderly man and his own childhood friend.
Another hearing was held in February 2019, in which that afternoon, Kyle Boldrey, 26, was resentenced for the 2016 murders of Keith Atkinson and Trevor Hubbard, murders police said Boldrey committed while under the influence of a synthetic hallucinogen called 25i-NBOMe.
Judge Michael Mack of the 26th Circuit Court handed down a sentence of 22 to 50 years for each of two counts of second-degree murder, to be served concurrently.
The court already sentenced Boldrey once. In October 2017, Mack assigned Boldrey 25 to 50 years in prison, exceeding the recommended guidelines because of the brutality of the case.
Boldrey appealed the 2017 sentence, indicating that he had pleaded no contest under a misunderstanding about the number of years to which he could be sentenced. At the second hearing, Boldrey formally withdrew his plea and entered a second no-contest plea, this time under full understanding of what might lie in his future because of his decision in the past.
A no-contest plea is not an admission of guilt, but an admission that the charges cannot be fought. It is treated as a guilty plea for sentencing purposes.
At the heart of the crime was the hallucinogen 25i-NBOMe, known by it street name of “N-Bomb.” Now fallen out of favor, the drug had a spike in popularity four or five years ago, when it was sought out as a substitute for LSD, according to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. The drug sometimes leads to very extreme physical effects, with even minuscule amounts leading to seizures, cardiac and respiratory arrest, and death, according to the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
Medical examiner reports studied by the DEA, as well as news items out of Britain and Australia, reveal stories of violent behavior leading to death as a result of ingestion of 25i. Teens and young adults have died when the drug caused them to burst into violence, flinging themselves at poles or walls or tearing up the inside of a vehicle before dying with very little internal evidence of the drug’s presence.
In Montmorency County in 2016, Boldrey decided to try 25i. The drug was given to him by Hubbard as they celebrated their upcoming adventures – Hubbard’s impending departure for college and Boldrey’s entry into the U.S. Air Force.
Shortly after ingestion, Boldrey exploded into a rage. He stabbed Hubbard and struck him with a vehicle, then broke into the home of Atkinson, who died trying to defended his wife, Debbie Wells, and Jeffrey Bauer, who was also in the home. Wells and Bauer survived but were beaten badly.
Eyes were dabbed with Kleenex on both sides of the courtroom at the second hearing as Boldrey gave a statement to the court before his sentencing. At his last sentencing, he said he tried to minimize his behavior, distancing himself from the thing he had done.
Now, though, he wanted to take ownership of his flawed thinking and bad decisions, of the fear and hurt that he had caused to strangers and to people he loved.
“I caused a whole community to feel unsafe,” Boldrey said. “It should have never happened. And it’s my fault.”
Boldrey’s attorney, Dan White, shared that, while in prison, his client has agreed to help with a drug and violence awareness program, a law enforcement effort to keep children and young adults from making the kind of mistake Boldrey made.
Behind the defendant, his mother and father watched their son silently, knowing that, whatever Mack’s decision, their child would still walk out of the room wearing chains.

Eurovision 2023: #22 - #21
Mild like is not a zone I prefer to rest long in, so let's make the next two a package deal so that only 20 remain going into the new year!
Tumblr media
22. SERBIA Luke Black - "Samo mi se spava" 24th place
youtube
Decade Ranking: 63/116 [Above Fyr og Flamme, below TBA]
Spaaaaavaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaai
Tumblr media
But I am getting ahead of myself.
In the days leading up towards towards the rehearsals I got the feeling that Luke would only barely squeak by despite being both Serbian and reasonably well-liked by the fans. This came with the slow realization that "Samo mi se spava" is kind of cringe, oop. All memes eventually become stale, and that rate at which they age accelerates further if the music's kind of not good lol. Not everyone can have the eternal resilience of "In Corpore Sano".
