And honestly, Lillie wanted to go. Her mother was making an effort to spend time with her, it was a step in the right direction. Still, she had promised Violet they'd go trick-or-treating beforehand, and she felt guilty letting her down now...

"Um, would you like to come to the party? I know there will be plenty of candy and other sweets."

“Please have Shiron use blizzard.” Poor Violet is sweltering in the sun. She is not made for hot weather fox ears and tail or no. Human or kitsune Violet your choice

"It is rather hot today, isn't it?" Lillie's comfortable enough in her sun dress, but she nods to Shiron anyway, signaling for the ice-type to use Blizzard. The Vulpix jumps out of her arms, opening her mouth wide and firing a Blizzard up at the sky. The clouds turn dark, and soon enough snow starts to fall around the two girls.

"Y-Yes... Of course you can." Lillie's admittedly nervous as well - Ultra Beasts are dangerous, and she's not as good a trainer as her friends - but she tells herself that she needs to be strong for Violet's sake.

She manages a smile, resting a hand on Violet's shoulder. "We'll be safe as long as we stick together!"

“I’m sorry to bother you, but I’m afraid I’m a bit lost. I didn’t realize Lumiose City was so big...”
