Disassembly Drone Body Langauge part 1

Mostly wings and some tail

probably gonna add some more unique ones once i figure this out properly. hrmmm

my important ones are the upwards wing pose being territorial / courting, and the tail wag being happy or on edge.

Some extras that i might draw later if i figure out how idk:

They will naturally wrap their tails around people they like in a wide arc. It’s something that could go unnoticed, even by the DD, as they just do it subconsciously. You can figure out who a DD is protective over this way.

Pointing their wings outwards but flattening them (rotating them into a horizontal pose instead of a vertical one) and crouching down a little is seen as being submissive. Dominant ones will normally have their wings positioned wider and vertical.

Also some elaborations because i like talking about shit i make up:

Sometimes when courting they’ll shake their wings a little bit to make them appear glittery or more flashy, which makes some soft clinking noises.

Their tails abide by dog and cat-like mannerisms. They wag when happy, tuck them under their legs when scared or worried, will slowly wave them around when agitated.

N does this unique (and cute!) thing where he holds his tail in his hands when he’s worried like some stuffed animal. kind of

Laugh Headcannons

You ever hear the headcanon that every time N laughs, there's a 1 in 10 chance it's the most psychotic, maniacal laugh you've ever heard?

Well I'm here to give a bunch more laugh headcanons because yeah.

Uzi tries to sound as insane as possible, but if she trusts you enough, she'll let you hear what her real adorable laugh sounds like. source: Serial Designation N.

J isn't trying to sound like a cocky supervillain; that's just her.

Lizzy dosn't really laugh, she just gets a really big smile on her face. If something is really that funny to her, she'll giggle a little bit. She tries to hide both of these things.

V is a mix of both Uzi and Lizzy, she tries to sound evil but if she trusts you and you get a bit lucky, she might let a smile or a giggle slip. (Envy, Vuzi, Vizzy, ect shippers come get your food)

The evil laugh comes to Doll naturally.

Cyn/The AS can laugh normaly, but there's a 50/50 chance it comes out as GIGGLE or HA HA.

Yeva does have a normal laugh, but considering she's mute, it's silent.

Small Muder Drones Headcanon

J likes dolls.

Not the character Doll; like actual toys and figurines often played with or collected by children and adults alike.

We… honestly don’t a lot of her character in the canon series, and what we do see is kind of limiting. But, we do get some additional information of what she’s like in the two product launch commercials she stars in. and what do we see her doing in both of them?

Play with dolls. Like, look at this and try to convince me she isn’t at least interested in them.

While she does have her strict, adult-like business persona, in the ads we do see hints of her being just as much of a goob and having weird interests as much as the other drones. She has an edgy OC that probably rivals one of Uzi’s for crying out loud. I think that, back in the manor, she delegated taking care of any dolls or toys Tessa had to herself and took it very seriously. And potentially as a disassembly drone, she fixed up any dolls she came across but didn’t take them back with her to the spire. Got to keep that professional look, and professional robots don’t play with or have dolls.

She’d probably also know some things about doll history and, assuming there’s at least archived versions of YouTube videos, watched a lot of doll designs and redesigns and commentary on different lines and such. She’s probably know about and have respect for some of the business savvy doll creators like Ruth Handler, creator of Barbie, as well as the other historical creators that were erased from history thanks to Handler and Mattel’s ruthlessness (pun intended); like Beatrice Alexander, founder of Madame Alexander which is still made today, Jennie Graves, and Nancy Ann Abbott. She’d probably even like a few special plushy dolls as well, though probably not as much as the fashion or action ones.

I’ve just been thinking a lot about her recently, and I had this idea when I was thinking of her playing with the J and Cynessa animatez in the recent merch ad. It wouldn’t leave my mind and now you can try and pry this theory from my cold dead hands.

⟢ Upon discovering that you’re an age regressor, she was surprisingly understanding and oddly excited about the revelation. Why? Because she has someone to drag around everywhere, of course! You’re her new little sidekick.

⟢ She falls into the edgy big sister archetype, keeping you safe whilst dragging you into mischief. These ventures often end up with you acquiring some type of injury, but big sister Uzi has plenty of cool band-aids ready (and apologetic kisses but keep your mouth shut).

⟢ Her pet names for you are exclusively ‘kid’, ‘kiddo’ and the occasional ‘little planet destroyer’. In conjunction, Uzi really likes it when you refer to her as ‘big sis’ but she’ll also tolerate ‘Zizi’.

⟢ Uzi doesn’t tolerate cranky ones well, so if you’re being fussy it’s right to the time out corner with you. She’s pretty easy to persuade - give her an apology with some big puppy eyes and you’ll be off that step in no time. It’s difficult for her to be stern with you.

⟢ She has the best stuffies in town! Ravens, wolves, skele cats, dragons, the coolest plushies you’ve ever seen. Be nice to your big sis and she’ll let you borrow one of your choice for sleepy time.

⟢ That being said - she loves playing with them with you. She gives all the plushies stupid little voices to make you giggle. She thinks her British accent is incredible and perhaps you're inclined to agree.

