AKA, enough anons send me stuff to react to in character on munday that I wanna shamelessly indulge in it to the rest of the Pokeask Community. :D Inspired partly by Fern's Munday Doodles and our talks in DMs.

Guidelines for these, I guess? Or just what to expect:

None of this is canon! It's a shitpost bubble. An amalgam of time and space.

In a nutshell; think of something for my characters to react to! Can be something silly, something dramatic (but keep it light-hearted), or both at the same time. Take this chance to ask/ show them things that could break the canon. USHER IN PURE CHAOS. Bonus points if it involves multiple characters of mine, I really love writing banter.

You can also involve your character(s) in the fun; bonus points if they met at least once! Pokeask OCs only.

I'll primarily be writing for these! If doodles are done in response, however? I might respond with a doodle of my own.

These are being done for fun, so what's written may not be entirely polished, if that makes sense.

💻 - so many! I will give a shoutout to the ones i have had for the longest time: @headstrongblake is the oldest friend i still have on here! we met in The 100 fandom once upon a blue moon almost 10 years ago and we're still friends! love her to the moon and back <3 ! @somewherebetweenrage is one of my closest real life friends and has been my rp buddy for many many years as well <3 she even made a hotd verse for her Loki so we could continue interacting after i lost my love for wanda. @hebled is another one of those amazing people I have known for 3+ years and adored, same goes for @razorfst who has followed me across blogs and vice versa. @alyafae loved me for my marvel and now stayed for my hotd :D ! @murkyhazed is another gem i have been mutuals with for many years <3 honorable mention to my longest friend in the hotd fandon @sparedson my darling Reese, who is also a dear friend outside the rpc!

Simy I know we only really talked in depth once or twice but it was an absolute BLAST talking to you!! You have such cool ideas and you're so creative! I thought you were so sweet and it was fun to bounce off of you and it really made me excited about what we might do!

Eerie is an absolutely fascinating character, too. I think it's clear how much love and effort you put into them, and how much respect and work you put into showcasing their culture and how important it is to them! I love seeing the pieces of it throughout her story and little moments and how it's handled. It is also beyond hard to write a nuanced character, especially one that is not known for kindness to many because some people will not be able to handle the coarseness-- but you stay true to your vision for Eerie, and allow them to be traumatized and hurt and to struggle with things that make it difficult to connect to others easily, and i think that's amazing. I love Eerie as a character and I love watching them do their best, and I will enjoy seeing those changes over time as they connect to others and their experiences have an effect. I think you write them so wonderfully, and I really do love them!

I'm so excited for the chance for the muses to meet too! Whatever comes of it, I hope it'll be fun, and I hope we can keep interacting! And your art is just chef's kiss-- the design elements you incorporate in so many pieces are rad as all get out! I love seeing your art on my dash and just staring at it haha. You're amazing and I'm glad to vibe on the dash with you and do more in the future :3 !!!!

munday asks! (unprompted but still cool!)

Not a problem at all, I'm actually flattered you sent this in! Truthfully I feel like a very boring person hence not doing a lot of munday stuff but since you asked, I'd be happy to talk about the silly little things I do! There's the usual stuff like reading, cooking and walking the dog but one obscure thing I like doing? Finding stuff while out on long walks.

Here's something I actually found today while walking to town to get some pinkies for R.orschach! This poor squashy Donatello had been dropped into some leaf litter close to the bus stop so I took him home and gave him a good soaking in some warm water and washing up liquid. Cleaned up a treat after that and now I don't know what to do with him. I've found quite a few things over the years since there are a lot of touristy places and kids drop shit all the time so here's a small collection of stuff I've taken back home after such finds.

No idea who the little girl is, maybe a rubber Anna from Frozen? There's a type of seadragon thing, a Winnie the Pooh spinning head thing with a bunch of different expressions when you press his heart, a plastic mountain lion(?), a hippo with snapping jaws and what I think is a Jurassic World Mosasaurus (even has a glow in the dark skeleton inside!) So yeah, I'm a bit of a packrat and just like to bring things home - pretty rocks, feathers, flowers and cuttings and the stuff kids drop since I'm sure I could donate it to charity at some point but I just like watching the hoard grow at this point. 😅 Keep your eyes open when you go out, sometimes you'll stumble across the most unexpected things!