Tumblr media
So yeah, I totes understand why the Latvia stans were pissed they missed out while Luke basically passed to the Grand Final based on flag. However, many acts sucked in the semis, so I'm not bothered if one I liked (sorta) qualified over one i did not (sorta).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not to get things twisted though, "Samo mi se spava" was serviceable for what it was, as a Melovin-lite combination of shock horror and an art major's irreverent graduation project. Once you've accustomed to the senseless krumpcrat choreo and the atonal mewling however, you just have to recognize Serbia's 2023 entry was the vanity project of an ageing emo twink . Do I enjoy it? Yes, but only as ~A Piece~ (not as "a song") and only in small enough doses. Take, a listen every four months.
All that said, there are two small things about "Samo Mi Se Spava" that I greatly enjoy.
(1) the frogmarches remain hilarious so let's enjoy that in gif form:
Tumblr media
What a great way to finish A Piece.
(2) I merely have to think of Luke to hear "SPAAAVAAAAI" and "HELLO?! GAyME OVuh" ring through my mind in his characteristic gaywhispervoice and that ALWAYS produces a chuckle. So ultimately, while "Samo mi se spava" was admittedly not very good, it does manage to lift my spirits somewhat, and for that I'm willing to carry it to 22nd in my list!
-----------------------------------------
Tumblr media
21. UKRAINE TVORCHI - "Heart of steel" 6th place
youtube
Decade Ranking: 62/116 [Above Luke Black, below Kalush Orchestra]
Yeah, Tvorchi did well for themselves. Given the war and the general air of misery surrounding last year's Vidbir (unironically a contender for worst NF this year, even under the circumstances) and the fact that Ukraine picked their most disappointingly heterosexual entry yet, there was no way "Heart of Steel" could become good. Like, who does this appeal to? What sort of person listens to this edgelordian church cabal, and thinks "ah, my favourite has arrived." Just the Musk fanboys, right?
Fortunately for us, Ukraine is the one Eurovision country that always understands the assignment. What do you do when your song below par? You provide a good show at least.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and it kinda nibbled.
...
...
Yeah, there's no punchline. Sorry but it's NYE, i cooked the family dinner by myself and you may think it's a small step to go from roasting broccoli to roasting mediocrities, but the latter action takes up too much thinking space for a brain semi-operating on sparkling wine that is trying to weave in and out of social conversation. Jeffrey sang well, I liked the presentation and it didn't drag the more enjoyable entries around it down, what else can a one ask for? It wasn't going to get any better than what we got. Count them lucky stars, and all that.
Fourth place in the televote is a VERY stupid result (this is more in range of a 14th placer if it were any other country) but let's not end the year on a sour rant. "Heart of steel" could have been a morose drag. Instead it was moderately bemusing. Upward and onward to better things.
THE RANKING
Tumblr media
CONGRATZ FOR MAKING THE TOP 20 to the following:
ALBANIA / ARMENIA / AUSTRALIA / AUSTRIA / AZERBAIJAN BELGIUM / CZECHIA / ESTONIA / FINLAND / FRANCE ICELAND / LITHUANIA / MALTA / MOLDOVA / POLAND PORTUGAL / SLOVENIA / SPAIN / SWEDEN / UK Some of you kind of don't deserve to~ ps: Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Delhi, the heart of India, is known for its culture and landmarks not only as a golden milestone but also for having thousands of immigration consultants. Considering these, the challenge of finding the best immigration consultants in Delhimight become quite overwhelming. It is an immigration story where a family's dream of migrating to Canada became a success, all thanks to the services provided by Aptech Visa, the best Canadian immigration Consultant in Delhi.
 A Family's Dream in Canada
"Meet the Sharma family. Like many Indian families, they have always dreamt of migrating to Canada—a place that epitomizes a high quality of life, rich job prospects, and a promising future for children. However, as they waded through the often-confound visa process and met with consultants less than satisfactory, their hopes started to dwindle. That's when they found Aptech Visa.