⟢ Need a nap? No problem; she’ll let you sleep in her bed and simultaneously watch over you and her anime. She throws a bunch of cute, cozy blankets over you for extra measure.

⟢ She holds your hand at all times. Whether it’s playing outside or going on another one of her ventures, her hand is glued to yours no matter what’s happening. If you let go, even for a second, she’s quick to notice and rushes to grab you. It can be annoying, Uzi is well aware of it actually, but she just wants to make sure you’re safe.

⟢ If you have a biting fixation she’ll let you chew on something, primarily her tail when the Solver begins to irritate her. In fact, if anyone annoys Uzi, she will command you to bite them as if you were an attack dog. If you do what you’re told she’ll let you bring one of her plushies outside on your next trip.

⟢ You wanna watch cartoons? It’s a good thing that Uzi pirated a bunch of cartoons alongside her anime; you have choices upon choices and she’ll gladly watch them all with you.

Headcanon time!

Uzi always censors her swearing egg: “frick” “frickin” because she has parental advisory as we’ve seen in the begging of ep 8

Post final (after Uzi defeated the solver) she BEGGED nori to remove it, and it took her a while to accept the fact her daughter is all grown now and can swear lol

I thought of the cutest thing

The drones aren’t immune to talking in their sleep, making noise in their sleep, and even sleep walking.

N:

N does have a very very slight sleep walking issue. It’s rare in occurrence but it can happen. It’s easier to tell he’s sleep walking vs a human sense his visor reads “sleep mode” but he’s up and wandering around.

N also has a strange issue of kicking in his sleep when he’s laying down. It only happens when he’s sleeping laying down and never when he’s hanging by his tail. Uzi found out he’s a ninja in his sleep when she was woken up with a kick to the middle of her back.

N also makes noise in his sleep in a far more frequent occurrence. He’s known for admitting a murder drones purr in his sleep, a noise that sounds as if he’s growling. He also squeaks in his sleep from time to time.

V:

V isn’t known for making noise in her sleep, that almost never happens. She swats anyone near her in her sleep. She also tends to jerk and twitch in her sleep. Other than that everything else is normal.

J:

J talks in her sleep. It’s just little words here and there. Sometimes she starts to purr in her sleep and other times she will laugh or giggle.

Cyn:

Cyn rarely slept at all but when she did she tended to giggle in her sleep. Almost like some kind of messed up warning she made these clawing grabbing motions with her hands in her sleep, alluding to the slaughter and pain she would cause with those same hand motions later. She also tended to drool a lot in her sleep, drooling and gnashing her teeth like she was dreaming about eating. It always freaked Tessa out

Uzi:

Uzi sits up in her sleep a lot. She dosent get up and walk around or anything she just sits up. She tends to stay sat up for a minute to about 3 minutes before flopping back down. She never wakes up when she sits up, she’s still asleep. She also twitches in her sleep from time to time. A little finger or hand twitch, little foot twitch.

Doll:

Doll tends to grunt or whimper in her sleep. She frequently has nightmares and the noises she makes are that of fear. She’s also known for making a sound that sounds like someone dragging a cardboard box across a concrete floor, wich is the sound of her grinding her teeth in her sleep. She also snores, the only drone to snore. Doll also had a habit of sleeping on her side and rocking herself to sleep, rocking back and forth while still laying on her side if that makes any sense.

Thad:

Thad talks in his sleep but only if someone starts talking to him. Normally he’s completely quiet but once someone starts talking to him he will start sleepily talking back in a nonsensical conversation. He wont remember the conversation when he wakes up however

Nori:

Nori makes horrific solver noises in her sleep. These noises sound like metal screeching on metal, giggling, clicking, hissing, teeth clacking, a strange low toned warbling sound. She bit a lot in her sleep as well. She often bit Khan in their sleep but it wasn’t just him! She would bite her own lips and hands, the pillows, the blankets, etc etc

Teacher:

He makes this very soft humming noise in his sleep. It’s short and happens every now and then.

Just learned that sometimes circuit boards have hidden messages or drawings engraved in them

NEW HEADCANNON UNLOCKED...drones can have these in their circuitry. It's the robot equivalent of a secret tattoo

A few Christmas murder drones heacanon:

Pre-murder drones:

N, V and J used to celebrate Christmas with Tessa a lot.

Uzi doesn't give a f about Christmas unlike Khan who always gives her a "How to build a door for beginners" book as a gift.

Tessa always gives N, V and J Christmas hats that they'll never wear.

Even if Uzi doesn't give a f about Christmas, she'll be upset if she isn't invited to a Christmas party.

Post-murder drones:

N always begs V and Uzi to celebrate Christmas with him.

Nori gave Uzi her headphones as a gift because she forgot it was Christmas

J has a timer when Christmas starts and says to herself merry Christmas and to Tessa's helmet that she found "merry Christmas, Tessa." She silently wishes she is celebrating Christmas with the gang

Uzi always gives N robo-dogs as a gift, meanwhile N always gives her kisses, hugs and drawings as a gift. (He doesn't know what to give her)

N once gave V a Christmas-pullover he made himself, now V has it always on when it is Christmas.
