Musieliśmy złamać przepisy i pójść pieszo. #omanlife #muscatdiaries #muscatoman🇴🇲🇴🇲🇴🇲 #robimypodroze #oman_traveller #mutrah #sultanspalace #muscatpeople #muscatdaily #strangeday #surpriseday #unexpectedmoments #funnymoments😂 #disabledvantravel #dealwithit #podróżekształcą #passporttravel #souk #mutrahsouk #disabilityawareness #wheelchairtravel #polakwpodróży #crazydays #ceasetheday #podróżekształcą #podrozujemy (w: Muscat Oman) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cot3YlVIEKr/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Discover the Wonders of Oman Fort: Journey through Time
Among the Middle east countries, one sparkling gem is the country of Oman. Its picturesque beaches and caves are a strong crowd-puller. The country proudly welcomes millions of tourists every year. All of them rave about the warm hospitality and exotic Oman Safari Tours they enjoyed. However, one beautiful aspect of Oman that is not so popularised is the forts that adorn its landscape. Not many people are aware that Oman is home to some of the best architectural marvels in that area. Here we will take you on a journey to some of Oman’s most majestic forts.
Nizwa Fort
Constructed in the 9th century, this ancient oman fort is the only one with a cylindrical tower. When there, don’t forget to have a look at their marvelous artifacts. This includes the various defense mechanisms that the fort was equipped with. Some interesting features you must not miss are the seven wells, multiple prisons, and huge grounds.
Adjacent to the fort is the Nizwa Souq, which is your market center in simple terms. The entire souq is divided into separate segments and is totally cut off from the rest of the city.
Join us on a journey through the historic city of Nizwa through this video: Nizwa Fort and Souq – Day 5 | Oman Day Trips | Oman Safari Tours
Bahla Fort
One of the oldest forts of Oman, it stuns with its massive size and defense mechanisms used. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the fort has walls and towers constructed on a sandstone base. Multiple rulers took over the fort and kept on adding to its features.
The entire Bahla Fort is divided into three areas. One is the Al Qasabah which is the oldest, the second Bait-Al-Hadith, constructed in the 1600s; the third is Bait-Al-Jabal which means Mountain house and was constructed in the 1700s.
Muttrah Fort
The Muttrah Fort is constructed on the top of a mountain, but its view is simply breathtaking. Dating back to the 16th century, this is also one of the oldest oman fort in Muttrah. Initially, the fort was constructed to stop any invasions from the Mountain area. Oman tour operators ensure that a visit to the fort is added to your list. With a huge visitor count, the fort is a perfect example of a place withstanding the forces of time to protect its city.
One place you absolutely cannot miss is the Mutrah Souq: Mutrah Souq, Oman Tour | Oman Day Trips | Oman Safari Tours
Jabreen Fort
The Jabreen Fort was constructed in 1873 and is probably the most well-kept fort here. Over the years, the fort remained an important center for education and fighting. The defense is three storied and has two towers along with numerous beautifully designed rooms and halls. The interiors of the fort are very artfully done. In fact, the fort interiors reflect the charm of ancient Oman with colorful calligraphy and design adorning the walls.
Ar Rustaq Fort
The Ar Rustaq fort is located at a distance of two hours from Muscat. Its picturesque architecture will transport you to the era gone by. The fort was constructed in pre-Islamic times. It has four towers, gorgeous architectural features, and a mosque. There is wood used in the construction, and the carving designs are a pleasure to watch.
An ancient falaj flows beneath the fort, whereas the tombs of Imam Nasir and his family are a part of the central courtyard. Surrounded by lush date trees, wadis, and splendid historical sites, make this a place you should not miss on your Muscat trip.
Mirani and Al Jalali Fort
Both the Mirani and Al Jalali forts are rather ancient and are now closed for the public’s viewing. However, you can have a look at their marvelous structure from the outside. Constructed by the Portuguese, Mirani and Al Jalali Fort were actually defense fortresses. The best time to view them is in the evening when the area offers splendid sights.
Fort of Sohar
The Fort of Sohar is around 200 kilometers north of Muscat and is popular because of the history of Sohar City. The place has archeological history associated with it which dates its origins to the 14th century. A major port city Sohar was a significant trading point for countries like China and India etc. Sohar Fort has freshwater wells and is enclosed by a wall.
In 1643 the fort was conquered by Imam Nasir Bin Murshid, who promptly banished the Portuguese from that area. Post that also, the fortress witnessed many wars, sieges, and battles. At present, the fort has been closed for renovations, but once it opens, people can delve into its magical history.
Al Hazm Castle
The Al Hazm castle is located 15 minutes from the Ar Rustaq fort. Its cannon galleries, gates, and dungeons are a sight to behold. Imam Sultan Bin Saif ordered the construction of this oman fort in 1711. Apart from the imposing features, the viewers are left spellbound by the massive wooden gate.
Authentically carved, the gate was built in Surat and brought to Oman with great difficulties. Once inside the fort, you will be stunned by the vast dungeons, wall inscriptions, and falaj. It is said that Imam Sultan Bin Saif and his successors were later buried in the fort.
Summing Up
Oman overall is a complete dream destination. However, the forts hold the key to its mystical past. When you look for Oman packages, ensure that you incorporate some or all of them. Each one of them reflects a unique culture and heritage that the region boasts of. Not to mention the architectural history and carvings that take you back to the years gone by. Being there, you would realize that one visit is not enough to explore the intriguing past of Oman.

Gate Valve supplier in Oman
Middleeast valve is one of the best Gate valve supplier in Oman . We supply to cities like Ibri, Sur, Muscat, and Mutrah.
A gate valve is a type of valve used to control the flow of fluids (liquids or gases) by using a gate or wedge-like disc that moves perpendicular to the flow path to either block or allow the passage of the fluid.
