The Deadly Chicken Pox

So as we all must they are out again. The Deadly viral chicken pox is roaming schools and nursery's just looking for its next victim!!

Well my oldest got hit with it at her nursery and it was a stressful two weeks of not getting to leave the house with fights in the mornings because she couldn't go to nursery!

Just as she was clearing up and the last one crusted over the wee yin got it 😭

So it's now the baba and she's covered top to toe and it's even more stressful. Can't take her in the nursery but need to take the eldest and so it's a fight to get them sorted. Thankfully gran is at hand to take her I just need to pick her up.

My last three weeks of life have now been filled with constant cuddles and hugs and kisses with baths left right and centre.

Coming to the close now with my youngest crusting over I thought I'd let u all know some brilliant little tricks for this difficult time!

Tip 1: if your child is off nursery for it make sure you have lots of fun activities lined up to take their mind of not being at nursery

Tip 2: have the calamine lotion in reaching distance at all times along side the piriton

Tip 3: for babies a cool bath works wonders to settle them when nothing else is working

Over the last few days since we have had some good weather we have been going on family walks!

Went around the whole of our pretty little town and even found some animals to play with and get cuddles with 😊

My oldest just loved getting to hold the frogs and then hunting for the hundreds of little lady bugs even found a caterpillar as well.

My youngest enjoyed sitting in the pram seeing all the new sights and just loved watching the trains go past 😍

Tip 1: walks make the kids sleepy 😴

Tip 2: nature walks teach the kids something new

Tip 3: family walks build bonds and are super fun and the kids love them

Tip 4: it's free 👌

Well I'm away to enjoy some more fun with my family I hope you do the same whilst the weather is good 💖

Hospital Trip

Hey peeps,

So tonight whilst my mum was helping me move a new wardrobe into the house I accidentally dropped it on my big toe 😢

After trying to get the swelling down and that not happening I got to spend a non entertaining hour and a half in hospital! Just to find out its not broken just bruised really bad.

So the lesson I learned tonight is that I should never lift items bigger or heavier than me and I should always wear shoes when doing so, but if my dad is on his way leave him to do it!

Note to self:

- Always get help for difficult things

- Always wear shoes if moving heavy items

- Never attempt to lift anything that looks big and heavy

Well I'm now off to put the toe up and relax enjoy your night guys and stay safe 🤗
