Piercings / Tattoos? : I have both my earlobes pierced and I was going to get my belly button pierced at some point, but I never did cause lack of money. I also wanted to get some tattoos as well, but that's pretty much the same situation as the piercings.

Hi Mun right now i'm unsure to throw this idea at you off anon. So please respond whenever you see this or able too reply? I'm really tempted to made a code geass rp / hangout group based in Discord. I did go and check your blog and saw you have done this before when the fandom was at it's highest activity. But i still wish there was more of us somewhere at this current time. What's your thoughts on this? Would you be interested? I would love to hear from you about this as i can't start unless it's a good idea / and with any ideas or help. if you read this and reply thank you.

Hi! You can call me Kaito, and this was a nice ask to return home from work to, honestly, as Code Geass is still my favorite anime and the reason I haven't changed my url since like...2011 or 2012(Yes, cxdemusings is code geass related).

I'm sorry this was answered hours later than when you sent it!!

And, unfortunately, hype for Code Geass in the rp sphere has gone done a lot. General interest is the lowest it's been, due to lack of content and it just being one of those anime--while still highly regarded--that can easily fade into the background, overshadowed by other anime that have 'good animation/good graphics'.

I can't count how many times I've tried to revive the community by suggesting characters to mutuals, or just generally talking about it, so the only way I can keep using my muses are typically doing regular crossovers, and AU crossovers. But regardless...crossovers.

So if you wanted to start that Code Geass rp discord group, it would be very small, I can already tell you that. I do know one other roleplayer on here that has a Suzaku, and another Suzaku that's basically nonexistent because she's restricted to mobile-only and feels insecure about it(and also disappears quickly from discord convos...like I do).

I suppose the one thing you can do, now that you've found a code geass roleplayer(*cough* me), is just start roleplaying, maybe people will get interested? Maybe they won't.

...It's just one of those series that people now either get turned off by the 'old' art style or the mechs.

But, man, if any of my mutuals want GOOD DISASTER GAYS--freaking watch code geass, please.

SuzaLulu was and is fucking great.

And anon, we should talk. I've rewatched code geass multiple times--and again, over 10 years later, it's still my favorite series.

Can you imagine if Zero wasn’t Lelouch? Like Kallen and Suzaki sitting there with guns pointed, Suzaku talking about how they both deserve to know the truth and then Suzaku shoots the mask off and it’s just some dude no one knows and Kallen and Suzaku are both just like:

(As I rewatch Code Geass and I’m almost done with R1, it’s just remarkable how much self-sacrifice is always Lelouch’s gameplan, whenever possible Lelouch stabs into himself because he doesn’t believe he’s worthy of living in the perfect world his plans will create which makes him the polar opposite of Light (because I rewatched Death Note right before) who believes his perfect world isn’t worth it if he’s not around to enjoy it. So many of Lelouch’s plans fuck him over in particular intentionally because he’s ridden with guilt over the murders he commits and it makes the Zero Requiem a perfect and beautiful ending for him as a character. There’s so many ways he could’ve done things where the same result would’ve occurred but it would’ve hurt him less but it’s just how his thought process goes that he’ll always take the detour to shoot himself in the foot because he’s making a world for good, honest people and he only sees himself as a lying murderer.

I haven’t seen Lelouch of the Resurrection but I have a feeling I wouldn’t really like it now. I used to wish Lelouch didn’t have to die for his new world to succeed but going through the series it is what he wanted and matches his arc perfectly and I don’t know if you can really salvage undoing that.)

Jesus Christ, that “Yeah I know you’re faking you bitch, go ahead, lie to your little sister, fucking tell your reason for living that you have no idea who she is, suffer you asshole” look on Suzaki’s face as he hands the phone to Lelouch with Nunnally on the other end and knowing that even if Lelouch can maintain the facade it will fucking wreck him, luckily he had the foresight to turn around but like DAMN that is fucking brutal.

(You see this is the key difference between Death Note and Code Geass, Death Note would never have an episode where the Death Note is stolen by a fucking cat and L and Light have quirky slice of life adventures trying to get it back while hiding secrets from each other)

There’s something poetic about Lelouch’s original motivation being “Oh I have to stop Imperialism because my sister is weak and gentle” and ending the series with Nunally being the only person ever to break a geass on her own

Like we’re just going through the checklist to make sure everything Lelouch thought in the beginning was actually the opposite, his mother wasn’t really dead, Nunally wasn’t scarred by it, she’s not gentle since she can fire nukes and kill thousands, and she’s not weak because she broke one of the strongest Geasses in the world with sheer willpower

I like how Viletta in Shirley’s dream is like “What the fuck you shot me you bitch” and Viletta in real life is like “Lelouch Shirley shot me for you, I think she likes you~” like Shirley’s so worried she’ll be mad about it but she’s just like not

(I’ve always liked the philosophy of Code Geass, it’s not as glamorous as Death Note or the like but it does raise questions that are even more important about how far is too far when it comes to bringing about revolutionary change and where freedom fighting ends and terrorism begins and what’s necessary to actually change a corrupt system from different angles and that just keeps getting more and more relevant by the day)

People say “Zero Requiem” a lot when it comes to Attack on Titan but rewatching Code Geass, Eren’s plan is a lot closer to Schnizel’s than Lelouch’s

(Except Eren’s is worse, like you know it’s a hell of an ending when you take the VILLAIN’S plan and go “we can do better”)

Man, gotta love Xingke, he sees Kallen walk into the office in just a towel and is like “Aren’t you the amazing pilot of the Guren Mk 2?” like dude chugs a lot of respect women juice to not even react to her nudity and fawn over her skills

Cecile just has her tits out dress on for the Zoom meeting with Zero, like they ask why she did that and she just kinda goes “uhh well” like she knows the reason’s fanservice but there’s no in-universe reason for it so they don’t bother

(It’s a nice little touch that Lelouch jumps off the roof to save Shirley with no backup plan and Suzaku has to catch his legs, it’s a good little character moment because despite all his plans, if someone’s in trouble Lelouch always does kind of act on autopilot if he really cares and Suzaku’s the one that ends up being more grounded and practical if he gets too ahead of himself, it’s that kind of “I have to act” situation that threw Lelouch into CC in the first place while everyone else was recording the car crash on their phones)

Kallen beating the shit out of Suzaku after spending this whole arc as a damsel in distress in bondage gear and getting tortured is extremely satisfying