- ZODIAC SIGN: Leo/Virgo cusp and I absolutely live up to it. I have never felt like I'm solely a Leo or solely a Virgo. I'm a combination of both.

- HOBBIES: Writing, reading, watching a lot of TV and movies (sometimes for work, sometimes not), cosplay and fan conventions, fashion (especially luxury accessories and classic cuts and patterns. Though much of my style inspo comes from France and Italy! I love a timeless look with a nod to retro fashions, especially from the 50s-70s), visiting cafes, and dreaming of travel.

- LAST FILM / SHOW: I'm currently watching Only Murders in the Building with my husband and we're loving it! A few of my family members grew up and/or lived on the Upper West Side of Manhattan so seeing all of the familiar architecture is entertaining. As well as the murders, the character personalities, etc. I still don't believe Steve Martin and Martin Short's characters are heterosexual in this show and it should be 'Selena Gomez and her two gay adoptive uncles' but I digress.

- RECENT READS: I finished House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas at the very beginning of February and I've had a book hangover since then! Not that I was 100% satisfied with the ending of Crescent City but it's been hard to get into something new. I've started book 1 in the Crowns of Nyaxia series, The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent, but I haven't managed to finish it or its sequel yet. After that, I'll probably go back to finishing the Letters of Enchantment duology by Rebecca Ross, The Cruel Prince series by Holly Black, or the Hades and Persephone saga by Scarlett St. Clair. I'm tempted to finally dive into some Leigh Bardugo works, some V.E. Schwab, or start Katee Robert's Neon Gods series.

I have 166 books on my Kindle and I've finished maybe 50 of those so far, if it's any indication on how long my TBR list is. And I haven't even mentioned my historical, contemporary, and/or gothic romance picks on that list...

I really love books, y'all.

- FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I got married in November 2022 but I'm finally taking my honeymoon next month in April 2024. My job takes most of the blame for this, but I'm very close to securing a promotion soon (which means I'll be able to assign some of my work to others!).

That said, a lot of April will be a long hiatus from this blog. I'll be coming back to write when I've returned, but leading up to the trip, two weeks on the trip, and coming back and catching up with everything means much of April will be queued aesthetic posts around here.

That said, I'm so ready for London, Paris, and Disneyland Paris!

☣ Have you ever rp'd with someone you knew for a fact was abusive but tried to give them a chance/to make up your own opinion on the roleplayer? Did they change or did you understand what people were talking about?

No not really. I mean I didn’t realize they were toxic until a few years later but it was only towards me outside they were miss popular on their secret blogs and what not.

I’ve been in many fandoms and so far all of them to a degree aren’t opening and accepting. I CAN tell you from my experience that the Marvel rpc is toxic as fuck as is the FFXV rpc or what is left of it is filled with cliques. ASoIaF rpc is also full of cliques and bullies (my ex abuser included) who will ostracize you for adhering to the book canons because people don’t seem to read or research anymore and take what’s on television as be all end all of canon

I mean, I've been through some doozies in the past idk is it like 11 years or something I've been here by now, but honestly the worst thing has usually been down to my own flaws. Top of the list is probably the times I've hurt people I love chasing after something I'm indulging in that probably isn't good for me in the first place, putting my opinion where it doesn't belong, or by mishandling relationships that I can't recognise aren't working early enough. I push myself for too long at times, assuming I'm the problem, instead of calling things quits much sooner.

Do mun relationships count as 'rp-wise'? If they do, it's generally whenever other people's feelings have got hurt whoever's fault it may be.

If we're talking literally the role-play itself, it's gonna be a tie between my muses going through things I didn't feel comfy with in retrospect; people forcing things on my muses that I have no choice but to hurt the mun's feelings over by rejecting it; that one time on RolePages involving a pregnant vampire's breastmilk; and when I feel stuck between another mun's dialogue to the point of emotional distress.

Who is an author that inspires you?

I have several authors that inspire me, I think the biggest inspiration comes from Jenny May-Nguyen. She's a German author who writes fantasy novels and she's written one of my favorite books of all time.

Rick Riordan is very up there, along with Jonathan Stroud ans Josephine Angelini. They initially inspired me to write my own stories.

Leigh Bardugo and Samantha Shannon because I started going into more research about how to write disability and inclusivety.