Mr. Sharma recalls vividly the day, "After months of tension, my friend suggested Aptech Visa, saying they are the best Canada immigration consultant in Delhi. It was with some reluctance that I decided to try them. It was a life-changing decision.
From the very first consultancy meeting, Aptech Visa was different from the rest. This was a team professional yet sympathetic to the needs of its clients. Instead of going on unnecessary jargon about immigration, they kept it simple by guiding Sharma on how to get Canada PR.
“They were very knowledgeable about the Canadian immigration process, and that impressed us the most. Each step, from documentation to submission, was clearly outlined. Unlike our previous experiences, they did not make any false promises. Instead, they gave us an actual timeline and let us know what to expect," Mrs Sharma reflected."
youtube
Why Aptech Visa is the Best Immigration Consultant in Delhi?
There are the following reasons that's why the Aptech visa considered the best Immigration consultant in Delhi

1. Successful Experience with the Canada Immigration Process
Aptech Visa has successfully helped over 10,000 families, such as those of the Sharmas, immigrate to Canada. With more than 15 years of knowledge and experience with the Canadian immigration system, whether it is through Express Entry, PNPs, or family sponsorships, they know how to get the job done quickly.
Australia PR and Canada PR Experts: Aptech Visa is particularly famous for mastering the Canada PR process, relied on by thousands of applicants.
2. Personalized Service
Different immigration consultants treat clients like another case number, but not Aptech Visa. They go the extra mile to ensure each client's unique situation is handled with care.
“Dedicated case managers, who answered our questions always, were assigned to us. It wasn't just about paperwork; they guided us through everything-right from documentation to visa interviews. We received unparalleled support." said Mrs. Sharma
3. Honest and Transparent
Probably, one major problem with immigration consultants is that they are not transparent. Aptech Visa differs from the rest as it is transparent and quite open at every step of the process.
No surprise charges: The Sharma’s, for sure, were relieved to know that Aptech Visa was transparent in terms of pricing. There were no hidden costs, without which they could have been 'caught' for surprise charges along the way.
4. Holistic Service A lot can be said about Aptech Visa since it runs the gamut from eligibility tests up to post-landing services. Indeed, more than an immigration consultant, she is a partner with whom one can build a new life abroad.
5. Customized Counseling:
Aptech Visa did not provide general counselling to the Sharmas. They help develop a plan tailored to their qualification and objective and apply through the best immigration program for their needs.
A Dream Fulfillment: Canada PR Approved!
It had been months, but finally, the Sharmas received that coveted news- their Canada PR approved! " It was a day we will never forget when we received the approval. Aptech Visa made our dream of moving to Canada come true," says Mrs. Sharma.
The Sharma’s are living happily in Toronto today-all thanks to the constant support from Aptech Visa. "You should go to Aptech Visa if you are looking for the best immigration consultants in Delhi for Canada. Their work is truly exceptional," says Mr. Sharma with a cheerful smile.
The whole immigration process to Canada is complex, but proper guidance makes their journey smooth and worthwhile. In the case of Sharma’s, it was a matter of difference when they decided to choose Aptech Visa. Its successful track record, personalized services, and commitment to transparency have given it a reputation as the best Canada immigration consultant in Delhi.
If you dream of a new life in Canada, then don't let it be a chance. Let Aptech Visa's dream become your mission. For more queries and concerns you can refer to https://www.aptechvisa.com/canada-pr, you can also write to us at [email protected] and you can give a call to our Canada Immigration Experts at 7503832132 / 928 928 9007

Hiya, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with your writing (especially because you don’t leave Gaz out 😌) and Was wondering if I could get a match up for one of the cod boys?
I use she/her pronouns and am probably what most people consider to be the bi gamer girl stereotype. My MBTI is E/INFP (just noticed we’re the same!) as I tend to swing wildly between intro and extroversion. I do enjoy being social but I’ve also got some pretty extreme anxiety. I’m not big into astrology but when people find out my big three are Aquarius/Aries/Aries they’re not surprised.
