31/3 I finally am getting the hang of the digicam I had for ages but never really used out of fear of being bad at taking photos, I realised over time it isn't bad to start out being bad at a hobby, something that calms you down and lets you enjoy life.

I feel this is a trip down memory lane, something me some 10 years ago would love to just absorb and for some odd reason, bury it deep down and suddenly feel the same rush years later.

Intro post +other things!

Hello hi and welcome! this blog is something that popped into my head some time ago and I realised that its long overdue that I started this lil project! I currently run a studyblr called @studying-with-k which is usually a record of my academia life and stuff around it! so I think an introduction is in order!

My name is K, I am 22 years old and I am currently working on myself and becoming someone who wants a peaceful life but also wants to wander the world and experience different things.

I want to live a "slice of life-esque" life and this blog is to highlight those days in that kinda way and keep that dream going.

Thus, this blog is going to be a sort of collection of my hobbies outside academia! those mainly been travelling, my journey in the world of antiquarian books and pen-palling.

This space is going to be treated like a little digital journal for all my experiences; the good, the bad and the ugly. As with such things I will be putting the right trigger warnings when needed and this blog is going to be an 18+ minors DNI blog.

Also, for various reasons my personal information will be under lock and key and any person that appears in any of the photos will have their faces blurred out for their safety unless they give me consent!

As for the pen-paling bit I always welcome people who want to pen pal with me! however, I would like to converse with you before I disclose sensitive information!

As for the camera I plan on just using my old digicam that I got ages ago but realised that now that's a perfect tool for taking pictures about this lil project. So I'm going to be learning how to play around with camera settings too.
