Working with stylist Ami Patel, she’s focused on finding looks with wow factor while showcasing Indian design talent. For a trip to the Femina Women Awards last week, it was flowing Bibhu Mohapatra in a vibrant shade of purple, while a guest spot on dance competition Nach Baliye meant a cocktail dress from Payal Khandwala covered in a geometric pattern. Even the celebrations for costar Arjun Kapoor’s birthday called for a memorable outfit. Shetty’s choice? An upcycled striped cardigan from sustainable brand, Doodlage. With Mubarakan having just opened in theaters this past weekend, the actress is getting a well-deserved breather from promotion, but her impressive style is here to stay.