I’m an Aussie and am 170cm tall so I’m not used to being much shorter than most people (growing up I was a head taller than literally everyone so I may have developed a complex 😔) I played lots of sports growing up and am actually joining the navy soon.
My fashion sense mostly consists of Adam Sandler like attire or slutty club fit with docs. I love board games/video games/dodgeball etc and am wildly competitive. I hate cooking and suck at it completely, and my room always looks like a bomb site. I love roller coasters and the beach, but only if there’s waves. I have a degree in history/geography and am 100% a cat person. I have a care bear tattoo and would have more if I wasn’t broke. I’m a very physically affectionate person and I cry a lot over media and am very sensitive but not in a way that I’ll get upset over someone insulting me, more in a I’d cry if I stood on a cats tail. I’m very loud and once you get some alcohol in me I am the life of the dance floor even though I can’t dance.
Kyle "Gaz" Garrick
a/n aww thank you so much for requesting! i hate when people leave gaz out so yk I'LL always make sure he's included :) also love a fellow INTP!
How you met: Military You fanned yourself as you entered the large school building. Despite your Navy uniform consisting of a long white skirt and blouse, the Australian heat was making it unbearable. You had the unfortunate assignment of attending a career day at one of the local school's to talk about your unique career path. You were directed by the secretary to chat with a few other military personnel before the presentation. Eventually, you saw a friend from the Australian Army chatting with another man. As you approached, you noted that his uniform was significantly different than yours as indicated by the colors and adornments. "Private!" you exclaimed as he turned to you, "fancy seeing you here." You chatted regarding a few important life events before he directed your attention to the man next to him. "This is Sergeant Garrick," he introduced as you shook his hand, "Sergeant and previous Special Air Service member." You couldn't help but laugh slightly. "A Brit? What's he doing here?" you joked and Kyle returned with a smile. "Thought I see what your military is about," he began and you couldn't help but swoon with his pronunciation, "might make me consider joining myself." You continued to jab at the difference in your countries until your friend found himself in another conversation. You didn't mind being left with Kyle as it offered you the opportunity to discuss why you enlisted following your competitive nature and how you had previously gone to school for a history and geography degree. "So why are you here?" he asked but your explanation was cut off with the opening remarks from principal. You sat down next to Kyle, hoping you could continue you conversation over dinner.
A peek into your relationship: "You call this a beach?" you asked as you finally arrived at your destination. Your boyfriend, Kyle, laughed as you looked at the rocky shores of Brighton. While it was beautiful and you loved the pastel homes, it was far from what you knew back in Australia. "Trust me I would bring you here for more than just the beach, love," he reassured and directed you along the boardwalk. As you walked with your hands interlaced, you were led into a large game center. The color-technic lights of the various arcade games and crane machines lit the room as you adjusted from the bright sun outside. "Heard you were competitive," he joked with a smirk on your face and you knew today would be a challenge.
"Fuck me!" Kyle groaned as you won yet another round in Mario Kart. "For someone in the SAS, you sure don't have a lot of skills," you teased and collected your reward tickets. You and Kyle were evenly matched but it was clear your competitive spirit was putting you slightly ahead of the competition. As you wandered around, you saw a row of crane machines. "I hate those," you mumbled and it was as if a light turned on in Kyle's mind. He held your hand as you looked at each one, finally trying your luck with a machine full of Care Bears. As you complained over how they were a scam and impossible to win, a determined Kyle placed a token in and went to work. As you leaned over his shoulder, you were shocked when he picked up a large plush Care Bear and dropped it into the basket. "What the hell," you mumbled as he retrieved the price for you. "There are some things the Navy doesn't teach you," he beamed before kissing you on the cheek. The rest of the day you pondered a few things. First, what was the set of skills he had alluded to? and second, would it be possible to get another tattoo of this bear?