The main function of a gate valve is to provide a tight shutoff, effectively stopping the flow of fluid through the pipeline when the valve is fully closed, and allowing unrestricted flow when the valve is fully open. Gate valves are commonly used in applications where the fluid flow needs to be completely shut off, such as in water supply systems, oil and gas pipelines, industrial processes, and more.
Gate valves consist of several main components, including the body, gate (wedge), stem, actuator, and seats. Here's how they work:
Open Position:
In the open position, the gate (wedge) is fully retracted into the valve body, allowing the fluid to flow through the valve with minimal obstruction. The gate moves perpendicular to the direction of the fluid flow. The valve is opened by turning the valve stem (either manually using a handwheel or with an actuator) which is connected to the gate.
Closing Position:
To close the valve, the stem is turned in the opposite direction, causing the gate to move down into the flow path of the fluid. As the gate descends, it gradually restricts the flow until the valve is completely closed. The gate makes contact with the valve seats located at the bottom of the valve body, forming a tight seal that prevents any further flow.
Middleeast valve is the greatest Gate valve supplier in Oman and are known for their ability to provide a tight seal and low pressure drop when fully open. However, they might require more turns to fully open or close compared to other valve types like ball valves. It's important to use gate valves in appropriate applications and avoid using them for flow regulation where frequent adjustments are necessary.

Sneak peek into the Secret Quarter
An enclosed quarter next to the Mutrah Souk, Al Lawatia is an ethnocultural community made up of prosperous merchants residing in Muscat. The quarter comprises astonishing townhouses constructed in the Arabian style. It's open to the public again, but before you go in, you need to check in with the guards at the gate.
Climb up the Mutrah Fort
The Portuguese constructed Mutrah Fort in 1580, and although the fort itself isn't very interesting, we will suggest taking the 250 stairs up to the top for the amazing views. You'll be able to take in breathtaking panoramas of the city and its bays and get a feel for the area's rich past as well. The rugged coves and the intimidating mountains in the distance on an oceanic peninsula. Just amazing!
The Royal Opera
The Royal Opera House, Oman's primary venue for the performing arts since its 2011 opening, is likewise a stunning structure, resplendent in its use of marble. The white edifice has some cutting-edge technology that makes it superior to traditional opera houses. Get tickets to a ballet or concert and enjoy the opulence for a night on the town.
Dolphin Watching
Amazing experiences with animals are plentiful in Oman, and seeing dolphins is must see in Muscat. All of Oman's coastline is beautiful, with a nice variety of rocky coves and sandy beaches, but if you take a boat ride off the coast of Muscat, you can see the forts that dot the cliffs, the Sultan's Palace, and the dolphins swimming alongside your vessel. You can't find a better way to begin your day in Oman than this! It is amongst the unique things to do in Muscat.
Have Some Afternoon Tea
The Al Bustan Palace, which sits on its own harbor, is a landmark in Muscat. What's not to like about a place with magnificent architecture and amenities, a first-rate beach, and breathtaking scenery? Even if you aren't staying at the hotel, you may pay a visit and have an afternoon tea with traditional Omani sweets in the central atrium. Locals and foreigners frequent this hotel to unwind and hear about the latest social scene in the area. For travelers, this place is Muscat worth visiting.
Street Food in Souk
If you are looking to try some Omani street food in your budget with mouthwatering flavors, then you must head to the street near Hotel Radisson Blu. The entire street is home to numerous cafes that offer traditional Middle East food. If you are visiting the place, then we suggest having Yemeni dishes, which are known for their extravagant flavors.
Cruise around
Except wandering about Muscat on foot, what else could be better? Exploring Muscat via boat! A traditional dhow leaves Muscat every day at sunset for scenic tours. Stroll along the seaside Corniche of Mutrah and take in sights like the Al Alam Palace and the Al Bustan Palace.
It's fun to spend time on the water and get a new perspective. Excursions to see dolphins set sail from Muscat every day are a must thing to do in Oman.
Qaboos Grand Mosque
The Sultan Qaboos Great Mosque is a must-see when in Muscat. There's no denying the mosque's aesthetic value and lavish design.
Even if you're not a practicing Muslim, you should still visit this mosque since it's one of the biggest in the world and a sight to see. Sultan Qaboos presented an example of contemporary Islamic architecture to his country in 2001, during his 30th year as monarch. Millions of worshippers a day have been coming here since then.
Everyone is welcome to attend the mosque between 8 and 11 in the morning, regardless of their religious beliefs.
Mutrah Souk
The Mutrah Souk must be visited at least once by each tourist in Muscat. It's what brings most visitors to Mutrah, and it's one of the most visited sites in Oman. It is the primary attraction of Mutrah and a top tourist destination in the whole Sultanate of Oman.
Here you may visit a real, authentic souk on the Arabian Peninsula. A souk is an "Arabian market or bazaar." Although reading about them is interesting, seeing one in person is another experience. The Mutrah Souk is a maze of winding streets after you pass through the entrance. There are several small stores here selling perfume, jewelry, and authentic Omani apparel.
Frankincense incense is unique to Oman and has deep cultural roots since it is distilled from the resin of certain plants.
Epilogue
Taking a Big Bus sightseeing tour, where you may get on and off at any stop along the route, is one of the best ways to view this historic city. The ancient domes of the Muttrah Souk, the more contemporary Royal Opera House, and the highest clock in the nation, located in Muscat's parliament building, are just a few of the many modern and historic architectural pleasures strewn around Oman's beautiful city. Explore unique things to do in Muscat and capture your lifetime moments. Faszinierende Geheimnisse Omans: Ihr ultimativer Ferienplaner
