hello hello! this is kinda messy and kinda sucks BUT a sneak peak of the current designs i have in mind for a project me and a friend are talking about…

these three are based on the “huntsman”. yy’knoww the guy the evil queen sends off to kill snow white? heh.

these are wips! meaning these will probably change in the future. for now though, i hope yall like em… and i hope you guys can connect the dots when it comes to their designs and what im referencing hehe

Dust has one of those service dogs that helps him know what is a hallucination and what isnt , also helping with his anxiety attacks

Alright what if we pretended like the MTT's names were like callsigns given to them by Nightmare for the sole sake of solidifying their roles under his control. I'm very delirious right now, yes my COD fixation is bleeding into this, just. Hold on.

Their names are given to them to differentiate them from being simply 'Sans', because for Dust and Horror, they'd likely continue to be 'Sans' if they could help it-- or for Horror at the very least.

Killer has actualized his given callsign as himself, he is no longer Sans, he is Killer and the role he played as the Player's puppet, the role he played under Nightmare's cruelty. He refuses to call himself 'Sans', and yet, in Phase 1 he can't help the helpless urge to become Sans again. He doesn't want this, but he's not sure what more he is anymore. Can he be any more? Is there anything left to be?

Dust's callsign was gained from the obvious monster dust that always clung to his clothes, his slippers leaving faint dusty prints wherever he went. Sometimes, he's called Murder, just for the sake of drilling his role into his head. Either one leaves him with mixed emotions he can never quite decipher. His thoughts like fine powder, in some odd maelstrom in his mind.

Horror never wanted to be called anything other than his name. He doesn't even want to be here. He's still 'Sans' at his core, even if there's barely anything left of him under layers of starvation and psychosis that leaves his mind wracked trying to hold onto who he was. Does it matter? He's 'Horror', he's a horrific husk of who he once was, and he'd already damned his AU to continue playing that part. At least, that's all he can see anymore, through the bleary vision of a blood-soaked eye.

They're all still Sanses, *sans the Sans.

i hate killermare too that shit is terrible. literally abusive incarnate. its not even mutually toxic canonically killer is just trying to survive. lowk hate any of the mtt shipped with nm theyre all too sweet in their own regards for that :(

I’m glad other people also understand that “mutually toxic” Killermare doesn’t even work or make sense and isn’t really possible, given..everything about the two of them.

That’s the narrative that people like Nightmare would push to convince their victims to stay, or to make the victim feel like they’re “crazy” and the one actually in the wrong, or to paint them in a bad light to discourage them from asking or seeking out help—if not actively discourage people from trying to help the victim at all.

On that topic though, I find it a little strange (interesting?) that you’ll be hard pressed to find Dust x Nightmare or Horror x Nightmare content outside of a Bad Sans Poly fic. Killer is the only one in the MTT exclusively and consistently shipped with Nightmare…I just think that’s a little curious. but anyway yeah they should totally ditch Nightmare ✌️.
