Due for a little stop, respite was found at the side gate of Mondstadt, more specifically, this little pier full of boxes & who know what else people keep here when wanting to go fishing.

The lack of people, was something to be thankful of. It made her settle unnoticed atop a box, even if already self aware it might not last. She, after all, stand out like a sore thumb but eh, if something happens, its nothing the weapon can't handle.

For now, it is a pretty calming area, noisy ducks aside.

''Oh gracious...'', one can almost hear the exasperation from the sentient blade that stays afloat in spite of what was set off.

If she did have a face, she would be facepalming right now. Doesn't mean Kimikurai isn't annoyed about how much warnings she's uttered before.

Name: Kimikurai (translate to Righteous Dark)

Affiliation: Fled Blacksmiths (former), Independent (now)

Origin: was a byproduct sword created by the fleeing blacksmiths in Snezhnaya, from the fallen Kaedehara Clan. This sentient blade was meant to be the original sword from Kazuha’s story but it didn’t go as planned as she was left to be some weapon on display. Though having gained sentience, like the other sword, Kimikurai did not become cursed. She did obtain all sort of abilities however.

Given, she is not a living being, the effects of Irminsul’s changes didn’t affect her, therefore, Kimikurai remembers the Clan’s history as it is rather than how it got modified.

With the last smith’s death, she left this wintery land and simply roams wherever.

There is a sound, mayhaps akin to a sigh, leaving the blade, once more showcasing how no ordinary sword he wound up owning at this point.

''Regardless, i would have struck down such measly foe for you as to avoid becoming this much of a... mess'', Kimikurai says, noting the dirt spots all over him from the explosion just a moment prior.

Then again, it might be adequate for the other to clean up, ''i trust you don't intend on heading back to get the bounty's sum in this state''.

Just a weapon looking out for its wielder, really.

People really are going to come up with all sort of excuses to save themselves from a scolding, much less from a floating, sentient sword.

''No, i am quite certain it was in plain view'', and she didn't get to turn trajectory before, well, this.
